Keith Moon took a drug to calm his nerves and collapsed during their concert. "Can Anybody Play The Drums"? 19 Year old fan Scot was the knight in shining armour and saved the last 3 songs.

HOW THE NAME "LED ZEPPELIN" WAS CREATED

In May 1966, Keith Moon and The Who bassist John Entwistle recorded the instrumental Beck's Bolero with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jeff Beck.

The recording went very well and Page proposed the idea of starting a superband together. Moon said the group would crash like a lead baloon. Two years later, Page remembered that phrase and founded Led Zeppelin.

"It's a name that Keith Moon had mentioned in the past – Page said – he said 'Wouldn't it be fun to call a band Led Zeppelin?'. So I asked him if we could use that name. When we went to play in Scandinavia, we actually performed as the New Yardbirds, it was like a sort of invisibility cloak. Even in our first recordings we used this name because I didn't want anyone to find out the real name of the band until it was officially revealed."
