EVERYONE JUST KNEW Y/N AND JACK BELONGED TOGETHER. And every person who knew them agreed in something—it was very frustrating to see them act like a couple and completely deny there was something going on between them.

The cast of Avatar watched their bond born and blossom. It had been two years since they finished filming that movie, and the cast thought that, by now, they had already admitted their feelings, as they continued to work together after Avatar. And, by the way they were acting around each other throughout the Oscar ceremony, they were sure they were finally a couple.

“Holy shit, Jack, Andrew Garfield is two tables away from us” she said excitedly. “Oh god, is that Margot Robbie? Jack please pinch me I think I just saw Robert Pattinson, also known as the love of my life”.

“I’m not going to pinch you, and your fan girl side is absolutely adorable” Jack said, leaving a kiss on her nose. Y/N laughed and hid her heated cheeks on Jack’s neck.

“I’m so happy for you two!” Zoe told them. The whole table was looking at them as if they were the most adorable creatures in the world.

“What do you mean?” Jack asked confused.

“It was very obvious, you two had always acted like a couple around set. We all knew you would eventually get together” Sam said.

“Oh! No, we are not together. We’re just friends. And we do not act like a couple” Y/N said. The whole table let out a groan.

“I can’t with these two anymore” Stephen sighed.

Jack and Y/N exchanged glances, but said nothing, letting the ceremony continue.

AT THE END OF THE CEREMONY, THEY ENDED UP GOING TO THE VANITY FAIR PARTY. How could they not? Especially after Avatar won an Oscar. They had to celebrate. And above all, Y/N and Jack wanted to get Zoe’s words out of their minds.

“Y/N?” a voice that sounded familiar asked. The girl turned her head around to see one of her ex co-stars, Nick.

“Oh, god. Nick! Hi. It’s been so long” she said excited. He was one of the first people she worked with, and one of her first friends.

“You look amazing!” he said, looking at her emerald dress.

“Thank you, you too” Y/N smiled politely.

“Wanna dance?” Nick asked. Y/N looked around, Jack was supposed to bring some drinks, but he was nowhere to be seen. She was about to decline, when she caught his figure. Jack was talking with a very gorgeous girl, who had her hand on his bicep and was smiling at him in a flirty way.

“Actually, I’d love to” she clenched her teeth, eyes not leaving the scene as Nick led her to the dance floor.

“You okay?” Nick asked. Y/N blinked, finally looking at him. She faked a smile and nodded as they made a conversation.

Hearing Y/N’s laugh, Jack’s head turned around and closed his hand in a fist at the scene in front of him—his Y/N dancing with some boy and laughing at something he was saying. And his hand was on her waist. Her. Waist. Not caring about being polite to the nameless girl—who can’t seem to get her hand off his bicep—anymore, Jack marched towards the dance floor.

“Hey, can I steal you for a second?” Jack asked, not bothering to greet the boy dancing with Y/N. “Great thanks, let’s go” he said before Y/N could even open her mouth.

He led her to the large window at the end of the room, which led them to a beautiful antique balcony. “What the fuck was that?” Jack spat angrily once he closed the door, blocking the sound of the party. The chilly wind of the night embraced them.

Y/N looked at him in surprise, then in annoyance and crossed her arms in front of her chest “What the fuck are you talking about?”

“That… in there” his tone was hard “You were dancing with him, and giggling and flirting… what was that?”

Y/N scoffed “I could ask you the same question, mister. I mean, what was going on there between you and Mrs. Clingy?” her nose scrunched as the image of the girl touching Jack crossed her mind.

“Nothing was going on between me and-” he paused and frowned “Mrs. Clingy? What?”.

“Oh, Jack your hair looks so pretty tonight! Oh Jack, your suit is very stylish and the fabric is so soft! Can I touch it? Oh Jack, have you been going to the gym lately?” she imitated the girl’s pitched voice, while touching his arms “Holy fucking shit, the mice from Cinderella sound less annoying than her”

“That is not what she was saying at all!” Jack rolled his eyes. Lies, that kinda was how the conversation went “What about your boy, then? As if he wasn’t being all clingy, with his arms on your waist and showing you his charming smile, which in my opinion isn’t as charming as the girls on twitter say”.

The girl furrowed her eyes “The girls on-? never mind” Y/N sighed “We were literally dancing! What was he supposed to do with his hands?!” she exclaimed in a loud voice.

“Well, why were you dancing with him in the first place?” Jack asked, his tone matching hers.

Y/N moved her arms frenetically, it was something she did when she got frustrated “He’s my friend! We did a movie together a long time ago, we were catching up”

Jack let out a dry laugh “He sure as hell doesn’t want to be your friend”

“Oh, you read minds now!” she said sarcastically.

“I’m not stupid, I certainly can tell when a guy wants a girl”

“You’re totally wrong, but if he did, what is the problem?”

“There’s no problem!” he forced a laugh. “Why would there be a problem? You can flirt with whoever you want, dance with whoever you want, date whoever you want!”

“Then what is this discussion for?!” Y/N looked at him, she was basically breathing flames when she talked. “There clearly is a problem—you can flirt with girls but for some reason I can’t flirt with boys?? And you have to drag me away to cause a useless fight and can’t even tell me what’s the real reason”.

“So you were flirting!” Jack pointed an accusatory finger at her.

She let out a groan of irritation “That’s what you got from all that?! Really?! Why are you being so insufferable right now?”

“Because I fucking love you!” Jack’s statement was as loud as the beats of her heart when she took in his words. “And I can’t stand seeing you dance with him, looking so fucking angelic. It drives me nuts how he gets to hear you laugh and your sweet voice. I want you to dance with me, I want you to laugh with me, I want the hand on your waist to be mine… and you know what else I want?” he asked, his voice gradually lowered as he spoke, and now it was soft as silk. And his face was only inches away from hers. Y/N was speechless, so she just shook her head “I want to kiss you, and I want everyone to see—especially him”.

“You are so… frustrating” she sighed, now her tone was calmer “He is just my friend, I promise. And I don’t want anyone but you, Jack. Ever since I met you on set, you have been the only boy on my mind. I don’t care how charming his smile is” she said, and Jack whispered ‘not that charming’. “He is not you”.

Jack smiled at those last words. He brought his hand to the side of her face, to pull away a strand of hair that fell from her ponytail “I’m sorry for acting like a jealous boyfriend. I had no right, it just… it pissed me off as much as it scared me”.

“Scared you?” she asked confused, leaning into the softness of his palm.

“The thought of you being with someone else, and losing you before I even got to tell you how I felt… it scared me” he confessed.

Y/N basically threw herself in his arms “I love you, Jack. And I’m sorry too, I also acted like a jealous girlfriend. And if it makes you feel less guilty, I was two seconds away from leaving the place with brunette strands of hair as a trophy”

At that, Jack bursted out laughing “You remind me of that villain bunny from The secret life of pets”

“Jack!” she laughed, pushing his shoulder gently.

“You’re so cute. I love you” he smiled as he left short kisses on her cheeks.

“Just for the record, you are also the least intimidating-looking guy ever. You are literally a golden retriever”

He grimaced “I’m a cat person”

Y/N rolled her eyes, smiling from ear to ear “Just kiss me, dork”.

Jack’s hands grabbed her cheeks as she raised her head to meet his lips. Their chests tightened as they became addicted to the softness of each other’s lips and the taste of cherry that Y/N’s chapstick provided. Her fingertips lost between his long curls as his traced circles on her blushed-covered cheeks.

They cursed the oxygen as they pulled away, breathless and complete mesmerised by the other, as if there were under the influence of some kind of spell. The magic broke with the sound of an opening door, and Y/N couldn’t help rolling her eyes at the sight of the brunette girl.

“Jack! I have been looking for you” her high pitch tone made Y/N’s jaw clench. “Oh, sorry. You don’t mind if I steal him, right?” she asked Y/N, a fake smile plastered on her face.

Y/N mimicked her smile “He’s busy right now. Come back never”

Jack tried not to laugh “Sorry, I want to be here with my girlfriend. There’s a guy on table 5 called Nick who is totally your type, though, you’ll like him”

The girl, clearly confused, turned around and left them alone. Y/N looked at Jack “Can we get out of here? I hate parties”.

“Sure, love. Movie and ice cream?” he asked, grabbing her hand and intertwining their fingers. Their hands, as always, fitted just right. Like they were made to go together, like they belonged together—just like Y/N and Jack.

What's your thoughts on Garfield

i really really like garfiel!! its been a while since ive read arc 5-6 though so like specific plot details get a little murky in my brain (....also arc 7-8's chaotic plotline sometimes too HAH), but yeah like. garfiel and his family add to like those familial relationship themes in rezero i think, and im Invested in their family drama. and yknow i do like garfiel a lot on his own. dudes like a shounen protagonist in the best way possible i think? like i like that hes introduced as a somewhat unpredictable minor antagonist in arc 4 - i remember being interested when reading arc 4 wn (this was before s2 came out HAH) bc it was like. whys garf acting like this from loop to loop. whats going on with him. AND THEN HIS BACKSTORY REVEAL AND THE TRIAL AND THE REVEAL THAT HES SO YOUNG HAH... its perfect. explains his behavior perfectly. and my fondness for him was cemented in that exact moment.

so like garfiel isnt a rezero character that i obsessively go insane over atm (......thats reserved for subaru emilia reinhard otto heinkel i suppose......) but i really like him a lot. i like how he has like. slight misogynistic moments that he gets called out for LMAO T^TT but hes such a sweetheart with the elderly in sanctuary - hes a mamas boy...... and hes pretty earnest and determined at heart. and he likes to READ... HES A BOOKWORM... hes. such a teenage boy. the teenage boy of all time. that i cannot help but feel fond of him, and hes grown even kinder by arc 8 with all the connections hes made... like i absolutely lovee his arc 8 development. its amazing, and i cant wait to see where he goes from here!!! garfiel's arc 8 chapter with the theatre dream is one of my favorite arc 8 moments of all time!!!! and im terrified of whatll happen thatll cause garfiel's line in emilia's third trial :,))))) but very excited. and also i like the garfiel-heinkel dynamic okay sue me (dont sue me literally im a college student). and i think its really fucking funny that they were both cats in garfiel's theatre dream okay.

I saw idkhow in concert last night!!!

It was super last minute, like I found out about it two days prior. I saw them many years ago, but I didn’t really like their new music after the EP, so I didn’t go to any of their new shows. But I’ve been wanting to go to more concerts, and maybe what enticed me was how cheap the ticket was, and I checked out a setlist and I liked a good amount of the songs, so I decided it was worth it. And omg it was!!!!

The venue was small which I like, the sound was good, and I got a good spot where nobody could block my view. The opener Soklo was pretty good. The wait time for idkhow to come one was pretty long, but omg the audience made it so much fun. Someone brought light-up balloons to toss around, and every time a new balloon was released into the crowd, everyone would cheer. And later someone blew up a latex glove into a balloon? But the funniest part was that at some point people started pulling up random images on their phones and showing them to the crowd and people would cheer for each one of them lmao. I saw pictures of Garfield, Miku, Jerma, Dr. Pepper, the words “old man yaoi”… Also someone wrote “chicken jockey” on one of the balloons, and someone else wrote “i <3 m-preg”. It was chaotic and so dumb but I was smiling the whole time. I’ll make a separate post about this because I want to share a video of one of the phone images I caught on camera lmao.

Then the main show was so fun! I even enjoyed the songs I wasn’t excited about, which makes me want to give the latest albums a second chance, lol. Some fans gave us stickers and a little piece of paper to hold against our flashlights during “What Love”, which was cute. I was a little disappointed with “Visitation of the Ghost”, though. They don’t play the whole song straight from start to finish, which kind of dilutes it for me. I feel like it would be much more exciting to see a full performance of it. But Dallon does put on a good show during that part, just not what I was expecting.

Anyway my love for idkhow is slightly rekindled ☺️

MCKAY'S HAUL 🎉

I was SO INSANELY EXCITED to see a Disney Infinity figure of Sam!!! I didn't even know there WAS one... and I just had to get the cute little plush too even if it is kind of ugly lmao, I just needed him to come home with me lol. And a Luke of course!!! I already have Anakin so it just felt right. I find it very amusing that I have started to collect Disney Infinity figures on accident just because McKay's sells so many haha. I do not even have the game, and when I was younger I only played it at my friend's house, but this is kind of making me want to get the game for myself if I'm honest. Also, I got a bunch of Pokémon cards!!!

I've only just recently gotten into Pokémon cards because of the TCG mobile game; I have been OBSESSED with it for the past month or so. I don't even really have a good way to store these cards, because I don't have a binder or anything like that, I just couldn't stand the thought of not buying these. I'm sure some of you understand.

This other stuff isn't from McKay's specifically, but since I'm doing a little haul post anyway I wanted to talk about some other stuff I got this weekend since I did a little self-care shopping yesterday.

From left to right: some mascara I got from Sephora as a free gift for signing up for an account, a fragrance that was part of a free birthday gift that my girlfriend claimed also from Sephora, an eau de parfum from CVS lol, a fragrance mist from Bath & Body works, and a hand soap from Bath & Body works. I never really saw myself as someone who would get really into fragrances but I just keep collecting them on accident haha. Much like the Disney Infinity figures. You really can never tell the future or know what you'll get into 😭

Got this very lovely and amazing little Garfield keychain at a claw machine place. My girlfriend tried very hard to get him for me but apparently he was in one of the most difficult machines there, so a very kind employee got him for me. Nearly cried from joy.

And of course, I ordered this Bucky shirt on the right from Hot Topic because they were almost completely out of it. I'm super excited for it to arrive! And, when I get home tomorrow, I'll have this shirt waiting for me (I had hoped it would arrive before I watched TB* in theaters, but that sadly wasn't the case; I did however get to wear these lovely pins!!):

You could see the warm glow of the candle out of the corner of your eye, illuminating the room warmly. It made you feel safe, despite the fact that currently, you lay sprawled across the bed, nude and completely vulnerable to the whims and desires of Gotham’s most wanted pyromaniac.

Arousal courses through your bloodstream as you wait in anticipation of what’s to come. When Garfield Lynns brought up the idea of dripping wax on you, you thought it was insane. Hot wax being controlled by the hands of an arsonist scared you. It scared you, until it didn’t. Seeing Garfield equipped with his jetpack and flamethrower was always quite the spectacle. A startled yelp escaped from your lips as the first few drops of wax hit the center of your chest. You can feel it, searing into your skin, only for it to quickly dry up. The drops of dried wax begin to crinkle as your chest heaves, sucking in a deep breath as relief from the burn.

“Fuck.” You hiss. You look over to Garfield, who hums out a perverted chuckle.

“See that wasn’t so bad, was it?” He asks with a salacious grin. “You’ll start to see how hot-“ he pauses, letting his shitty pun sink in, “it all feels.”

You roll your eyes, snorting out a laugh. “That was terrible.”

“Oof-” he clutches his chest dramatically, “tough crowd, guess I should stick to my day job, and when I mean day job, I mean arson.” He hardly gives you a chance to laugh at his joke when you can feel the hot wax again, pouring in a thin stream onto your chest, pooling up in your abdomen.

Your laughter quickly turns into a shuddered cry of delicious pain. The pooled wax takes longer to harden, which gives it the perfect opportunity to run down the sides of your stomach as you writhe at the sensation. The ache in your groin only grew more intense. He was right. This was hot, both sexually and temperature-wise.

“God, look at you,” he chuckles in his low, gravelly voice. You can feel his erection pressing into your thigh. Ghost and Reaper wanted to match, but something casual, something not TOO out there. so they tried to do a low-key jake sully and neytiri and... then got too excited and reaper painted her mask with neytiri's facial stripes and they both looked good as fuck

okay so i'll start with harry

so there's a lot of variations with harry - sometimes he has brown hair, sometimes reddish hair, usually blue eyes, though i love the idea of him having green eyes because. i mean. duh.

i didn't really think of fan casts for him specifically in hb, i haven't really gone in depth with his appearance in any of the chapters, but @alwaysonlineau made the actor from love, simon, nick robinson, the icon for harry's account and now i kind of can't picture anyone else lmao. nick has hazel eyes which can look greenish at times so i'm here for it. also i loved his acting in jurassic world and in love, simon so i think he could pull off harry pretty damn well.

also i love that nick was in jurassic world with ty lmao. the ages are off obviously, nick is 28 and literally played ty's older brother in that movie, but for the sake of a fan cast i think nick when he was early 20's looks very Harry Osborn to me. at least he feels very fitting for fanon harry.

if someone were to actually play harry in the mcu i don't know if he'd feel super fitting, i've seen people mention harrison osterfield for mcu harry which i could see. i also looked through a list of harry fan casts and david mazouz looks harry like to me a bit. charlie heaton was also listed which idk if he could pull harry off but looks-wise i could kind of see. asher angel. i know timothee chalamet's name has been tossed around a bunch and i mean i think he could do it but he doesn't look like harry to me lmao. they'd have to make his appearance work for it.

maybe charlie rowe, who i also saw listed as a fan cast. asa butterfield was on that list as well and i could see the mcu going that route too. but in homeward bound, i pretty much just envision nick.

as for gwen stacy!

so, i thought this before @alwaysonlineau came back, and i know i'm not the only one because i've seen quite a few posts on here and other sites saying the same thing, especially after across the spider-verse came out and gwen had the trans flag and coloring and such, but i really think that hunter schafer would be an INCREDIBLE gwen.

it hasn't been mentioned in the fic yet (mostly because i didn't think of this until i was already like halfway through the fic and then i didn't officially decide on it until across the spider-verse came out) but gwen is trans in homeward bound. it's gonna be made explicitly clear as soon as i can figure out a fitting reason for why it wouldn't have been mentioned so far - it feels as though, since the fic is peter's pov and he's never mentioned it, it should be that gwen hasn't told him so he doesn't know, which means finding out is going to have to be a thing. not like a huge thing but it's going to have to become a scene of some kind that establishes the fact that she's trans and then also addresses why she didn't tell him/any of them.

i haven't decided on how yet - it might be a super casual thing where she just never thought to mention it because it's just a part of who she is and she doesn't feel the need to tell people because she doesn't think it really matters (and also hunter schafer has stated that she passes as a cis woman i remember seeing an interview after euphoria season one where she was talking about it and how like yeah it's great to have trans inclusion and representation in euphoria but also she knows that she's white and passing and that's probably a big part of why she got the role, which basically i'm mentioning because if hunter were to play gwen then gwen would also be able to pass very easily as a cis woman as well). i might make it a bigger thing, like maybe she experienced something (some kind of transphobia) in the past that made her very wary about telling people and then by the time she wanted to tell them it had been a long time so she didn't know how, etc. etc. etc.

i'm queer but like i'm a cis lesbian not trans or nonbinary or anything, i do have multiple trans friends and i've seen a lot of posts and art and such about different lives and experiences trans people have had but i'm still cis, so if anyone who isn't cis has any input on what they'd like to see, please let me know. i don't want to approach the topic with a lack of sensitivity and i want to have trans rep in hb but if people want it to be a casual thing then that's what i'll do, if people want there to be more to her backstory then i'll do that instead.

but yeah, basically i can REALLY picture hunter as gwen, like some of her acting in euphoria i feel has some potential gwen energy to it (specific scenes, some displays of emotion that i could see gwen having, etc) but also this picture of hunter feels VERY gwen to me:

This is basically just an au where the dc universe takes place in the Mha universe. Most of the dc heroes are vigilantes due to the lack of founding in hero programs in the US. Vigilantism is still illegal though, and everyone wants the process of becoming a hero to be safer, especially for the younger generations, so some characters decide to send their kids (which are aspiring heroes) as exchange students to Japan, which has a more controlled system that is supposedly safer. You can figure where this is going.

I’m a huge fab five fan, so the story would mostly center around them (they’d be part of class 1a). The rest of the titans, Aka Kory, Gar, Terra, Joey and Vic would be in class 1B.

I have some other doodles and I would like to do some character designs (a bit of changes in their usual suits) in the future.

And now onto Absolute Flash:

Ahh I don’t know if you know anything about absolute flash but it’s so so goodddddd . I mean, I would recommend other stories if you wanted to read about Wally, but this is still a great jumping point. I love the current storyline, Wally’s my sON look at him he’s just a little ball of anxiety and yet he’s trying he’s best. I’m not normal about Wally and his parents in the slightest, I think nearly everything he does is related to them and the other half I’d related to Barry, Iris, Linda and his kids… at his core Wally’s story is always related to love and family, and I feel like Absolute Flash is encapsulating that perfectly.

The contrast between Barry and Rudy, the way Wally views them, id one of my favorite Orta for example. And seeing characters I know and love popping up gives me so much joy. I was vibrating with excitement the second I saw Linda!! I just had been waiting for this for a while and it hasnt disappointed so far. In general I think that the absolute universe was one of the best things dc did. It can be hard to get into comics when there’s years of history behind it but this is a great way to get new people to read comics, without erasing the current universe.

Speaking of the MCU though: I actually saw Captain Marvel in the cinema 4 times I think? The shows got a little overwhelming for me so I’ve only seen Wandavision, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, Ms Marvel, and I might start Secret Invasion only because they filmed in a town near me lmao

- Doesn’t matter if you’re a criminal / villain or hero, the first time you put out one of his fires he tried to burn you alive. Nothing gets between him and his flames /hj

- To be fair, it wasn’t the best first impression for the both of you. But hey, running away from a man on a jetpack trying to burn you alive with a flamethrower does give a good kick of adrenaline, yeah?

- If the pressure is high enough to cut metal, then… if and when you cut one of his jetpack’s wings, he will swear to burn you alive, leaving a pile of ash behind. He really has a way with words, what can I say?

- Now, we all know that Lynns is rather… loud. In origins and knight, he’s constantly shouting taunts during interactions, for example. You’re no exception to this. Threats and taunts could always be heard coming your way when you showed up.

“I will-” he sharply inhaled, adjusting his grip on his flamethrower. “- Melt your face off.”

“Sure, sure.” You scoffed, waiting for him to try and, well, melt your face off. “Keep dreaming, Bug.” He raised his flamethrower, and you immadietly dodged. Which was good, since the spot you were at was now in flames.

- With time, he started hating you less and less (he doesn’t know how it started himself.). It wasn’t exactly obvious to you, seeing as his comments didn’t exactly change.

- He stopped trying to burn you alive. Sure, he did try to burn you here and there still

- He did stop threatening you with time too. That you did notice. Was he enjoying this rivalry? It started to seem so – He wasn’t actively trying to kill you now, anyway.

“You- fuckin’-” He struggled to spit out, as you held him against the concrete.

“Yeah? Speak up.” You mocked him, ripping off the jetpack from his back. He groaned, unable to come up with a fitting insult. “Thought so, hot stuff.”
