friend and i had a craaaazy idea (that 100% is not what is happening but wow what if ok?)

basically buddie angst in 100th episode, they don’t really talk about it until the next episode aka titled ‘you don’t know me’ and somewhere in that time they end up spontaneously kissing

which they of course do not acknowledge / choose not to acknowledge until 706 where they are kinda like ok fuck it

but everytime they try to get away / escape for some time alone, or like try to make a move, some disaster happens and prevents them from actually Doing anything

and then maybe they have a talk like “i don’t know what this is man, but we shouldn’t do this” and basically using all the disasters as a reason that they should not be together / whatever the fuck they were trying to accomplish

and yknow theyre both respectfully sad about it, but also thinking ‘ok this is probably for the best, it’ll be fine he’s still my best friend��

and things are fine things are going as well as they can after kissing your best friend and then same time sort of getting rejected but alas!

until.

the finale / episode before the finale,

something happens and one or both of them almost die again (trapped dads theory my beloved) and eddie’s like ok fuck no not like this

so it ends with eddie showing up at bucks doorstep, and basically confessing his love for him. like “i do not want to spend another second of my life without you in it” “i love you, evan” something cheesy

and ofc buck accepts and is like oh thank fuck i am so in love with you i can barely breathe when you’re gone
