The Samsung Galaxy A41 unveiled in March is now up for pre-orders in the Netherlands. It's priced at €299 and you can pre-book one from Samsung's official Dutch site. It has three color options - Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush White, and Prism Crush Blue. The Galaxy A41 is powered by the Helio P65 SoC and boots Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage on board, and it also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion by up to 512GB. The Galaxy A41 boasts a 6.1" Super AMOLED Infinity-U display of FullHD+ resolution that has a fingerprint reader underneath for biometric authentication. For photography, the smartphone comes with a total of four cameras - a 25MP selfie shooter on the front, and a triple camera setup on the back comprising a 48MP main, 8MP ultrawide and 5MP depth sensor units. MediaTek announces its 12nm Helio P65 octa-core chipset

MediaTek also manufactures its own chipsets same as Qualcomm. However, we know that there is a general perception that MediaTek processors are slower than Qualcomm chips. While this may or may not be true in real life usage is up for debates. However, most OEMs tend to prefer the Qualcomm Snapdragon chips for their flagship smartphones. We often see that the flagship MediaTek processors are being used in mid-range smartphones. However, the company has announced its latest processor which will be the MediaTek Helio P65 processor. Talking about the MediaTek Helio P65 processor, it will be based on a 12nm process and is claimed to be 25 per cent faster than the competition in performance. It is also powered by 2 ARM Cortex-A75 CPUs operating up to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 processors all packed in a single cluster of eight cores. Also, there is a pairing of Mali-G52 2EEMC2 for GPU processing.

MediaTek Helio P65 MediaTek also claims that it has improved the performance of Helio P65 by 2x then its predecessors. Also, MediaTek P65 is claimed to be 30% faster in AI-camera tasks such as object recognition with Google Lens, Smart Photo Album, Scene detection as well as background removal techniques. Coming to the support for Helio P65 chips, it supports a dual camera setup of 16MP+16MP whereas it can handle a 48MP camera along with multiple cameras of different sensor size. It also supports 2K video capture at just 30 frames per second. This obviously shows that the MediaTek P65 processors are much less powerful than the upper mid-range and flagship chipsets from Qualcomm. Samsung revealed the Galaxy A41 on the website of its Japanese division last month, but the price wasn’t known until now. The phone finally appeared at Samsung Germany, where the price of the compact midranger was revealed - it will cost €299 in Germany and £269 in the UK. The Galaxy A41 is a logical improvement over the last year’s Galaxy A40. It has a bigger 6.1” Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and taller ratio. The Mediatek Helio P65 chipset is coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 gigs of storage. There are now three cameras on the back, while the fingerprint scanner made its way on the front, underneath the display. While the 64 gigs of storage might sound less than impressive, Samsung actually provided a micro SD slot for up to 512 GB right next to the Dual SIM tray. There is also a 3,500 mAh battery with fast-charging and Android 10-based One UI 2.0 out of the box. The phone comes in three colors - Black, Blue, and White, with some neat pattern on the back, called Prism Crush. Availability will begin in May 2020 at Samsung’s online store in Germany, while UK division simply said “in the upcoming months”.
