HEY🫵 does mica have an art walk this year I know last years was in may but I can find straight up NO information online

we do and i will be exhibiting!!! the show opens 5:30pm on May 16th and runs through the 19th, and students will be standing with their art for an hour or so after opening on the 16th! I don't currently know exactly where i'll be exhibiting (still have to submit my proposal fml) but i know I'll be somewhere in the fox building!

A while back you made a post talking about yakumo and his sensitivity to temperature and I haven't stopped thinking about it. imagine when winter comes around and yakumo becomes progressively sluggish, usually staying in the kitchen and not leaving for hours, always making something near the stove to feel a little warmth from the flames or from a little taste of the things he's making (soup probably), or him picking up the habit of bundling himself up and staying in the library to read and nap. maybe when it starts getting even colder he barely leaves his room because its too uncomfortably cold for him, and if he does he's probably looking for eiden to help him warm up, but if eidens not around he gets antsy and looks for somebody else in the mansion, but he's too shy to ask and looks at whoever with his wet eyes so they know he's cold and wants a cuddle

*inhales deeply* ah yes. you understand. you envision it all so clearly. rightly so. gEt in the wAy, everybody, snake burrito walking the halls very very slowly!!!!!!! (i was about to say get OUT of the way but that would probably make yakumo colder so why not do him a favour and collide with him on your way to another room)

Thronebreaker is such good writing

it would have been easy to portray Meve as this awe-inducing force of nature, badass queen (and don't get me wrong, she is) but it's every time the narrator shows us her moments of weakness - a trembling arm, a shaky breath, tears being blinked back, questioning her decisions - that i truly lose it.

I'm fully in Inklings Challenge idea-gathering mode and I'd forgotten how great it is. I just get to go through my day gathering potential story sparks. Anything could become a story. I don't need to stress over choosing one or committing to one because I don't know which genre I'm writing yet. I can build a basic concept, and then if it turns out it captures my attention come October, I've got a well of ideas I can draw from and add onto it. I'm just finding Legos to put in my toybox. It's so fun.

I realised.. yesterday? Sunday? that I could describe Arete as “the Player that never was” (like, say, The World That Never Was). Not only did I use them as my player character/version of the player during the Missing Link betas, and fully intended to keep using them as such once the game came out, but they’re also (technically) Clio’s Nobody, which goes along with how The World That Never Was was the base of operations for the Organisation.

So now I’m just thinking a lot about them and my selfship with Clio and how my self-inserts fit into Kingdom Hearts and just. Everything ;w;

I really hope I get to play as them again someday, somehow

Roan is a good pick for a fun and generally drama-free romance. Lots of flirting, lots of dragon blood mentions. You’ll never get cold at night 🔥 or any time of day, really.

Tarja is down for the fwb route, but you’ll need to jump through some hoops to start anything more meaningful. Be ready to meet all of her relatives, at the same time.

Also maybe MY got picked up by Meng Shi after JGS threw him out but his memories of that are super nebulous and he doesn't know where mama is :( As soon as WRH gets his power back he's putting all his resources into finding her (or her grave.)

Whatever the apocalypse was, it separated him from his mama and messed up with his memories and hardware, so MY had to fend for himself with this vague feeling of missing someone, but unable to figure out who or why.

When he finds WRH, for a moment there he thought that was the person he was missing, but as much as he loves his new human, the feeling didn't go away, and maybe the entire custody battle triggered his memories of who was really his "parent".

Tbh I'd choose to have MS still alive bc both her and MY deserve it for a chance xD. The apocalypse was as rough on her as on everybody, and most of the advanced androids like MY disappeared so she thought her little one was gone too.

Although another part of me also likes the idea of her being one of the many casualties and WRH's new resources get used in giving her a mausoleum like ppl hadn't seen in a generation :')))))

(But no really, let them be happy and MS discovering her boy is alive and well bc of the televised court hearings idk lol)
