The first episode of Deep Space Nine aired on January 3, 1993. DSN was the first spin-off of the Star Trek the Next Generation universe. There were plans to feature the STNG character Ro Laren, but the actess Michelle Forbes did not want to commit to the series at the time. In place of Ro, a new character was created named Kira Nerys (Nana Visitor). Colm Meaney continued in this series as his STNG character Miles O'brien. Patrick Stewert made a cameo in his role as Captain Jean Luc Picard. The episode introduced several new characters, including Commander Benjamin 'Ben' Sisko (Avery Brooks), Constable Odo (Rene Aberjonois), Doctor Julian Bashir (Alexander Siddig), Lt. Jadzia Dax (Terry Farrell), Jake Sisko (Cirroc Lofton), Quark (Armin Shimerman), and Nog (Aron Eisenberg). Felicia M. Bell appeared as Jennifer Sisko, the wife of Ben and mother of Jake, who died in this episode. The events in the episode took place in 2367 and 2369. The show took place at a space station on the edge of a wormhole. The episode also portrayed the Battle of Wolf 359, which previously had only been referred to due to budget restraints. The episode also introduced the Runabouts vehichles. ("Emissary", Deep Space Nine, TV, Event)

The Itoshi Brothers first appearance

We first met Sae when he was in a hotel having an interview about his interest in playing for the Japanese National Team and he said a big NO. We learned that he's a New Gen Eleven and that he plays in Europe for Real Madrid.
Then we saw him reacting to Anri's speech and waking his interest up about the BL project.

The first time we met Rin is during the second selection where we learn he's the top 1 after the 100 goals and he was first in the room.
Isagi wanted to play against him so he created a team with Nagi and Bachira to play against him.
Who has the best first appearance? Who impressed you the most?

Shi-Long Lang's first on-screen appearance - Seriously, could he have been any more dramatic than this? I love him!
And a great way to demonstrate one of the core aspects of his character: How much he values and trusts his subordinates, that they're all important to him as individuals on a personal level. Counting everyone as "1" is totally impractical but that just makes it even sweeter because he insists on it anyway as it's so important to him that no one feels less than a number "1". (He even refers to them as "[his] cubs" which is weirdly adorable.) Given that, it's very easy to understand why they, in turn, idolize him so much. From everything we see I think it'd be pretty cool to work for Shi-Long, he seems like a truly awesome boss.
And a perfectly fitting detail to that: The group of background officers we see during this counting off all look different from each other (different hair, eyes, mouth, glasses, etc.). Some of them even have different expressions during this scene. I do remember the slightly different outfits from the DS version as there are a few different ranks here but all the details to the facial expressions and faces were added for the Collection and I love that they went to the trouble of doing this just for this scene. They could've done the easy thing of just copying the same look over and over but they didn't and especially with the context of this scene being that everyone is a valuable individual that's a wonderful way to reinforce that. (I especially like the guy in the top left who just looks so happy to be here! And I have to point out the one on the bottom right as well because he's actually sleeping throughout this! How dare you sleep when Shi-Long Lang is talking?!)
I do wonder what Shi-Long was doing in the saloon before this scene though. Preparing his entrance? Probably investigating it. That would've been an awesome location to see, honestly.
And I'm going to make a compilation post about this at some point but I just need to say it: God, I adore Shi-Long's animations! Especially in this amazing quality! He's absolutely gorgeous, handsome, beautiful, everything and I love him!! 💖

Today is the Joker's 85th anniversary, having appeared all the way back in 1940 with Batman #1. To commemorate the occasion, here's one of my all-time favorite Joker moments. These two panels cut the core of what makes the character work and the primary reason why, in my eyes, there hasn't been a truly great Joker story in well over a decade. It's about time someone put the clown back in the clown prince of crime. *Sigh* Regardless, dreadful birthday, dear Joker!

Allumos redesign because why not
#I kinda mixed his s4 and s5 design bc I think the change in appearance was a little jarring#the left one is when he’s facing the King of Dragons or whatever. middle is a current outfit during s5 and the right one is how he looks on#first appearance#cuz he wants to be a silly and mysterious#legit the fandom forgets about how batshit this man acts in s4. even in a little of s5#MAKE HIM CRAZY#MAKE HIM MANIC#HE IS CRAZZYYYYY#Also he used his dragon magic so much during the war he began to look more like one#bc that’s how it works. totally (/sarcasm)#I have a lot to say about him lol. including his relationship with Blake bc those two just hate eachother so casually it’s so funny#fairy tail origins#fto#allumos fto

Captain Boomerang, also known as George "Digger" Harkness, made his first appearance in The Flash (Vol. 1) #117 in December 1960, created by writer John Broome and artist Carmine Infantino.

Welcome to my account, where my objective will be creating an Archive about Captain Boomerang! In order to achieve this, I will be posting daily content about him, which can be screenshots from comics, random facts and other appearances in comics.
You can also find me on Twitter / X.
Now, a more personal note:
Digger is one of my favorite characters and I am heavily interested in how his character has developed within the years. However, some weird decisions by some writers has also made him a very misunderstood character. I want to show people who don't know much about the character the different characterizations that he has been through and understand why he's an interesting villain, but also enjoy him with other Captain Boomerang fans. I hope this journey is a fun one, alongside people who are just discovering about him and also long-time fans. I intend to represent every phase of the character with respect and comprehension and if I'm wrong about a fact please say it, I put a lot of effort in investigating but also understand that I am human and I can make mistakes. English is also not my first language, so please have this in mind too.
With this being said, I am really happy about creating this account, which has been in my mind for weeks now, and I'm really happy I finally created it. See you soon, and remember that the boomerang always comes back🪃
