Rat here. I've been having a lot of feelings and thoughts lately and I just kinda wanted to ramble into the void lmao.

Lately I've been rewatching Marble Hornets, something I used to be obsessed with 5 ish years ago (Roughly when I was 18, the obsession never really left, other things just covered it up lmao) and at that time those few years ago I was in a really dark place, and during the peak of the bad, Tim came into our system (HABIT came a few months/a year later i believe).

Fast forward a few months/a year or so from the Big Bad that was me being 18/19 ish , and Tim's still there, he didn't come forward as much, kinda just chilled in the back.

And even now, nearly 5 years later, he's still here. He's not the most active, and he doesn't try to co-front very often, nor does he interact with us a lot, but he's still here. He's stepped in when things got to be too much and HABIT or myself weren't suited to handle things, he's made sure I know I'm not alone, that he's there for support if I ever need it, and honestly? I appreciate him a lot. He's been through hell and back, both in his own experiences and the ones he goes through in this body as well, and I realize I don't say 'thank you' or 'I appreciate you' nearly enough.

Honestly the more I look inside myself and think about system stuff, the more grateful I am for my headmates and everything they do. Even just small things like Tim reminding me that the water bottle needs to be washed after a few days to prevent mold, or HABIT co-fronting whenever I'm scared of something, because as far as I'm aware, he's not really afraid of anything.

We support each other, through various gestures, and I just wanted to say I appreciate them a lot. It's little things like that that make the trauma and mental illnesses more bearable. It's never easy, and it's never *going* to be easy, but these assholes (affectionately) make existing better, and I'm grateful to share a body with them <3

We started state testing at our school today and we're already losing our marbles. Sitting still so long in such a quiet room is slowly chipping away at our patience I swear. By the time we could go back to our classes we were so under stimulated we had to shake our hands around and deal with our neck twitching until we were fine again.
