Indie TMNT Comic Dub - Episode 25

EPISODE 25 of Indie TMNT is UP!!!!

CASEY JONES HAS ENTERED THE CHAT~ Guys I was seriously ECSTATIC when I saw the name of this new chapter. Casey Jones and Raphael’s dynamic is one of my very favorites in the TMNT series. (Especially 2003 and 2012). I love how tough they both are but also how much they click with each other. Two hot-headed idiots with big hearts. :) And NOW- heheheheh Now the fun is REALLY gonna start~

This story is written and illustrated by the one and only @indieyuugure, while I played the Voice Talents and edited! Epidemic Sound covered the music and sound effects!

waitttt wait hagn on. re: last thing i reblogged saying that young femal protagonists will go throughh life altering trauma & people complainabout them acting like teenage girls about it SOME PARTICULAR EDA AUTHORS. THINK OF SAM JONES LIKE THAT. 'what if this GIRL who thinks she has all her morals in the right place is confronted with ACTUAL SITUATIONS and GETS MAD ABOUT IT' like no. what if a girl who didnt know what she was sighing up for and was so sure of her self at seventeen, as so many seventeen year olds are, and was determined to do good, was thrown wildly out of her depth and had to navigate life threatening and abjectly miserable circumstances with next to zero actual guidance from the man who was supposed to be looking after her, complictaed further by the incredibly complex nature of their dynamic? what if she had to deal with actual life & death when all her previous experience had been going to protests & painting over signs? what if she had to examine her biases in real time? what if she was alone & stranded with no hope of getting back for years and years and years & the first thing she does is see if there is someone she can make herself helpful?

like there are some authors and even terrance dicks writing her goddamn character outline who obviously think she's annoying & a prat & playing at poverty by *checks notes* not wanting to go to a private school and stuck about about being politically correct & have obvioulsy never tried speaking to a teenager with any level of sincerity because i knwo Exactly why sam is doing all that and how she is thinking about herself & her place in the world a & STILLL some authors just posit her as 'annoying and woke' because they dont think 17 year old girls have genuine feelings or smthn

Anyways, why is everybody talking about the island ending? I mean, cmon, I'm literally getting married in FIVE DAYS- if the island "ends" or whatever and and-

are we all going to die?

Hi Hope! And you can certainly call me that, if you want! I'm glad you're so chipper today.

As far as the island ending: There's no need to really worry. Everyone on the island will remain ok, we'll just be in a different place! And it may be overwhelming and disorienting at first, but you'll get used to it.

If you're worried about bringing over some of your important stuff, just be sure to keep it on your person during the day of the 1st-- that gives the best chance of it making the trip with you. And make sure you have an emergency line out to your dad, and to Glitch, just in case you get separated. I know I'll be doing a role call for all our allies when we end up wherever we're going, so it shouldnt take more than a day to meet back up again anyways!

Does anyone else forget that media besides Tmnt exists bc the other day I looked up Casey Jones as a reference photo for my twin and this came up and boy it took me like 5 mins to figure out what was happening

(I lost the og screenshot and somehow my phone learned that I only care ab ninja turtles so instead of the train it gave me CASEY which is cool but not what I needed for this post so I had to add “train” to the search)
