Scripture for Every Season: Verses to Encourage You Through Life’s Ups and Downs
Life is full of highs and lows, but God’s Word is a steady source of comfort and strength. No matter what season you’re in, these verses can encourage and uplift you. When You Need Strength “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 When You Feel Anxious “Do…

Christianity is not about taking the moral high ground, and thanking God that we aren’t horrible sinners like the rest of the world.
In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
Becoming a follower of Christ means becoming more aware of our failures, and of how we fall short of God’s holy standard. It’s a life of acknowledging that we can’t get to heaven on our own, and giving our lives to the only one who can make us righteous before God.
It’s when we do this that, while we don’t become lights of the world, we are able to point to the one who is.
His light fills us to the brim, to the point where we run over. This is how Jesus continues to shine his light in this dark world, through his children.
We are not the light, but are called to be witnesses of the light. We are called to carry out the deeds of our Father in the light, because he is the light. What is done in the light, cannot be done in darkness.
This means that we must live holy, as he is holy. We must let his light shine in this world, because it desperately needs to hear his message. This world of darkness must be lit up with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
The Christian life is a life of imitating Christ the Lord. His love that he has shown us both on the cross, and in how he lived his life, demands a life long response. It’s through our humbleness before him that we become the lanterns of the Holy Spirit to shine in this world of darkness and decay.
The Christian life is not a life of perfection or self righteousness, but a life of constant repentance and humility before the Lord. It’s acknowledging the futility of trying to be righteous in our own, and letting his righteousness flow through us.
We can’t let the light shine if we dim it with the mask of our self righteousness. God is trying to call those around us to himself, not to his to servants.
It’s through Christ we are saved, not ourselves or our works.
Let’s start acting like it.
God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️

Did God create evil?
Many wonder, did God create evil?
At first glance, it seems simple—no. But if God created everything, where does evil come from?
To understand, I like to consider the nature of cold and darkness. Cold doesn't truly exist, does it? Cold is merely the absence of heat. Similarly, darkness isn’t a substance, but the absence of light. We can study light and warmth, but cold and darkness are only defined by what is missing.
You can’t add "cold" onto something; you can only remove heat, as known as the movement of particles; from it. In the same way, darkness is simply the absence of light, because light is the well known observable and measurable active force.
Likewise, evil is not something God created but rather what occurs when His presence is absent from our hearts. Love and faith, like warmth and light, bring life and meaning. Without them, the coldness of evil emerges.
Thus, while God created everything, evil arises when we turn away from Him, leaving a void where His goodness should reside.

Christianity is like washing dishes
Before we all go crazy here... Yes, I said it! Christianity is like washing dishes!!
Before I get tomatoes thrown at me. Let me tell you the backstory/origin and explain...
So the origin of this analogy started early in the morning at 3 am or somewhere around there. I was talking to a very good friend of mine on the phone and since she's Muslim, I wanted to share Christ with her. But I didn't know how so I prayed and told God he could take the lead on this one. And he told me to say something like this [because I can't remember exactly what I said but although GOD COOKED].
Now on to the analogy... Christianity is like washing dishes!
Imagine the scene of washing dishes. The dirty dishes, the sink, it's water, the dish soap, the sponge, and the dishwasher.
Perfect! Now look at the dishes as us, God's creation. And now look at the dirt as Sin. Then the sink as God, the sponge as Jesus Christ, the water as God's love, the dish soap as God's grace/Jesus's blood, and the dishwasher as Heaven. Just hang in there with me, okay?
As you know how to wash dishes, in order for the dishes to dry or be used again is that they have to be clean, correct?
Just like how we have to have no sin to be with God.
Isaiah 59:2
But your wrongs have separated you from your God, and your sins have made Him hide his face.
As you can tell GOD HATES SIN [I'll post the verses on this topic after this post]
And the penalty for SIN is DEATH, but Jesus [who is pure and NEVER sinned] payed that price. The perfect lamb for the slaughter, that's why in the old testament when people sin, they have to have a clean animal for they have not sinned and have to be killed in order not to have eternal death/going to Hell.
Romans 6:23
The payment for sin is death, but the gift that God freely gives is everlasting life found in Jesus Christ.
Now back to the analogy! We are the dirty dishes, God is the sink, and Jesus is the sponge.
Now since God holds everything, He is the sink. And we sinners [the dishes] need Him, but how can we be reunited with no sin in between us? That's where the sponge/Jesus comes in! The sponge is clean of dirt and the dish soap is God's grace/Jesus's blood, so when you put the two together it's the cure for sin!!
We are first rinsed with God's love, then Jesus washes away OUR sins with HIS blood, and we receive more of God's undeserving love. But in order to obtain all of these things is by making a choice to follow Him and continue to have faith in our Lord and Savior.
This is one of the very important things God said that I remember while telling my friend this.
"Keep coming back to me and everything will be okay" Romans 8:1
So those who are believers in Christ Jesus can no longer be condemned.
Welp, I hope you enjoyed this post! If you are in need of more explanation [My apologies, since I cannot explain things very well...], or just wanna talk about a subject or topic, shoot me a message on here or my discord which is in My About Me! God bless you all! Jesus loves you!!!

I pray you will be reminded of the Lord's goodness as you enter this new month! You are blessed, my friend :)
These lyrics are from the song "You Keep on Getting Better" by Maverick City Music. I encourage you to listen to it and let the truth of who our God is wash over you.

I was hoping some of you could pray for my cousin’s baby, Ezra. To my knowledge, he’s coughing up “red stuff” (I’m unaware of what it is), and his lungs have liquid in them. He’s currently in the ICU. Any prays would be appreciated.
Thank you, and God bless ✝️❤️

I was wondering if you could pray for a few people:
My dad, who has been hospitalized for having issues with his intestines.
My cousin’s step sibling, who has been hospitalized after being hit by a car.
My great aunt who has broken her arm.
My aunt’s mother, who has just lost her brother.
Cecil Pearson’s family (he was a preacher I followed on YouTube and he passed away a few days ago).
My grandfather, who’s having a myriad of health concerns.
Thank you for your prayers, God bless, Jesus loves you all very much 🙏✝️❤️

One of the priests at my local church has ended up in the hospital.
I haven’t been told the details, but if you could keep him in your prayers, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God bless ✝️❤️
