Cannot describe how happy I am because this design really hits a lot of aesthetics for me. Blue white and gold is my favourite aesthetic aside from pure pastel blue and white so she's an immediate favourite for me, really.

Hey all! Due to a bit of a kerfuffle this week money is tight, so I've drastically lowered the prices on all of my remaining Helluva Boss and Steven Universe Adoptables on my Ko-Fi shop.

If there was one massive peeve for me after watching Episode 7, it would be the continuity error of Carmilla’s hair dropping.

Except there is no continuity error, she just lets it down in 5 frames of animation in a fight where your attention isn’t on such a small detail. (Like, literally less than a second of action to be seen.)

Also gotta love that to flex on Vaggie’s “I’m not used to fighting with long hair.” Her immediate move is to let her own down and continue beating her ass.

Vaggie unknowingly taking her 7,777th life with her spear, from a mix of demon and angel victims, and suddenly the spear she was holding is gone and there's an infant CHILD in her hands-

tiny gray demon tail wrapping around her wrist, little steel grey horns poking out of white hair, soft fluffy grey wings fluttering on it's back

Vaggie, holding the child at arm's length: "Uh. Charlie...?"

Charlie: "Busy fighting, be right there!"

Vaggie: "Charlie. Baby."

Charlie: "Yeah??"

Charlie: "No. Not 'Charlie babe'- Charlie. BABY."

Charlie: "I mean I kinda like 'babe' better, not gonna lie, but-"

Charlie: "...."

Charlie: "Vaggie. Baby."

Vaggie: "Baby."

Charlie: "Where-"

Vaggie: "Spear."

Odette, whispering into her phone: Uh, hi- we locked our baby sister in the car and people are judging us.

Clara, now running around looking for a rock: I SWEAR TO GOD I'M GONNA BREAK IT!

Odette, whirling around: DO NOT BREAK THE WINDOW, YOU'LL GET GLASS ON HER!

Odette: But if you keep making up words, no one will understand you.

Young Vaggie: Clara will. Watch. *tugs on Clara's arm*

Clara: Yeah, squirt?

Vaggie: *complete gibberish*

Clara, immediately playing along: Whoa, are you serious?

Vaggie: *more gibberish*

Clara: I'd never considered that before!

Vaggie: *very serious gibberish*

Clara, patting her head: This changes everything.

Odette, facepalming: You're both crazy.

*Odette, spotting Vaggie trying to sneak out of her bedroom: Oh, not again. Come on, go back to bed before Mamá sees you.

Vaggie: But I don't want to go to bed!

Odette: Too bad, manita.

Vaggie, pouting: Why do I have to go to sleep? Why can't I just stay awake all night?

Odette, sighing and getting up to walk her back bed: Because that's the way the world is.

Vaggie: Well I'm going to make it so that's not how the world is!

Odette, tucking her in: That sounds like a big job. You're gonna need a full night's sleep for that.

Vaggie: Yeah, I will! *triumphantly snuggles in*

Vaggie, ten minutes later: Hey, wait a second-

Vaggie, curled up in front of the fridge: :(

Clara, spotting her: You alright, hermana?

Vaggie, sadly: I just miss Odette**.

Clara, sitting down next to her: Aw, I know.

Vaggie: And the fridge doesn't like me :(

Clara: I...know?

*Odette: Bed. Sleep. Now.

Vaggie, trying to hide behind Clara: But I'm not tired!

Carmilla: Right. And what do they always tell you?

Clara, who'd walked into the room to check on her little sister: Uh...I'll maybe come back later?

Teenage Vaggie, who'd just gotten into her first fight: Just the ambulance ride to the hospital, I think.

Odette: That wasn't an ambulance ride, I drove you.

Vaggie: But I heard sirens?

Clara: That was your girlfriend.

Charlie, clutching the largest teddy bear the hospital sold***: I got nervous!

Charlie, fresh into their relationship: If something happened to Vaggie, I...I couldn't live with myself.

Odette, completely straight faced: You wouldn't have to. Clara and I would kill you.

Vaggie, trying to sneak off with Charlie at a party: Guys, I need your help.

Clara: Oooh, ok. I have an idea.

Odette: Is it a bad idea?

Clara: *darts off in Velvette's direction*

Odette, jumping up to chase after her: CLARA, IS IT A BAD IDEA-****

Vaggie, walking by with a teapot:

Clara: Whatcha doing?

Vaggie: It's for Zestial. I'm planning on making some bad choices tonight and I want him on my side when Mom finds out.

Clara: Oooh, smart. I'll have to remember that.

Odette, not looking up from her laptop: I never realized the forethought that went into raising our mother's blood pressure.

Adopting the Devil AU 🍎 🐍

This has been living in my head rent-free & I had to write it down somewhere!

Alastor the up-and-coming radiohost stumbles across Charlie's animal rehab/therapy petshop while hunting for effective pest control bc his stupid landlord Vox won't handle the rat problem. Distracted by an out-of-control animal, Charlie allows Alastor to adopt a sleepy albino snake dressed in a tiny crown and bowtie. He quickly realizes this isn't an ordinary snake-- it's a menace from Hell.

Charlie & Lucifer are still demon royalty; Charlie is attempting a preventative approach by rescuing and training therapy animals to improve mental health/reduce crime on Earth. Lucifer came down to help her but spends most of his time lounging around in snake form

Refusing to name his snake, Alastor sarcastically calls Lucifer "your majesty" because he acts so spoiled (refuses to hunt the mice, only lounges around in sunny areas, clingy, etc)

Meanwhile, Lucifer can't escape Alastor's apartment because his powers are significantly weakened in the mortal realm & he's constantly freezing (poor Luci is cold blooded & Alastor can't afford heating)

I can't decide if I want to draw a comic with them or write a fic so I might do a combo. Either way all posts I make for this AU will be under #adopting the devil au 🐍

Koalas don't tend to leave their home trees. The same can be said for you and Alastor.

You died, a ripe age of 16. Suicide was what it was ruled as, but it wasn't exactly believed by all. Not like the living could ask if you running your car off the highway was on purpose or not.

But the past is the past, torture and turmoil of it all left behind with the life you scorned.

And so you looked forward.

And despite the elusive nature one might assume of hell, you found your people, and like koalas, your home tree.

You found Alastor.

At first, you both hated each other. But, in neigh time you and him became peas in a pod. Mentor y mentè.

He gave you things you've never had, nor experienced. He supported your.. somewhat unorthodox ideas (but who is he to judge) and he took you under his wing in the most trying of times. He cared for you like his own, took you to work, and showed you the ropes hell.

He cared for you, and most of all, he gave you your home. He was your tree (sometimes literally)

It was an early morning when rapping at your door awoke you, accompanied by a small static sound you've come to associate with the person closest to your family.

Your door creaks open, and a chipper voice rings out;

"Good morning my dear! Why, it's much to late to still be in bed, up! Come now, we've plenty to do.-"

You groan and roll over, trying to cover your face from the light invading your senses as he opened your curtains.

"Now now, you know we've got ourself a meeting with a few other big shots, and it's best we get going now so we can still get to Rosie's to stop by that bakery she's insisting the cats pajamas-"

You groan again, and roll over and uncover your face.

"Man, no cappa, you sound old as balls. Who says cats pajamas?"

"And who says 'cappa' what in the lords name is a cappa"

You roll your eyes, and stand up, cracking your back. As you do so, alastor hands yoi clothes he's picked out for you to wear. He has a overlord meeting, and you guess by Extension it's now "bring your semi-adopted kid work day".

You go get changed in your bathroom, as well as brush your teeth and hair, and other hygienic processes, before stepping out.

"Ah, looking swell as always my dear! Are you ready?"

You nod, rubbing your eyes sleepily, and link your arm with the one he offered you as you drew closer.

Yeah, you've dealt with shit. But, sometimes, it's all worth it when you finally find your family, or in some cases, your tree. (of a semi adopted father)
