i am constantly surprised to find how much people dislike young royals s2 because i personally thought it was even better than s1. because narratively, writing a middle that is a standalone while also setting up for a finale is super tricky and yr s2 was stunning for that 🤔 also s1 felt a little more... juvenile? it's like s2 was people growing up a bit more and settling into their personal beliefs.
