hey everyone! i recently decided to explore roblox as a game developing medium (ive only ever used scratch and visual novel engines prior to this) and i think my game turned out pretty nice.

its a multivariety hangout space. what do i mean by multivariety? that means that you can hang out, roleplay (there are morphs), and go talk to NPCs. theres lore in the game that im pretty happy with! and TONS of secrets. around the map youll find hidden morphs, secret characters and hidden areas. im so excited to show you all...

It took me a long time to realize that any tag on Tumblr with the suffix -CORE after it is bullshit. Every single one of them is either used by bot farms to crank out content that will get the algorithm to notice them, desperate people who want to become famous on Tumblr for some reason or drop shippers trying to sell you shit. Doesn’t matter what it is. This also applies to dark academia and light academia, which are also bullshit categories that apparently don’t mean anything. Like you can just post a photo of a cat and tag it as light academia and it will qualify. I have seen decor that literally looks like it was photographed in an IKEA showroom tagged as light academia. Bad photos or poorly-composed pictures will be tagged as oddcore. An empty hallway? Oddcore. Any photo at night is going to be tagged Nightcore. They don’t mean anything. I’m a little disappointed. I just assumed that these suffix-appended tags were similar to hardcore punk that would imply a rigid, fanatical devotion to the scene but it doesn’t. If anything, it’s just a loose amalgamation of mostly unrelated stuff to try to Astroturf a trend.

NiGHTS: Into Dreams is a fun game where you smile giddily ear to ear as soon as Nights appears on the screen and don’t stop grinning and laughing with glee until you get a game over and your smile slowly falls as you mutter to yourself in confusion as you realize you don’t actually know how to play the game so you decide to play something else instead yet you are having less fun than in that moment despite having full knowledge of your goals and actions
