SNAPE HOUSEHOLD (PRINCE ESTATE)

Inside the glorious once-Prince estate, now Snape Household, every living soul was asleep, except for one. Remus slept soundly in his bedroom, ministry papers stacked up on his bedside table, an acceptance letter from Percy Weasley kept open by an inkwell. His owl swooped in through the window at that moment, flying into her cage to sleep after a night of hunting. 

Minerva and Seraphina slept in their shared room, the elder Snapes' bedside table covered with makeup magazines and the products themselves were lined neatly on a vanity across from her bed. Her cat curled up against her side, purring softly and contentedly. Sera was sprawled on her stomach, her hand still holding open the chapter she had fallen asleep reading. 

Elijah Kingsley snored softly, the headphones he had been wearing to listen to classical music to fall asleep askew across his forehead now, and would make his neck sore for the train ride to Hogwarts the following morning. His brother Damon hadn't made it to bed, falling asleep at the desk in the corner of the room, bent over Transfiguration homework he still hadn't finished over the summer. 

Further down the hallway, the head of the household slept on his side, his arm wrapped around his wife. He was fast asleep, his long black hair curtained around his face. He was sleeping peacefully, his dreams meaningless shapes and colours that swirled around his head. His wife on the other hand, had her brow furrowed, delving into less pleasant dreams. 

Carlisle and Hatsuharu slept on their bunk beds that their father had magicked together. Marvel and DC superhero posters lined the walls, paraphernalia scattered on the dresser tops, and action figures littered the floor from where they had been playing with them before bed time. Iron Man had Batman in a choke hold, despite the Iron warrior having blasters. 

Davina mumbled in her sleep in the room that connected to her twin brothers, dreaming about her first day at Hogwarts. She was dreaming of gorgeous centaurs and beautiful, crystal clear lakes to swim in. The feeling of wind whipping through her hair as she flew under the instruction of Madam Hooch and boiled potions under the guidance of Professor Slughorn, whom her parents had had as well. And to see her Aunt Minerva too! And Uncle Neville!

Marinette on the other hand, stared at the ceiling of her bedroom. Her father had let her stick plastic muggle stars to the ceiling, which glowed green in the dark. She had arranged them like constellations, naming each one as she looked at them. 

The stars were the only decorations in her room. Her walls were bare and white, not even lined with wallpaper. Her mother had asked if she wanted the walls painted green when she had been placed in Slytherin two years ago, but she did not want that. 

She hated Hogwarts. She dreaded going back this year for her third term. She thought enviously of Remus and how he was already out of school and in the Ministry. Not that she wanted to be in the ministry either. Whatever she did out of Hogwarts, she would make sure she wasn't in another institution. 

She sat up slowly, looking around. Snowball was curled up in his bed, his tail over his pink nose, the only colour to him besides his amber eyes. 

The house was silent, until she put her feet on the floor, which creaked very softly underneath her. She tiptoed across the room, opening up the door, padding down to the bathroom. Moonlight lit up different spots of the white carpet as it came in through the windows whose curtains had not been drawn. It seemed Haru had forgotten to do so. 

She drew the curtains across the windows now, each one, silently, before closing the bathroom door behind her. 

She listened to the house creak very slightly, but also to the wings of owls as they fluttered in and out of the different rooms. One of them hooted from outside, and she saw Carlisle's new owl flutter onto a branch, meeting a wild owl. 

She closed the curtains there too. 

If only she was like her mother, she thought for a moment. Her mother was successful without going into the ministry. Her mother had been able to do whatever she wanted, could achieve whatever she put her mind to. 

Over the course of only nineteen years, her mother was a successful Auror, part time Quidditch player, inventor of the Werewolf cure potion, Gymnastics coach for a muggle gym, and singer in Lee Jordans' band called M.O.M. Not to mention, she had written a book series which was fantasy fiction to the Muggle world, but nonfiction biography to the Wizard world of being at Hogwarts when she was, but by the point of view of her Uncle, Harry. 

Her mom was a star in so many different categories, it was unbelievable. 

Mari wished she was her mother. Her own person. Powerful. Attractive. Not afraid to stand up for herself. 

All of her other sisters even looked like her to an extent. Minerva and Seraphina both had brown hair and eyes. Davina had black hair like their father, but her mothers' eyes, nose, and even her dimples when she smiled. 

Even her brothers had hints of their mother in them. Remus and Haru both had brown hair, Carlisle had very dark brown hair that almost looked black. Damon had his moms nose and dimples. Elijah Kingsley looked the most like their father, but his eyes were amber instead of black or brown. 

Mari on the other hand looked like her father and only her father. Long black hair, black eyes, with no colour to her cheeks, no dimples, and her fathers nose as well. She had nothing from her mother. 

She left the bathroom but stopped in the hallway when she heard a whimper. At first, she thought it was a cat, but then the whimper sounded again, except it was a cry of pain. The hairs on her arms stood up, her senses completely alert. 

Then, she heard her fathers' voice, "Elizabeth. Darling, wake up you're having a nightmare. . ." 

Severus had awoken to what felt like an earthquake. He had frozen in bed for a second, before realizing that it was only the bed shaking. He sat up slowly, lighting a candle without hand or wand, turning to see that Elizabeth was shaking in bed, tears streaming down her cheeks. 

He let out a sigh of sympathy, wrapping his arms around her. 

Marinette silently ran back to her room, closing the door, sliding underneath the covers. And that was the one reason she didn't want to be her mother: nightmares. 

Severus had pulled Elizabeth into his arms, holding her tightly as she cried and whimpered, unable to rouse her from the nightmares. She whimpered out a name, then and there and Severus sighed, feeling his heart sink. 

That had been, what? 21, 22 years ago? Why was she still thinking about that? Thinking about him?

Elizabeth woke with a start, slowly opening her eyes, finding that she was in her husbands' arms. She snuggled into him, feeling rather content and peaceful as she drifted back to sleep, never knowing that he was awake and watching. 

Severus closed his eyes, falling back to sleep. 

The name she had said, was 'Cedric'.

BACKSTORY::

Born in the 10th century, Seraphina Luarent was the daughter of a powerful African witch, Nyah, who was a part of an ancient coven that worshiped the sea and practiced water-based magic. However, her father was something far darker—a siren, a creature of legend known for luring souls to their doom. From birth, Sera was marked by this duality.

Her mother sought to keep her daughter's siren nature at bay, training her in the craft of witchcraft rather than allowing her voice to become a weapon. However, when Sera reached adolescence, her siren instincts awakened. Unlike other witches, she could compel with her voice alone, bending even the strongest minds to her will. This ability made her dangerous, and her coven feared what she might become.

When the Mikaelsons began their reign of terror across Europe, Seraphina’s coven tried to remain hidden, but fate had other plans. She crossed paths with Elijah Mikaelson in the early 12th century when she was captured by a rogue vampire who intended to use her abilities to control others. Elijah, recognizing both her power and her pain, freed her but warned her that she would always be hunted for what she was.

At some point, Seraphina was turned into a vampire—whether by force or choice remains a mystery. But rather than become an ordinary vampire-witch hybrid, her siren blood caused an anomaly: she could not be fully controlled by vampire compulsion, and her voice could control even the most ancient creatures. The process also made her immortal, though she still required blood to survive.

Arrival in New Orleans

Seraphina spent centuries hiding, embracing her siren nature only when necessary. She built a name for herself as an occult expert, traveling the world and assisting witches, vampires, and even humans when it suited her. However, in the early 1900s, she found herself drawn to New Orleans—a city pulsing with supernatural energy. She settled in the French Quarter, establishing herself as a singer at a local jazz club while secretly running an underground business dealing in rare magical artifacts.

When the Mikaelsons returned to New Orleans, she kept her distance at first. But when she learned of the Hollow, she knew she couldn’t ignore the danger it posed. The Hollow’s magic was old, dark, and eerily familiar—like the magic her mother once wielded. Seraphina was forced to step out of the shadows and re-enter the Mikaelsons' world, forming a tense alliance with them.

Elijah took her a romance dinner at her favourite restaurant, followed by the opera and then proposed in the Seraphina Sanctuary under the moonlight with a familiar pressed flower and a ring.

Were his hands all clammy? Probably, he just hoped she didn't notice as they took a walk in the park after their dinner and the opera. "So... did you enjoy the show?" Elijah broke the silence between them, offering her a smile. "I thought about a play but figured, hey it's your birthday, let's go all out."

Beverly swung their hands as they walked, just taking in the sights and fresh air of the park. “Hmm? Oh, I loved it! You don’t have to do all that for my birthday.” She gave him a small smile and then squeezed his hand. “Thank you for taking me though. I know it’s just a show but it means a lot to me.”

"Yes I did." He said with a chuckle then leaned in to kiss the side of her head. He could feel his heartbeat speed up a little, there was no time like the present. "Listen…" Elijah paused and gave her hand a light squeeze. "We've known each other a very long time, we've been through some shit together but we've always come out alright on the other side. I've even kept this that you gave me from when we were kids." Elijah stuffed his hand into his pocket, pulling out the flower… and the box by accident, causing him to almost scramble to catch it before it dropped on the floor, great, this wasn't how it was meant to go, not in his head. With a sigh and knowing she probably saw it, he moved onto a knee and held the flower out first. "I kept this as a reminder of our first meeting and pressed it in a book."

Beverly laughed a little herself as she felt the kiss. He was always so soft with her. When they stopped, her smile only softened but the curiosity quickly rolled in after that. It was quite the speech to give on her birthday but she wasn’t arguing with it. Maybe tease him some later for being so nervous. She tilted her head in curiosity at what he could’ve kept, only to have her eyes locked on a small box that fell from his pocket. Her heart fluttered then began to pound, her cheeks far beyond blushed as she turned her gaze back to him. Maybe she could pretend she didn’t see it. She could do that for him. But then he went down on one knee and her eyes filled up with tears instead. “You kept my flower?” She muttered in disbelief, taking it delicately into her hand. “I— I can’t believe you held onto this, Elijah.”

"Yes." He nodded. "I kept it because I thought to myself back then 'this is the girl I'm going to marry' and I know it took a while for us to get here but, Beverly, I love you and I don't wanna be without you. Will you marry me?" Elijah opened the box and held it out to her.

Beverly tried to dry her tears with her arm but it was a useless effort at this point. "I'm such an emotional—" she gave up, just letting the happy tears stream instead as she set a hand on his cheek. "Elijah, I love you and I've wanted to be your wife since we were kids. I wrote it all over my diary." Between her laughs she managed to nod her head. "Yes, I will marry you."

He let out a laugh when she told him that. "I need to see this." Then he got up and wrapped his arms around her, kissing her deeply for a moment before stepping back and put the ring on her finger with the biggest grin. "You have made me the happiest man in this whole damn city."

"Never," Beverly giggled, "you can't make me." She kept her hand on his cheek as they kissed, sighing softly in the knowledge that she was kissing her future husband. It was so different than her previous engagement. Everything she wanted. "I can't believe you did this— the ring is so pretty, oh my God—" she shook her head in disbelief as it shined. "I love you so much."

"I wanted to make this birthday one you'll never forget." Elijah brought her in again and kissed the side of her head. "Yeah? You like it? I'm glad, I was worried it was too flashy."

"You caught me off guard, I didn't think you'd do something like this today." She leaned into him, smiling brighter as he kissed her head. "No, it's perfect. Absolutely perfect." It felt so unreal. "I'm going to be your wife."

Elijah rested his forehead against hers and sighed a little. "And I'm going to be your husband, your actual husband." He teased a bit with a light chuckle. "Come on, let's go home, I'll make us some hot chocolate."

Elijah stopped in the open doorway and knocked on the doorframe of Seraphina's office at the university. "Afternoon Seraphina." It was that slow time in the afternoon when nothing was really happening. He had a coffee cup in each hand and stepped inside, setting one on her desk before he sat down across from her. They had met briefly outside of the university in a supernatural context, and had passed each other in the halls a few times without getting a chance to talk at the school. "How are you settling in?"

"𝕺𝖐𝖆𝖞, 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖌𝖔𝖙 everything you n- DAMON JAMES SNAPE IF YOU TRY THAT AGAIN YOU WON'T BE GOING TO HOGWARTS AT ALL YOU HEAR ME!" I shouted at my son as he pushed Seraphina on the stairs. Damon and Sera quickly ran down the rest of the stairs, probably to continue the roughhousing downstairs. I turned back to my daughter, Davina. "You have everything you need?" 

"Yes mum." Davina said impatiently. "Can we go now?" 

"Almost, go and get your stuff and put it in the car." I said, giving her a gentle push and then went back into her room. 

Severus dashed into the room, looking frenzied. This was always his least and favorite time of the year for several different reasons, "Elizabeth how many kids do we have? It's seven, right? Cause I have seven trunks?" 

I froze like a deer in headlights, mentally counting in my head. 

"Oh Merlin you don't know how many kids we have either." Severus dashed back out of the room and down the stairs. 

"Eight! Eight kids!" I shouted down the stairs. 

Remus, Minerva, Elijah, Damon, Seraphina, Hatsuharu, Davina, Marinette. Although technically, Remus was already graduated from Hogwarts. 

"No!" Marinette shouted back up. "Nine! Five boys and four girls! I want another sister!" 

Oh Merlin I had forgotten Carlisle. 

"No!" Severus shouted, skirting around her. "No more children!" 

I laughed slightly, before gathering up a few last minute belongings, hurrying down the stairs after the kids. Severus was putting the last of the trunks in the large car we had and then we headed on down to Central Station. 

"We should've just flooed." Severus said stressfully as I calmly drove down the Muggle streets. His hands were clutching the arm rests and I jerked the brakes a little. He closed his eyes, breathing in heavily. "Elizabeth!" 

I giggled and then let up on the driving, the rest of it being smooth until we pulled into the car park of Central. "See, it was fine." 

"Okay kids out the car." 

"Can I stay in the car?" Remus asked, bored. He had graduated from Hogwarts last year and would be working under Percy at the Ministry this fall. We were both extremely proud of him, although I hoped he wouldn't gain a pompous behavior. But he was much like his grandfather, so the chances were fairly low. 

"You came, you help." Severus said, helping Marinette out of the car as she wouldn't let go of the cat he'd bought her for Christmas three years ago. "Help your sister out with her trolley." 

Remus hopped out of the car and put Marinette's luggage on a trolley, before lifting her up so that she could sit on her luggage while he pushed her. 

I was more worried about her than the other kids, even though it was her second year at the school whereas it was Davina and Carlisle's first year. But Marinette was different from the rest of my kids and it worried me. 

"C'mon, Trang is waiting for us on the platform." Severus said, closing the car doors as the children started up to the school. "What's wrong?" 

"Nothing." I shook my head. "Just worried about Mari, that's all." 

"She'll be fine." Severus said, kissing the side of my head, leading me by my hand up to the station as well. 

Trang, Oliver, and their children; Katie and Thomas, were waiting for us outside of platform 9 3/4. 

"Hey." I hugged her tightly and she hugged me back enthusiastically. Katie seemed to be throwing a fit of sorts while Thomas went ahead through the barrier with Damon, the two of them chattering excitedly. Seraphina went next and Severus followed through with Carlisle and Davina. 

"Katie doesn't want to go." Trang said heavily, her American accent clipped. Her and Oliver had been spending most of their summers in America while he traveled for Quidditch. Then she was  Professor at Hogwarts during the winter. "She wanted to go to Illvermorny instead but I didn't want them going to different schools. But all of her witch friends are going there and. . . Merlin Elizabeth she set the house on fire last night. . ." 

"Hey they do these things." I reassured her. "Remember when Seraphina set our garden on fire cause she wanted to make s'mores but it was the middle of June and Severus said we couldn't light the bonfire?" 

Trang chuckled. "True." 

"Once she gets to Hogwarts, she'll do alright. She'll make new friends for the winter and keep her old friends for the summer. She'll love it." I said, linking arms with Trang and following Remus and Marinette through to the other side of the platform. 

"Okay I'm going to be late if I don't hurry." Trang said, looking around and hurrying off, calling after her son. 

"Auntie Elizabeth!" A new voice cried out. I turned and smiled, bending down to scoop the young girl into my arms. 

"Hi Irene, how are you doing?" I asked the young girl. Her parents, Ernie and Susan, quickly came up behind her followed by her brother Justin. 

"Good!" She said excitedly. 

"Hey Aunt Elizabeth." Justin said shyly. 

"Hey Justin." I said, getting up and ruffling his hair. 

"Elizabeth!" Severus called for me and I waved good-bye to them and headed over to my husband. "Found them." He gestured over to where Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny were standing with their own kids. Dad and Tonks were also nearby, saying good-bye to their two twin daughters- and my sisters- before they scrambled up onto the train. Oliver and Trang were also with them, their children also already on board. 

I smiled, seeing Dad. Over the past years I had worked hard on a werewolf potion, before becoming rather successful. Dad had been my guinea pig throughout it all, although I had begged him to let me use another werewolf. But he had insisted and now, he was extremely healthy. The newest concoction had been working for the past year and a half, except for a nasty side effect of vomiting and having a heavy fever. But dad insisted it was better than becoming a werewolf every moon instead.

"Parked all right, then?" Ron asked Harry. "I did. Hermione didn't believe I could pass a Muggle driving test, did you? She thought I'd have to Confund the examiner." 

"No, I didn't." Hermione said. "I had complete faith in you." 

"As a matter of fact, I did Confund him." Ron whispered to Harry, Trang, and I as we loaded the luggage up. Severus was nearby as well, looking extremely concentrated as he put the trunks away. Trang and I giggled. "I only forgot to look in the wing mirror, and let's face it, I can use a Supersensory Charm for that." 

Back on the platform, Lily and Hugo were discussing which House they would be sorted into when they finally went to Hogwarts. 

"If you're not in Gryffindor, we'll disinherit you." Ron said. "But no pressure!" 

"Ron!" 

While Lily and Hugo laughed, Albus, Rose, Davina, and Carlisle looked rather solemn. Katie simply continued to pout angrily. 

"He doesn't mean it." Hermione and Ginny said together. 

"I don't care what house you're in." I said to Davina and Carlisle. 

Ron, who had been distracted with pointing out Draco Malfoy- someone none of them had seen in nineteen years although I had seen him at glances throughout my years in the Ministry- he turned his attention back to me at those words, "You don't care?" 

I rolled my eyes. "Why would I? I have three Gryffindors, two Hufflepuffs, a Ravenclaw, and a Slytherin. I am practically Hogwarts myself." 

"Ooh so that's little Scorpius." Ron muttered under his breath, no longer paying attention again, "Make sure you beat him in every test, Rosie. Thank God you inherited your mother's brains." 

"Ron, for heaven's sake, don't try to turn them against each other before they've even started school!" Hermione protested. 

"You're right, sorry. Don't get too friendly with him, though, Rosie. Granddad Weasley would never forgive you if you married a pureblood." 

"Talk to her Remus." Severus' voice intruded my ears as he whispered to dad. 

"What do you want me to say?" Dad sounded incredibly amused. 

"Tell her something, anything. She'll kill me if we have anymore kids. We just got the last two out of the house! And she wants another?" 

Dad laughed. "You're only at nine Severus. You better hang on because when she was younger, she was talking about having twenty-one." 

Severus groaned. 

"Hey!" James shouted, reappearing, bursting with news. "Teddys' back there. Just seen him! And guess what he's doing? Snogging Victoire!" 

Trang put a hand over her mouth so James couldn't see her laugh. 

"Our Teddy! Teddy Lupin! Snogging our Victoire! Our cousin! Your brother! And I asked Teddy what he was doing-" 

"You interrupted them? You are so like Ron." Ginny said, exasperated. 

"-and he said he'd come to see her off! And then he told me to go away. He's snogging her!" James added again. 

"Oh, it would be lovely if they got married!" Lily squealed. "Teddy would really be part of the family then!" 

"I bet Bill will be really ecstatic." Trang mumbled to me and Oliver. We both laughed. Tonks was laughing silently, so hard that tears were streaming down her face while she clutched onto dad. Severus looked slightly amused. 

Harry checked his watch and said, "It's nearly eleven, you'd better get on board." 

The others bustled around to get their kids on the train and last minute hugs and kisses. 

"Okay, so remember that you're coming home for Christmas." I said to the kids as they hugged and kissed Severus and I. "Elijah! Elijah Kingsley!" Elijah turned back to me. "You make sure they come home for Christmas you understand me?" 

"Yes mum." Elijah Kingsley said, hugging me. "I won't leave 'em behind." 

"Good." I said sternly, kissing his cheek. "Minerva!" She hugged me tightly. "Make sure you tell your Aunt Minerva we said hello." 

"Of course mom." She said, before hopping on the train, her and Elijah Kingsley heading for the Head Boy and Girl carriages. 

"Okay Mari, have a good day at school." I said softly, hugging my Slytherin daughter, squishing the cat just slightly between us. 

She nodded, before hugging her father good-bye. "I love you two." I said to Davina and Carlisle. Soon all of the kids were on the train except for Albus. I smiled to myself, watching Harry talk to him down on his knees. 

Lee and I had kept the band together and today as the train pulled out, we would release the last album we'd make. At least together. The one with the song 'Bravest Man I Ever Knew.' I could hear Harry tell Albus where his name originated from, just like it would say in the song. And the last album that told the story of our lives would be out. 

Albus climbed onto the train and us parents watched. Trang was gone, probably to apparate to Hogsmeade so she could get to Hogwarts before he kids. Severus stood next to me, one hand in mine, the other in his pocket. Dad and Tonks stood to the side, waving at their girls: Isabelle and Clementine. 

The children on the train craned to get a good look at us, pointing and whispering to each other. Severus huffed, turning his face away slightly. 

"Why are they all staring?" Albus demanded. 

"Don't let it worry you. It's me. I'm extremely famous." Ron said. 

Albus, Rose, Hugo, Lily, Carlisle, and Damon laughed. The train began to move, Harry walking alongside it. Severus and I waved until the train had completely pulled away. 

"Elizabeth." Dad said, pulling me into a hug. Severus went ahead and stepped to the side to wait for me. 

"How are you feeling?" I asked, looking him over. 

"The best I've been in years, thanks to you." He said softly. After the war, Kingsley had given him a job in the Auror department before he had retired eight years ago. "By the way, don't try to drive Severus to crazy." 

I smirked. "I'll try." 

I kissed Dads' cheek and headed back to Severus. Just as the two of us pushed back through the barrier to the real world, I paused, seeing Albus sitting on the train with  Scorpius. It was so random and uncertain that I just stood there for a moment. 

Severus turned back, looking at me with concern. 

"Coming." I said, hurrying after him. 

I knew he had seen me, my eyes glazed over. I knew he knew what that meant. And as we both headed to the car in silence, Remus tailing after us, I knew we were both thinking the same thing: I hadn't had a vision in nineteen years.

BACKGROUND: Morgan had always been the type to want to punch first, ask questions later. She wasn’t always good at resolving much of anything with her words, but eventually she got into sports and other physical activity to express herself without being so disruptive that she risked being rejected. Her entire family was in Vice so she knew how it worked from a young age. Near the end of her time at school, she fell in love with a man her age who came from a Virtue family, and he was the kindest man she’d ever met. She couldn’t believe he was with her, but especially when he chose Vice in order to be with her. They were married shortly after they left school for Vice, and she found work as a bodyguard thanks to her attitude and physical skills. Her happiness didn’t last though, after a few years her husband got sick and she lost him, and she still blames herself because he could have gotten better medical care had he chosen Virtue.

- He was at a loss for what to do with his life, no real purpose or goals.  At 19 his adoptive father's locally run barber shop was robbed and James hated how incompetent the Knights were in the case.  He swore to do a hell of a lot better than they ever did.

- He rose up the ranks rather quickly as a Knight, showing a lot of promise in his sharp intelligence and compassionate heart, even under the gruff demeanor.  After an incident on the job left his right leg in a cyber-enhanced brace, James slowly became less active on the field.  When his partner Elijah got selected for Gambit, James was as proud as could be.  But his mental health also suffered without his old partner and best friend there to be a buffer.

- The official report says James was found drunkenly passed out at Seraphina Sanctuary on a bench, his service pistol clutched tightly in hand.  After that he was forced into treatment and moved into a purely administrative position.  

- While his mental health has improved, James finds desk duty extremely dull and in his free time has begun to do bit of a PI side business.  He even has a rather crude and archaic website set up for anyone wanting to request his services.

BACKGROUND: 

Grew up very disconnected from her parents. They worked long hours and didn’t have the time to look after her—nor the interest, since they were both young and not prepared or interested in being parents. Oakley essentially raised herself.  She’s very disconnected from them now, struggles with anger issues and forming close relationships with people because she’s afraid they’ll leave. She threw her all into learning how to defend herself and fight because it made her feel safe and cared for—by herself, that is.  She was at a pretty low point in her life when she literally stumbled into Hiraeth. Being there finally gave her a purpose. She became a Knight mostly due to how she felt that it aligned with her skills. She wasn’t quite sure what else she’d be good at.
