i haven’t seen anyone theorizing about the legion’s opinion on alcohol consumption but given how easily the roman empire fell into mania over wine i’ve been considering that caesar maybe had them create a wasteland version of the posca that soldiers historically drank. i think it’d have to live up to his standard of “purity” (both in a physical and “spiritual” sense) for purely pretentious reasons, so they likely refrained from just pilfering others’ booze supplies. anyway i’m imagining they’d have communal drinking celebrations after successful sieges of settlements and it’d almost always be an especially frightful situation for the slaves to be in the middle of so many drunken legionaries

Joshua grew up in a cult which held similar standards of bodily “purity,” so I’d sooner credit him with managing the planned exceptions to alcohol abuse laws than Edward. That’s a subject he’s very used to managing. Compared to chems, alcohol is also very easy to make, distribute, and store. I bet there’s a big underground market for it in New Mexico.

After playing and beating final fantasy 16 I'm saying everyone lives. I don't care bro. Clive lived. Joshua lived. And even Dion lived. I'm living and dying on this delusional hill and their ain't nothing nobody can tell me or do that will change my mind. I loved Joshua to bits you can try and pry him from my grippy little hands. Can't handle bitter endings right now I need me sappy happy endings where everyone finally gets what they want and they kept their promises to everyone to come back. Now if you excuse me it's time to read fanfiction to fill the void in my heart.
