The greatest love triangle in the Switch Zelda games
Is not between Link, Zelda and Mipha. It is these three
Tumblr media
Hear me out.
Paya and Tauro are already a fairly popular ship in the fandom, with mild basis in canon (more on that later). What fewer people bring up is Tauro's other not-so-secret admirer: The humble (Dr!) Calip.
This man is known best for two things: being the nuisance stopping us from even just looking in the direction of the floating ring ruin until its quest, and, more relevant here, his nigh obnoxious ego. All he strives for is fame and recognition, yet in the midst of his self-aggrandazing ramblings, he expresses admiration for one man only: Tauro. Here's what he writes in his diary (found next to his bed, in his room that he happens to share with Tauro)
Tumblr media
As self-absorbed as Calip is, he deigns Tauro to be worthy of his admiration, meaning he holds Tauro in high regard. However, an unexpected competitor vies for Tauro's attention: enter Paya.
The newly appointed Kakariko chief starts to learn about the Zonai ruins for the sake of her people, and becomes unexpectedly good at it. It is implied that Tauro spends a fair bit of time teaching her and assisting her with research, culminating in Paya learning to read Zonai script. This, well, does not sit well with Calip, as he cannot stand the idea of Tauro's precious praise going to another. Here's an exchange that happens when Link shows them a photo of the Zonai inscriptions inside the floating ring ruins, and Paya deciphers a word that left even Tauro stumbled:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Calip's response: jealousy at Tauro praising another, especially Calip's greatest rival!
So Calip proceeds to promptly put Paya back in her place by instead deducting that the place the script is referring to must be the Zonai Ruins in Faron. When Tauro praises him in turn, Calip exceedingly gloats about this, even attempting to turn the word "fantastic" into a pet phrase between him and his most admired person
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alas, Calip may have lost the race already. For you see, Tauro seems to have set eyes on someone else. This detail is already somewhat known, but when looking above Tauro's bed in Kakariko (and we know it is Tauro's bed because of the extra cushions to compensate for his size), something interesting hangs on the wall
Tumblr media
A portrait of Paya.
Tumblr media
And we know it is Paya because of the red Sheikah eye, the red ribbons, and even the red eye make-up all matching Paya perfectly.
Tumblr media
Now why would Tauro have a picture of Paya, somebody he spent a great deal of time with studying ancient relics they are both passionate about, someone he (by his own words) greatly admires, hanging above his bed? So she may watch over his dreams?
My condolences Calip, but it seems Tauro and Paya would indeed make a fantastic couple.

Look- you're smart, strong and independent, right? There is absolutely no reason you can't put pads on your van yourself. Brake jobs are the biggest ripoff ever. Find a youtube video that shows how, best if it's for your specific vehicle since they're all different. Auto parts stores have cheap brake pads, get them. No more than $35 for a front set. Front way more important than rear but do rears too if they're super thin. Any specialized tools that might be needed (such as a caliper compressor kit) can be bought and returned (essentially rented for free) by most large chain stores (NAPA, Autozone, Advance, etc) Some basic tools will be needed. Harbor Freight has inexpensive kits. Rotors: Only if the rotors are absolutely shot do you replace them. Don't bother with "turning" or machining them, even if they're grooved up some. Put the pads on and go. I just did the rears on my car for $35, the fronts I did a couple years ago, was about $50 iirc. If shops are gonna fuck me, I'm gonna fuck them back by doing it myself. You can do it.
We don't have a jack capable of lifting a Ford "e350 econoline super duty." Buying all the tools would mean we wouldn't have to buy them for the next car but like, we very much do not have the tools. And I'm not sure we have the money to buy those tools rn. We're floating around 1000 and she clearly doesn't want to dip into what money she was given to get a new car. Idk. We got a socket set to replace her broken seat belt, she was able to replace that herself cheaply with the tools and going to a Pick N Pull. But uh. Yeah. Don't think we can do that one ourselves. Idk. We really just want to like, have smth else as a daily driver and or get rid of it. Idk.

The other reason Rakha probably didn't kill Omeluum is she has been super distracted by the idea of going to find the noblestalk ever since Derryth mentioned it had memory-restoring powers. So our last bit of business before heading off to Grymforge is to go find that.
She asks Derryth more about the mushroom, of course, because she has no idea what it looks like or how to find it. Derryth absolutely gives some askance looks at Glut tagging along behind during the whole process.
Equipped with the necessary knowledge, Rakha remembers having seen a mushroom of the type back where they found Baelen. Ironic, given that Derryth is so angry at Baelen for not having found it, and it was right nearby. Works out well for Rakha, though, who has every intention of using it herself rather than letting Derryth take it.
Tumblr media
"I'm not sure about this," Shadowheart says doubtfully. "We've seen these things go off. This seems like a fine recipe for a tremendous explosion."
"You say that like Rakha is deterred by tremendous explosions," Wyll points out under his breath with a flash of a grin.
"I'm just saying... as the one who will undoubtedly have to heal you up afterwards, I want it noted that I lodged a formal objection."
Rakha doesn't respond, but twists a hand, mutters a few words under her breath, and vanishes.
As she appears on the other side of the cavern, the entire place immediately erupts in bibberbang fumes. Baelen's torch, still burning somewhere within, catches them alight at once, and there is a tremendous, rattling explosion of flame in all directions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Slowly, the fumes and the flames fade from the peak of the explosion, revealing Rakha huddled against the wall, her body hunched over, protecting the small purple mushroom she is holding. Her robes are singed and her back and head terribly burnt... but the noblestalk is intact.
Shadowheart sighs. "What did I tell you?" she says to no one in particular.
-----
(A/N: Hilariously, there's no option to ungroup Glut or move it to track a different person, so it casually burbled into the mushroom field after Rakha, helped everything get set off, and took about 50% of its health in damage.)
Several healing spells later, Rakha leans against the wall of the cavern and looks at the mushroom in her hand. It has no smell at first, but where her fingernails have punctured its skin, it emits a medicinal smell, something like the healing potions they carry in their packs. It's a deep purple color, spongy to the touch. Unthreatening.
So why does she suddenly feel so uneasy? The eagerness has drained away suddenly, leaving only a vague feeling of dread.
Wyll watches her. "You don't have to eat it if you don't want to, you know," he says gently.
She grips her fist around the mushroom suddenly; its skin splits as it cracks in half and that medicinal smell fills the cavern, cloying and overwhelming. She stuffs the mushroom into her mouth and feels its bitter taste sizzle on her tongue....
Tumblr media
Narrator: As you choke down the acrid mushroom, a memory embraces your unlovable carcass...
She can see nothing, hear nothing, for a few long terrible moments. And then her vision clears. She is not in the cavern. She has no companions. She is alone. She has always been alone. She works best alone...
Tumblr media
Narrator: You see a grand collection - shelves of jarred floating pickled organs neatly labeled. Taxidermied beasts and men, elegantly displayed from your killings. A study no doubt arranged neatly by your gentleman's gentlegoblin.
No - not quite alone. Sceleritas is there, wriggling at her elbow as he always does, a novice, a puppy, eager to please but unstudied in the craft of slaughter...
Narrator: As you and your butler perform a vivisection, Sceleritas' claw slips, calipers cutting the aorta of the living, screaming victim...
Tumblr media
Precision; she has always demanded precision. A clarity of vision, to take apart the carcass piece by piece in a rising crescendo of agony-- there is a rhythm to it, an artistry. She is a virtuoso, a master beyond mastery. And Sceleritas always falls short in his fumbling attempts to support her.
She watches the blood pour over her hands from the ripped artery, hot and pulsing, smells the iron life fading from the body. Yet another failure. She will not tolerate it.
Tumblr media
Drown the butler in the victim's open bladder-cavity.
Tumblr media
Narrator: His tears mingle in with the golden fountain.
Tumblr media
Narrator: As the memory begins to clear away, one thing is certain - the Butler lies not about his past service.
-----
"Rakha? RAKHA!"
Rakha's vision clears, and she finds herself crouching amid the bibberbang ashes, hunched over, breathing hard. One of her fists is clenched, grinding into the dirt, forcing an invisible head downward, downward.
Wyll has a hand on her shoulder. His voice is in her ear, worried, insistent. "Rakha, d'you hear me?"
She loosens her fist sharply, stands up and backs away. She is trembling all over, her eyes squeezed shut. The image of the vivisected victim lingers, and the sound of Sceleritas's garbled screams as she punished him for failure.
And most clearly of all, the memory of her own thoughts - hard and cold as ever, but with the weight of a lifetime of cruel memory behind them. Already the sense of history is slipping away again, back into blankness... but the memory of that icy cruelty remains, like a frozen blade shoved into her spine.
Who am I? *What* am I? she thinks unsteadily. Where was that place? What did I do there? And why?
"Rakha, are you all right?" Wyll asks. He steps carefully into her field of vision, and she can see the deep concern in his eyes.
Wordlessly she shakes her head. The beast in her head uncurls itself slowly and laughs, and for the first time she hears her own voice in its laughter.

The Caged Tiger | Part 3

CW: forced nudity, medical whump, humiliation, dehumanization, noncon touching (non-sexual)
-----------------------------
Faye dries Ash off and lugs the basin to a drain across the room. When she returns, Ozmund hands her a roll of measuring tape and strange metal calipers; she quickly sets to work detailing every specification of Ash’s body. As she dictates the numbers, a floating quill magically transcribes them in Ozmund’s book. At one particularly embarrassing measurement, Ash can hear Ozmund mutter under his breath, "I always wondered if it was barbed . . . "
When Faye is finished with her work, Ozmund saunters over and places two cold fingers against Ash's jugular; after a minute of stern silence staring at his pocket watch, he moves his hand to Ash’s sternum and continues to focus intently. In such close proximity, his spice-laden perfume stings Ash's nose. He tries to quell the trembling beneath his skin—the last thing he wants is to show fear—but even his teeth are chattering against his locked jaw.
“Respiration and pulse are elevated,” Ozmund dictates to Faye—or perhaps his magic quill? Ash isn’t sure. Unperturbed, Ozmund jams a finger in Ash’s mouth, pulling up his lip to expose his gums and teeth. Ash is too stunned to even be offended. “Gums are pink and”—he pokes at them—“react appropriately to stimuli. Teeth, though excessively worn, indicate an omnivorous diet. Canines are defined and enlarged; we’ll have to get a mold of those later. Surprisingly little sign of disease.”
He shakes his hand after removing it from Ash’s face, a glimmer of green magic fluttering in its wake. His book returns to his hand, and he tucks it securely under his arm.
“Tidy up and sanitize everything, please, Faye. He seems dehydrated; give him a vial of Devil’s Herb before you return him to his stall. For now, we’ll maintain the usual feeding cycles and adjust as needed.” Faye nods and gives a polite bow as Ozmund exits the room. He pauses in the doorway, then turns to Ash. “A little extra protein, perhaps. You’ll need your strength.”
What the hell just happened? Dumbfounded, Ash is paralyzed in place; he barely notices when Faye approaches him with a small vial of yellow-green liquid.
“It’s not dangerous, I promise,” she assures him, unplugging the cork and holding it to his lips. “It’s just an herbal tonic. We only call it that because it tastes . . . well . . . ”
He can already smell the acrid odor, and every fiber of his being wants to refuse to drink the foul concoction. Ozmund’s threat looms heavily in his mind, though—just stay alive. Surely he wouldn’t kill you this quickly . . . Hesitantly, his jaw quivering with resolve, he accepts the putrid potion. Immediately, his throat tries to reject the piss-flavored horror, but he forces it down, jabbing his elbow into the wall behind him to let out his disgust.
“I know, I know,” Faye quietly apologizes. “It’s an . . . acquired taste. But it’ll help you sleep and stay healthy.” As kind as she’s been to him, Ash is glad his voice left him long ago; if it hadn’t, he’s sure he would say something he’d regret.
As instructed, Faye unlatches his chain from the wall and leads him back into the small enclosure. He notices a pile of soft hay has been placed at one end—there’s even a modest woolen blanket and a set of rough cotton clothes. Faye redresses him in the fresh clothing, then attaches the chain to a low ring by the hay. From such a low position, his movement is restricted; he can’t stand all the way upright or reach the door. Before leaving to continue her work, Faye sets a tray in front of him. Raw meat is stacked in a surprising quantity beside a bowl of thick vegetable stew and a heel of bread. Surprisingly . . . hearty, for a prisoner. And yet, the only water offered to him is in a small trough attached to the wall.
The dichotomy gives him whiplash—on the one hand, Faye treats him quite a lot like a human, capable of reason and deserving of pity, at the least; on the other, Ozmund seems to view him as purely a beast, kept in a stall like a horse and forced to crawl on his hands. Ash doesn’t even want to dwell on the humiliating examination he’d been put through.
But then, Ozmund hasn’t been quite as cruel as he expected, either. Why hasn’t he hurt me yet? Other than making me fight Owen, which I would’ve done anyway given the chance. He’s healed me, given me plenty of food . . . What game is he playing? What the hell is he planning? I don’t understand . . .
Curled up in the warm hay, the Devil’s Herb pulls Ash deeper and deeper into unconsciousness. With Ozmund out of the room, his tensed, shaking muscles finally relax, and he falls asleep. In the comforting darkness, pleasant images flash before him, settling on a fantasy he often returns to when he imagines his future: instead of the cold and fearful dungeon, he's warm and safe in his bed, Evius at his side and tiny Zephyr cuddled between them. A family—different than he expected, but exactly what he dreams.

2024 Honda CB650R
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For 24YM Honda’s naked four-cylinder jewel evolves its Neo Sports Café style with a sharp styling update from nose to tail. A brand-new 5-inch TFT screen offers Honda RoadSync connectivity, operated by simplified new 4-way toggle switch. Engine performance is unchanged at 70kW power and 63Nm torque, with an A2 option. The CB650R - alongside the CBR650R super sports bike - will be the first Honda to be offered with the option of Honda E-Clutch technology, which gives the rider choice of automatic clutch operation by simply using the shift pedal. Chassis specification includes Showa SFF-BP USD forks, dual four-piston radial mount front calipers and 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17 tyre combination. Two brand-new paint options and two new colour combinations strike a contemporary chord.
Tumblr media
- Introduction Honda has always thrived on exploring new boundaries – in design as well as engineering. In 18YM, the CB1000R, CB300R and CB125R brought a fresh identity to its naked motorcycle line-up, mixing café racer inspirations with a forward-looking ultra-minimalist look under the ‘Neo Sports Café’ design theme. In 19YM the CB650R joined the family and its combination of cool styling, exhilarating four-cylinder engine performance and light, versatile handling ensured immediate sales success. Building on the momentum, for 21YM it received a major front suspension upgrade, plus a range of detail improvements to enhance comfort, usability and practicality. 24YM is an important year for the CB650R and while updated style and functionality will get attention, this bike – alongside its naked sibling, the CBR650R – will go down in history as the first Honda to be available with Honda E-Clutch technology, which is designed to make motorcycling, from beginner right through to expert, even more enjoyable – and even more exciting. Valerio Aiello, of Honda’s Rome R&D Department on the Neo Sports Café design aesthetic: “The entire current Neo Sport Café range from Honda is the result of the CB4 Concept model presented at EICMA in 2015. Our desire was to explore the world of the café racer and reinterpret it in a modern key. We wanted to create neo-classics – that is, modern motorcycles showcasing classic design styles combined with modern techniques.  I used inspiration from outside the world of motorcycles, in watches. I’ve always liked their technicality and one of the key concepts used during the Neo Sports Café design was 'Mechanical Art'. This is the desire to show the beauty of the various mechanical elements to which Honda has always given great importance.”
Tumblr media
- Model Overview There’s a fresh look to the CB650R’s retro minimalism. A new headlight, radiator shrouds, rider/pillion seat, tail unit and taillight inject a more dynamic energy, while the fuel tank remains a strong presence above the beautiful inline four-cylinder engine. A new 5-inch full colour TFT screen is designed for readability on bright days and features Honda RoadSync connectivity. Managed by a new, easy-to-use 4-way lefthand backlit toggle switch the rider can now enjoy on-screen, turn-by-turn navigation in addition to other smartphone features. Performance is unchanged: 70kw peak power with 63Nm are fun figures for a naked bike,  and the classic in-line 4 cylinder ‘pick-up’ and high-revving top end power are longstanding Honda calling cards. A 35kW option is available for A2 licence holders. Available as an option on the CB650R, the new Honda E-Clutch takes away the need for the rider to use the clutch lever to make a shift either up or down the gearbox. The chassis is as before and a perfect package from city block to twisting back road. A steel diamond frame provides core rigidity while 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD front forks and Showa rear shock deliver high-quality suspension control. Four-piston radial-mount front brake calipers work 310mm floating discs and cast aluminium wheels mount 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17 front and rear tyres. The 24YM CB650R will be available in the following colour options: **NEW** Matt Laurel Green Metallic with Matt Vulcan Silver Metallic details **NEW** Pearl Smokey Gray, with Matt Crypton Silver Metallic details Candy Chromosphere Red with NEW Matt Crypton Silver Metallic details Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic with NEW Matt Crypton Silver Metallic details
Tumblr media
- Key Features 3.1 Styling & Equipment - Neo Sports Café styling evolves dynamically - New 5-inch full colour TFT screen includes Honda RoadSync connectivity for on-screen turn-by-turn navigation and access to other smartphone functions - New, simplified left hand switchgear easy to use and backlit for night-time - All lighting LED; new slanted headlight matched by new taillight design Tightly wrapped, the CB650R’s Neo Sports Café style evolution features the signature compact ‘Trapezoid’ proportion of a new, sharper tail and short-overhang and new slanted LED headlight All other lighting is LED, and a new taillight tucks seamlessly into the new fairing. From the front, via the new radiator shrouds backwards, the overall look is sinuous, more dynamic and with keen sense of purpose. The long fuel tank remains a key motif of the family design; its smooth lines accentuate the solidity of real metal surfaces and crown the engineering of the four-cylinder powerplant. It also houses the ignition. A 35° handlebar angle makes tight, slow-speed turns and U-turns straightforward. The shape of the pillion and rider seats have been revised to match the new tail; seat height remains 810mm. There’s a USB Type-C socket located under the seat. Premium technology – in the form of a brand new, 5-inch full colour TFT screen – uses optical bonding to improve visibility in bright sunlight. By sealing the gap between the cover glass and TFT screen with resin, glare is reduced, and visibility improved. The display itself is customisable between ‘Bar’, ‘Circle’ and ‘Simple’ display patterns and also, for the first time on the CB650R, offers the smartphone connectivity of Honda RoadSync. Honda RoadSync – alongside a new simplified, easy-to-use, backlit 4-way toggle-switch on the left handlebar – allows straightforward, on-screen turn-by-turn navigation as well as the option (via a Bluetooth helmet headset) for the rider to make calls, listen to music or receive voice feedback of weather conditions. All an owner has to do is download the free Honda RoadSync app from either the Play Store or the App Store, connect to the CB650R, and go.
Tumblr media
3.2 Chassis - 41mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks  - Four-piston, radial-mount front brake calipers and floating discs - 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17 front and rear tyres The steel diamond frame uses pressed swingarm pivot plates and twin elliptical spars with a rigidity balance specifically tuned (stiffer around the headstock and more flexible in the spar sections) to deliver excellent all-round handling characteristics with high levels of rider feedback. Rake is set at 25.5° with trail of 100mm and wheelbase of 1,450mm. Kerb weight is 205kg (207kg E-Clutch). Showa’s 41mm Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD forks offer high-quality reaction. A pressure separation damper in one fork tube and spring mechanism in the other deliver high damping performance and lighter weight. Together with the use of a larger sized piston, the result is increased feel, bump absorption and control. Adjustable for 10-stage spring preload, the single-tube monoshock operates directly on the curvaceous gravity die-cast aluminium swingarm. Four-piston radial-mount front brake calipers work 310mm floating discs, and are paired with a single-piston rear caliper and 240mm disc. The ABS is a two-channel system. Cast aluminium wheels mount 120/70-ZR17 and 180/55-ZR17 front and rear tyres.
Tumblr media
3.3 Engine - 70kW peak power with 63Nm peak torque - 35kW A2 licence option available - Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) The 649cc, DOHC 16-valve engine is unchanged for 24YM. It’s tuned to create the purest, most enjoyable mid-sized four-cylinder performance possible, with the classically fast ‘pick-up’ through the rev range and hard-hitting, high-revving top end for which Honda’s in-line fours are renowned. Peak power of 70kW arrives @ 12,000rpm with peak torque @ 63Nm delivered at 9,500 rpm. A 35kW option is available for A2 licence holders. Direct cam actuation makes for a compact cylinder head; bore and stroke is set at 67mm x 46mm with compression ratio raised of 11.6:1. Iridium spark plugs are employed and twin air ducts – either side of the fuel tank – feed the airbox and produce a throaty intake roar. Asymmetric piston skirts minimise bore contact and reduce friction. Ferrous spines on the outer surface of the cylinder sleeves reduce oil consumption (and friction) with improved heat transfer and a silent SV cam chain reduces frictional losses by using a Vanadium coating on its pins. Internal water channelling from cylinder head to cylinders does away with most of the exterior hoses. The engine uses a compact internal architecture, stacked six-speed gearbox and starter layout with the cylinders canted forward 30°. An assist/slipper clutch eases upshifts while managing rear-wheel lock up under hard braking and rapid downshifts. Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) manages rear wheel traction; it can be turned off should the rider choose. Fuel consumption of 20.4km/l (WMTC mode) gives a range of over 300km from the 15.4L fuel tank. EURO5 compliant, environmental efficiency has been updated with revisions to the ECU and catalyser, as well as the addition of an OBD2-2 sensor.
Tumblr media
- Honda E-Clutch - see separate post - World-first technology allows the rider to start, stop and change gear without using the clutch lever – just the shift pedal - Available as an option from new; system adds 2kg to kerb weight - Honda E-Clutch also allows normal operation of the clutch lever - Brings more enjoyment and flexibility across a wide range of scenarios, for a ‘next level’ riding experience Honda E-Clutch takes elements of the technology and performance of quickshifters, manually-operated clutches and Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission technology to create a unique blend of these well-proven approaches, opening up a whole new aspect of the motorcycling experience for riders of every type and experience level. The clutch and transmission hardware themselves are no different from a conventional motorcycle, with the ultra-compact system weighing only 2 kilograms. In operation, Honda E-clutch is simplicity itself, taking away the need to use the clutch lever to make a shift either up or down the gearbox. The rider simply has to operate the shift pedal for ultra-fast, consistent gear changes, bringing extra enjoyment to sporty riding. The clutch lever is also not needed when pulling away or coming to a stop. Becoming active as soon as the engine is switched on, the system manages both scenarios smoothly, while taking away the possibility of the engine stalling when in operation, providing extra convenience and peace of mind to town riding involving frequent starts and stops.
Tumblr media
In addition to enjoyment and convenience, Honda E-Clutch brings ultimate flexibility. Should the rider wish, they are able to operate the clutch lever as normal at any time. When the clutch lever is used, the Honda E-clutch system will re-activate after less than a second above a certain engine rpm; after 5 seconds at lower engine speeds. Should the rider wish to turn off the system for a particular ride, this is also possible via the switchgear on the left handlebar. The change to manual operation is indicated by a letter ‘M’ on the instrument panel. The Honda E-Clutch also allows the rider to select an ‘operation feel’ to set the strength of the force required on the shift pedal to make a gear change. Three settings are available: HARD, MEDIUM, and SOFT, each of which can be chosen independently for upshifting and downshifting. The technology will also advise the rider to shift down - via a symbol on the instrument panel - if it detects the motorcycle is in a high gear at a certain speed. The Honda E-Clutch manages clutch engagement and disengagement based on its reading of parameters including vehicle speed, throttle opening angle, engine rpm, pressure on the shift pedal, clutch motor reduction gear angle, engine countershaft speed and gear position. The clutch is operated through an actuator unit with two motors situated inside the right hand engine cover. As the clutch is engaged or disengaged, the engine’s ignition timing and fuel injection are also controlled, resulting in smooth, shock-free shifting in any situation. Junya Ono, Large Project Leader, Honda E-Clutch: “Our Honda E-Clutch is designed to offer motorcyclists a new kind of experience that can make their riding even more fun and exciting. It also adds peace of mind and comfort to town riding or the daily commute. We hope that many riders will try our new system to enjoy the unique mix of sportiness and flexibility it offers.”

i made it to the edge of the map! this big canyon was always so freaky to me but then again i'm obsessed with map edges
i love going into caves sometimes lol. it's always like ok. wheres that damn frog
NO......another eventide shrine
ok, im gonna try the labyrinth now maybe?? ugh what if theres HANDS :( but i am just so sick of how big and empty hebra is
theres one of those crystal beam etc quests for this shrine (i got distracted on the way there. its fine). and usually they have parts set out so you can see what vehicle they wanted you to make. this time? the parts are set out as if to make a bike. WAY ahead of you
the problem being ofc that bikes dont carry these well. im sure they wanted me to attach the fans and stick to this little floating platform or whatever but fuck that lol
ok now wait why is this called lomei CASTLE...was that other one called castle in the sky version??? wack
oh boooo i gotta do the land part first :/
i checked and theres hands in there :(
im getting that fucking shrine! the one on top of the ice...one of the first i tried to get. i was so angry to discover that nothing i could do could get me in!! but it's finally time...
YOOOOO we got SLEDDING for this korok seed!! i lov game
lol i think calip is the one leaving these pinecones...? sounds a bit whiny and self involved, anyway
OH MY GOD I SAW THEM...I SAW THE HAND GOOP MOVE........
i thought they would be in the basement but they were on the other side of the bars from the shrine in the center of the maze!!!!!!!!!!!
i can't tell if they despawned or not IM SCARED :(
i thought i heard them but when i went to look i didnt see anything...i hope they dont respawn when i exit this shrine :(
but maybe!!! if theyre up here!!! the basement is fine actually!!!!!!!
"i ruler of owls" wtf does that mean
ok, back 2 the sky before these mf decide 2 respawn. christ. at least i have fast travel
i do really really love diving from sky to depths tho. fucking baller. esp glad to miss the hands <3
and i FUCKING. LOVE. the depths music for labyrinths. it's so FUCKING good. that lower register...mwah
phantom ganon pants HELL yeah
omg wait i can just...walk OUT of here to the depths?? maybe i'll just go get those poes...
missed the poes. went back inside instead to see if i could find the lightroot. found it on top of the maze but then i had to go the wrong way to get to the next one. so. no poes :( it was a big batch but idw walk all the way back lol
ok, snagged my second lightroot. im getting out of here lol
i should stop leaving hands on. i was gonna go get a shrine near a tower, but there's hands there, so actually i'm not doing that. it's better if i don't know!!! but sometimes i get scared and need to check :(
i went to the stable by the great tabantha bridge bc i noticed i missed a well there, and the canyon is full of green fog. i wanna look at that later but the thing i want to do next is check out satori mountain finally...i've been wanting to look for awhile!!
however unfortunately before THAT. i have to go to bed. rip!

KOVE 's New Cruiser 625V is Released in the Chinese Market, Priced at 24980 RMB
Tumblr media
On May 20, KOVE launched its first medium-to-large displacement cruiser, the 625V, with a price of 24,980 RMB in the Chinese market.
Tumblr media
This highly anticipated new "performance cruiser" product has quickly ignited heated discussions in the domestic motorcycle market with its unique sporty design, advanced power configuration and extremely reasonable price. The KOVE 625V may redefine the competitive landscape of domestically produced mid-displacement cruisers. In terms of appearance, the 625V continues the classic American style, adopts sharp muscle lines, a short-tail body, a ducktail rear seat, and a central fuel tank cap, making it visually closer to the American sports cruiser style. The iconic V-twin engine is exposed, with dual exhaust and inverted front shock absorbers, and the hardcore mechanical beauty is overwhelming.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is equipped with a 578cc water-cooled 8-valve V-twin KEV600 engine developed by Loncin, with the maximum power of 45kW/8500rpm, a maximum torque of 60N·m/5500rpm, and a maximum speed of 170km/h. The engine adopts CAE optimized valve timing design to achieve low-speed and high-torque characteristics, which is more suitable for cruiser.
Tumblr media
One of the outstanding features of this motorcycle is its fuel tank configuration. The total capacity of the fuel tank is 20L. In addition to the main fuel tank, it is also equipped with a secondary fuel tank(located under the seat cushion). The capacity of the main fuel tank is 15.8L and the secondary fuel tank capacity is 4.2L. The effective range can reach about 500km, which can be said to be a naked bike in a cruiser coat. In addition, another major feature is the overall layout that is not symmetrical. The layout of the motorcycle parts is biased to the left, and its right shock absorber is 6mm closer to the middle than the left one, which further offsets the weight offset caused by the right-mounted dual exhaust, making long-distance riding safer and more comfortable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The 625V adopts 18-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels, a narrow front and wide rear wheel system, and an ultra-short wheelbase of 1490mm, making the motorcycle light and flexible to control and highly maneuverable. Its braking system is equipped with a front single floating disc+opposed four-piston caliper, a rear fixed flat disc+opposed double-piston caliper, and is equipped with a dual-channel ABS and TCS braking system, with full safety performance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The 3.6-inch round TFT instrument panel supports mobile phone screen projection navigation and other functions to grasp driving information in real time. The self-adjustable handlebars and pedals make the riding posture more comfortable. The special CP material gear lever rubber can effectively avoid leaving marks on the shoe surface. In addition, it’s “plug and go, use” reserved fog lamp interface, original bumper and side bag hanging points that can be installed without drilling holes all demonstrate its unique and advanced concept.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The 625V body uses dual-cured bright paint and is available in main colors such as carbon crystal black(bright black), tungsten steel black(matte black), meteorite silver, and glitter green to meet diverse aesthetic preferences.
Tumblr media
The 625V combines KOVE sport racing style thermal management technology with ADV ’s dual fuel tank concept, making it stand out among many cruiser models. Once it was released, it gained heated discussion and favor among cruiser consumers in the Chinese market. We look forward to its subsequent performance in the market.

Brakes
Strange Brakes
Successful drag racers know, you must go as fast as possible – as quickly as possible -then come to a halt even more quickly. The more horsepower and traction that you produce, the faster you go. The faster you go, the better your brakes had better be. Strange Brakes consist of three basic components; calipers, rotors and brake pads. Strange Drag Racing Brakes are made-up of these components.
Brake Calipers
The Four-Piston Directional Caliper is available in steel or aluminum. This caliper features off-set (diameter) stainless steel pistons that promote balanced pad wear and maximum heat dissipation. Four-Piston Billet Calipers are loaded with four 1.75-inch stainless steel pistons for maximum clamping force. Billet construction delivers superior bridge strength.
Four-Piston Billet Low Profile Calipers (rear) fit where other calipers fail. The low-profile design allows this caliper to be used with new 15-inch bead lock wheels. Each piston has its own pad to eliminate the possibility of warpage.
Four-Piston Non-Directional Calipers also use a 1.75-inch stainless steel piston. Available in steel or aluminum, this caliper delivers top notch clamping force and comes with anti-rattle clips included. Two-Piston Calipers feature a fully machined aluminum body and 1.75-inch pistons. This caliper is recommended for use in drag race applications that weigh 2,600-pounds or less.
The One-Piston Floating Caliper utilizes internal bearings and sliders to prevent the caliper from binding or sticking. Square pad design allows the pad to slide freely for optimum pad life.
Rotors
Directional Slotted Rotors are the most popular rotors offered by Strange. Meticulous field testing and dyno testing have yielded a rotor that maximizes heat dissipation and reduces warpage while minimizing rotational weight – all without sacrificing stability. One-Piece Rotors are forged from either steel (not burnouts) or aluminum for superior strength. Instead of making the sides of the hat area thinner for weight reduction, lightening holes are used in strategic locations.
Two-Piece Floating Rotors are engineered for weight reduction in abusive drag racing conditions. Just ask NHRA World Champion Gary Stinnett. The Strange two-piece floating design delivers maximum longevity.
Two-Piece Floating (Stainless Steel) Rotors further combat the demons of braking under extreme temperatures. Stainless provides greater corrosion resistance without concern for warping or distortion.
Brake Pads
Strange Drag Racing Brake Pads are available in two configurations. Soft metallic pads are used in all front applications, and in the rear for vehicles traveling under 150 MPH. With these pads, you get superior cold holding ability. Hard metallic pads are used in the rear for those going over the 150 mark to provide higher brake fade protection.
Strange Brakes
Strange Carbon Brakes offer many advantages over cast iron or steel. There is a significant reduction is overall weight, along with dramatically improved heat dissipation. Carbon brake kits virtually eliminate the possibility of cracked or warped rotors and brake drag. The Strange Front Carbon Brake Kit is popular in NHRA Funny Car, Comp Eliminator, Pro Mod and Pro Stock Classes.
