The actual Internal Revenue Service, who survived the bombs and never stopped collecting taxes because that's something the IRL IRS is actually planning for.

Thought of a funny fallout meme that I'll draw later. It would look something like this, all the fallout protagonist are at a campfire asking each other's question and then (also yes I noticed I used the wrong were, I created this meme in like 2 minutes)

For the ones who don't get it. Most fallout protagonist have relatively normal end boss except the ones from fallout 1 and 2.

The vault dweller (fallout 1 protagonist) had to face the master. The master is the amalgamated flesh and spirit of several people fused to a bunch of electronics by the FEV, making a Schizophrenic biomechanical horror with psychic powers.

The chosen one (fallout protagonist) had to fight Frank Horrigan. Frank horrigan is a 14ft tall human mutated with FEV and a power armor grafted to his body with a 10 in every S.P.E.C.I.A.L stats. I'd say that canonically, he is easily the strongest character. Imagine someone dwarfing the Legat Lanius, with power armor grafted to his body, plasma rifles integrated into his arms, and an undying fevor for the Enclave. It is stated by the devs themselves that Frank Horrigan is only beatable because a game that you cannot win is not fun.

Scout I cannot wait (excitement, not pressure) for you to pirate and watch the fallout show so you can post about it the only people on my dash who are talking about it are focused on lore discrepancies instead of like…is it good and entertaining.

it brings me no happiness to tell you i am enjoying it quite a lot.

started last night with two episodes and so far it has been a very cleverly written and dedicated adaptation. it's less Serious Drama and more Pulpy B-Movie. and it's very funny too, but in a way that is consistent with the world of fallout's vibe.

there are several main characters, and i've noticed that all of them have been representative of different playstyles people tend to take when playing. and the in-world logic is so consistent with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat system that i can roughly sense what a characters stats are from the feats they perform over just a few scenes.

it's not lore accurate, no. most egregious thing ive seen so far is more of bethesda trying to make the power armor into a badass iron man suit. that shit CANNOT fly around like that.

but also, i was not horribly offended by the scenes in which a character has been shown to use it to fly around.

nonetheless, at least as someone who really enjoyed fallout 4, i am enjoying the fallout show.

if you want to watch it you shouldn't do it legally.
