hey, guess what— I spent 60$ so I could make this edit. (Without a huge watermark, that is.)
(ALSO the only recording program I could find that reliably records Netflix only lets you record one minute of footage for free.)
I haven’t made any edits in uuuuuuuh a while. At least a year? But 6 years ago, when I was originally in my Jakotsu phase, I could only imagine making edits, so I owe it to 15-year-old me, I think.
I’ve also got another Jakotsu edit that I haven’t added text to (yet). I have a year worth of this program so I guess I have to make a lot of IY edits, possibly for other characters.
#inuyasha#jakotsu#Edits#anime amv#anime edits#Band of seven#shichinintai#greysha#(that’s the artist)#wondershare filmora#(that’s the program)#(I don’t recommend it lmao)#it works good but the 60$ I paid was //just// to get rid of the enormous watermark and it’s temporary#they don’t offer anything else like other programs#basically all the cool effects I used in this are from a free trial for a separate subscription that’s 100$/year or 30$/month

The video will be out tomorrow, Thursday at the latest!

Here it is! Please spread the word wherever you can, and of course, please participate!
#you can blame capitalism for it not being out earlier#wondershare filmora used to be the best program to edit in for free#now they plaster such a huge logo on an exported video that I had to start screen recording everything#BUT of course when I do that I can't have too many layers or the image and sound lag#so I have to put extra time into making sure it's as smooth as possible#and also I'll be adding captions for the english parts as well so it's easier for everyone to watch#but I'm quite busy tomorrow so I don't know how much of it I'll get done#OnlyOneOf#onlyoneof fan project#a rOar Of lyOn pride

hypnotic data - love&deepspace
i think this song really suits the tomorrow's catch-22 banner so i made an edit.
TRIGGER WARNING : FLASHING, GLITCHING, LOTS OF COLORS, kind of chaotic to match the themes yk the whole cyberpunk/cybergoth thing going on
youtube
dark circles rim my eyes as i type this (they never left but darkened further let's go). i let the odecore consume me. it's also okay for me to mention i made this on the free version (not trial) of filmora 14 (cheated the godforsaken watermark using 9:16 ratio but i had to go to another platform to enhance quality sighh). im never using filmora again. but i had to do it for this song. i love it sm

For tablet, I use a Wacom Intuos Draw CTL-490 white tablet, I have had this bad boy since 2018, this things are very good and durable! 10/10
And for program, I use FireAlpaca! (it's free and very complete imo) for editing I use CapCut and sometimes Filmora

Its been awhile since I did anything for Helluva boss, so I made this Fizzblitz edit. This is my first time doing an edit, so I'm not sure if I did it right.
This was made by both Capcut and Filmora. I was gonna make the full thing in Capcut, but then it got banned in the US (I know its not banned anyone), and then when it got unbanned the company started making everything PRO. Features that were originally free, and should be free, were now blocked behind a paywall. So I exported what I had and did the text in Filmora, which was ALSO a big pain in the ass because ,a lot of the texts that I wanted to use, cause the style fit with what I wanted, I couldn't use not because they were premium, but because every time I tried to download them it would crash the entire program. So that was fun. So a lot of the text fonts look really weird with what's going on in the background and I apologize.
The song I used I think fits these two really well. I haven't decided whether or not to post this on my Youtube channel, one because the song is copyrighted, and two my channel hasn't been doing well. I've been working on an animation to post but lately I've just been so tired and unmotivated to do anything and I keep procrastinating. Hopefully I can get it done soon, cause I have other things I wanna do.
Also sorry if the footage is blurry, I recorded it on my phone cause I'm not paying money to download the videos.
But anyway, hope the Fizzblitz fans enjoy the video.

What do you recommend to start editing?
I am so so so sorry but I'm literally the worst person to ask that. My uncle was a graphic designer and he taught me how to use Adobe programs when I was like, 12, and I kinda just kept evolving from that initial knowledge, so I kinda just been messing around with video and photo editing for more than half my life and I developed an instinct for what works for me. I also used every editing tool ever from windows movie maker to sony vegas to premiere and aftereffects, until I settled with the filmora one, but I kinda stumbled into it because I got gifted a lifetime licence and it happened to have the same shortcuts as a software I was learning in uni for cgi, and I kinda just transfered the stuff I was learning, so I don't really know how I would start now.
That being said, I think the most important thing is for you to find a software that works for you. So I think getting a scenepack and getting a couple free trials and seeing what you adapt to would be the best place to start. Adobe will be the thing with the most functions and tutorials out there but it's a monthly subscription or a very annoying process to pirate it, capcut has a lot of templates and stuff, it also has a desktop app, so it could also be something to look into, I have a friend who makes really good ones there. Filmora is the one I use and it is more limited but it lets you work with different audio and video tracks and has a lot of options for color treating in a more intuitive way, but I don't know how the process of pirating it would be in recent years and it is kinda pricey. I also use davinci a lot, I made the supercuts there, it's good to work with video and audio, but I personally have issues with doing text in it, it also needs a bit more power on your computer, but it is completely free so that's a big bonus if your computer can handle it. I think the best way to try and start would be trying out stuff until you find a software that works for you.
#I did learn mostly on a trying until I figure it out so I don't know how to pass that on#I'm sorry 😔#i really need a tag for asks#anon 😌

excuse me,may i ask
What's your app for editing videos
(im dont have much free time,so I may reply your answer later time)
I use multiple programs for making my edits, such as - Paintdotnet for making a pre-animated version of the edit - Wallpaper Engine for the animation - Audacity to edit the audio, if it's required - and Wondershare Filmora X to put the whole edit together

Not an OC question but more a Producer question:
Is there any video editing programs you recommend for making PVS for songs?
i'm learning how to use after effects (which is different than your usual video editing program) currently, so if you wanna make more robust and detailed pvs its a good thing to learn, otherwise premiere is good! though obv... if u can avoid it.... don't give adobe your money ;) if you dont know how to Not Give Money to Adobe... some other ones are davinci resolve or wondershare filmora if you want something free/cheap to get the hang of video editing itself because a lot of video editing programs tend to follow a similar layout/concept, but note that davinci in particular is- while good- really buggy lol

i absolutely love your channel and you've inspired me to start my own <3 i was wondering what you use to record/edit, thank you so much
hi anon <3
thank you so much for being so nice :)! I use OBS to record, and filmora to edit ( i do have to say that filmora is a bit expensive, and I wish I could recommend something cheaper/free. but I don't know of any good editing programs for windows that are free/cheaper.. :') )
#anon asks#I want to wish you the best of luck with your channel#and I hope you'll have a ton of fun with it :)!
