watched Mark’s playthrough of Into The Pit so I had motivation to redo my Oswald design/story in my AU. He use to be Deacon’s foster kid but I changed it to make more sense and have Oswald more independent/small ‘foil’ to Gregory (in terms of upbringing and motivations). I like it a LOT more now.

I’m incorporating Fazbear Frights characters into the AU but a LOT of them are mixed together to not have it overinflated. Oswald (Into the Pit) is mixed with Greg (Fetch).

Lemme introduce y'all to the two new curses added to Parlourverse :D

Will to Win

A curse evolved from the fusion of Strength to Survive and Warmth of Life, activated when Elizabeth Afton's experiments tried to scrub Gregory's soul of memories and render his Remnant blank for being consumed by William Afton. Will to Win is a reflection of Gregory's determination to overcome any opposition to his goals, whatever that goal happens to be in the moment. Where Strength to Survive can be seen as 'selfish' in that Mike would deem his own survival to return to his loved ones his greater priority, Gregory's Will to Win takes into account others affected by those he chooses as his opponent. He moves forward not just for himself but for the sake of others as well.

Will to Win enhances Gregory's natural strength, allowing him to endure injuries and situations that would normally be debilitating to a child or prevent such injuries to some degree. It also allows for sustainability during hardship by rapidly healing his body and mind through damage caused by the Afton experiments and limited access to resources within the Pizzaplex. While not a constant healing ability, Will to Win times the bursts of healing to be of optimal help, either by keeping him healthy enough to pass through difficult situations so he can escape or speeding up recovery time after major events to enable him to be prepared for another one sooner.

Memory Sight

A curse born from Oswald's inclination to observe the world around him for inspiration and reminiscing, formed from heavy contamination of Remnant that was gathered within the replica Spring Bonnie animatronic hidden in the ball pit of Jeff's Pizza. Memory Sight grants Oswald the ability to detect and visualize Remnant in the form of the memories stored within it, allowing him to edit those memories at will and change the Remnant. He used this ability in Jeff's Pizza to edit the memories of the children who were killed there into believing themselves to have escaped their fates, allowing them to pass on and no longer be bound to Pit Bonnie.

Oswald doesn't quite understand that he is under this curse or that this is something he can do, believing his experience to have been some sort of time travel and effect of high stress.
