i’m on my second year of law in a university that’s far from the city i used to live in with my family, so i live alone and have to cook for myself (which i hate), so i was wondering if you could write a blurb about carmy being in a relationship with a younger reader, she’s still a student and she’s away from her home, so he takes care of her and makes her a homemade meal when she’s feeling a bit lonely?

"Hey," Carmen turned from the stove, brows furrowing at you lightly. The droop of your shoulders, eyes dull and tired.

"Hi," You hum, slinging your backpack into the chair in the kitchen.

"Have a good day?" Carmen hesitated, pressing the spatula on the pan.

"Long day." You mutter, dropping into the open seat, kicking off your shoes under the table. "I'm starving. My head is pounding. I think if I read another word ever again my head might explode."

"'m sorry." Carmen hummed sympathetically. "Need medicine?"

"No, I took some. I think I'm just hungry now." You sigh, rubbing your temple. "What're you makin'?"

"I, uh, I thought you'd want somethin' kinda... I don't know. I-I was talking with Syd and Marcus, and I told 'em about that thing your mom used to make. Marcus went fuckin' crazy over it, said his mom used to make it too." Carmen's voice dropped into something calm. Something content that soothed you.

"A fluffernutter?" You grin, eyes lighting up. "No you didn't..."

Carmen smiled proudly, tipping the pan towards you so you could see. "Marcus gave me some tips. Told me how to make it and all that." He shrugged lightly.

Your face contorted into something Carmen couldn't read, lip wobbling lightly. His mind raced, heart lurching. "Hope that's alright. I-I just thought, uh, that you... I can make somethin' else."

"No." You shook your head, padding over to him, arms wrapped around his waist. "No, this is... perfect, Carm. Thank you." You whisper. You cup his jaw, pulling him in for a sweet kiss, hand sliding through his hair.

Carmen's heart swelled, beaming with pride that he tried to hide with a boyish smile when he pulled apart. "'s nothin'. Here, I'll bring it to you. You want chips or somethin' with it?"

You sat, letting Carmen fuss over you- like how he loved to. Loved doting on you in the kitchen, waiting on you carefully. He sat across from you, knees turned to you, watching you.

"You know I hate it when you watch me eat." You glare at him, picking up the sliced sandwich. It smelled just like you remembered, like how your mom used to make it.

"Sorry." Carmen blushed. "Just... Wanna see if I did it right."

You rolled your eyes lightly, lifting a hand over your mouth to block his view playfully before taking a bite. You moaned, chewing slowly and nodding.

"Good?" Carmen's eyes lit up.

"So good." You nod. "The best, holy shit. Don't tell my mom."

Carmen laughs, lifting his own sandwich and taking a bite. "Is pretty good." He nods. "See why you and Marcus love it."

Marshmallow fluff is very much of local origin. While not exclusive, Fluff originated in Mass and can't be easily found if you go out too far. Other places have marshmallow creme, which Fluff is often grouped with, but there is a hell of a difference between the two!

i just learned that pet pigeons eventually go through a sort of puberty, do you have some insight about that? around what age and how long does it last, what to look for to know it's begun and when it's over? Thanks!

The only adolescent pigeon I have ever had is Fluffernutter and basically pigeon puberty is when the fledglings stop squeaking and they start to sound like a broken kazoo before learning how to coo properly. Fluffernutter started dancing and nest cooing and it's very common for adolescent pigeons to go through a skittish phase where they don't want to be handled. I'm not sure how long it lasts probably a few weeks to a few months. I was always training and working with Fluffernutter though so he really didn't stay skittish for long in my experience.

You might want to ask the pigeon behavior blog if you want a more in depth and knowledgeable information since they were a breeder and I have mostly only ever had adults

My girl Veeeeeth!!!

First impression: The first time I watched an animatic with Veth in it I was smitten. Her voice? Her chaotic vibes? Instant favourite.

Impression now: Veth is my number one favourite CR character of all time. I've talked about her a lot on my blog lol but I just absolutely adore the way Sam plays her. She's hilarious. She has so much depth. She's a mom, she's a best friend, she's barely twenty years old. She's married, she's horny, she doesn't know how to choose between the life of an adventurer and the life of a housewife. She's in love with her best friend. She's in love with her husband. She's a little goblin girl. She's a halfling woman. She makes explosives. She's a proud member of the Chaos Crew. She's an alcoholic. She's scared. She would die to protect the people she loves. She loves children. She killed a baby manticore to get its mother's attention. She invented the Fluffernutter. She's so smart. She thinks she's ugly and not brave. She's learning how to love herself. She's my everything.

Favorite moment: Truly how can I choose just one... An early moment that has always stuck with me is when they're in Zadash and Nott turns herself in a halfling to just go to a cafe alone and have lunch and "be a normal girl". With the context of her backstory... ouch. Also Edith where is my son. And Your people did this to my people. All of the Nott-backstory-reveal stuff hits sooooo hard.

Idea for a story: I have sooo many but I'd love to write something about Veth watching Luc grow up over the years... Also something about Veth and Yeza's relationship, maybe the arc from their early romance to their relationship post-campaign in little snapshots.

Unpopular opinion: This isn't technically an opinion, but I feel like a lot of people forget how young Veth is? Like yes she has a husband and a child but she's like... mid-twenties? One of the youngest members of the Nein, actually. When people call her the team mom I'm like... she's a baby!!

Favorite relationship: I mean, Caleb and Veth. Of course. Their dynamic is everything. Truly one of the most interesting relationships I've ever seen played out in a ttrpg. I'm obsessed. (Second place goes to Veth and Jester, absolutely love their friendship.)

Favorite headcanon: I guess this is technically a Yeza headcanon, but I like to think that Yeza collected like... rocks and chemicals and science-y things as a kid, and he thought it was really cool that Veth had all of her little collections, too, and that's something they bonded over when they were young. :) Being the weird kids together.

I live with my starter (Fluffernutter the Cyndaquil, my Geriatric Baby) and three to five Smeargles at any given time. Two of them are mine- Degas and Waterhouse- and the rest are fosters.

I'm from Unova- born and raised in Virbank City- and I still live here today! (Though I work in a different city and I won't tell you which one.) I love my crappy hometown and will fight you for its honour. Don't Test Me.

I like movies a lot. Yes, I have been to PokeStar Studios, I have mixed feelings about it but overall I really like living close to ~where the magic happens~. Goomcharov is the best movie of all time. Fight me.

I want to travel, but so far, the only real ~adventures~ I've had were my Pokemon Journey when I was ten and a Study Abroad in Johto. I'd love to visit Paldea, Kalos, and Galar someday!

Broccoli cheese soup

This one was a bit hard to track down ingredients for (there was a whole vegetable broth debacle) and I figured I would have to boil a cheese rind to homogenise the taste, which if you're kosher and not in a very Jewish city can be an adventure in many respects. However: yeah I understand why people love this, it hits, unquestionably gevaldig. I baked the crucifers in advance because Ukrainian cooking generally fries or bakes things before combining them; I think this would actually be kind of bad without that step but you know what, it was good. It was. It was good.

Casserole, comma Lutheran binder

Cream soup-bound casserole. Effectively once upon a time a potato kugel and a zharkoye loved each other very much, but it was dairy. Honestly it was pretty good, very filling, lasted a while. Peak effort to output ratio, great for kids, I can see why this is a church food. If enough people from the deep Midwest ever convert as a community this will be their equivalent of kugel.

Deep fried Oreos

Dangerous to make and terrible for you to eat, effectively like if kolobki were full of slightly burnt cookies instead of being deep fried quark. Despite everything, would eat again.

Corn chowder

Honestly? 10/10 no notes I love a good milk soup. Would serve this at a holiday.

Banana bread

Excellent. Excellentissimo even. Tasty. Economical. Comforting. Where was this all my life?

Chicken bog

I've made this out of neglect by accident. Halfway between soup and pilaf. I'm sincerely thrilled they do it in South Carolina on purpose. Genuinely it overjoyed me to find out this is a thing.

Glorified rice

Honestly I understand the conceptual appeal of this, like I get why it should be good. But something about it was just bad. It's like a slightly medievalist blancmange from the Sitra Achra. I will slander glorified rice's name until the day I shuffle off this mortal coil.

Welcome to my Good Omens fandom blog! Saddle up, buckarinos! We're goin on an adventure!

My name is [insert whatever you want to call me here]! I'm a mid-30s queer nonbinary socialist polytheist Luciferian-Satanist kitchen witch and aspiring author who loves Good Omens and hates Brussel sprouts. I'm not new to the fandom in that I'm not a new fan of the book or series, or new to tumblr in that I've been here since the Golden Age of the early 2010s, but this is my first time slapping the two together like a fluffernutter sandwich.

I've been writing some fics, if you're interested, search for my 'olives works' tag, but between my full-time job and my attempts to work on my original fiction, updates are slow-coming.
