My tendency to haphazardly pick up bits and bobs of scripts and languages without ever attaining true fluency at least makes me an object of interest with my coworkers. They call me over whenever we have a Deaf student. My boss once asked me to translate a voicemail in Spanish on her phone. A colleague mentioned she carried around a paper in China saying she didn't eat meat and I went 'was it something like 我不喜欢吃肉?' to her bemusement. Pretty sure my most impressive moment this semester as far as they're concerned is when a student wrote Norse runes on the whiteboard and after a colleague said "I have no idea what that is" I translated them on my way to the breakroom without slowing down.

Malware is quite literally that: malware. A program designed specifically to destroy, but given enough intelligence to make his own decisions.

It tends to take on a mimicry of the appearance of whatever monster or human would best suit its purposes, so it does wind up using a Sans like appearance possibly more frequently than others. It is cruel, unemotional, and manipulative. The ultimate goal, of course, is to completely destroy the code of the entire multiverse.

Wizard, conversely, is a "fix-it" program, designed to make sure that doesn't happen. Its main motivating goal is to fix and maintain the code to the best of its abilities, and can also take on any vaguely similar forms it sees fit, however usually airs more toward a Gaster or Dreemurr type form, as its found they most often evoke a sense of safety and trust.

It's more expressive than Malware, and does try its best to show empathy, but it can't really feel emotions like that, so it does struggle with helping others emotionally, at times.

While they are of course natural opposites, Malware actually takes great joy in the opportunity to destroy Wizard, while Wizard doesn't seem to consider Malware any worse than any other threat to the code, even if it does get frustrated by Malware's persistence from time to time.

Sometimes when I share something I learned from like Wikipedia people are like "wow how do you know so much" and I find it a little concerning bc I know reading a wiki article does not make me well-informed but if other people are impressed by that they must be doing like no research at all

Adding that to the list! My only question is, should we have all 200+ episodes in the lineup? If not, how do we narrow down episodes? I'd like to use my best judgement, but I'm sure there are episodes I found not funny that others did, and vice-versa.

Guy With Autism sucks because autism is really hard to conceptualize as a single thing that makes you Like That and no one's major personality trait is Autistic. their major personality traits are things like 'Secretly a lizard man' or 'Extremely practical about dangerous things and indifferent to everything else' or 'God's crustiest chewtoy' or 'Incredibly good at useless things' or 'Tired alien stranded on earth can't believe he has to get a job' or 'Won't cooperate with stupid people because frankly why should she' or 'Better dead than wrong' or 'Grizzled professional at dying on this particular hill' or 'Annoying on purpose (professional driver, do not attempt at home)'

Autism isn't a character trait, it's something that causes character traits. You can't just read the DSM and run from there. You gotta know some weirdos.

i think it's funny that the best type of representation for autism is the type that is completely unintentional. feels more natural.
