You know a book is good when you need to annotate it. Those tabs aren't everything, I've got a note for almost every page.
This book ought to be cited as one of the most important texts on asexuality. I very much think that all asexual people ought to read it. It significantly reframed many, if not most, of my understandings of asexuality, changed my mind on others, and introduced concepts of which I was previously unaware. It also affirms asexuality masterfully.
Many concepts within it are also applicable to other aspec identities. Mostly aromanticism, but all of them at some point.

twiddling my thumbs, i realized in ways i rlly do prefer 2010 Nier over the remake. but ofc, i love them both very much. just … smth about the 2010’s. there’s so much charm. i also think nier (adult to be exact) and kainé just look quite nice, even if the faces are a little goofy. and the piss filter + maximum grittiness is peak.

It's been a long time since I've been emotionally drained by a book, but I just finished Sunrise on the Reaping and... damn. I know what Haymitch is like by The Hunger Games, but learning what hell he went through hurts. Got me messed me up (positive). Phenomenal book. Can't wait for the movie.

#WPVG#WPMC#Minecraft#Damned#No real closeups this time apart from above the Med Wing - thank you as always to Alana's preservation work <3#Although even with that rough map I'm considering moving some things around lol#There's an empty corner in the upper left of the Med Wing while the break room (if I had to guess) is crushed in by two rooms above it??#Seems silly to me But it does also feel very Damned to me haha the layouts don't always make perfect sense ♪#I'm just glad to have any semblance of what it looked like originally hhh ;; Wish I knew what all the rooms are in what order!#Well I still have the Med Wing threads to go through - see the progression of who goes where from which area lol#Problem being it's mostly singular rooms all off from very few hallways and some of the room names are similar#Like - is this the X-Ray Lab or the X-Ray Observation Room - that kind of thing lol#Still!! I do enjoy the puzzle-piece aspect and guesstimation work haha#Started to see the beginnings of undescribed rooms on this floor too - not a surprise since Most of the game was played on the first floor#Like the Special Counseling Final Preparation Rooms........ What are you#I have some ideas - in particular those single-block chambers are where the brainwashed patients are stored until they're all ready to send#Locked from the outside and then?? I haven't actually read anyone's account of their SC experience just after they've been placed haha#Oh and!! The Disciplinary Therapy section in the West Wing confused me terribly!!!#It took until I showed smol around and complained of the lack of Solitary Confinement - because it's not listed in the room descriptions!#And she was like ''What's that line of tiny rooms then'' and I was like :0 ''They were all described as S1 - S2 - S3.....''#Almost like they were Solitary Room 1.......2................3..................... Egg on my face lol she was gracious about it lol#It's the /Disciplinary Therapy/ section of the Institute like what else could they possibly be smh @ me lol#I'm very curious about the Experimental Treatments Laboratory too - right off from the morgue egh - I assume that's where monsters are made#Considering the animal test subjects kept there :( Leave them alone!#The second floor is scary! Though all the rooms directly above the Sun Room are Exceptionally normal lol#Love how the library is teal haha - and the staff lounge has as aggressively lime green carpet - I gave the Nurse lounge a yellow rug :)#Had another fun moment giving smol a tour - I used glazed terracotta in the staff kitchen - white/blue/yellow! The™ colour palette!#Only to realized I'd misplaced some of the tiles - I did the comedy Pause-And-Fix silently while she giggled and then got right back to it ♪#There's meant to be a security station at the end of the staff patio as well but there's no description of any of those! What are you???#I'll leave it off for now but I'm not opposed to adding one in... They are good and creepy in theory I just want to know more about them :0

my library's huge book sale begins on August 1st

#no I didn't plan this but it is exceedingly funny to me#my original goal was that if I succeeded in not buying books until August I would finally get a graphic novel series I've wanted for ages#(kind of expensive and has to be shipped from...idk somewhere overseas)#however between March and now I've developed other plans that cost money that I want more than those graphic novels so#(Hadestown and ren fest and house stuff mostly)#but I'm so proud of myself anyway because my favorite local used bookstore got most of the Discworld books in stock last month#and I didn't buy any of them#yes I cried#they were in like-new condition#and they were the editions I like#(the library sale isn't a huge threat to my wallet)#(last year I think I found four things and it was exhausting)#(maybe I'll drag my sister along for moral support)

#i got gifted like 2/3 of them pleek.. im not crazy#unrelated but im still SO mad ea moved from origin to the ea app#because the real ones remember the ORIGINAL ea app back in 2010#ea download manager. GOAT#anyway i had the ts3 teaser back then and later on i got sims 3 pets demo and they removed it from my library once origin came to be.#ts3 CAS too. i hate electronic arts#and like. is the ts3 teaser lost media nowadays? because i see NO ONE talking about it and i cant find any download link online. lol#they had some really cool features that only got implemented on later expansions. like robots (ambitions) and protests (university life!!!!#<- the third to last ts3 expansion!!)#i remember you could only play it for 60 minutes (?) but my computer took like. 20 minutes to load the game and it ran TERRIBLY#so id make lots of accounts so i could play it again and again

not to be excessively picky or anything, but the Protector of the Small book covers keep getting uglier with each new edition.
#my original paperbacks (already ugly as fuck) got read to absolute tatters by 2011 and i never bothered replacing them#but i reread the series from my library and i miss owning them so i went looking and oof. bad.#I've ordered the original hardcovers used instead of caving to shitty YA fantasy aesthetics.#¶

i have so many games that i'm only sporadically playing through. i just opened dragon age: origins and got panicked that my save files weren't there... only to realize that it's still on my old laptop that i haven't used in a year, lol.
