I had this AU archived off my accounts for a few years, but I'm thinking about it a lot more these days so I'm digging it up for sketches.

This is Kudari from Codebreaker, functionally the starting antagonist for the story when Emmet accidentally collides with him and takes parts of his body.

For a little debrief, the main idea of Codebreaker is that Emmet discovers that he exists in a false reality, and that there is a parallel plane where all of the instructions for his reality exist. He finds his way to this plane by accident after walking back from another lonely day at work, and is hellbent on learning how to manipulate it in the hopes that he can recover Ingo with that knowledge. Kudari is his own set of instructions, who he partly dismantles, allowing him to actually interact with the code. This leaves a hollowed out shell that starts trying to find his own way to get his body back from Emmet.

I'd been thinking about the Beta Submas leaks which lead me to sketching him again. Here's the first rough warmup sketch I did with a fight between him and Emmet.

From there I just started reworking his old design to be worse 💀

Stricklake month 24 : Shipwrecked/Resort

I chose shipwrecked and went overboard with it. Not as much as last prompt but still...

SO I AM DONE. Did it take me forever to figure the pose out??? YES. Did I give up????? almost- BUT I DIDN’T.

Sooo. Walter get's shipwrecked as he is on a mission for his overlord Gunmar. He get's attacked and looses continuousness after a hard wood hit him on his head. However...a mysteriously and utterly beautiful creature seemes to save his life.

Small Infos about the designs/Story Ideas:

Barbara was REALLY hard. I had like 10 sketches of her face bc for some damn reason is that woman my NEMESIS TO DRAW. I kid you not her face is something else. I am not skilled enough. Though I managed to find something I liked. Obviously I toned down her colors to match the sea and used her signital colors. The markings on her eyes obviously resemble her glasses and I gave ger piercings...Just because.

Walter was easy as ever. I draw him so much that he just appears on my pages. He obviously slays with his outfit, mullet and piercings. Though he would wear it in canon...no? I mean maybe not a croptop but then again...he basically wears nothing anyways. He has the sigil of the Janus order on his gloves (fingerless bc UGH. HE IS GOOD LOOKING) and wears some form jewellery/accessories on his horns bc it looked nice.

Story wise it will be as I wrote above in the summary BUT you all get Info to the World building. As in 2023 Stricklake month fire/water (see in my masterpost) there is a war going on between the magical creatures/humans who ALL hate each other. (I am a sucker for magical wars) Only the trollhunter, Jim, will be able to retriev peace amongst the races with help of the first ever cross-raced couple Walter&Barbara. Walter is a changeling commander who recruites trolls/changeling for his overlord Gunmar and kills who refuse to bend the knee. He is the head of the Janus order who is secretly working on killing Gunmar to help the future trollhunter (Jim will be AFTER Barb meets Walt, He will also give Jim a gem that allows him to take a troll like form later). Walter gets caught one day and they ambushed him eventually. He is surprised and almost dies...but gets saved. The Story is simple enough, tell me some ideas to change or how it goes forward if you want <3

She heard me doing things so she came up to the side of her baby bin and blelelelele'd at me until I noticed her. She greets me every morning where we spend the first hour of every day together, her just resting in my hand and me holding her, often gently petting her head and tiny scales. If there is a heaven, that first hour we spend together is it.

She is getting a larger enclosure for her birthday in a month and a half. :D Hopefully I can get it done in time, as I haven't sculpted a custom enclosure before and will be trying some new artistic critiques. I do have experience sculpting though. My biggest worry is the paints and sealing them properly! Art I can do- but food safe art that will be in a moist bioactive enclosure is new for me.

it looks right up my alley but unfortunately i havent had time to buy and play it or watch a playthrough. i want to so bad. it looks heavily NGE inspired and my gay ass is all over that.

since vox upgrades the technological aspects of his body to stay modern, his speech patterns/affectations have likely changed significantly since he came to hell. he probably spoke in a loose trans-atlantic accent at some point considering he died around the 50s and that manner of speech dominated the film industry. did he have an energized 80s game show host era. how many voices has he cycled through. which voice does he perceive to be the truest manifestation of him or does he choose to avoid ruminating on that entirely.

the extent to which there's a static filter over his words seems partially tied to how much emphasis he wants to put on a word + strong emotions. i wonder to what degree the loss of an omnipresent static filter over his speech was an artifact of modernizing tech and to what degree he consciously altered it. if it just came out when he was frustrated, i would think it's similar to his glitching and represents a lack of control, but he intentionally invokes it once or twice when he's perfectly calm.

it’s all a mess except for my min yoongi playlist that’s just like. really soft r&b(ish) songs… i use this playlist as something quiet to have on in the background. definitely recommend. it was serious business curating this playlist.
