Happy Halfway to Halloween and THANK YOU!!! To everyone who participated in HELLAWEEN Week, whether you drew something every day, just once or left a review. I had such a great time seeing what you made and reading all of your reviews. Ya'll really showed up for a spooky time in the middle of spring. AND YES, 50 of you left book reviews through the course of the last seven days unlocking my new one-shot comic "Oh, Worm?" featuring the Helsings, Hiro and Bea!

It'll be posted to my socials over a few days starting Monday, then available to download for free on my KoFi shop.

Hello, everyone! Now that the interest check poll is closed, I am pleased to announce the dates for the Aylin/Isobel fanweek: January 27th to February 2nd, 2025.

Fanfiction, fanart, fanmixes, meta, edits, and all other forms of participation are welcome, as are NSFW works.

Please post your works, or links to externally hosted works, here on tumblr and tag them with #aylinisobelweek2025 for visibility. This blog will be reblogging and collecting all of them.

In order to give you as much time as possible to get ready and decide what you'd like to do, here are the themes and prompts for all 7 days of the event. The first list is a set of canon-referencing daily themes, while the other gives you four words a day to serve as inspiration. Feel free to mix and match as you see fit, and use the prompts in whatever way suits you best. Have fun!

Welcome to Fiyeraba February 2025! Fiyeraba February is a fan month dedicated to all things Fiyeraba!

There will be two prompts for every week and weekend. The only thing needed to participate in the event is to post you’re Fiyeraba works in the month of February and tag them with “Fiyeraba February” and/or “Fiyeraba February 2025” on tumblr or add them to the collection on AO3!

* The prompts are for inspiration, you don’t have to follow them and it’s totally okay if you miss some!

* There are two prompts per week/weekend, if one doesn’t really work for you don’t have to use it! You can create different works for each prompt or combine them into one giant Fiyeraba work or something in between, whatever floats your boat!

* All Fiyeraba fan works are allowed. You can make drabbles or 100k+ word epics, you can create quick sketches or paint the cystine chapel, you can make meta, gifs, a knitted sweater or anything else you want featuring Fiyeraba!

Additional information about each of the day's prompts:

Day 1 - Fake relationship/Flirting:

The works can depict how guys enter into fake relationships to save each other, solve case or for some reason, which inevitably leads to genuine feelings and dramatic revelations.

The plot of the work is focused on how Charles and Edwin flirt with each other. This can be flirting in danger, so-called “flirting under fire,” or some casual flirting.

A work in which a significant part of the plot contains one character flirting with the aim of getting the attention of another. Put the guys in circumstances where they will have to flirt a little.

Day 2 - Songfic:

These could be works based on a song that evokes associations with Charles and Edwin.

Works could include lyrics that could be inserted between parts of the story. The song could be woven into the story of the narrative or the song in question could be in the plot in some way.

This could be a work about the boys listening to a song or dancing to a song, maybe there is a song with which they associate memories. You can use all your imagination!

Day 3 - Accidental kiss/Magic kiss:

Nothing is more embarrassing and exciting at the same time than an accidental kiss. An accidental kiss can happen in a variety of situations, often due to a rush of emotion, lack of coordination, or unexpected movements. Quick or unexpected movements, such as a sharp turn or reaching for something at the same time, can lead to accidental contact and a brief kiss. Perhaps one of the guys is saving the other and accidentally, unknowingly kisses him in a rush of emotion.

Some kisses are so sweet they seem like magic, but some kisses are truly magical. The power of love in its purest form. A magical kiss has some kind of supernatural effect that either binds or releases from a spell, for good or ill.

The work may focus on how one of the guys needs to kiss the other to break a curse or save the other.

Day 4 - Forced proximity/Bound together: 

The work could focus on Edwin and Charles being forced into a closet, a closet, or any space that is very small. They could be trapped under a spell or something else, which creates romantic tension. The forced intimacy forces characters who would otherwise not declare their feelings to do so, pushing the characters to their emotional limits, setting the stage for conflict, passion, and ultimately deep emotional connections. 

The work makes a big deal out of the fact that Charles and Edwin are bound together in some way from which they cannot easily break free: magically, psychically, physically, or otherwise. You can imagine them getting into all sorts of sticky situations, or, conversely, acting surprisingly easy. The usual result of all this one-on-one "bonding" time is that they become aware of their feelings.

Day 5 - Love potion/Love spell:

The work involves a magical potion that makes the drinker fall in love. An accidental potion consumption that leads to unplanned romantic chaos. This could be a story about one guy drinking a love potion and the other having to deal with the aftermath, or the love potion not working as intended. Perhaps Charles and/or Edwin are under the influence of the potion and their journey involves sorting out true feelings from those induced by the potion.

Your works could focus on Charles or Edwin falling under a love spell, which could have funny or unpleasant side effects, leading to dramatic and emotional moments.

Day 6 - Touch Starvation/Mutual pining:

Starved for touch, you will feel that even a simple touch, the touch of a fingertips, can feel like a sip of cool water after a day in the sun and it can make you melt, and it can scare you with how much you want to hug someone, how much you want to hold someone's hand or sit side by side or just exist next to someone. The works can focus on how Charles or Edwin experiences a longing for affection through physical touch.

The plot of the work focuses on how the boys are in love with each other but yearn for each other and may not initially realize that their feelings are mutual, each of them convinced that the other person will not reciprocate their feelings or at least not to the same extent.

Are there good reasons why they are kept apart or is it uncertainty about how their feelings will be received.

Day 7 - Free day:

Free day for all works that do not fit with any of the themes.

This event will be running for TEN DAYS, July 1st-10th! Each day will have a theme to follow, and you can create fanfiction, fanart, or any other kind of creative project!
