Just randomly thinking about that interview where Alain says they weren't exactly friends but friendly and then he says but very close, and then the interviewer asks if perhaps Ayrton saw him as an "older brother" and Alain immediately shakes his head and he is like "no, not that". Then the interviewer really tries for Alain to define what the fuck they were to each other and Alain only says they had gotten close.

I think it's also the interview where he calls him "so attractive"

"I've been looking everywhere for you sweetheart." The man rumbles, the words vibrating against your fingertips where they rest against his muscular chest. He smiles down at you and somewhere deep down you feel something break open that you thought was locked away long ago.

And as you stand there looking up at the man you thought you'd never see again, you feel a flicker of something that could grow into a blaze.

You stand there in the silence that follows the words of your soulmate, the rough vibration of his voice still trembling through your fingertips where they lay against his chest, as you stare up into his hypnotic green eyes. The sunlight that streams in from the windows at you back traces the hardened edges of his handsome face turning his dark hair a honeyed brown. A smile pulls at the end of his lips, crinkling his eyes, and bringing a softness to the rugged features that make your heart beat quicken.

He was the most beautiful man you’d ever seen and yet nothing what you’d expected. You briefly wonder if you were what he expected, but judging from the women you'd seen him with in his memories you weren't, given that you looked nothing like them.

The air around the both of you warms as electricity pops and crackles along your skin skittering against the flesh and bringing goosebumps in its wake. A wave of heat travels from where Ben's hand is gently cupping your chin in his calloused fingertips, that makes you feel like you're melting from the inside out...

Over 20 years ago I wrote a book about my broken home and running away to live in London. For reasons of privacy I changed all the names and turned my own character into a goth boy named Jamie. The "B." comes from my own last name. After friends read the script they started calling me Jamie. Even my own sister. For years. I still have mail in that name. Last November someone told me about this guy that "looks like you" and he kept showing up in my IG suggestions. I researched and found out that his name is Jamie B. as well, and I found photos over photos of him where he looks like me at different stages in my life. Like this one. I knew eventually I was going to have to meet him and see what this is all about. And now we did meet, and then even again later that same day when fate seated us next to each other on a train to Paris where I live part-time. In the same neighbourhood he frequents too, and that is featured in many of his own photos. We talked about Paris and I even showed him the original manuscript of my book and the side-by-side photos and he said "This is so wild". We even have the same mannerisms. I gave him a ring and he was still wearing it last Saturday. I wonder how many times through the years and in how many cities we may have crossed paths, without meeting. Until now.

This is kinda like a vent piece but i rly love how it turned out, i was testing out a new pencil brush pack and i mixed it with a watercolor one just like how i used to do when i used to do traditional art
