How does one “line” art

I have no clue. If you’re looking for advice on line-art, I’m sorry that I have none and wasted your time reading this. xD 

But, no, seriously, how does one make such fine strokes of line, whether it’s with ink or pencil? I praise those who can do it with paint. My art tends to be so sloppy and sketchy. I like sketchy art drawn by other artists, but when I see my own, I’m baffled, bamboozled,  a blimey blundering buffoon...  and slowly, surely, start to resent the very art I made with these hands.  Perhaps, with enough practice, my hands could become steady enough to create an even stroke of lines with consistent variation, as to make the line-art pleasing. I have done so before with one of my previous inktober drawing using technical pens; however, I somehow, correlate the result with pure luck. Haha. Now, if only I had enough motivation to pursue perfection, as with watercolors, but that’s another venting to tell.
