God, it really is so canon though. And, for me, it's just that extra cherry on top if I can find a way to work the relationship into canon. When you get those two blending together, it's like, total writing boner. And just general boner, because unf. 

But seriously, picture canonically accurate Stilincest. Where Sheriff and Stiles still maintain their relationship but there's also kissing and other stuff (wink wink) and it's just...it's the greatest.
