Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pile 1 :
Hii loves how are you doing?
For you I get that you know exactly how to make a person wait for something be it , your attention, your favours or your time , I get the word void for you , staying with you puts people in a state or rest or in a new world it's like you surround them with maya , it's so beautiful, be it is case of friendships or relationships you show people how worthy you are , ik nowadays how people admire nonchalance but most have got it all wrong , your way is beautiful you know how to read the room and gives them the exact amount of attention .
The way you brush your hairs in the middle of the conversation from your face is very attractive , people see your hair for hair inspo btw it's very voluminous and shiny , you remind me of the old celtic women with wavy hair, such beauty .
Moreover people really like when you wear clothes showing your waist and the way you move is very attractive it's hypnotic even , I won't be shocked if you said you learn dance because girl you're attracting the attention damn .
You're one of those people who attract attention without saying much and that is so so rare and you embody rare how stunning are youuu!!!!!!
Tumblr media
Pile 2 :
Heyyy ,how's everything going ?
Your eyes damn those eyes , you know that they kill and you use them well angel . Your hands are very observed by other people the movement of your hands , your nails , I will not be shocked if you said you learnt mudras or reiki . I think you can easily read people's energy just by touching them. Wanna know something honey you need to be really careful about the things you say because you easily manifest . I wish all the good comes to you.
Your diction and hold on various languages and accent is very admired , the way you pronounce and the certain raspy tone to your voice is very sensual to most people it's like you're luring them in . Your anger Is so admired by many people because there's a way you fight for the causes the passion is seen in your actions and that is so attractive .

Jude’s No Games AU: Touch Therapist!Gihun x Cop!Inho
I’m not one who usually writes AU’s, but this idea has rooted itself in my head and is refusing to leave. So picture this: no games, no Frontman, no blood-soaked island. Just Inho, a veteran cop with a body that’s falling apart and a heart that’s been quietly shattering for years. Decades of duty have left him knotted with pain—both physical and otherwise. He sleeps in a chair more often than in bed. His joints ache like betrayal. His wife’s gone, and he still hasn’t figured out how to grieve out loud.
Enter Junho. The younger brother who still looks at Inho like he’s worth saving, even when Inho’s forgotten how to feel anything but duty and exhaustion. Junho’s the one who finds the flyer for a small clinic on the corner of a quiet street: Healing Touch with Seong Gihun – Soul-Centered Massage Therapy. Inho almost tears the flyer in half from secondhand embarrassment.
He only agrees to go to shut Junho up. He’s expecting overpriced oils, new-age music, and some guy named Sky offering Reiki and fake smiles. What he gets is Seong Gihun. Too handsome. Too gentle. Too genuine. A quiet warmth in his voice that throws Inho off more than it should.
Inho tries to stay closed off during the session—tense muscles, sharp answers, zero vulnerability. He’s just here for a massage. His body is a fortress—walled off, weather-worn, and locked down tight. Every muscle holds decades of service, of grief, of unspoken things. His shoulders live perpetually tensed. His jaw is a clenched fist. Even lying on the massage table, he stays braced, like kindness might be another form of attack.
Yet Gihun doesn’t rush. He doesn’t fill the silence with small talk or try to pry anything loose with words. He just starts at the top of Inho’s spine and works downwards, his hands firm but not forceful. The touch isn’t showy—it’s deliberate, attentive. Like he’s listening through his palms.
When Gihun reaches his lower back, Inho flinches without meaning to. The tension there is old, deep, almost personal. Gihun doesn’t react. He simply adjusts his pressure and stays with it, his presence steady, patient. It unnerves Inho how quickly his body starts to soften under the weight of it.
Then there’s the chest work; something Inho hadn’t even considered. Gihun places one hand over his sternum, the other cradling the base of his skull. There’s nothing harsh about it, nothing overt. Just warmth. Stillness. A kind of gentleness Inho forgot existed. He wants to scoff at the word “soul healing” but for some reason, his throat feels too tight to say anything at all.
Eventually, Gihun moves behind him and slowly brings him up into a seated position. Inho barely has time to process it before he feels Gihun’s chest at his back, arms wrapped around him in a way that isn’t restraining but supportive—like a shelter. He starts to rock them both, gently, rhythmically. Not a technique Inho’s ever experienced before. It’s disarming.
Soothing.
Safe.
That’s when it happens.
It’s not loud at first. Just a breath caught wrong, a sudden shiver through Inho’s ribs. Then the tears come—hot, quiet, and relentless. Not performative. Not cathartic. Just something ancient finally given permission to move. Gihun says nothing, doesn’t shush him, doesn’t try to fix it. He simply holds Inho as he rocks him, thumb stroking slow circles against his chest like a heartbeat he’s lending out.
Inho doesn’t remember the last time someone held him like this. Doesn’t remember the last time he let anyone see him like this. And somehow, Gihun doesn’t ask for anything in return. Not a confession. Not even eye contact. Just presence. Just care.
Afterward, Inho sits in his car for almost thirty minutes, staring at the steering wheel, trying to convince himself that it was just pressure points and mood lighting. That it didn’t mean anything.
But the next week, he makes another appointment. Doesn’t tell Junho. Doesn’t need to.

Choose a dino! Your life purpose.
Pile 1
You probably had some bad experiences but you are able to overcome it. And after that you will be even stronger, and smarter in a way too. It can be that you will help someone who will have the same struggles as you. Sometimes you can feel hopeless and like you don't know what to do. But you will be able to choose or make decisions more easily, and also you will learn how to stand up for yourself and have boundaries. One of your life lesson is to find balance and harmony within yourself. Be in peace with yourself and with the world. You are probably very creative and you should practice your creativity more, express yourself freely. If you want to have a family, it will definitely happen. I think children and animals are drown to you. If you don't want children, than you will have some significant pets in your life too. You will have a happy and abundant family life. Whatever you wish for, a partner, children, pets, a garden...
Pile 2
There will be some new beginnings in your life, and even if you wanted it, it still can be hard at first. But you have all the ability to succeed. You should have more faith in yourself. You are smart. You are good at manifestation, some of you can have some psychic abilities too. Maybe you are a wanderer, an explorer, but it's not a bad thing, one day you will see clearly what your real purpose is. You will probably move a few times, travel a lot. If you want to go to a foreign country, it will definitely happen. Some of you can have a long distance relationship too. You should embrace your romantic nature and focus more on your inner child too. Have fun, be free, the world needs sensitive, joyful people too! You can have some unique ideas, unique lifestyle, and it's beautiful. Some of you can be some kind of healers too, not neccesseraly doctors, maybe reiki or just you have a healing presence and it will help someone when they really need it.
Pile 3
There will be some hard time in your life, and at that time you won't see that in the end of the day, it's better that it happened that way. Even if it's a betrayal, lie, loss of someone, everything will teach you something. And nothing last forever, hard times come to an end too. There's always a new day, a new beginning. You should accept changes. You will take time for soul searching, seeking answers, and you will have some inner wisdom. You are probably an old soul. You can overcome anything eventually, just have self-control, focus on what you want. You need to be open, be positive, don't give up hope. There's some divine timing and fate working in your life, but looking back you will see that actually you were lucky. You have a soulmate in this life, and that meeting will be something unexpected probably. Be confident, you will be a succesful person.

⚡Origins of Reiki ⚡
The history of traditional Reiki begins in the XIX Century, the sistem already had a venerable antiquity before tho. Many people with the power of channeling claim that Reiki was introduced to the planet through ancient civilizations such as Antartica and Lemuria. Others say that our civilization could have been planted on Earth by ancient extraterrestrials from the Pleiades star group and the constellations of Sirius and Orion.
It is believed that Reiki was born in pre-patriarchal India and the Hindu divinity Shiva, who was originally feminine, was responsible for bringing us Reiki and wishes to be remembered for that gift. It is said that Reiki was incorporated into the genetic code and is therefore an innate right of all humans. Reiki then reached the continent of Mu, and when representatives of this root culture left their continent to populate what are now India and Tibet, they took Reiki with them, and thus survived the disappearance of Mu. The telluric changes that first destroyed Mu and then Atlantis produced a serious cultural disorganization, the healing system was saved because it was preserved by a select minority.

Mikao Usui
In the 19th century, a Japanese man, having set out to find out how Jesus and Buddha healed, rediscovered it in the ancestral fragments of the ancient Shivaite culture, in the esoteric teachings of India. Thus, the history of traditional Reiki begins in the mid-19th century with Mikao Usui, a dean of Doshisha University in Kyoto and a Christian priest. Usui undertook a ten-year investigation on his own, allowing him to rediscover and learn this technique.
Mikao Usui entered the Zen Buddhist monastery in Japan, where he had found the texts describing the therapeutic formula. To do so, he had to learn Sanskrit to reveal part of the technique. He understood that he had to undergo a test, which consisted of three weeks of meditation, fasting, and prayer on Mount Koriyama.
After choosing the place for meditation, he piled twenty-one pebbles in front of him, one for each day, which he threw away at the end of each day so as not to lose track of the time elapsed. At the end of his ordeal, in the darkest hour of dawn, Usui saw a kind of projectile heading towards him.
A Thunderbolt fell on him, striking his third eye. He lost consciousness for a few moments. Then, the Reiki symbols appeared before his eyes. As he visualized each symbol, he received information on how to use each to activate healing energy. Thus, the first Reiki attunement was produced through the psychic rediscovery of the ancient method. Mikao Usui descended Mount Koriyama, knowing how Buddha and Jesus healed.

What is Reiki?
The act of laying hands on a human or animal body to comfort or relieve pain is as old as instinct. When faced with a painful sensation, the first thing we do is bring our hands to the painful area. Living bodies, human or animal, radiate heat and energy; this energy is the life force itself.
The Polynesians Huna called this healing force Mana, and the Iroquois Indians of North America knew it as Orenda. It was also known as Prana among the Hindus, Ruach among the Hebrews, Baraka in Islamic countries, and Ch'i among the Chinese. Some individual healers believed they had discovered an orgone energy (Wilhelm Reich), animal magnetism (Mesmer), or an archaeus (Paracelsus). The Japanese called it Ki, and it is the root that appears in the word Reiki.
Mantack Chia, a Ch'i Kung instructor, defines ch'i (equivalent to ki in Chinese) as energy, air, breath, wind, vital breath, the essential vital essence of the earth, the planets, the stars, and the heavens; all of these sources of energy influence the ki of the living body. Everything that lives contains ki and radiates it; it is the biomagnetic energy of the aura.
Reiki is not a religion, nor does it obey the postulates of any religion. This vital force or energy is the source of life itself and predates, as a reality and as a concept, any religious or philosophical system. With Reiki attunements, which lead to becoming a master of this technique, the recipient becomes a channel for this universal healing energy. By placing the person in direct contact with the source of ki, the attunement increases the person's vital energy, provides healing, and grants the person the power to heal others without depleting their own reserves. In fact, with each Reiki attunement, the positive power of their ability to channel Reiki is accentuated.

How Reiki works
Reiki is a non invasive technique to promote healing by releasing blockages from the energy centers to enable a good flow of energy in the body. It is administrated by "laying on hands" on major energy centers (chakras) of the body and is based on the idea of channeling universal energy and light through a practitioner to a patient. It also can be administrated through distance with the aid of the Reiki symbols.

Reiki benefits
A Reiki session can be programed for infinite purposes, you can set an intention and Reiki goes directly to that point, it can be used to manifest desired realities, awaken psychic habilities or heal an expecific area of the human body. Reiki it's also compatible for pets, animals in general and nature.

Shit I care about RIGHT NOW:
Inner Self
0uter self
Enjoying life

Reading/Books
Writing and WRITing & WRITING

My cats
My physical and mental health
This month has revealed a lot but more so in how I should intentionally move in situations or handle them in the best ways possible. But that’s the point of growth. Sometimes you’re meant to learn a lesson after your experience so you can have a clearer reality in the purpose of certain stepping stones as we expand in this life. If you want more, MORE is coming. In whatever manner to act as a challenge or breakthrough to your next reality. Simply put, ITS LIFE and we have to deal it in the best ways to benefit us. So I ask myself, how do I continue to do that but in a way where mentally I haven’t fully absorbed the reality of what next but really to step into it????? THE SIMPLE answer I Received from my guides, that created the most impact? Just GO FOR IT!
I hand it to my optimism to say where here to figure life out if we listen to our souls calling….and/or, resurrection . The purpose is experience. How simple could that be……. Right?! wel’ll explore that next post
Recently, I feel I’ve been clearing up patterns and old energies that resides within me and around me. Not just coming from me, but from certain energies I’ve invited in my space. Just very heavy on self evaluation now but also enjoying and experiencing life as I planned this year. It’s a good moment of reflection though because I believe these moments are initiations to my next life . I also believe certain people are catalysts for you. I always know why someone’s in my life and how long it’ll last when it’s time. But even within these recent revelations, I use my new tools to address these situations. Graduated many levels and life and I’m ready for the next because I knew it’s nothing but ABUNDANCE & SWEETNESS. I will receive all my heart desires because I claim it .

Would you say your spiritual beliefs have changed significantly since you first began exploring spirituality? Do you feel your core beliefs have changed or remain the same?
ooooooh hell yea! how horrified my 14yr old self would be at the shit I get up to now xD
I started out as a neo wiccan, super-duper new age. I'm talkin crystals, reiki, "smudging", rede thumping, love and light and pixie farts. There was some animism, I think I've always been one to an extent. I have very distinct memories of being angry at kids for "hurting" the plants outside the church at school and being absolutely horrified to hear that only humans had an immortal soul. Firmly rebuked that idea in my lil ginger gremlin heart, much to the priest's annoyance. Once I found wicca it validated those feelings of mine and allowed me room to explore them, though not to the extent I later would. Given that I was very fluffy when I began, around 2014, I was very much into (for lack of a better word) toxic positivity and I struggled to accept/acknowledge the darker parts of myself, nature, magic, occult/pagan history and spirits. While there was some animism there it was lacking nuance. It made me uncomfortable to try and reconcile this nature-based religion with the violent colonialist history of the country. So I ignored it.
I found, or rather was led to, traditional witchcraft in late 2017. This led to me fully embracing animism as the focus of my craft/spirituality and accepting all those dark things I had shunned. I moved completely away from deity worship. Tho, tbh, I don't think I ever really did believe in The God/Goddess. (I was one of those all gods are The God/dess types) I think it was more that I liked the sound of it, and I agreed that the divine feminine was sorely underappreciated rather than having actual belief/devotion. I was able to reconnect with my Maliseet relatives which was so instrumental in my developing a more nuanced approach to and understanding of animism.
Rather than craft being a religion it was a spiritual practice. A way to connect with the spirits and make things happen. I yearned for power, for witchcraft. It was how I survived living with my father, how I survived my ex's abuse and how I escaped. I was spite, hate and venom. Cursing, binding, dominating, sweetening and twisting.
My local lore as well as the lore of my ancestors' cultures informed my craft. I balked at the idea of worship. A witch makes magic, we do not bow. Why rely on a god when ours is the weaving of fate? What God would want such a cruel and twisted witch anyways... We have our devil(s), land spirits, the dead... our "little gods". I Didn't need or want a Zeus. After all, there was none of that in the lore. Coming from a catholic background I saw people begging God to fix their problems. Issues which, for the most part, could probably be handled pretty easily. I learned to see seeking solace and strength in religion as a kind of weakness.
Once I was free a vacuum was created. I had my relationships with spirit but I felt rather aimless.. I have reverence for my witch father, after all, it was He who opened the door, yet I felt a certain emptiness. There was no need for all this malefica I had been used to.
Eventually She appeared to me; all those hidden parts of myself were brought to light. I felt like a granite pebble. Hard and unyielding, to be worn smooth ever so slowly by the ocean. Try as I may to remain jagged the waves will win; I will be softened/polished... She opened me to love, not philia but rather something rather like agape. If you'll forgive my catholic terminology haha. I still don't understand. As I'm writing this, I'm in disbelief that I actually said that... that I actually truly feel this way now... This is new and not at all where I thought I was headed. I'm embarrassed that I ignored her for SO long and all because I couldn't find mention of what I was seeing/experiencing in folklore. Yet she was there, from the start.
I'm not sure where this will lead nor how it'll shape my craft. I'm exploring (and adoring) gaulpol. I'll have to, like my animism, learn how to practice it in stolen land. I'm unsure of how syncretic my craft will remain, as a large portion of it was informed by new England lore. My ancestors faith has always played a large role in my veneration of them.. then again they sent me messages/omens when I asked for guidance in identifying Her.. so perhaps neither of them will mind haha.
My craft began very terrestrial, and it will continue to be so, but it has become much more focused on water and stars than I would've thought. I always thought of the heavens as more the purview of ceremonial magic. One thing that's stayed 100% consistent is the imposter syndrome and fears/feelings of inadequacy xD
Good lord I fuckin rambled huh? TLDR yea shits changed, always been a dirty soil lovin animist from the sticks. THank you for the ask bud! Sorry about the novel that shit is wicked long
(I hate that when I'm tired the fuckin Mainer comes out)

Interviewer: First, there’s something I want to ask Lime.
Lime: Oh, me?
Interviewer: Before the shoot, you were filming the members just chatting. What was that about?
Lime: I upload videos to our blog magazine, so I was filming for that. But I also save them to a hard drive as a record. I think it’ll be fun to look back on them in a few years.
Interviewer: So, it’s like making memories? (laughs)
Lime: Yeah, memory-making (laughs).
Reiki: He’s been filming us like this for about a year now.
Lime: Ever since I got this camera.
Yue: We each have our own blogs, so when we run out of things to post, we just upload videos. Fans definitely love it.
Interviewer: And you looked so happy filming them just messing around. It was like a dad recording his kids growing up (laughs).
Lime: Hahahahaha.
Kyonosuke: Yeah, that’s seriously what it’s like. (laughs)
Yue: I’ve been meaning to ask—Lime, you’re always filming, but you never really appear in the videos yourself. Is there a reason for that?
Lime: I guess I just want fans to see the world through my eyes. So, I don’t really feel the need to be in the shot myself.
Interviewer: That way of thinking is very dad-like too.
Lime: Hahahahahaha!
Interviewer: You’ll understand once you have kids, but you were filming the members with that kind of perspective.
Kyonosuke: He always looks so happy while filming. Even though he only posts on the blog two or three times a month, he records way more than that.
Lime: Most of it never even gets used.
Interviewer: So, the blog is just an excuse? (laughs)
Kyonosuke: It’s just a cover-up for his embarrassment (laughs).
Lime: Yeah… that might be true.
Interviewer: It looks like you’re really enjoying it.
Lime: It is fun. Sometimes, I even send old pictures to our group chat just to see how everyone reacts.
Kyonosuke: And we all just crack up laughing.
Lime: Like, ‘Damn, we were so young!’
Interviewer: Do you know any other bands like this?
Lime: Yeah, I mean, we’re aware that our backstage atmosphere is different from other bands.
Interviewer: And now, this band with such a unique bond is set to play at Budokan in the new year. Do you think this closeness is one of Kizu's strengths?
Lime: Yeah, I think so. We want to compete with other bands, so it’s better if we’re completely united. The enemies are outside, not in here. The people we know are our allies, but everyone we don’t know is the enemy. That’s how we’ve always seen it. But looking back, turns out we didn’t really have that many enemies after all.
Reiki: It’s actually been pretty peaceful.
Interviewer: Has this dynamic between you always been the same since Kizu started?
Lime: Yeah, it hasn’t really changed. The atmosphere is pretty much the same too. Of course, there were tough times when our skills hadn’t caught up yet.
Kyonosuke: That’s about me, isn’t it? For a while, I felt like I was always lagging behind everyone.
Interviewer: As a musician?
Kyonosuke: Yeah. The other three had band experience, but Kizu was my first band. There was no way I could match their level at first. I was just desperately trying to keep up… I don’t even remember the first five years. (laughs)
Interviewer: That must have been tough.
Kyonosuke: Now I feel like we’re on equal ground, so I can talk to them normally. But back then, I always had this sense of inferiority.
Interviewer: Lime, did you know that Kyonosuke was struggling with these feelings?
Lime: I actually didn’t realize it at the time. I had no idea he was struggling like that.
Kyonosuke: Yeah, I never talked about it back then.
Lime: We were all just messing around, having fun together, but actually…
Interviewer: I see. Is there anyone else who has a ‘Actually, back then…’ kind of story, like Kyonosuke? (laughs)
Lime: Stop! You’re going to make things worse for us! (laughs)
Yue: It’s turning into a tell-all session. (laughs)
Interviewer: In any relationship, things can start off great but get complicated over time. How is it for you guys?
Lime: Well, for us, it’s different because we each respect what the others bring to the live performances. No matter what happens, we can accept each other. With every show we play together, that mutual respect deepens.
Interviewer: The longer you spend together, doesn’t it get easier to notice each other’s flaws or start nitpicking?
Lime: Ah, I think that might’ve been the case in the past. Before COVID, there were times when I noticed little things that bothered me about the others. But now, there’s none of that at all.
Interviewer: What kind of things bothered you?
Lime: Mostly performance-related things. There were times when I would put the blame on others a little. I’d watch back the live footage and think, ‘Wouldn’t this part have been better if it was done differently?’ But now, overall, even if Reiki does something different from what I expected, I just think, ‘Well, that’s Reiki’s style.’ Overcoming COVID together made a huge difference.
Interviewer: So, with what you just said and Kyonosuke’s story earlier, even though you say your relationships haven’t changed, they actually have, just gradually over time, right?
Reiki: Yeah, I think we’ve changed. Over the years, I’ve grown to respect the members more and more. In the past, I felt more like I was carrying the band alone.
Interviewer: What do you mean by that?
Reiki: Back then, I saw the members as people I needed in order to express myself—as if they were there for me.
Interviewer: Like the world revolved around you?
Reiki: That's right. That’s how I used to think. But now, it’s different. I realized that my bandmates can do all the things I can’t, and once I understood that, my respect for them grew a lot.
Interviewer: Did realizing that change anything for you?
Reiki: We were always close, but now it feels like our bond has deepened. Like, even if I get annoyed, I make sure to choose my words carefully. I wasn't like that before.
Interviewer: What about you, Yue? Even though you say things haven’t changed, is there anything that has?
Yue: I think there have been a lot of small ups and downs, but over time, everything has sort of evened out. For example, in the past, there were moments where the drummer and vocalist would be talking about a new song while I was there, and I’d think, ‘Wait, no one told me about this?’ That made me wonder, ‘Why didn’t they tell me?’ But after spending so much time together, you start to understand how your bandmates think, what they like, and what they want to do. So now, even if I find out about something later, it doesn’t bother me. I can still interpret it and adapt accordingly.
Interviewer: Normally, little things like that add up over time and turn into resentment or nitpicking.
Yue: But because we respect each other, even those small annoyances just smooth out over time.
Interviewer: Or maybe it’s just that Yue has become more mature.
Yue: Saying ‘yes’ to that would be kind of embarrassing, so I won’t. (laughs)
Interviewer: Lime, what do you think after hearing that?
Lime: Honestly, that was kind of intentional on my part. When I’m writing songs, sometimes the whole vibe of a track completely changes—tempo, phrasing, everything. I don’t think it’s fair to drag the other members into that uncertainty. But even in that stage, the one person I do need to talk to is the drummer.
Interviewer: So that’s why it ends up being just the two of you discussing it.
Lime: Yeah. I don’t like letting the others hear a song until it’s completely finished. Otherwise, I’d be making them deal with constant changes.
Interviewer: That’s really thoughtful of you toward your bandmates.
Yue: Yeah, that makes sense (laughs).
Lime: (Chuckles)
Interviewer: What do you think is the reason you all respect and care about each other so much?
Reiki: For me, it’s the music. The songs are what I love the most. Out of all the visual kei bands out there, I like Lime’s songwriting the best. So even if there are things that annoy me sometimes, as long as the music is good, it doesn’t matter.
Interviewer: What about you two?
Kyonosuke: When the four of us decided to start this band, I think we were all seriously aiming for Tokyo Dome. And we’re still on that path. So respecting each other is just natural. More than anything, I made up my mind that I’m doing this band with these four people. And honestly, if you don’t have that mindset, can you even be in a band?
Lime: Says the person who has not been in any bands other than Kizu (laughs).
Kyonosuke: Oh yeah, true (laughs).
Yue: Like Reiki said earlier, there are things in this band that only I can do. The roles in a band are clearly defined from the start just by having different instruments, right? So for me, as the bassist, I always think, I’m going to be the best at this. I’ll play even the most difficult phrases flawlessly. I approach it with that mindset, and since I can feel that same dedication from everyone else, I think that’s why we can respect each other.
Interviewer: What about you, Lime?
Lime: I sometimes have negative thoughts, like, ‘What if one of the members wants to quit?’ And when I think about whether there’s anyone else I’d want to be in this band with, the answer is no. That means if even one of us leaves, Kizu is over.
Interviewer: That's how it goes.
Lime: And to be honest, I don’t even like writing songs. Composing is the thing I struggle with the most. But I still do it because I don’t want to let the band down. If I write songs that truly reach them, they’ll respect me for it. And if a song resonates with them, it’ll reach the fans too. That’s why I think the members are actually Kizu’s biggest fans. I want to keep growing so I can write songs that they love.
Interviewer: That connects to what Reiki said earlier.
Lime: And no matter how difficult the phrases I come up with are, they just play them without complaint. So I have nothing but respect for them, it’s that dynamic that’s brought us all the way to Budokan.
Interviewer: What you’re saying sounds really cool, but when I see the four of you messing around together, it kind of feels like a school festival vibe. (laughs)
All: Ahahaha!
Lime: But honestly, it might not be that different. Back then, I was also trying to put on a good show, improve my skills… And simply have fun being together.
Interviewer: If you had to describe that fun in another word, what would it be?
Lime: What would it be…?
Interviewer: Maybe ‘youth.’
Lime: Ah, youth. Yeah, we’re definitely living it right now.
Yue: That’s a great word.
Interviewer: This is just my own interpretation, but I feel like the core of this band is that Lime can’t do anything on his own. I mean, outside of the band, he’s incredibly capable—he can handle anything by himself. But when it comes to music...
Lime: Yeah... that’s actually true...
Interviewer: You need other people. If you were completely self-sufficient in everything, I don’t think this kind of relationship would work.
Lime: That might be true. I mean, I can play all the instruments, but the members are better than me. And honestly, I probably wouldn’t even be able to play the stuff I write.
Interviewer: I’m sure that on your own, you wouldn’t have even been able to stand on stage. But the fact that a band led by someone like that is now about to perform at Budokan—it’s because of the four of you. That’s why I felt like this was the perfect time to talk with you.
Reiki: So that’s why you gathered us here.
Interviewer: Exactly. We’re about to wrap up the interview, but before we do, there’s one last thing I want to say.
Lime: What is it?
Interviewer: I want you to write a song that reflects this bond between you, a song that allows fans to feel like they’re part of it too.
Lime: A song, huh? (laughs)
Interviewer: I want to hear a song that makes people think, I want to be part of this circle too.
Lime: Ah… I feel like you just gave me a hint for a song. (laughs)
Reiki: Yeah, I like the phrase ‘I want to be part of the circle.’
Lime: But we’re not the kind of band that sings about wanting to belong...
Interviewer: But the fact that your band has grown this much proves that people do want to be part of it.
Lime: That’s true. People do want to be part of it.
Interviewer: So, not just for the four of you, but for everyone coming to Budokan, write a song that says, ‘You’re part of this too.’ (laughs)
Lime: That’s impossible! (laughs) But... the theme is good.
Interviewer: If you played a Kizu song for someone who knows nothing about the band, they’d never guess how close you guys actually are. So, make it happen.
Lime: I’ll do my best. This conversation just made me realize again how weird Kizu really is. I’ve been in a lot of bands, but I’ve never seen anything like this.
Reiki: This… was kind of an intense interview, huh?
Lime: Hahahaha! That really got to you, didn’t it?

I'm watching the Halo show.
And it doesn't feel like Halo a lot of the time, but if you excuse that, it isn't a terrible sci-fi show.
Reminds me of shows like Dark Matter and Killjoys that used to be on cable. Like, they scratched your science fiction itch, but you had to overlook a lot of stuff to get that sweet future dystopian escapism.
Halo has some cool characters (Kai is a giant woman and Steven Universe would totally be singing about her), fun action, decent effects (mostly), but they have issues with keeping the quality consistent. And they had to make sacrifices to scale due to budget constraints.
To make a Halo TV show without sacrifices, the budget would probably have to be Marvel sized. And if you factor that in to your judgement like with old "SyFy" shows... it's pretty okay.
A few ticks past mediocre.
They probably should have made a movie, but this is what we got.
HOWEVER...
There was just a scene where someone healed chronic pain from a grenade blast with fucking reiki.
Nope.
I can't overlook that.
I don't care if this show has implied magic and fantasy sci fi elements.
Reiki makes no sense in the Halo universe.
Not to mention promoting it as a legit pain relief solution is problematic.
Also, and this isn't really a criticism as much as an observation, but Halo is partaking in a recent phenomenon I have been noticing.
In my head I call it "Space Grimes."
It's when they cast a petite 20-something woman with very weird and mysterious energy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maybe I need a better name for it.
But I really like Kai! And how she towers over everyone.

Well hello friends! Since it got second place in the #F#ck it Friday poll this last week, I thought I would share a snippet from Unchain My Heart.
@xanthippe-writes I think will be extra excited for this chapter.
The neighborhood was a lot nicer than she expected. “How does she afford this kinda place?” she grumbled, double checking the scribbled address on the scrap of paper from her pocket. Sure enough, it matched. Tsubaki frowned. Some twenty-something single woman had managed to buy a house like this? Even she, an established business owner, could only afford the apartment above her store which felt like the size of a shoebox. Housing jealousy aside, Tsubaki studied the house from her spot across the street. From a distance, there was nothing particularly interesting about the building. It was more or less the same as the other houses on the street. Perhaps a little grander for the clearer view of the ocean because of its spot at the crest of the ridge on which the neighborhood sat, but otherwise unremarkable. Assuming you were looking with only your eyes. Tsubaki sucked in a pleased breath when she closed her eyes, seeing the area awash with energies both old and new. The old energies were strong but brittle now, seemingly waiting for the slightest touch to shatter the woven strings of reiki. Prodding the tapestry of centuries’ worth of reiki was frustratingly unproductive. Nothing Tsubaki did made much difference. A wobble here and there, but hardly enough to break the chains deftly interlinked. The upper layers were less finely crafted, but the base remained stronger, and that was the important piece. Jealousy of a different ilk rose in her. Tsubaki was no weakling. She had been blessed with very strong spiritual energy from a young age and had only honed it over time. Not that having strong reiki was particularly useful in this day and age. Even as a young woman, there had been little need for a miko of her capabilities. There just weren’t all that many youkai around and those that were typically knew better than to make trouble and get caught. For a long time, most of her work consisted of placebo spiritual cleansings and the occasional removal of a malevolent spirit. It had been ages since she was last called upon for an actual extermination or sealing of a youkai. “Why are you standing about?” a low voice growled in her ear. Or the internal equivalent. “Haven’t you ever heard of reconnaissance? If I charge up there, the little lady will be terrified of me and won’t trust me within an inch of her or her dog.” She smirked.

Happy WBW! Can you tell me a bit about a location? A building, a city, a forest, a country, an island, whatever you like :)
i am about to go wild. welcome to Esluxia 101, one of the main settings for Revolve. buckle up, i'm taking you for a ride
let's start with some summarized history for context:
on one of the continets we have Ademar, magically advanced civilization sort of like pre-dynastical Egypt/China
Ademar gets wiped out in the war of Arcana (rip) and the whole continent becomes wild lands
about 1k years later (we are ~5k years ago), people decide it's time to reconquer the continent through colonizing. one such colony is Saertia
Saertia becomes big and gains independence (from now on the continent is known as Isertia)
Saertia becomes too big and splits in two: Reiki and Zere. they are enemies
Reiki and Zere do war about their disagreements
Zere tries the feudal approach to staying whole. the feuds on the border with Reiki are very stressed about this
Zere falls apart
some of the feuds band together, some don't, some do war and conquer their neighbours
flash forward to ~1k years ago, you get about 5-6 "kingdoms" and a bunch of tribal/nomadic cultures that are developing independently
Zere is still trying to pretend it's whole by calling these factions "kireis" and being a bully about being "the most important kirei"
~200 years ago, another empire fucks up big time, loses against all its colonies, goes "hey why don't we all be friends and not attack each other?" and proposes a treaty
Zere, pretending to be nice, asks the other kireis if they want in. most say yes. Zere says no. Zere decides to be a bully
someone in Zere that wants the treaties exposes Zere for war crimes then makes a run for it into a different kirei. Zere decides to do war (and war crimes) about it
*insert Europe in 1914 with alliances snapping into civil war in 2 days*
this is how Esluxia happens. civil war turns into an all out 22 years-long revolution (Lifexi Revolution, my beloved. i know so much about it and it has the highest spinoff potential), Zere loses badly at the end, though not without inflicting large amounts of damage. so the figurehead of the revolution (Yilvar, my beloved ಥ.ಥ) does the smart thing and:
makes alliances with the most influential people on his side for every kireis before facing off agains the king of Zore
kills the king of Zere
takes the throne of Zere (quickly renamed Xor because otherwise yikes) by right of "i killed the old king, fuck off"
declares each of the nine kirei a completely independent nation free to govern themselves however they want
proposes an alliance among all of the new nations (still independent, but helping each other)
picks a part of Xor that's pretty centered and has been burned to the ground, declares it independent from Xor, names it Asglen and goes "this is an impartial place, no one has influence here, we lead the alliance from here"
signs the gods damned international treaty that started this whole bullshit revolution with the other leaders of the new nations
abdicates the throne of Xor
so that's an interesting weekend. and because the gods (me) hate him (i love him), he doesn't get rest; people ask the leaders of the nine nations who's gonna lead the alliance, and the leaders go "well, Yilvar led us and he has a light resonance, so clearly he's favored by the gods so he should do it". Yilvar, who just wanted to start a farm with his wife and raise the orphans of his dead friends, sighs woefully and gets crowned Xire
so, after this history lesson, what is Esluxia like now? well i am glad you asked
the nine nations are very different in geography, economy, politcal system, society and (most of all) vibes. i could go over them in this post, but for the sake of being somewhat brief i will not. i will however tell you that they are, from west to east & north to south: Yeis Bin Tiatt, Fyma, Laej, Uyla, Wra, Xor, Trezi, Djis Ima Teji and Ekre Kas'Ti. here's an operative map that i've been meaning to finish, but have alas not
Tumblr media
so, what is the mint-green speck between Xor, Fyma and Uyla? the answer is Asglen
Asglen is an indepenent city-state with very clear borders and a bunch of villages and hamlets in its territories, all of which abide to its laws. Asglen is the operative heart of Esluxia: the Xire lives here, it has a permanent council of governors from the nine nations (the Phoenix Council), it has a court of experts in political, financial, economic, military, medicinal and technological experts (Phoenix Court) and it holds the highest criminal and civil courts. small place with a pretty big reputation
the Xire themself has quite the bunch of duties. they:
mediate disputes between two or more Esluxian nations
preside the two annual High Councils in which all the leaders of the nine nations meet
preside all meetings of the various Esluxian Assemblies (financial, military, legislative
preside all meetings of the Phoenix Council
represent the Alliance on the international scene
be the Mayor of Asglen (with all the implied duties)
in addition, if the High Council declares martial law or the state of emergency, the Xire and the Phoenix Council take on full legislative power while the Phoenix Court takes on full executive power for the entirety of the Alliance. it is going to be a fun few years for Lukiat ^-^
so, if the Xire has all these duties, how are they chosen? out of sheer dumbassery, divine power. the Xire must be a person of at least 22 years of age whose elemental resonance is light. the reason given to the public is, in fact, that the gods favor them, the same way it had been for Yilvar
in truth (as it had been for Yilvar) there is an artifact that is kept in the Esluxian court that has been tied to the ley lines in Esluxia and can act as an amplifier along them, which makes it a really powerful defensive and offensive system. problem is, this artifact can only be awakened through light magic attunement, which is a dangerous process if you are too young. ergo, the requirements. also, ergo the actual reason the leaders in ye olde days appointed Yilvar. he was the one who found the artifact and proceeded to use it to put an end to the revolution
now, light is not a natural resonance in the slightest. no one is born with it, it's a resonance that people shift into. which means that so far, Esluxia has had a lot of luck with this process. and they've had luck mostly because the gods (still me) absolutely hate (adore) Yilvar. his light resonance has traveled down his descendants like a curse out of sheer fucking trauma. not one generation has gone without someone shifting into light, and adoptive children are not spared from this fate. i could list them, but i feel like this post is long enough as it is. thus, on this wonderful note, i depart

if you ever have the time, I’ve always personally felt that the “energy” fixation in witchcraft circles is very… new age? I mean, you never see medieval people going “let us use the energy of the moon”, essentially treating humans as conductors for this “energy”. Energy working too feels like rebranded reki, but feel free to let me know if I’m wrong. Thank you for everything you do!
People have believed that some kind of vital force or essence could be transferred from one body to another since forever. A very notable example of this belief is recorded in the Gospel of Luke, where a woman touches Jesus's garment and immediately receives healing for a chronic condition. Very notably it's not merely her faith that healed her, because in this narrative Jesus basically says that he felt power leave his body. In this story, Jesus sorta acts a battery of miraculous power. Also within Christianity, there's the whole idea of laying on hands to bestow the Holy Spirit or healing upon people.
We also see the concept of vital essence transfer in most vampire-type creatures in folklore. These beings feed on the vital essence or life force of the living, often killing them if this process isn't stopped.
(These aren't the only examples of vital essence transfer; they're just a couple that came to mind.)
In the modern era, scientific research into electricity had a huge impact on how people in general viewed magic and miracles, which led to the development of energy work as we know it today. While it's definitely a huge part of New Age belief and practice, it's not exclusively New Age. Also, reiki itself emerged during this time period; pretty much all of the reiki websites I can find say that its creator began practicing and teaching reiki in the 1920's.
So yeah, the energy paradigm as most of us know it is modern, but it also draws from extremely old ideas. People who claim that pre-modern magical practices are all about energy work are wrong, but at the same time energy work wouldn't have been an extraordinarily foreign idea to many pre-modern people.

Because I always love the humans from db going to dbz who have no insane powers & still willing to fight. So bringing back an old background for Laura in this verse; she's a martial artist from another rival school (crane and turtle, but her master is in his own rivalry with crane's master - who is just fixated on roshi, and looks at them as inferior). It's the rabbit school based on the Jade Rabbit/Moon Rabbit - it’s a rabbit that lives on the moon. It accompanies the moon goddess Chang’e and produces the elixir of life by pounding medicinal herbs.
This school specialises in endurance, using froms of "reiki" (it's gonna be explored differently for this) to heal themselves during combat, recover from fatigue quickly as well as draw out fights longer, waiting for their opponents to become tired before striking -- this also means they have to specialise in evation for this to work on strong opponents, as they are primarily weaker. Baguazhang is their primary form of martial arts. They use palms, legs and elbows for striking, infusing energy into each - also, fingers, when striking specific parts of the body to render them useless, and they study the human body intensely in order to strike accurately; they are not allowed to target organs or anywhere that might cause severe damage or death (Laura gets carried away if she gets enraged, which leads to her master scolding her heavily when he sees her attempt this). Mercenary Tao uses Pressure Point Attack and it's very similar to what they use, but I am taking it yoink.
Laura, in this verse, is from Germany, but moved in order to learn martial arts at a young age, and became the star pupil of the Rabbit House.
Dragon ball Z timeline -- is more background, but she is training to make these abilities more deadly for opponents they have to face. She knows how to fly like the rest, and has incooperate her skills into blast waves and defense (so, so similar to the hyuuga clan, who's fighting is based on forms of Baguazhang - and the eyes as well, Laura's turn a brighter white and she is able to examine someone's anatomy / can see through objects).
She is closer to the cast in dragon ball then the others in Z. Definitely still has a grudge against Tien because of their schools. Still pisses everyone off with her attitude.
