rant post about freddy vs jason under the cut so if you like hearing a gay person talk about their gay little interests then read on

ok idc what anyone says jason CLAPPED. freddy in freddy vs jason. jason ROCKED FREDDYS SHIT. freddy really resurrected jason and then was like “ohhhhh fuck. why cant this guy die. he cant die??? guys i fucked up” LIKE?? yeah jason takes. a LOT. of hits. but he ALWAYS gets back up AND DONT THINK IM BIASED ON THIS JUST BECAUSE JASON IS MY FAVORITE OK. I CAN ACKNOWLEDGE WHEN A FAVE OF MINE LOSES. but jason is a literal zombie, he can be hit over and over again and maybe he can be incapacitated for awhile but this dude literally cannot fucking die. meanwhile freddy is over here looking like a fucked up block of swiss cheese mf with knives on only ONE HAND. AT LEAST COMMIT AND DO BOTH HANDS.

ok lets get into these fucking logistics and by that i mean the hits. jason first okay?? so...jason takes a lot. hes a big boy, big strong boy, he takes so many fucking hits in this movie......... this man is set on fire, he is obliterated by dozens of iron poles through his body, is beat up by a massive swinging..... contraption... has his ONE GOOD EYE STABBED OUT. AND HE JUST KEEPS FUCKING GOING. HES SO STRONG. anyone who says that jason isnt the strongest slasher can fight me this dude is fucking insane and i love him. they literally had to try and make jason WEAKER by saying that hes afraid of water even tho jason is a beast of a swimmer as we can see in Multiple previous movies, especially jason takes manhattan. the only thing that giving him this fear of water does is make me SAD! WHY DID WE HAVE TO WATCH HIM GET BULLIED HE DESERVES THE WORLD YOU BASTARDS

okay now freddy takes WAYYYY less hits than jason does but thats a given considering jason is a tank and freddy is... freddy. hes there. but its especially during the end that he gets his shit absolutely atomized. he gets some good hits on jason but at the end of the day, this man has his arm CUT OFF. then hes STABBED WITH HIS OWN ARM!!!!!! AND THEN HES DECAPITATED. HOLYY FUCK MAN. and yes i know he lives at the end blah blah blah but hes literally being dragged out of the lake as just a head by jason who looks like this is an average tuesday for him. freddy lost this shit 100%

also side note, the fucking fire stunt that jason did???? holy shit. the stunt actor that did this literally walked i think its like 70 feet, just. on fire. completely on fire for this scene. oh my god. so fucking cool, so absolutely amazingly cool. AND the electricity kill WAS SO FUCKING GOOD!!! JASON IS SMART AND NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE THIS GUY IS SO SLICK WITH HIS KILLS AND THE ELECTRICITY KILL IS SO FUN AND THIS MOVIE IS UNDERRATED. IDC IF THE CHARACTERS SUCKED. JASON COOL. Do newer mcr fans know about the puppets for puppetry event? Bc I feel like it’s one of those things that kinda got forgotten over time.

But basically in 2016 Gerard and Ray played a labyrinth medley and pretty much only 3 photos and one video of the event was saved. There used to be a full video of the performance but the Jim Henson company copyright striked it. (Which is annoying bc it was literally their event)

Anyways I still think about it and if someone saved the full performance pls send it to me I would love it dearly <3
