So thankful for a wonderful sister trip! While this isn't a full sister trip due to Tessa and Madison being unable to come as they're both still postpartum with twins, we loved getting some quality time. The whole family will be coming to the family vacation, so we'll be seeing them soon. We did a trip to San Sequioa as it was the best for our budget and the time of year, we were discussing potentially doing an international sister trip one day, but for now our domestic options are great. Sabrina, Celeste, and I were able to travel together since we live close-ish to one another, whilst Madelynn and Kristyn flew in separately and carpooled to our Sim'bnb.

We had a pool at our villa so we got to pack our swim stuff and enjoy having a private pool. It's always nice having a pool to ourselves so we're not concerned with who else might be there, as well as it being more comfortable for those who are more conservative in how they dress. As we've all gotten married and moved out of our parents houses, we discuss our personal convictions with our husbands and how we'd like them to shape the families that we'd be building. Like as an example, Kristyn has chosen to start to wear pants and shorter skirts/shorts as part of her wardrobe whereas Celeste and Sabrina are sticking to the style of dress that we were raised with. Personally, Eric and I are still in the season where we'd prefer Aria and the girls to wear skirts, but only where appropriate. Swimming and other activities call for long shorts. We're aware that we might change our minds as the kids continue to grow, so it's just constant prayer that will guide us.

On our last day there Celeste surprised us with news that she's pregnant with twins! We can't wait for another set of twins to join the family! She's waiting until the family vacation to tell our parents in person, so we get to keep the secret to ourselves for just a little bit longer. It's so great that we were able to get together before we have the big family vacation with all the kids there.

I’m not the type to be like ‘clearly The Studio does not understand the character as good as Me’ because there’s a lot at play between the two movies. There are differences because of studios, writers, directors, audience expectations (especially for superhero movies), etc etc etc. But I do find it funny that jumping ahead 20 years they want me to pity the big corporate weapons guy and root for him to get a second chance (arguably his third) because suddenly it’s not his choice and thus not his fault (?) anymore. I love him sooooooo so much but I would prefer he be killed again actually 💚

Why is it that I can literally see my damn argument in my head but I can’t translate it into words to write my damn paper

I’m going to ramble below and try to make it make sense to myself:

​Like picture this: if we think of time as a river; it flows from Point A to Point B. But what happens if humans create way too many levees to try and prevent a flood, but then the water rises and breaks over the levees anyway? And now you have time flooding all over the dang place, but after a while the flood water becomes stagnant. How does that relate to time? And what if we’re looking backwards the entire way? Does the stagnancy of the water mean that there’s no future? Is there still time without the prospect of a “yet-to-come?”

Worse yet, what happens if the flooding is REALLY bad and your tributaries start to run backwards??? What the hell does that mean???????? (Time travel 😎) Regression to a previous state of being? How does that change based on if you’re looking at the reversal from a personal, societal, or environmental perspective?
