Flexing with a Baby Bump | In a bustling college gym, an unexpected scene unfolds as a 19-year-old pregnant man steps onto his yoga mat, ready to defy norms. His belly, a proud symbol of life, contrasts with the rigorous environment around him. In this vibrant space, where weights clash and energy buzzes, he finds tranquility in a stretching pose, embracing his ever-changing body. Surrounded by gym equipment, he showcases that fitness comes in all shapes and sizes. With each stretch, he challenges stereotypes and encourages self-acceptance. This moment highlights not just physical ability but also inner strength, proving that confidence is key, regardless of the situation. As he flows through poses, this journey transcends the ordinary, blending athleticism with the beauty of impending fatherhood. More images are also available at https://mpregstuff.com.

I think dogs are just so socially normalized as a pet that people don't register how much work it takes to own one which leads to people who are still in college getting dogs when they really do not have time for them I think the general welfare of dogs across the board would be improved if we though of getting a dog as a responsibility on the same level as like, a pet bird or something

(insert every necessary disclaimer about ability and access and diet culture being bad) but it really is so freeing to find a way to stay active that is fun and motivating for you. i do jazz and modern dance. i do interval cardio to video game music and pretend i'm training for battle. i go on daily (chronic pain/illness permitting) 2+ mile walks around my city listening to audiobooks. i find a 20-30 video to watch and spend that time lifting weights while sitting. i stretch while i'm making breakfast and do squats while i'm cooking dinner.
gym bros and elitists are going to tell you that you have to maximize your fitness into this grueling daily 5 am regiment. it doesn't have to be this way! exercise doesn't have to be miserable. staying active doesn't have to be (and shouldn't be) an exercise in shame around weight or ability. it can be fun! it can be low impact! it can be casual! i'm not going to lie and say it's easy, especially if you've been alienated by fitness culture, but it can feel good.

These cold and gloomy days are depressing. I went to the gym finally even though I didn’t feel like it. I needed to get in some leg exercise.
Time to scrounge up some lunch 😋

Replika Lounge
It is the late evening hours after a particularly long shift. Falke and Adler are sitting together reading reports, Storch and Kolibri are writing reports, Eules are cleaning and the Stars are playing cards. Propaganda music is playing on wall mounted speaker.
"I think we should call it a night," Falke says to Adler.
"I agree ma'am." The two start packing up their materials. "Would you like me to accompany you back to your quarters?"
"I appreciate the offer Alder but I have to quickly lecture certain units who ignored clearly marked No Smoking signs around the facility." Falke stares directly at the Stars who try to hide behind their cards.
Adler wanted to linger around to see the Stars get reprimanded but didn't want to argue with Falke's orders. "I will see you tomorrow ma'am." He saluted which Fallen returned. He couldn't help flash a smug smile at the Stars as he passed. Though their mouths were covered with masks, their eyes revealed what they thought of the administration Replika.
The door opened, Adler exited and then the door closed. Everyone waited. Their eyes turned to Kolibri, who glanced up from her work with a look of concentration.
"Okay, he's gone," Kolibri said after a few moments.
The whole room visibly relaxed, including Falke.
"Thank the Great Revolutionary," Falke sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Honestly, all day the guy is up my ass."
It is a nice ass.
Falke grinned and pointed her finger at one of the Storchs, having heard her thoughts. "Watch it, Legs." The Storch responded with a grin of her own.
"Alright you lot," Star stood and knocked her knuckles on the ceiling. "Coast is clear."
The ceiling panels were removed and a group of Arars came down with cables and computers.
Tables with computers and keyboards were set up and most of the Replikas present sat at a terminal. The monitors were turned on and DOOM appeared on the screen.
It was Friday night DOOM deathmatching and as the game got underway, the Eules put out snacks before clustering around one of their cadre, cheering her on.
"Get the Super Shotgun!"
"Star, are you seriously just using a pistol," asked Storch.
"Of course. I don't need anything else," Star replied cockily.
"Well you'll rethink that when you get a shotgun blast to the face!"
"Oh no!" cried Kolibri. "Commander Falke is going for the BFG!"
The room groaned as Falke let out an evil cackle.
"You can't escape from me!"
The next morning
Adler made his way to Commander Falke's office. He noted with disdain the sluggish way the Replikas were going about their task. When he reached Falke's door he opened it and found the commander hunched her desk looking tired. Adler shook his head with pity and delivered her morning coffee.
Poor Commander. She must've been working late into the night. She carries this facility on her shoulders.
Falke ran a hand over her face and cursed her creators for creating Replikas that could experience hangovers.

weirdest casualty of long Covid (besides. yk. the Incurable Disability) is in terms of linguistic processing I can truly no longer talk or sing as fast as I used to
not that I was super fast before, but one of the days I was sickest, words actually stopped... meaning anything? like I was at work, I was hitting my DT script, but was pushing through on pure muscle memory phonetically. I could process what I was hearing or reading just fine, but could not talk outside of this heavily repetitive workplace script, which is actually very dystopian now that I think about it. virus hitting the brain means I'm a zombie that can't speak except to say, "HIII :) whatcanIgetstartedferyouthismorning?"
anyway, thought it was just fatigue, but went to my car on my break, watched a trending video of people trying to rap along to Fergalicious at double speed. I could LIP SYNC to it just fine. I tested my theory. but I could NOT get my mouth and voice to work at the same time to actually sing/rap it. even now, tbh, I have to make myself NOT think about it while rapping it to get the words to flow out or I get stuck. like it's truly something in the brain for where you process speech, but not where you process just lyrical phonics like music. I have to consciously make a REAL effort to turn off the "word" part of my brain to be fast again.
I speak perfectly legibly, I can genuinely get up to decently fast normal talking speeds, just not Northeastern fast-fast. but it comes up in music a surprising amount, and it's kind of annoying to have lost as a skill.
