Finally finished my second silly little progen AFTER NINE YEARS. IM SORRY PINKPONK
She originally rolled with straight up disgusting colours, I think she was something like Fuchsia/Flaxen/Crocodile, it was BAD. I rerolled her years ago, and she got a fun combo of Driftwood/Seafoam/Mulberry. She didn't have her primary or tert for years, and I only finished her now because I bought too many copies of gecko and blend.
I named her when I was still a little bebe, and idk why but Pinkponk just fit her, especially with her attrocious colour scheme. Nowadays I don't want to change it because it has a fun ring to it.
I think she's a technomancer and has special gloves that let her summon familiars. That's the vibe I'm getting from her
#minimalist dragons my beloveds#honestly with the amount of bullshit going on fr dragons already with the sparkly genes and stuff putting on more than#3 apparel pieces should be a freaking crime#she has 4 but in my defence the glasses your honour#dragonshare#mine#progen#progenitor#mirror

I finished dyeing the primary colors, so started my first round of blending to compare colors generated with red-blue-yellow primaries vs cyan-magenta-yellow primaries.
The cyan-magenta-yellow secondary colors are much brighter and I like them more. Especially the purple. Part of why I started this is that I've hated every batt I've made by blending blue and red, even though I love purples. Someone mentioned cyan-magenta-yellow color wheel, and I remember some magenta and cyan merino blended top (Bubblegum Surprise) that made such a nice purple.
Each batt is 15 grams, with primary colors dyed with 1.7% with Jacquard Yellow Sun, Brilliant Blue, Turquoise, Fire Red and Hot Fuchsia.
So now I've started blending the tertiary colors. After I get back from camping I'll start spinning.

“Cybernetic Phantom”
Sex: Female
Race: Human
Height: 5'6"
Age (circa 99 AGW): 37
Aura Density: Low (Pre-Cyborg)/High (Cyborg)
Aura Reserves: High/Variable
Aura Color: Fuchsia
Semblance: Life Force/Life Dust
Weapon: Carnation (Destroyed)/Carnation Illusion (Dust Construct)/Carnation Lily (Rebuilt/Upgraded)
Additional Abilities: Cybernetic Vision, Cybernetic Nervous System, Crystalline Arm, Cybernetic Legs, Dust Constructs
Another OC not created for this AU but being permitted to be used by her creator Touko Fuchsia is a teacher at Beacon, running Grimm Studies, an ironic choice given her notable degree of cybernetic reconstruction. When she was younger she traveled alongside Team RWBY and the others after the Fall of Beacon.
Touko’s legs and eyes are completely mechanical, with her upper face being a near perfect “mask” of synthetic skin fused atop the ruins of the old, alongside having additional benefits like an internal pacemaker/power source, a near complete replacement of her nervous system, and a biomonitor linked to her new eyes. Furthermore, Touko’s left arm is made out of a unique, light pinkish hue of Dust dubbed ‘Life Dust’, the result of the Dust leaching out of her pacemaker infusing itself with her blood. This unique type of Dust is capable of being freely manipulated thanks to her Semblance, Life Force, which previously just allowed her to manipulate the blood in her own body (and is also what saved her life in the Fall of Beacon). The Dust composing her left arm can also be shaped into weapons, such as an armblade, when Touko doesn’t have access to her primary weapon, Carnation Lily, a twin bladed spear-lance that can separate into two hand cannons. She’s known for being somewhat temperamental, spending a lot of her free time at home tinkering, getting high on Not!cannabis and hanging out with Ruby, who she lives with and is extremely affectionate towards. Alludes to the Phantom of the Opera, the titular character of Le fantome de l’Opera.

Location/Organizations
Ikana Canyon [Tag]
An ancient, abandoned city-state located in a deep desert canyon. The city is partially below ground, within a massive cavern rife with magic-inundated flora and fauna. The Garo are the sole inhabitants, living in two hidden villages separate from the main cavern. They were originally a secret tribe of warriors who served the royal family of the ancient city-state. Though the kingdom has long since fallen, the tribe still remains. Okahni - Rustblood - A member of the Garo tribe and one of the last warriors who follow the tribe’s original purpose.
FV (Fishing Vessel) Argus [Tag 1] [Tag 2]
The FV Argus is a modified fishing trawler, now equipped to chase, fight, and haul giant aquatic fauna. It’s equipped with two mounted, electrified harpoon launchers, plus an electric net. They have a psionic generator for the net/harpoon launchers, as the ship’s normal generator isn’t enough to handle it. They use electricity to stun/immobilize creatures they’re hauling, because bringing them back mostly alive is better than dead. Anagyn Felwal - Purpleblood - Captain and main sales negotiator. He mostly handles the paperwork and finances stuff. Doesn’t like to lose money. Winnet Ackvee - Tealblood - Sales / Financial advisor. She tends to avoid the rest of the crew and often stays on shore. Domheo Tehein - Rustblood - Operations Control; Basically he’s one of the ones at the control board, manning radio/sonar + keeping everyone in contact and on the same page Ketler Dobayl - Bronzeblood - Operations Control, Medical Specialist Haelia Fehran - Violetblood - Medical Specialist, Rescue Eryeit Yiheim - Bronzeblood - Mechanic, Psionic Specialist, Labor; She powers the psionic generators when they need electricity Dsirel Terebi - Yellowblood - Mechanic, Labor; He’s very grumpy and he and Eryeit bicker a lot; The two of them have worked together for a long time. SV (Sailing Vessel) Thunderstroke
A barque ship currently serving as a private merchant vessel. About half the crew of 20 are temp workers. Many of the crew share jobs. Anirus Hyderi - Goldblood - Captain. After inadvertently causing a mutiny against the former captain, Anirus was voted into the position by the remaining crew. Anaste - Rustblood - Serves as medic and cook, and repairs the ropes and sails as needed. Has been on the ship since the previous Captain; Sweet, but strong-willed. Heil - Violetblood - First Mate, general advisor. He’s spent most of his life on a ship and has been on the Thunderstroke since the previous Captain. Well-meaning and generally relaxed but can be a bit coarse. Domura - Bronzeblood - Sailor with no specific role. Has telekinesis.
The Fangs [Tag 1] [Tag 2]
A mutant-operated gang with a number of lowblood members, without a single member above olive who isn’t also a mutant. Most members go by multiple different nicknames. The gang operates across a single city, but generally avoids stepping on the toes of other gangs, with its primary focus just to provide safety and income for mutants and lowbloods. Members often have one or more tattoos of fanged animals baring their teeth, and maybe hemoanon or wear multiple colors to rebel or obfuscate their true color. Intel, drugs, fight rings, and illegal weaponry are how the Fangs make their money. They are headed by the One-through-Four, a group of four mysterious trolls who are unknown to most members and the authorities. They own and operate several bars (namely Dogbite and Adderhead) which also serve as safe areas for their members, and sometimes also host fight rings. One - Fuchsiablood - A land-dwelling fuchsia and one of the four heads of the Fangs. Three - Goldblood - A bug-winged mutant with future sight psionics. Often warns of attacks on the gang’s places of operation and is something of a bleeding heart. Silans (AKA Lectro or Champion) - A candy red mutant who holds the title of Champion of Dogbite, which is the Fangs’ main bar. He provides advanced weaponry and cybernetics for the Fangs. Missah (AKA Missy, Sis, or Shotgun) - A limeblood who bartends at Adderhead. She secretly reports directly to the Numbers. Doc (AKA Jackal) - An oliveblood with black horns, a tail, and digitigrade legs. Serves as the fight ring doctor of the Adderhead fight ring. Lloric - Former Champion of the Adderhead fight ring. No longer a member of the Fangs. Whistler - A bronzeblood and the main bouncer of Adderhead. Usually wears a hat which shades his eyes. Has sight-based psionics which allow him to never miss a (still) target when using a ranged weapon.
Gaia [Tag 1] [Tag 2]
A long-standing organization whose main purpose is to anticipate and prevent world-ending catastrophies and other major calamities, especially of a magical, eldritch, or otherwise supernatural nature. Gaia employs many mages, mutants, even otherworldly entities, providing safety, comraderie, and income for those who would otherwise struggle on hostile Alternia. Begrudgingly, the Empire turns a blind eye to their illegal members for the protection that the organization provides.
Stormbringer ([REDACTED], “Dragonmom”) - Purpleblood - One of the two guardian deities of Alternia, who provides Gaia members with special protections. Hanabi - Jadeblood - Head of Operations and defacto leader, after the previous leadership betrayed the organization. Mikail - Tealblood - Head of the Investigations branch. Glasya - Purpleblood - Head archivist.
Shattered Star [Tag]
A “freelance” Fleet special ops group which generally performs jobs for the ‘highest bidder’ rather than answering to one authority in particular. Darvai - Purpleblood - Head of the group. Has potent psionics which allow him to view and alter the dreams and memories of those who are sleeping. Zarali - Candy Redbloood - Darvai’s adoptive daughter. Special Ops, specifically assassination and stealth. Has potent illusionary psionics. Two - Blueblood - A genetically altered supersoldier with massively powerful telekinesis. Typhos - Rustblood - A mage with extremely sensitive psychic empathy. Byrron - Blueblood - The ship’s engineer and weapons expert. Enjoys making things go boom. Vallai - Mutant Blueblood (Sky) - A freelance non-Fleet junker who wound up getting caught after saving Darvai’s life. She can turn herself into water. Lilani (Lila) - Yellowblood - The ship’s battery who hijacked the ship’s AI. She communicates via computer-generated voice and images on the ship’s intercomm and screens, and also has access to the ship’s artillery- Allowing it to carry far heavier firepower than the ship’s small size would suggest.
Mad Dog Mercenaries [Tag]
A small ragtag group of mercenaries. They have a small office in the midblood business district which doubles as partial living quarters and a safe zone for its members. They were previously associated with the mob that Nebale worked for, but have since moved cities and gone ‘legit’ since the mob dissolved. Mad Dog typically works in “brute force”, aka providing clients with combatants, chaos, and destruction, but also moves illicit cargo (on the down-low) and has started branching into intel and hacking. Don (Mad Dog) - Candy Redblood/Hemoanon - A hulking hemoanon missing his right forearm, with multiple heavy weapons he uses in place of a cybernetic. Munitions and demolitions expert, and the brains behind Mad Dog’s operations. Nari (Bullets/Blades) - Ceruleanblood - General combatant and field weapons expert. He gets along with Don fairly well, on a professional level. Mattie (Fangs) - Jadeblood - A seven-sweep-old prodigy hacker. Died at 6 sweeps and became a rainbow drinker, and lost his Empire stipend so he had to get a job. Epic gamer and resident tech expert, often acts as the eyes and ears for Mad Dog via self-built camera drones and hacked feeds. Wires - A former semi-integrated helmsman for a private ship. Was picked up by Don when the ship was scrapped. A decently powerful telekinetic and is capable of making simple solid objects (Such as walls, blocks, stairs) out of psychic energy. Ike (Soldier) - Candy Redblood/Hemoanon - An old friend of Don’s and long-time mercenary, even before joining Mad Dog. Wolf shifter and melee combatant for Mad Dog. Tee (Glasses) - Tealblood - One of the first members of Mad Dog. A former legislacerator who ran afoul of the wrong people. Handles accounts, acquisitions, and major mechanic work. Nerizo (Nuke, C4) - Goldblood - Exactly as her callsign implies, Nerizo serves primarily as a professional wrecking ball for Mad Dog. She’s working on other skills outside of combat. Mad Dog appreciates her surprising cooking ability.
Valley Cavern [Tag]
An ancient and massive brooding cavern largely isolated from the surface. The cavern is split into multiple clans which have risen and fallen over the cavern’s long history. There is considerable infighting between the clans as they vie for available resources and positions of power within the cavern. Chel - Jadeblood - An Astaki warrior serving outwardly as a well-respected knight, and secretly serving as a spy for her clan.

Considering real historical matriarchies (the one I know a lot about is the Haudenosaunee/Iroquois Confederacy) still had misogyny and male chauvinism, with the primary difference being that the leader of the family unit (and of macro-family units like the longhouse, clan, and nation) was the head woman of the family and not the head man, I think Alternia (and presumably also Beforus) does pretty neatly slide in as a matriarchy. It's an important reminder that "patriarchy" doesn't mean "rule by men" it means "rule by fathers" and that its opposite, rule by mothers, isn't opposite in the sense of not having misogyny, which I'm sure most feminists would agree with.
i would love to agree with you here but uh i think the family structure of Alternia & Beforus is quite notably too alien to fit into this analysis chhdhxhdjdjshx like there are no mothers or fathers in troll culture, i think that whilst technically inaccurate, Porrim’s “fuchsia down matriarchy, purple down patriarchy” does a darn good job anglicising the actual trollian political structures at play. great point though!

Not to worry, the decorating is already done for you in this 2006 traditional stone home in Heath, Texas. 4bds, 5ba, $1.6M + $86mo. HOA fee.
Nice grand entrance hall (does the hat on the pole convey?) and already I see a fuchsia room.
Huge open concept space. The kitchen is right there, next to the living room, if you like that kind of layout.
I don't care much for the stone on the fireplace, though.
The kitchen is very large, but are those laminate cabinets?
The living room and kitchen both look like laminate, which reminds me of the '70s. But, it does have a nice backsplash.
The kitchen also has a nice pantry.
The formal dining room has a big floating sideboard with shelving right up to the ceiling.
They have a bar in the pantry and the other side leads to another dining room, the fuchsia one.
Nice mural. So, this must be an entertaining space b/c of its close proximity to the bar. It could be a sitting room, too.
The primary bedroom has a feature wall and I can't tell if that's part of the headboard or the wall. I would hope that the floating nightstands are conveying, too.
This is the en-suite. It's nice. Love the Dale Chihuly knock-off fixture above.
Now, this is cool- laundry, extra fridge, and dog bath station.
Looks like a guest room.
Nice bath, kind of looks like jade.
Now, this looks like a decorated hallway, where you can sit and stare at the wall, I guess.
Family room with a kitchenette.
Looks like a TV room.
Outside is a beautiful pool.
A big outdoor kitchen.
Plus an outdoor living room.
The lot measures 1 acre.

How to deal with your teenage daughter while also dealing with a virus
Summary: Uzi unfortunately gets infected with a virus at work, forcing her to return home to tough it out. With N unable to come home to care for her, she luckily has one other person she can rely on.
“Are you sure I don’t need to come over and take of you?” N – or rather: N in the little box in the corner of Uzi’s vision – asked.
Uzi rolled her eyes – the little video call box rolled around as well -, quickly followed by a coughing fit. She couldn’t help but to feel endeared by her husband’s concerned look.
“I’ll be fine, N.” She assured, waving her hand in a dismissive manner. “It’s just – “
She started coughing again. She grabbed the bottle of vitamin coolant off the table and quickly took a large swig. She slammed the bottle down, wiping her mouth. “It’s nothing.”
“You caught a virus, Uzi.” N emphasized. “Just let me tell the guys there’s an emergency at home and-“
“N, you’re a leading figure in the Copper-9’s Planetary Security Force. You can’t just leave. Besides, it’s only for a few more hours ‘for your shift ends.” Uzi reminded him. She resisted the urge to giggle when she saw his sad expression. “I’m feeling fine, you big goof. I’ll be bright as snow in a couple of days, you’ll see.”
N stared her down, his expression frowned, but after a few moments he let out a relented sigh. “Okay, I’ll yield, but if you start to feel worse-“
“I’ll call, I promise.” Uzi giggled. “Now get back to work, honey.”
N smiled. “Okay. See you tonight.”
“Can’t wait.” Uzi replied, smiling brightly as she waited until N would end the video call. The moment the little box vanished from the corner of her vison, she let out a long groan and let herself fall backwards on the couch. Her processor felt like it was gonna pop out of her visor, the way it was aching. She didn’t like to lie to N, but he already could be such a worrywart on normal days – even if it was something she loved about him, the silly man. It was true she was gonna be fine in a couple of days, but she was far from feeling anything close to fine right now.
Honestly, she felt like crap.
It was a new type of virus that had been popping up with mostly the newer generations of Worker Drone frameworks. It wasn’t anything dangerous – in fact, it was pretty much harmless – but it would wreak havoc on a drone’s primary systems, like heating regulations, coolant regulators, fluctuating energy surges and involuntary steam discharge in the nasal sensors.
Basically, it was the Drone’s version of what humans would call ‘having a severe cold’. A patch was being developed to help combat this, but the effectiveness wasn’t anywhere near being perfect. It had 50-50 percent chance of catching on, and even then there was only a 30 percent change of successful deletion of the virus.
And it seemed that Uzi had all the bad luck with the patch she was given.
She groaned again, reaching behind her head to fluff up the pillow. The sound of the door opening and slamming shut caught her attention, followed by a grumbling female voice.
“-stupid homework, stupid TJ that won’t stop flirting with me, stupid-“
“Nix?!” Uzi called out. “Something wrong?”
“Mom?” the voice answered in surprise. A young female worker Drone peeked her head into the living room. Uzi and N’s 16-year old daughter: Nicole “Nix” Doorman. Her straight silver hair with streaks of dyed fuchsia reached to her shoulders and seemed to dance with every movement she made. She wore her favourite jacket – which coincidentally and “totally not by choice, dad” looked like a shorter version of her father’s trademark fur collar coat. She wore Uzi’s old necklace around her neck. Her warm amber eyes looked surprised at her mother, which quickly turned to concern when she noticed the state Uzi was in.
“Mom, what are you doing here? You look sick. Are you sick?” She let out a frightened gasp. “Am I gonna be sick? You’re not gonna die, right? Where’s dad? Is he coming home soon? Can you help me with my homework later?”
“Nix, calm down.” Uzi couldn’t but laugh at her daughter’s antics. “Gosh, I swear, you inherited too much of your father’s code. The two of you are so much alike sometimes.”
“Should I take that as a compliment or do I need to go ‘angsty teen mode’?” Nix asked, but the glint her visor betrayed her amusement.
“Take it as a compliment, I don’t have the energy to deal with moody teenagers anymore for today.” Uzi joked.
“So, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing, just caught that new kiddie virus at work.” Uzi replied. “Got a bit to careless around the sick kids at the clinic and, well, you see what happened.” She rolled her eyes at her daughter’s concerned look. “You’re showing your fathers code again, sweetie. I’ll be fine in a couple of days.”
“You sure?” Nix asked, wringing her hands together. “I mean, you look like crap, mom.”
“Thank you for your brutal honesty and yes, I’m sure.” Uzi smiled reassuringly at her daughter. “My anti-virus software is a bit outdated, so it’s taking a bit more effort for to fight it.”
Nix took a step forward, but stopped herself. “Uh, it’s not contagious, right?”
“No, you’ll be safe, Nix.” Uzi reassured with a warm smile. “The clinic has given me their latest version of the med-patch, so at least we won’t- OOF.”
Nix had thrown herself into her mother’s arms, giving her a tight hug. Uzi smiled softly, caressing the young drone’s hair with one arm, while returning the hug with the other. “So, how was school?” Uzi asked. “Was it as bad as your grumbling made it seem?”
Nix let out a frustrated groan – Uzi immediately felt like she was looking at her younger self – slouching backwards on the couch. “Just the usual. Class felt like going on, like, forever; some classmates find it so funny when I’m eager to answer the teacher’s questions; and oh yeah, I called the teach ‘Auntie Liz’ again.”
“Well, she is your aunt, Nix.” Uzi shrugged. “Honorary or not. I’m sure Lizzy found it quite endearing. And what was I heard you say about TJ?”
“Like I said: ‘the usual’.”
Thad Junior, better known as TJ, was a young drone who went to the same school as Nix and had recently developed a bit of a unreciprocated crush on her. He was quite adamant to show her his affect, despite being a few years younger than Nix. It was actually somewhat cute. Uzi chuckled, which even intensified when her daughter shot her a look of betrayal. “Sorry, dear. Is that boy still so hung up on you?”
“Yeah, and no matter what I say, it won’t go through that thick cap of his that I am out of his age range.”
“You want me to talk to his father for you?”
Nix bounced her feet up and down, almost like she was considering the option. She let out a sigh. “Nah, it’s fine.” She answered. “TJ is annoying, but he’s a good kid. But he needs to realize that I don’t even…”
Uzi noticed how her daughter’s voice trailed off and the way she was kneading her jacket. “Nix?”
Nix sighed, giving her mom an exhausted look. “Being a teenager who’s still figuring herself out stuff is hard…”
Uzi smiled warmly at Nix, gently placing her hand on her daughter’s cheek. “Believe me, it is hard.” She pulled Nix against her, her core purring as the latter snuggled up against her mother. “But you got a good head on your shoulders and loving parents to help you whenever you need or want it. You’ll figure things out, Sparkplug.”
She gave her daughter a final squeeze and proceeded to shoo her off the couch, covering her mouth as she felt another series of cough bubble up. “Now, I need to rest and I believe I’ve heard you grumble something about homework as well?”
Nix’s shoulders dropped. “Yes, mom…”
“But before you do that, could you be a dear and heat me up some vegetable oil soup?” Uzi asked as she laid herself down on the couch.
“Sure thing, mom!” Nix answered enthusiastically with a salute – a near spitting image of N, Uzi noticed. She spun around and made her way to the kitchen.
“Oh, and could you add a shot of gasoline?” Uzi asked, grinning. “Don’t tell your dad, you know he doesn’t like it when I drink …without him.”
“’kay!”
“It’s un-“
“Under the cabinet with the family pictures, behind the box with Grandpa Khan’s lucky wrench, I know!” Nix froze, like someone who knew she had said a bit too much. “Oh ..cr-“
Uzi slowly sat up, her gaze slowly turning towards her daughter. “Nix, how do you know where your dad and I keep our liquor?”
Nix slowly turned around, a sheepish grin on her face and digital beads of sweat running down her visor. “Uh…”
“Answer your mother, Nicole V Doorman.” Uzi commander sternly, but calmly.
“I …know …because ….I …tried some?”
“You what?!”
Nix squeaked. “Before you get mad, we only tried a shot of the bottle of Lighter Fluid Cider, and –“
“Who’s we?”
“Eep…me and Avery…”
“Avery too? Nix …” Uzi facepalmed, feeling a headache coming on. “When did this happen?”
“Okay, okay, it was a couple of weeks ago, when Aunties V and Liz were looking after me while you and dad were on your date but it was actually Avery who found it – I told them she shouldn’t be snooping around, but you know them - and they asked their mums if they could try it, and Auntie V said ‘sure, you’re old enough but only a little bit’, so actually you should be mad a her, and- and -and …
Uzi held up a hand, shutting Nix up. “Me and V are gonna have a serious conversation about this…” She took a deep breath. “Have you since then drunk it again?”
“No, I didn’t really like it.”
“And nothing of the harder stuff?”
“No, honestly!”
“Have you considered it?”
“…uh, once or twice?” Nix answered truthfully. “BUT I DIDN’T-“
“I believe you, I believe you.” Uzi quickly said. She crossed her arms, looking up at the ceiling with a sigh.
“Am I in trouble?” Nix asked nervously. “Please, don’t tell dad…he’s gonna give me those sad eyes he does whenever he’s disappointed in something.”
“Oh, believe me, your dad is gonna hear about this.” Uzi assured. She couldn’t help but smirk when she saw her daughter stammering and trying to come up with a reason why he shouldn’t know. She sighed. “However …considering V and Lizzy said you could and were when it happened, and it was something light as that ….I’m just glad you didn’t go for the hard stuff.”
“Avery tried, but Auntie V caught her before she could take a sip.” She chuckled nervously. “She’s normally so …mellow. I didn’t know she could get angry like that….”
“Oh, she can….” Uzi gave her daughter a stern look. “Listen, you’re 16 years old, and I’m not gonna pretend I never did anything stupid at your age.”
“Yeah, I heard the story of how you and dad met, mom.”
“Really not the time for sass, missy.”
“Yes, mom. Sorry, mom.”
Uzi couldn’t help but grin. “What I’m saying is ….if you feel like trying something stupid …I rather you’d do it at home, where me and your father can keep an eye on things, than out there, okay?”
Nix smiled. “Okay, mom.”
“You promise?”
“I promise.”
“Attagirl.”
“Does that mean I could try some magnets?”
“Don’t push your luck, Nix.”
“Kidding, kidding.” Nix let out a sigh of relief, presenting her mother a wide smile. “How about making you that soup, eh? I mean, if you still want it….”
“That’d be great, Nix.” Uzi replied with a soft smile, which quickly turned to a stern expression. “And then: homework.”
“Yes, mom!” Nix disappeared into the kitchen, humming a cheerful song. That was another thing that showed she was truly N’s daughter as well: her ability to just …deal with certain situations quickly. A whole lot better adjusted than Uzi was at that age.
Uzi sighed and while Nix was busy in the kitchen, she opened up her internal texting app and started sending messages to N.
U: [N, you’ll need to come up with a few extra chores for Nix this weekend.]
N’s reply almost came immediately.
N: [Oh no, what did she do? Not the trash compactor again?]
U: [No, not that. I’ll tell you later, but I dealt with it for now. We’re gonna need to have a talk with V and Lizzy, though.]
N: [Oh, boy…]
U: [As for Nix, I already put the fear of robo-God in her, so try to go easy on her.]
N: [Uh-huh, of course you did. (sarcastic)]
Uzi giggled silently.
N: [Okay, see later. Give Nix my love, will you?]
U: [I will. Say ‘hi’ to Dad for me.]
N: [‘kay. Bye! ;-)]
U: [Dork]
N: [Short]
Hubby has left the chat.
Uzi bursted out in giggles, making a curious Nix pop her head out the kitchen. “What’s so funny?”
“Oh, just your dad.” Uzi replied, a sly grin forming on her face. “He sends you his love and says that you’re are in heap of trouble, young lady.”
By the smirk that was forming on Nix’s face, Uzi could tell she wasn’t buying it. She let out an exaggerated wail, falling on her knees and threw her hands up in the air. “Oh, why, cruel Robo-Jesus, have I both been blessed and cursed with attentive parents who want nothing but the best for me?”
“And the award for best performance goes to-“
The two ladies started laughing. Nix scrambled up, dusting off her legs. “Anyway, the soup is heating up on the stove and I’m gonna get started on my homework. It’s about “The rise and fall of JCJsenson” and its connection with Copper-9’s independence.”
“Oh, you better get started, then.” She shooed her away with a smile. “Go on, off with you.”
“Going!” Nix spun around and walked in the direction of her room. “Just yell if you need something!”
Uzi smiled warmly as she watched her daughter disappear from sight. She had no doubt that Nix would be better than herself and N combined. With a heavy sigh, she laid back down again, her head still aching.
She hated being sick. That virus could bite her.

Can I just ramble on about the color symbolism in the Ace Attorney series?
Spoilers for like all games in the franchise under the cut
We all know the classic "Phoenix is dressed in blue and Miles in red" trope. Showing that they are opposites and yet fit together perfectly because of that contrast.
But I've yet to see anyone talk about how when you include the full trio with Larry, from their childhood on they are the primary colors. Meaning they are all different and yet all fit together in a certain way!
Or how the Von Karmas all have a blue motive going on and how Miles' court debut outfit has that splash of blue with it to show his connection to the Von Karmas while still keeping red as his primary color and showing how different he is from them.
Or how Maya wears purple, the color that's right between blue and red, showing how she's in between both Phoenix and Miles and plays an important part in both their lives.
Same with Pearl and her lighter pink colors. Showing how she has a connection to Maya but is still her own person.
And then there is Apollo! Oh boy Apollo!
Like how Phoenix and Miles have opposite colors, Apollo has his strong bright red and Kristoph has his light periwinkle/lavender colors showing just how different they really are. And Klavier's weird maroon/dark fuchsia colors are kinda an in-between of Apollo's and Kristoph's colors and it shows his connections to both of them.
And then Athena joins the team and with her the entire law group of the WAA is once again the primary colors! And Athena wearing all bright yellow (which is the most noticeable color on the spectrum) being a contrast to Simon's black and white.
Oh and you thought I was done with Apollo? THINK AGAIN! BECAUSE NOW WE ARE BRINGING IN TRUCY! With Polly and Trucy once again having a red blue parallel going on, only this time it's cause they are half-siblings!!! And that doesn't stop there cause Trucy's colors also reflect Phoenix and how she is his daughter but also Thalassa's daughter cause Thalassa is also associated with blue. And at first Trucy was wearing pink to go with her own father but changed it to said blue to match her new father.
And Thalassa also having a blue red theme going on with her being the blue themed one and both her husbands; Jove and Zak, being red themed and once again showing parallels between each other!!!!
And even in SoJ the themes keep going!!! With Nayhuta having a similar color pallet to that of Kristoph, paralleling once again Apollo. And Yuty's color theme is also paralleling that of his mother; Amara and how Rayfa is paralleling her father Dhurke! And Dhurke's blue tones once again paralleling both Apollo and Jove.
And you thought I'm done again? Ooohhohho you are still so wrong cause then we still have the Skye sisters to talk about. How both Lana and Ema have some red/pink themes going on but Lana is all tinted in dark colors and shades of dark red while Ema is all in pastel and pink and brighter colors. And then Ema gets older and becomes a detective and she gets tints of green in her design- and you know who else has a green theme? GUMSHOE!! OUR MAIN DETECTIVE GUY!!!
And Kay in the investigation games has a blue pink theme going on being similar to Maya in that she is wearing two colors of opposite that merge into one, shaping how she is affecting Miles' life and those around her. Or how Simon K and Horace have another pink turquoise theme going on shaping their parallels and history.
AND SEBASTIAN!!! HIS BLUE RED COLOR THEME ALREADY CONTRASTING HIMSELF IS SUCH A GOOD CHOICE. With the red being a parallel to both Miles and him as a prosecutor but also his father Blaise and their history and speaking of Blaise: we know he has history with Manfred and it's assumed that they also worked together with Damon Gant.
And you wanna know what? YOU REALLY WANNA KNOW??? THOSE THREE TOGETHER HAVE THE PRIMARY COLORS AGAIN!!!
And then there's even the GAA games but dear god I'm not gonna get into that one other than how Ryu and Kazuma both started out with the dark black colors, with Kazuma being red adjacent and Ryu having that blue theme going on again (in his DLC bonus outfit at least) and how later on they still have the tiny hint of red/blue but now with black and white. JUST LIKE THE JURY SYSTEM IN THAT GAME. IT'S ALL CONNECTED GUYS!!!

Big 'ol list of scrying tips
Putting them under a readmore bc oh boy is this long:
A lot of the fest genes in general are both great to use and often dirt cheap on the AH, provided you have the right ancient.
Crystalline is the king of tert savers. The ice is all clear and faded, so it dials down the saturation of the color a lot. It can even make some colors like driftwood look white.
Trickmurk is another good option because of the darkness, but the color’s a little more obvious with that one.
Rockbreaker can also be a great gene, because it changes drastically depending on the color.
Greenskeeper looks great with a lot of colors too!
Another way to see if unsalvageable colors can be saved is to look at genes with more than one color. All colors have one main secondary color that shows in genes like blend. But that color can change depending on the gene. For example, lemon fade gives the dragon red accents, but lemon noxtide gives blue instead!
Some genes can introduce different accent colors than the typical secondary, and radically change what the color looks like. You can take advantage of this by matching accents to main colors, or accents to accents to tie the whole dragon together.
Sailfish and marlin tend to make things paler with accent colors.
Boa/saddle gives these big spots of color that can be very striking.
Metallic and alloy can make things much darker.
Poison and toxin can have a lot of dramatic color changes, with the bonus of being cheaper than most genes if you have the brewing resources.
If you’re willing to try it, then mosaic usually has more unique accent colors.
And sometimes flair can make a color go absolutely insane, like with iris.
If you have the gems, iridescent and shimmer can drastically change the color. Just remember that since the gradients are hand drawn, the effect changes depending on breed.
Black and white go with every color. So piebald/paint and pharaoh/sarcophagus could be useful. If gem genes are on the table and you have a dragon with a primary and secondary that are close but just don't match like you want them to, then pharaoh/sarc can create the illusion of a double.
Harlequin and jester in general just go nuts with colors.
Of course there’s always stained and spines, but a lot of people consider that the easy way out. You could also try soap since it dyes the body like stained, but also gives a tinge of color in certain regions. That, and it's pricey.
Most of the eyespots on Peacock are taken up by the secondary color, which is useful if you want to obscure the main tert color.
Capsule is a great one since, like irishim, it has a gradient that can completely change how a color looks. Plus it's a baldwin gene, so if you have the mats then it's cheap to get. Opal too, for the same reasons (except price).
One I discovered while making this is that for some colors, orb/weaver makes only a small gradient the base color while the rest is a secondary. Orchid weaver makes the wings almost entirely blue, for example.
There are a few “special” colors who have unique effects on genes.
One of the most famous is radioactive, which will make a lot of genes look like lisa frank grew up and became a scene kid. Tons of eyeburners get a lot of mileage out of this color
Magenta (and to a slightly lesser extent fuchsia) and orchid are also very eyeburner-y colors. They both introduce intense blues, pinks, and purples.
Banana gives genes like pinstripe and flair a very cool rainbow effect.
Orca makes almost everything stark black and white, and imo orca tiger is a good look at what tiger should’ve been.
Metals pairs gold and silver for a lot of genes, like wasp.
Lapis really likes to include yellow with its genes, like with boulder and myrid. Gives it a starry night look.
Sunset likes to include a lot of purple and red gradients.
Obsidian gives red accents to a lot of genes.
The accent colors of Rose, fuchsia, and pearl are great for lesbian, bis, and trans flag dragons.
Don’t always give in to new breed hype. Sometimes the staff will give you a pair of eggs when a new breed releases, so you can have two of that breed for free. And a lot of people will only scry them as that breed. So often times if a color combo doesn’t look good with the genes that breed has on launch, the dragon will be sold off at a lower price on the AH.
My favorite example is dusthides. I have a dusty that's ultramarine/carribean/driftwood, and the best I can do with her as a dusthide is stained, spines, and maybe veil, wavecrest, or pachy.
So I scried her as an auraboa, and guess what? She’s stunning.
And the dragon was 60 freaking gems, with matching eyes. She would make an incredible water rep (if I didn't already have Riptide).
Auraboas in general are basically a cheat code when it comes to scrying. They have incredible genes that can completely change how a dragon looks, plus a lot of tert savers. Boa, mochlus, paradise, I can go on.
And the number one rule: never, ever scry as an imperial. You'll just make yourself sad.
