I'm so exhausted but had fun hosting my first stream; I want to come back next year and do it again! Thank you to people who showed up to hang out, I appreciated seeing @gardening--tools @radbeetle @daisyprayers and @unrepentantweirdo in the chat, that meant a lot! If I missed your name it's not on purpose; I just uh. Was learning how to stream and manage a chat in real time! What's funny about my writing vs real life me is I sound real smart over text, but it's only because being behind a screen lets me organize my thoughts; I'm really a pirate gremlin shitposter with a lot of dad jokes. I'm flattered by the compliments I received for my voice and audio quality - I saw a suggestion that I should try voice acting and I'm pretty much soaring right now. My brain is fried. Most of all I'm happy to have made new friends and to support a great cause <3

do you use any kind of mods to enhance the eyes of your skyrim characters, other than your cube maps? i'm thinking mods such as eye normal map fix, ilygaid eye improver or improved eye reflections and cube map. love your content!

No mods, all eyes are custom made with specific characters in mind, but you could call my eyecube a mod.

You could try the textures (diffuses, normal, env, cube) I'm shipping with my female textures, those are very close to what i have in my game. You could also use mr dave's eye normal fix (with any other texture mod), but i don't recommend anything from the illygaid and fadingsignal's eye stuff (especially the normals).

Eh, if you want more eye colors, you could try improved eyes skyrim and eyes of beauty. And the eyes from fair skin complexion. Those were my go tos before.

Also a tip: don't use bumpy normals a-la illygaid or van gogh's eyes. The eye shader is primitive in this game, and by using those normal maps you're getting a mess. The eyes roughly are spheres, and the irises shouldn't have so much of a say in the shading.

Another tip: avoid sharp edges of irises a-la black halo as the border between the iris and the sclera, prefer that border blurred and blended.

And basically this is my sorta-kinda eye setup.

General Game Mods:

Cheat Terminal - NexusAU

Used to spawn unlimited workshop materials and clutter used to decorate.

Environment Mods Used:

True Storms - Fadingsignal

Used to control weather for easier building and filming, used to change weather from stormy to clear.

Green in the Commonwealth - Gadogred

Used to change the post-apocalyptic look into a grassy meadow.

Clean & Smooth: Starlight Drive-In - Okie1682

Used to make a flatter more clean surface to build on, also repaired a lot of damage done to the drive-in.

Clean Water of the Commonwealth - Feyawen

Used to clear the water of dirty and radiation.

Dense Grass Mod - Spring in the Commonwealth - Foreverasir

Used to amplify the appearance of the Green mod, creates a more dense grass texture.

Workshop Mods:

Place Anywhere - Registrator2000

Used to configure snapping and collision settings, allowed me to hide all generators and electrical junctions under ground or in the ceiling.

Used to place items closer to walls and other objects for a more streamlined look.

Used to place items on ground or floor when world collision wasn’t allowing me to place foundation and floor tiles.

Used to manipulate scale/position of items such as the workbench that would otherwise be unable to be moved or manipulated.

No Build Limit - StormLord

Used to lift the limit on building, allowing for larger amounts of items and large builds.

Item Manipulation:

USO Base Game - ANDREWCX

Unlocked settlement objects, allowing me access to items in game for more variety.

Also allowed me access to texture changes in chairs and tables, as well as retextures for items allowing for a more pre-war look.

Do It Yourshelf - Dinozaurz

Allowed me to create a more lived in look with snapping bookcases/shelves/items. Really handy to make a place more lived in. Also has a container category to make the shelf into a drawer of sorts. Really useful to save space and be more organized.

She made it a super cosy and atmospheric settlement, ready for you to build in. It also comes with a player home that’s a pre furnished house boat,  for you to kick back in and wait out those pesky radstorms :D (This mod is still a WIP, so things might change) This video is a guide to the settlement I made before I started building in it. There is also some clips with Nate from the  Dual Survivors mod ^___^
