New Petpetpet discovered!

Closely following the discovery of the Twig, this one is called the "Floof" and has the following description:

This Petpetpet is so fluffy that we had to name it a Floof to convey just how fluffy it really is. It first appeared during Gnorbu Shearing Day and is entirely made of Fluffy Gnorbu wool.

It being "entirely made of Fluffy Gnorbu wool" (Fluffy capitalized?) makes it an Elemental! It's only available in the Almost Abandoned Attic, as well, which leads me to believe its overall habitat is Neovia or the greater Haunted Woods.

Gonna be rough getting our hands on one of these...

Silly Game Time: What are the first and second foods you associate with the classical (East Asian) elements of Wood and/or Metal?

ooh this is a real interesting question!

for wood i'll have to say bamboo shoots (for obvious reasons) or sourdough bread. idk both seem like sturdy but light foods

as for metal the first thing i thought of was my iron supplements 😭. i love being super anemic (<- lying). but thats not a food so i think ice... which is ironic. something about the crunch of water feels very metalic to me (i swear i'm not saying this because im anemic)

Notes:

The Angelpuss is presently classified as an Elemental due to its clear Light/Good/Angel aspects, which have strong elemental connotations in Neopia (see: Light Faeries). We at the NBP are of course open to debate on this subject.

Also, worth noting that Angelpi are referred to as "kitties," meaning some common association with and possible genetic link to other cat species. This may be a misnomer, however, like how here on Earth the "polecat" and "fisher cat" are actually kinds of mustelid and could more accurately be described as ferrets.

Trying to relax only to jolt up with a start like Wait. What if I fucking got the details wrong. I was just spouting shit off from memory. I've played Book 4 the most I've flipped through it a dozen times and have played it in full at least twice. It's the book that has had the MOST intense grip on me, and WHY, and for WHAT. The beginning it was ABSOLUTELY out of spite, but a seed was planted into my psyche. It has lingered ever since. It has cursed me ever since. It has completely consumed me ever since. But what if I'm Fucking Wrong and I just said the most INSANE fucking bullshit imaginable and oh god I'm gonna be killed. For NO GOOD REASON. If my information was accurate, at least I could die with honor. BUT WHAT IF IT'S NOT... all of that.... FOR NOTHING???????

Anyways it went down pretty much how I remembered it, Peony and Mirabilis in particular saying "I love you" (plus "I wanna be closer to you" <- bit I forgor but DID make me go 😶 upon seeing it), Sharena simply says "Alfonse..." in kind of a ditzy way, Anna remains strong and I actually completely forgot Alfonse had dialogue through this too, actually. He's strong about it too though. To the tune of Ocean Man, Business Man....
