I feel like the reason I hate writing bigger posts is because the creation of the object sucks too much life out of me..

This is a redesign of a very old dress that I made for the NextFashionArtist (actually please don't research as I was a complete and malicious bitch to people and should've been elimanated after Round 1), and after seeing Simlicious update the dress she made for Round 1, I decided to be a little copycat and follow in her steps. My dress has gotten some hate because apparently it is too revealing for the club or any other occasion, but frankly I would like to disagree because I go out in similar stuff. It is very revealing, but I've added nipple pasties so in the case of something slipping out - it will still be pg friendly, well depending on what skin you use

The remaking of this dress made me wanting to eat porkchops through barbed wire fences because nothing friggin' worked and I was really out of training with clothing, meshing, and so on. Tldr; I had problems with the mesh, the uv-map (thanks a lot tswr), making a 4 channel mask, morphs, borked seams, and I was really ready to slap the shit out of somebody. Thankfully Simlicious and Toadify were there to save the day and motivating me to do all the lods and whatnot.

You didn’t end up telling him anything. Just hobbling back to your room, feeling like shit. You send an email to your teacher explaining you’re going to need a few weeks off to recover, you don’t go into details but you get Dr Marion to send him a note too. You’ll do your work from your room instead. You’re not prepared mentally or physically you stare at your suppressant pills and wonder if you could get away with taking one as normal, but you heard the doctor and didn’t want to make this any worse than it was. So it was time to stock up and prepare for a heat, fucking great.

You’re lucky this academy is the size of Piltover itself you swear. There are shops here, a doctor’s office, a pharmacy office, a cafeteria, the teaching grounds then the dorm grounds the grand hall as well. You feel like a crazy survivalist person stocking up on items for the end of the world, but like hell you’d go anywhere when your heat hits, and like hell you’d ask anyone for help or food deliveries.

Viktor feels he may lose his mind if this equation doesn’t figure itself out in five minutes. He can’t stop thinking about you. Your face, how unwell you looked. When you left the doctor you were stuttering, not wanting to tell him so he assumed it was personal only now his mind is running wild with every probability. He’s half tempted to pull rank as a head of the academy and alpha to see what’s wrong, but he wouldn’t do such things to invade your privacy. He also can’t help how adorable you looked in that oversized hoodie like you wanted to be swallowed up by the clothing. He throws his chalk down onto the table before grabbing his cane and storming out of his lab. His brows furrowed in thought before he spots a familiar figure. He slows watching you with your bags of items and hurrying back to your room a frown on his face. His curiousness tugs him to go check on you while his logic side knows he should keep his distance regarding academy rules and let you get better. You weren’t contagious though not that he’s worried he would risk getting sick if he could see you.

“Food, water, towels, blankets” you list out loud to yourself unpacking the food and water and putting it in the mini-fridge you bought a while ago. You feel restless needing to prepare yourself for a heat. What are you supposed to do? You end up sitting down and searching for it on your laptop before you snap your laptop shut as soon as a ‘knot dildo’ shows up on your screen and your cheeks go bright red. Surely it wasn’t that bad? Was it? You pace your room a bit chewing on your nails, you’ve already missed your second dose now, nearing bedtime. One in the morning one at night. Now there’s nothing in your system, sort of, nothing new in your system. You try to think back to your first heat but that hardly compares to now, your first heat was more like a flu, and now it’s the need to mate. Fucking omega genetics. You groan in frustration throwing a pillow across the room before you hear your name in a familiar accent. You look out the archway to your bedroom and see Professor Viktor at the door which is opened. He’s stood frozen, nose flaring his hand shaking as it hovers above the doorknob, his eyes snap to yours in a predatory gaze you’ve never seen.

“Viktor” you gulp suddenly as he takes a small breath.

“I-I’m sorry the door was unlocked and I heard your commotion,” he says voice cracking slightly.

“I- uh” you gulp a bit.

“I’m sorry I shouldn’t have barged in on you like that it was wrong of me” he looks to the ground like he’s mentally kicking himself. Your rationality is out the window the moment you catch his scent. You grip the archway in the wall and shudder before you hide. You lean against the wall panting heavily mind reeling. A perfectly well-aged alpha is standing at your door while you’re like this.

“Miss Y/n?” He calls out and you feel your legs shake at the lowness, the thickening of his accent.

“You should leave. I’ll- I’ll be fine, out of commission for a few weeks” you chuckle nervously.

“I’m sorry to barge in on you” his voice is still low and you run a hand down your face pinching the bridge of your nose.

“It’s alright, Viktor” you call back.

“If- if you need anything send me an email, I’ve left a card on your table by the door ok?” He says before the door closes and you groan sliding to the floor in a heap.

You pick up the small business card noticing the cursive handwriting on the back, it’s slightly shaky though. You stare at the card for too long before you walk back to your room and put it on your bedside table. You continue to stare at it, leg jogging as you sit on the edge of your bed. Your nest is being forgotten by thoughts of the alpha.

“It’s fine, everything will be fine you are an adult and can handle this” You give yourself a pep talk and nod.

You’re not fine, far from fine actually. The moment you wake up you feel like you want to crawl out of your skin. Your anxiety is through the roof and your overthinking is running a million miles an hour. You tried to busy yourself with normal things, breakfast, showering, getting dressed, but you’re in panic mode, you don’t know how to handle your heat, not a mature adult heat anyway, what the hell are you supposed to do? When you make it you peer through the window and see it empty, you curse to yourself before going to his office, you don’t find him there either and internally groan. Your mind clicks then, his lab. You’re sneaking through the halls even though you don’t have to, the academy doesn’t have a curfew or rules about night roaming. You know where the labs are you just don’t know which lab is Viktor’s. You peek into each lab like some secret agent looking for enemies. You hear a light chuckle behind you and freeze before turning around. Professor Jayce Talis.

“Professor Talis!” You say straightening up.

“Care to explain your peeking methods?” He asks head tilted an easy smile on his face.

“I was uh-“ you gulp a bit glad he’s at a safe distance.

“Viktor’s lab is number 39,” he says before leaving and you stare wide-eyed before rushing to it. You knock quickly hands shaking your mind reeling again with anxieties.

“Knocking like that won’t-“ Viktor’s stern voice and expression break off as he sees you, surprise crossing his features. You look around before rushing in almost knocking the poor alpha over but you’re too far gone.

“Is there a reason you’re barging into my lab Miss Y/n?” He says frowning closing the door before he turns and looks at you. You’re panting a little heavily from your rushing around, your hands are shaking and you feel your stomach and throat clench up. His frown deepens before it softens and he steps closer his cane hitting the ground softly.

“Calm down” he says gently hanging his cane in the crook of his elbow.

“I can’t- I just- the doctor said the virus was caused by my suppressant tablets because I was taking two because my hormones were going haywire since I was talking with you. The over-dosage made me super sick but I’m fine now I’m off them only now I have to stay off them to flush it out of my system and I’m going into heat and I’ve never had a mature heat I don’t know what I’m doing and I’m freaking out” you say in a rush of nerves. You watch as he processes your words realisation, a flush of cheeks his mouth opening and closing, his nose flaring, pupils dilating. Your hands are shaking as you fiddle with them, cracking already cracked knuckles, fiddling with the hem of your jumper, your stomach flipping, your throat closing over, your breathing heavier.

“Omega, calm down,” he says voice firm as he steps closer his hand on the back of your neck. You let out a small involuntary noise, you close your eyes and let your hands fall to your side clenching and releasing them. You breathe him in, feel the warmth of his hand on your neck and take a shaky breath before opening your eyes again.

“I’m sorry,” you say softly.

“It’s alright” he answers voice low and gentle.

“I can’t believe I just blurted all that to you” you groan quietly in embarrassment.

“It’s a sign of trust,” he says a small smile playing on his lips.

“I know, but still, you’re a professor not even my professor, you probably don’t wanna know about that” You sigh your cheeks warm.

“I’d rather you speak to me than be in your room driving yourself into a panic attack you can’t escape,” he says a little more firmer.

“You-you’re right” you mumble.

“Let’s sit you down” he says softly nodding to the couch behind you. You sigh and nod stepping back before sitting down on the two-seater sofa. You run your hands down your face still shaking slightly as you watch him move to a small closed office area that has glass panels. You notice a tea and coffee maker which he turns on before walking back out.

“I have a blanket in my drawer if you’d like” he offers and you shake your head before you give in and nod it. He smiles gently heading back into the office and pulling out a blanket from his bottom desk drawer. He walks back out and hands it to you.

“Sometimes I fall asleep in here” he explains and you nod wrapping it around yourself. You sigh catching his scent faintly on it the material. He doesn’t say much before finishing the tea and handing you a cup.

“Thank you” you mutter as he sits down beside you with his own. You take a sip of the tea surprised at the sweet taste of it.

“You’ve… never had a mature heat before?” He asks and you shake your head.

“I uh researched it and well that wasn’t- a good thing” You feel yourself flush embarrassed.

“The internet is hardly a good place for such things people tend to exaggerate” he chuckles softly.

“I’ve been panicking since this morning, since the doctor told me actually, I tried to busy myself you know normal day-to-day things, then preparing and then I just spiralled” you explain softly.

“I’m glad you found yourself searching me out in such a state” he says softly his hand lifting again his thumb gently caressing your cheek. You feel your body go warm and you quickly look away in embarrassment.

“Why did you come to me?” He asks and you frown in thought heart racing again. Why did you seek him out? You’ve talked to him every day for the last month and a little bit, those moments of talking about his inventions and you talking about art, his question that made all your talking reality, the heat pad he had made special for you, your silly crush on him.

“In the middle of the night,” he adds gently prying.

“I just- I just came here I wasn’t thinking I just needed to find you,” you say gripping the mug in your hand a little tightly.

“I’m not judging you, little one, merely understanding” he says softly his hand on the back of your neck again, gently massaging. You sigh your body relaxing instantly, you remember your mother doing this to you when you were upset or overwhelmed as a child.

“I don’t know” you mumble your emotions haywire, your eyes filling with tears a bit.

“What do you need or want from me?” He asks and your mind reels.

“I want you to…to stay with me” you admit.

“For the rest of the night?” He asks.

“No, my whole, the whole duration of coming off my suppressants and- and my heat… when it hits,” you say your hands shaking again with your admissions. It’s selfish to put an alpha in such a situation, you probably smell of pre-heat already mixed with anxious omega. He’s older than you too and a professor.

“Forget I said that” you mutter.

“I don’t want to” he answers and you brave looking at him. You shiver at the intensity in his honey-golden eyes, the serious look on his face, it’s different from the ones he holds in lectures or normal life, it’s intense underlying with feelings and emotions.

“You want me to stay with you while you go through coming off your suppressants and your heat” he repeats and you nod feeling your cheeks warm.

“It’s bad I know-“

“Shut up” you instantly silence at the order.

“You need to be sure,” he says tone softer.

“I’m sure” you whisper.

Arrrghh. People are finishing up Rebirth and looking up the different localizations, and the inevitable wave of hate for the English version is starting to gain traction again just like with Remake. I guess I just get super defensive about it because I have worked on large translation projects before, and it's not as straightforward as players seem to think.

It's not like the good ol' days of "This Guy Are Sick." They don't write the JPN script first, and then just send it out for translation anymore. Nowadays the different language scripts are all written simultaneously, with the teams working back and forth together, to check over each ofher's work and make sure that no one sentence is under- or overshooting a goal. Like it or not— everything is checked over and approved.

There's a lot more being translated than just words. There's so much to take into account— tone of voice, the cultural context, the lip sync and corresponding length of each line (which isn't allowed to run over by more than 0.2 seconds which is CRAZY). It's a messy process and it's a lot of goddamn work.

And then there's the audience, too. Different languages' audiences are often going to have wildly different interpretations of a character. A really good example from FFVII would be Yuffie. In the JPN version of the OG, Yuffie is written to be a confident girl who's dead serious about her ninja training. The ENG translation didn't do that justice... she instead comes off as a silly annoying kid pretending to be a ninja. Remake's DLC was testing the waters to see if they could write Yuffie in a way that's still faithful to both of the strikingly different regional perceptions of her character. And they nailed it.

The same thing happened with Cloud, and continues to influence the way he's written in the Re-trilogy. It's much more subtle than with Yuffie, but it's still noticeable, and I think it's why a lot of people get up in arms about his dialogue.

Cloud has always been written as having a stark disconnect between his tone of voice and his choice of words. It's just that the two major languages get it swapped! JPN Cloud has a harsh, mean tone, but his choice of words is polite and easygoing. On the other hand, ENG Cloud says a LOT of nasty shit out loud, but his true feelings are betrayed by his soft voice and gentle body language.

The difference goes unnoticed by the average player who isn't so invested to give a damn. But if you're actively searching for "bad translations" to get mad at, then you'll find them where one version's Cloud comes off a bit too strong. It's only natural that English Cloud is the one that pisses people off more often— after all, he's literally saying stupid shit to to piss other characters off constantly. His character is so convincing that players want to reach into their screens and wring his neck, and I think that's glorious.

But that's why it upsets me to see people turn that frustration at the localization teams. They didn't "ruin" a character's dialogue— they were just barely able to make something work, all things considered. Character, line length, culture, story context, facial animations, voice acting, for MULTIPLE languages, like... holy shit. It's a miracle that most of it is really really good, and that the bad is only a little bit bad.

Idk where this rant is going. Just... c'mon people. Have some respect for such an insanely complicated art form.

The Pitt x Survivor headcanons

These are just my opinions and are in no particular order whatsoever & I’d LOVE to hear thoughts on this

Also I had to delete & remake my account so I’m recreating my old posts, so if you’ve seen this before, you’re not going crazy :)

Abbot would absolutely make it to the final three, no doubt in my mind. He's good at the challenges so he keeps winning immunity despite everyone trying to vote him off bc he's a threat

Langdon would be voted off mid season bc he just became very unlikable halfway through

Santos was the most hated one at the beginning but became the one everyone LOVED. She for sure makes it to the final three but does fire

I'm sorry, but Robby would have a breakdown eventually at having to support everyone and not take any time to himself. I love him but he would not make it through the season (unless Abbot is right by his side holding his hand 24/7)

Mel would be the sweet lovable character that no one has the heart to be mean to but she would eventually be blindsided towards the end of the season (she'd be devastated by Langdon leaving so her blindside happens right after)

Ellis found an idol day one and she kept it but she does get blindsided with it in her pocket (organized by Shen bc he thought it would be funny)

Shen made a silly little mistake and got voted off be he was too casual about said mistake. He leaves tribal not giving a single damn, literally raising his hand in a peace out

Victoria, sweet Victoria. I love her but girl is probably one of the firsts to get voted off

Dana for sure makes it to final three. She's the mama bear of the group and can handle her shit

Whittaker becomes a fan favorite (mainly bc of his frenemies vibe with Santos) but dude is so tired, he's actually happy to be voted off and sleep in an actual bed

I feel like Collins would get voted off early on... and I don't know why maybe she lost her vote be she played the game too safe?

Same with Samira. She gets voted off early bc she spends too much time on the challenges and ends up sending her team to tribal a lot

McKay definitely took Victoria under her wing at the beginning and was a fan favorite bc of that and had a secret alliance with Mateo

Mateo, Donnie, and Whittaker definitely form a trio, just like Princess, Perlah, and Santos have their own trio. Then Robby, Dana, and Abbot are in a trio as well

BUT Santos betrays her trio, Abbot sorta does too but in a nice way like "I love you but I'm winning this shit... but you were awesome though"

Abbot became VERY fond of Samira and would take her on rewards and such, much to the bewilderment of Robby and Dana

Thoughts? I’m thinking Abbot would win bc he’s just that much more likeable than Santos

Colin Ritman - SFW Alphabet

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

He doesn’t show much physical affection. I think the closest you’d get is an arm around your waist or an arm behind you while you sit next to each other. No PDA though. People have thought you were friends or siblings in public cause he doesn’t act like a normal boyfriend.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

He would be the kind of friend that you don’t talk to very often but when you do you find out he was on some crazy ass side quests. And even if you don’t talk very often and barely know each other, you’re able to pick up where you left off like no time had passed.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

I think he would. It’s not something he craves or needs but if you want to snuggle up under his arm while you watch a movie or get high together then he doesn’t mind. Sometimes you’ll spoon in bed (he doesn’t mind being either big or little spoon).

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

His version of settling down is just sharing a place and you don’t even have to be dating or involved with each other to live with him. He’s just that chill of a guy.

He can’t cook for shit though. You wonder how he stays skinny when all he does is eat fast food and take out. Then again he doesn’t eat much. He’s so focused on his games and the drugs he takes sort of take away his appetite. He gets the munchies if he smokes weed though.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

I’m sorry but it would probably be more heartbreaking for you than him. He’d be convinced that there’s another life out there where it works out for you two but this one isn’t it.

He’d try not to be too much of an asshole but he doesn’t do feelings all that well. He would expect you to understand his reasons.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He sees marriage as a scam and another way for the government to track you. He has no interest in that what so ever. The closest you’d ever get to marriage with him would be common law marriage.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Physically, he’s surprisingly gentle. He’d never hurt you on purpose.

Emotionally though…well…he can be kind of a jerk sometimes. He’ll leave out of no where for a long period of time with no note or anything just to come back and not understand why you’re upset. He doesn’t want to make you upset but he wouldn’t see it as such a big deal.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

He doesn’t mind but he rarely initiates them. If you hug him he’ll reciprocate. He wouldn’t hold you very tight.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

It would take forever for him to say it. He’s more of a “show his love through actions” kind of guy. Love is just a four letter word to him, it’s the things he does that shows he cares. You might never hear him say it but if you really wanted him to say it he would.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

I don’t think he gets jealous. He’s secure that his partner will stay with him even if someone else is flirting with them but if they decide they don’t want to be with him anymore then oh well, maybe in the next life.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses are usually slow and passionate. Especially if he’s high. He likes neck kisses, both giving and receiving.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He’s great with kids. A lot of kids are fans of him and if he ever meets one he’ll be nice to them. He’d also be a great dad. One of the endings shows his daughter all grown up and remaking Bandersnatch in the future and she seems happy talking about him so if he lived long enough for her to remember him then I bet he was a great dad. He’d be the chill cool dad but he wouldn’t be afraid to discipline either. Nothing crazy, but he’s not going to raise an entitled or rude kid.

He wouldn’t plan on being a dad but if he gets someone pregnant and they want to keep it, he’s not going to abandon them.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

He usually wakes up before you. He’ll get some coffee going and usually starts his day on the balcony with his coffee and a cig.

He’ll sometimes give you a quick kiss before heading off to work if you’re awake.

If it’s both your days off then you’d make breakfast and probably spend the morning talking about random stuff or watching tv.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Colin smokes weed nightly. The harder stuff is left for when he’s “in the hole” or needs an extra productivity boost. So either join him, or get used to the smoke quickly.

That is, if he isn’t working. Sometimes he’s on a roll and close to a breakthrough and will work through the night.

If he’s sober, he’s slow to reveal things. He’s not a very open person but when he’s high he kinda infodumps like crazy. He talks so fast it’s hard to keep up.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He is so hard to get angry. He’s just that chill of a guy that he takes everything in stride. You could be yelling in his face and he’d stand there with a blank face like “you done?”

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He remembers everything. It’s almost scary how much he remembers. If he was going to get you something but noticed it had one tiny thing you didn’t like, even if it was something really minor, he would pass on it.

No need to give him a list of groceries. He already knows. It’s crazy how the drugs haven’t fucked with his memory yet. He says he’s able to remember because of them.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

When you first started to see each other romantically but not yet dating, he coded a short puzzle game and had you “test play” it. There were various puzzles that you completed relatively quickly and at the end you had to decode a message that ended up saying “be mine?”

You, of course, said yes and you own the only copy of it.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He assumes you’re able to handle yourself and will keep an eye on you just incase. But if it’s getting out of hand he’ll step in and help you.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He would be really good at remembering dates.

He wouldn’t do anything crazy but he might get some flowers on the way home and your favourite food. He turned up one day with a kitten/puppy and was like “Happy birthday.”

He helps out around the house too.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He will straight up disappear with no warning. Sometimes for weeks. No note, no updates, nothing. Completely MIA. He always comes back but it worries the fuck out of you. No matter how many times you tell him to at least leave a note or check in every once and a while so you know he’s ok, he will always forget.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Not very. He’s not a slob, he makes sure his clothes are clean and look nice but a few wrinkles isn’t going to make him freak out. He does no skin care but somehow gets blessed with great skin. He puts some gel in his hair in the morning and that’s about it.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Something would feel off, and it might make him feel uncomfortable, but he’d shake it off and pretend it wasn’t bothering him.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

I don’t think Colin himself is poly but he’s been apart of poly relationships before. Kitty looks polygamous imo. He wouldn’t care if his partner has other partners but he’d rather have one at a time. It’s easier for him to focus on one person rather than multiple.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

He wouldn’t care if you don’t understand his ramblings, most people don’t and he shrugs them off as not willing to know the truth but if you start pressuring him to “seek help” about it he would get a bit annoyed.

You also have to be chill with drugs. He will drug you if he thinks you need it. He can’t be with someone who preaches about how drugs are bad. (This is for Bandersnatch Colin. I think Plaything Colin stopped doing anything other than weed.)

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

He doesn’t sleep much. But when he does it’s like a rock and it’s for hours. He can also sleep anywhere no matter how uncomfortable or how loud it is.

soo context, I bought a overhaul action figure for christmas (since it was the only mha fig in the store but we ain't gon talk about that-) and my parents got me this shark excavation kit for christmas. aaand once I found how tiny the sharks were (the excavation area was so big tho?? tf Natintonal geographic?? waste???) I decided to give them to Overhaul! and they fit in his arms so perfectly I made it canon that he has sharks.

anyways Mitchell and Michelle are the fan child(ren?) of Dave and Mack Hans (it was originally supposed to be a poly relationship with my other OC but I scrapped it (for now))

Mitchell is usually the more tame and obedient one. Not to say Michelle isn't obedient but they're more prone to anger which makes them more defiant and sometimes reckless

Its usually really hard to tell who is fronting but Mitchell looks more like their father Mack while Michelle looks more like Dave.

Their voices do also sound different obviously

Mitchell typically always fronts (but I like drawing women more so womp womp) so Dave nor Mack know that Michelle exists, but Matt does because Michelle started crashing out which blew their cover

They can't speak at the same time or else their brain stops working. Whenever one speaks, the other goes "inactive"

Jokes aside they do get along very well mainly because Matt and Mitchell/Michelle both have weird ass fathers that they got their traits from

Also Michelle steals Dave's earrings and Mack's necklace so much that they just let them keep it and bought new ones
