It's been three years since I released my first song! I never imagined I'd make it this far, so here's a celebratory picture of me, Saki/Renri/Haiyi, and some of my vocal-synth ocs!

So I’ve seen some stuff on Bluesky about some of the Medium5 girls, and I’m just gonna fill in tumblr about it cause I haven’t seen it anywhere else on here.

- HaiYi AI announcement. I have seen this tbh, just wanted to say I’m super excited and that she has really cute fangs. I love it when character designs have jagged teeth or fangs

- ChiYu AI postponed. Apparent her voice provider didn’t feel comfortable with how she sounded and they delayed her to fix it. Honestly I’m happy with this decision, good on both the dev team for delaying it and the voice provider for saying something

- Xingchen redesign. She’s gonna look a lot more like her vocaloid and I’m very happy about that, it’ll be nice to see her in something other than a glorified swimming costume, plus it looks cute so far.

- Lastly, Yongye isn’t Minus. For the unaware, Medium2050 is a game first and Minus is the main antagonist and seems to be a mirror of Xingchen (hence Stardust Infinity and Stardust Minus). However, Yongye, from the best of my understanding, is a separate concept from Minus, they look similar and sound similar and have similar names but aren’t the same. Yongye isn’t even a part of 2050. However, the purposes of SynthV, Yongye the AI bank is the same as Minus the standard bank. For the purposes of Medium2050, Yongye is non-canon and it’s just Minus.

My favourite character design for Stardust is specifically from the MV for "群星与夜之公主 / The Stars and the Princess of the Night". Her new SV redesign actually gets really close to it, but still has a few minor differences. Second place takes her V4 Design, classic and so gorgeous, definitely one of the best character designs ever made (Figure collectors will agree judging how much her Myethos Figure is worth). Third favourite gets a bit harder but I would say it's the Outfit from the Album "星语Star Whisper ", which is a Hanfu-like Version of her classic design.

My overall favourite Quadimension Vocal is...yet again my answer is Stardust.

I got Haiyi AI a few weeks ago (shoutout to ppl on the synthv discord for helping me out with that lmao. commercial proxy sites have so many fees it almost doubles the cost of a voicebank) and fell in love with her voice. This song had been in limbo for weeks because I couldn’t find someone who was a) suitably versatile with a high AND low enough range to hit these notes and b) actually fit the vibe of the song. Then I tested Haiyi and she sounded PERFECT.

Medium5 2025 Work Release Plan Announcement

Hello everyone, this is Zero01. First of all, on behalf of all the Medium5, I would like to extend our sincerest New Year wishes to you! Since we announced our restart on December 8, 2024, we have successfully launched the Haiyi AI voicebank, kicked off the second Medium5 Creation Contest, and reestablished our official fan group. During this time, we’ve received tremendous support from fans and deeply felt your passion. For this, we sincerely thank you for your encouragement and companionship. It is your support that keeps us moving forward.

Now, I’d like to introduce the upcoming official album and related activities:

🎵 Medium5 Official Album: 《RE:BIRTH》

• A brand-new creative album featuring 9 tracks showcasing the unique musical charm of Medium5.

• Pre-orders are expected to start in April 2025. Stay tuned!
