Once Danny was an adult, he decided to join Ellie in her ‘permanent world tour’. It’s better than staying in Amity where the opinion of Phantom hasn’t gotten much better. Besides, the portal caused the veil to get weaker, allow ghost to wreak havoc where ever they want.

He’s met a lot new ghost cause of this too. Old as Mycenaean Greece to non humans who came to Earth and died there. Danny’s learnt so much from them that he’s basically a walking in Encyclopaedia.

So, Danny’s decided “fuck it.” and has it became a part-time history teacher. It’s fun! He knows the details by heart and is able to make it more fun than just droning on about the same old wars and whatever. He enjoys it, the kids enjoy it and the ghosts having their stories told!

Of course, this does cause some problems when people try to correct him. Danny’s argument? “I got them correct sources.”

And when anyone asks him how knows his sources are correct? “My source was there when it happened.”

Cue the dc world thinking that Danny’s just some immortal guy whose decided to use his immortality for good(TM)

Absolutely love the idea that Gorgug is the most popular kid in his artificer classes. They’re his biggest fans and he is theirs. He makes the best and silliest inventions and everyone loves to help him out with it. They come up with new ways to help him rage and cast spells. He gets into SO many hijinks with them.

ok because why have I not realized until now that yoojin was highkey abandoned by the people he was meant to depend on for his entire youth (aka his PARENTS) before also being abandoned horribly by the one person he had left in his life and it fundamentally altered his mindset into one which believes that once he's unneeded by someone they'll simply fuck right out of his life, leaving him either scrambling to make himself as useful as possible, or depressed as shit as he accepts they're ultimately going to leave him, and this mindset actually has him by the balls the entire novel lowkey

Stan arrives in Gravity Falls when Ford is at the height of his Bill worship.

The brothers meet, fight and get swiftly cursed to 

hold hands or die ♡

Turns out there is a very simple solution to the curse. 

All you have to do is let go first, and you will be perfectly fine and alive.

The other one dies in agony 10 seconds later, though. 

Both Stan and Ford refuse to even consider that option, and bind their hands together to prevent accidents.

Over the next week or two, they do not so much make up as get used to each other's company again. It’s almost impossible to stay mad at someone and ignore them if you’re holding hands 24/7 and have to suppress a laugh every time they make a silly snide comment.

Despite Bill's protest, Ford realizes he missed Stan more than he ever thought was possible and is almost ready to ask him if he wants to stay in Gravity Falls after the curse is broken.

The very next night, Ford wakes up screaming to the worst pain imaginable. 

He is dying.

Stan stands above him with wide eyes and just watches. The bindings around their hands are cut off, and Ford’s hand is free. This was no accident.

With his last bit of strength, Ford reaches out and grabs Stan’s hand. 

The pain is gone in an instant, but the realization of what just happened hurts much more than dying.

Bill has been right all along. Stan couldn’t be trusted.

He wants Ford dead.

Idk how I never made a full sheet for my Athena design so here’s an updated sheet of her casual and battle-mode clothes :D you have no idea how much pain and suffering went into me stubbornly trying to keep her feathers brown while keeping some part of her blue like QT and so odysseus can have a blue cloak inspired by her. Trying to make brown work with blue was like trying to mash two magnets with the same charge together. Also I honestly love the idea of her using her wing cape to fly but at the same time i don’t want her losing one side of it to affect her flying… so idk…

one of my favorite things about dps is the completely irrelevant background conversations/comments you’re probably not meant to hear but are still just barely audible? like the two guys in the study room arguing over their turns on the dart board, or the guys laughing under their breath and making ridiculing remarks when knox reads out his poem for chris, or the people in the opening scenes you can hear finding their friends and saying hi. it literally doesn’t matter at all, but it makes it feel so much realer and like you’ve really just been dropped into the setting with todd on the first day.

THIS CHAPTER WAS BOTH FUN & FUNNY!!! 😆 Plus, IT'S ANOTHER MUTI-PARTER!?!? 😵 (We haven't had a chapter split into multiple parts since Mission 67, back in 2022!! 😌)

That's right folks, we got ourselves another chapter split into parts, and it's a fun one so far!! �� Endo has done this three times before this chapter with Missions 58 (2 parts), 62 (3 parts), and 67 (2 parts); so now I wonder how many parts will this chapter have (my guess is that it's gonna be a two parter...! 👌😌) But enough of all that mumbo jumbo that probably only I care about, let's finally talk about the chapter in question, shall we...? 😉

So this chapter begins with Twilight trying to wake up Anya because it's time for her to return to Eden...!! 😲

But... Since Anya is freaking relatable AS HELL, she doesn't want to go and tries to come up with anything to get out of going back to school, even claiming to be sick...!! 👌😌 Loid, of course, doesn't believe her, but since Yor is the best mom ever, she wants to make absolutely sure that Anya isn't actually sick, which leads to this:

At school, Anya (who actually thought about this before Twilight woke her up) tries to find out from Damian if his dad can truly read minds by asking "What's your dad like? Is he super scary?", but...:

...It didn't really work, so Anya gave up immediately... 😅 This girl, I swear...!! 😌

Then, two of Anya's classmates come to greet her and Becky, AND NOW THEY FINALLY HAVE NAMES!! 😆

We've seen Connie and Meg pop up in several other chapters before this one, but now they are officially out of the "Characters Who Have Shown Up Multiple Times, But Don't Have A Name" Club...!! 🎊 And I'm especially excited that Connie has a name now because she was featured in one of the early Omakes and even Franky commented on her (as seen in the image below):

Which in turn had made me wonder if Anya and her would eventually become friends at some point...!! 😄 Well, that time might be now because Anya was just reminded that she and everyone else will all be in different classes now (though, Becky specifies that they'll only be in different classes for the subjects that were on the test, so at least they'll still have some classes together...!)

Speaking of which, we see that Anya and Damian have at least have Language Studies together, so that's good...!! 😁 Then, Anya heads to her next class with a bunch of new faces and some that we recognize, including Arnold Crowley and Connie, who got pushed by someone, then Anya read her mind and well...:

...She's actually kinda scary...! 😰

So um, yeah... I'm not 100% sure if her and Anya will be friends quite yet...! 😅 Then, we get introduced to two other kids; some prince from the north named Tertius...:

...Who might've just become a favorite of mine...!! 😆 (I think that he's pretty dang funny so far...!! 😂)

Closed Eyes Kid apparently flicked a booger onto that Tertius kid and now he's got to GET RID OF THE EVIDENCE before anyone notices...!! 😎:

So when Closed Eyes Kid tried to get rid of the booger on Tertius' face, Tertius just kept dodging him, and now it seems that these two are gonna fight each other...!! 😵

And that's the end of the chapter!! Anya is sure having an eventful day on first day back at Eden...!! 😌

This chapter was really fun, I loved it!! 😄 I honestly hope that Anya makes some new friends, especially with Closed Eyes Kid (he's my favorite so far 😁), Connie (maybe? 🤷) and possibly Arnold Crowley (he actually seems like a pretty nice kid so far...! 👌😌)

So yeah, I'm excited for the next half of this chapter and pretty sure that it's just gonna be a two parter (though, who knows at this point because I never know what Endo is gonna do...!! 😌) Anyway, until the next Mission; take care, be safe out there and be kind to one another...!! Hold on. Middle schoolers in America know more about sunni and shia then protestants and Catholics? If this is real this is fascinating to me

I feel like because of segregation this isn’t as uncommon as people think it is it’s just that based on the demographics of this website’s users most probably went to school in the suburbs where there was less religious racial ethnic and national diversity. At the time I was teaching in a majority-minority school in a community with a lot of refugees and recent arrivals. The class that had never heard of Protestantism was probably about half Muslim and half Hispanic Catholic. I had a few-odd kids who were adventist or zoroastrian or orthodox but I think in an room like that having never heard of Protestantism before makes sense.
