Columbo and the Knight (1984)
put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.

It was also because there was so many other things going on in the background.#Great things that I was like “oh but that's got great comic potential - oh but *that* would be a fun thing to focus on - oh but THAT -”#And sometimes when I get overwhelmed I simply say No...No to drawing out 5 additional comics for the second siege.#I do still deeply adore the Jin Ling and Jiang Cheng moments. I loved all the juniors kicking ass in front of their mentors and parents!#It bears repeating that a core message in MDZS is about how the next generation has the capacity to grow past their predecessors.#That they are going to chose what to believe and will come to their own decisions. That they will be better for it.#And! That it is not just the new generation! Lan Qiren picks up his sword and fights as well!#This is a story about hope lying in the future if you choose to nurture it now. Not all seeds will grow but some *will*.#For now...we can just ask ourselves the question of what we want that future to be. And start somewhere.#Maybe it is learning how to draw comics. Maybe it is learning how to be kinder.#Maybe it's about getting good gains and never putting your shirt back on.
