since i’d fallen off reading comics that weren’t bl or korean shoujo lmao, i decided to try some shounen recs from the tl and bro tell me why my very first pick happens to have an mc whose last name is harai, has red hair, a fuckton of piercings and is absurdly powerful WHAT IS THIS 😭😭😭

#this is vee speaking #I WASNT EVEN LOOKING FOR A NEW PIECE OF MEDIA TO SHARE BRAINROT WITH BUT KUUKOU SAID I CAN NEVER ESCAPE HIM 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭#me: it’s been a minute since i read some shounen let’s check out some new gen stuff—#kuukou: have my cousin instead 😈#if i had to like say tho he’d be a decent love child between jyushi and kuukou actually lol #like he’s powerful but very cowardly and was saved by an older mentor figure whom he wants to repay #and utilises both sun and moon powers lol #it’s a chill read so far lol like you can tell whose works the mangaka was inspired by #and i love artists who so love their media they immortalise them in their own works lol #i definitely need to get back into the swing of things tho lol like yeah tastes change #and these korean stories have been BLOWING my mind lol so i think my standards are also shifting #but i’ve been seeing cope on the tl that this manga can be one of the new gen powerhouse series since we did end an era recently #and it’s not quite hitting yet 🤔 like it’s a lot of fun and kiyoshi and his crew are incredibly charming #but it hasn’t CLICKED like it has for other comics i read casually idk 🤔🤔🤔#i am still pretty invested tho it’s a very fun read so far lol
