I'm more than just a pretty face.

I get so caught up when someone compliments me, but then realize they don't ask anything about me.

They don't ask about the music I like. Or my comfort movies. My favorite food. What hobbies I enjoy. The last concert I went to. Only after I ask first.

I'm so upfront and open as a person and it's probably my fault that I expect it from others. I enjoy getting to know people, whether it's in a platonic way or otherwise. Learning at any capacity is what i enjoy.

Do I like getting compliments? Of course. I always appreciate compliments. But it's so...superficial if it's just about my looks.
