Hi I haven’t been on tumblr in a hot sec but Ranboo’s lore stream just ended and my mind running with ideas.

If you haven’t watch the lastest Ranboo Lore stream, skip this or enjoy spoilers/theories you won’t understand :) (or read it cause I often recap the streams in theories too)

So, first, HOLY FICK MY MIND RACING WITH IDEAS AND I HATE IT AND LOVE BUT AHHHHHHHHH

Warning first parts a recap, feel free to skip if u want.

Anyways,,, Ranboo visited Dream in prison, and then some weird stuff happened.

Ranboo was literally shaking when he turned around to see Dream when he entered the cell, weather it was intended or not, it was a nice small detail.

They exchange greeting and then Ranboo mentions how they have barely talked and how his visit is surprising, however Dream says the opposite. How he and Ranboo have probably talked the most out of everyone on the server and the visit was expected and actually surprised it didn’t happen sooner. Dream even called them BEST FRIENDS,,, idk bout you but the seems sus to me. Ranboo thinks Dream is trying to scare him and Dream says, “Why are you acting different?”,,,, that’s weird,,,that’s suspicious.

Ranboo says that he’s not acting different, acting the way he normally acts and Dream acts like he realizes what’s happening, but doesn’t outwardly say it. Ranboo doesn’t understand and Dream states that he’s glad Ranboo visited. He then goes on to say Ranboo has been a good helping hand, Ranboo starts talking about how he wants to confront Dream about the panic room, and the things Dream, supposabley, told him. Dream says that Ranboo did do those things and then says, “Yiu did do them, after Dream told you to do them, but you did do them.” WHY IS HE ALL OF THE SUDDEN IN THIRD PERSON???????

They continue talking about how Ranboo got rid of the voice and the green man(idk who is who anymore so that is who I am deeming him as, the person Ranboo is taking to) says he only got rid of the voice because Dream is in prison and they haven’t talkedlike they usually do, therefore not hearing the voice. GREEN MAN THEN SAYS YOU USE TO TAK TO HIM EVERYDAY. IM AM BASICALLY CRYING AT THIS POINT.

Ranboo then catches onto the third person speaking, thinking Green Man has gone insane. Green Man show Ranboo’s the books he’s been keeping and all of them are named, “Do not read”, the same title as Ranboo’s memory book. And, and, they are all the same, like everything written in all of them, THE SAME.

Ranboo freaks out and then Green Man says, “You need to face the truth...the truth is that you helped me, you’ve helped Dream” I am so confused on if he’s Dream or not, so he’s staying Green Man. Anyways, Ranboo tries to deny a everything but, this is where it gets exciting, Green Mann says, “I’m not even Dream”,,,, this is where the theories start flooding my brain. Ranboo tries to makes sense of things but Green Man says, “I know what you went through, because I’m you” more theories at this point.

Ranboo denies everything again and Green Man explains “Look you’ve been helping Dream the only reason you haven’t been taking to me recently is because you just can’t picture what he sounds like, you used to talk to him everyday, used to help him, he would tell you thing to do, you were like his little, servant”. Ranboo just denies everything so much omfg. Green Man and him just continuous say “oh no I didn’t” and “oh but you did” and just overall disagreeing with each other.

Ranboo then bring up that he doesn’t remember any of it, Green man says that Ranboo does. Ranboo’s perplexed, and GREEN MAN SAYS THE MINE OF “Yu do cause I’m you” RUINING EVERYTHING MUCH HUH????? Green man also says he isn’t real and disappears.

Ranboo talked to himself about how he got rid of the voice, and continues to be affect with nusious effect. (idk and idc if it’s affect or effect shut up.) The prison cell then collapses onto him and Ranboo tries to get out of it, saying he’s got ride of the voice and tries to make sense of everything, then he falls and dies, and the screen goes to that stupid Dream smile, Morse code then appears with the crown flashing on and off and, according to Twitter, it says, “Not free yet”.

Anyways, theory time :)

So I want to start with the Mining fatigue effect/Neather portal situation

At first when Ranboo goes though the Neather portal, he isn’t in the box we saw in Tommy’s stream, idk if it was a bug but it’s going in the theory. He instead ends up in a Warped Forest and goes back though the portal, back at the prisons enterance, and goes through once more to end up in, what I’ve deemed, the wavier and locker room of the prison.

The mining fatigue effect normally effects you, usually, when you are near or in the prison. If you watch Philza, in one of his stream Phil continuously drinks milk when he outside of the prison in attempted to get rid of the effect, but it doesn’t go away, why? ITS BEACON EFFECT. In the top right of Ranboo’s stream you can see that he doesn’t have a Beacon effect, signaled by the blue outline, but instead has the regular Guardian effect instead. That’s weird,,,,,, that’s suspicious.

This could mean that they aren’t in the actual prison, but instead in a different prison replaca(? idk spelling) built specifically for this. Meaning, IT COULD BE ALL A DREAM. Think about, the Neather portal leading somewhere different, different beacon effects, the ceiling collapsing and Sam not being worried, and Dream stating that him and Ranboo are the same.

It is becoming increasingly more obvious that the other half of Ranboo is Dreamon. Dream being in Ranboo’s head, Ranboo not remembering Dream interactions, heck even Ranboo’s memory loss could be due to Dream. He could be stealing his memories so Ranboo can’t do anything Dream doesn’t want.

I’m not that good at putting things into words so I’m sorry if things don’t makes sense.

Holy fucking shit. Cappucio's art will never cease to make my jaw drop. One of my favorite things about it is how in panels like this the lines are blurred and there are no hard outlines. He's standing there like the statue of khonshu from the 80s run (which im sure is intentional), but he also is towering over Marko while he kneels at his feet. I had assumed (or hoped) that he and Layla would have just grown apart so that he'd end up with Marlene eventually, but this hurts me man. I think it is a little teensy bit messy because why would he or Frenchie never mention her after her death, but trying to write her in so far after the fact was never going to be seamless. Is it a little forced? Perhaps but it was always gonna be. Do I care? Absolutely fkin not I love Layla

Aaaaaand that's about it! Except for there is something I need to say about black spectre and who he is but I think it deserves its own post.

Overall really loved this issue a lot. I was initially super annoyed about Laylas death but it does make sense, and it's not like we aren't about to get more Layla content. And I adored seeing her as a mercenary and the subtle nod to her connections based on how she's shown in the Disney Plus show. It's nice they're including those parts of her character, and again I would read the shit out of a solo series of her doing her merc thing and later scarlet scarab thing, depending on the status quo that City of the Dead sets up. Either way, very excited! But if Layla isn't more of a central character throughout City of the Dead I am going to feel somewhat cheated. But maybe we did all get our hopes up a tad prematurely but I hope not!! I think she's a great opportunity to bring in more MCU fans to the comics, and she honestly has so much potential to be a very complex character who can stand on her own.

And then of course it was great to see Frenchie, I would love to see those two reconcile at some point in the future but also if it doesn't happen that would make sense tbh. The crew mk has now is wonderful and a well overdue revamp that meets the character where he's at now and Frenchie just straight up doesn't fit into the status quo at this point. Also let the man rest lol

  The moon shining through the trees as you made your way home you mood still not changed from earlier you and you boyfriend jimin had been having fights recently and his temper and attitude had completely changed and took it out on you. You continued to walk to your apartment you both shared nervous of what was a waiting you. His morning he had screamed at you  for making him breakfast and yelled at you to leave him alone which ended you going out the door in tears crying your heart of on the bus with the only comfort you had gotten in weeks which laid in the arms of a elderly woman who gave you a cuddle and gave you a tissue as she saw you crying.

So why was he so mad?

Well you were about to find out, you stood there hesitantly putting you key in the lock and quietly open the door only to be greeted with darkness and silence.

“Jimin baby” you said with caution in your voice. Only to be greeted with silence.

You saw a light on in the office so carefully walked towards it with your heart in your throat. Why were you so scared? you had been dating for since you were 9 and he was 11. And you had never had a argument you now 19 turning 20 soon and the jimin you fell for was slowly fading away and you didn’t know why.

You approached the door and took a big deep breath and knocked on the door only to be greeted with silence again. You open the door to see your boyfriend slouched over the desk with his back towards you and the desk covered in papers ,documents  and folders. He let out a sigh and picked up a folder from the follow only to be surprised when he saw you in the door way.

“what do you want” he sniggered and continued you Fick through the folder.

“I wanted to see you baby” you smiled and moved away from the door and moved over to him.

“Why did you come back?” he said clearly annoyed by your presence.

“I missed you I know you have been working so hard so wanted to see if you were okay “you said gently gliding your fingers through his black hair only for him to slap them way in an angry mood.

Why was he like this? You loved him so much why? Hot tears gushing down your face as you continued to think of jimin.

You waited for the bus yes you didn’t drive your parents died in a car accident when you were 15 meaning you lived with your grandma and were terrified to  get behind the wheel. You tired but ended up bursting in to tears and having a panic attack but finding your way in to jimins arms made everything better. But also you didn’t need to jimin drove and you went everywhere together so there wasn’t any need. You even went to the same college together he bought you lunch every day and picked you up from college on the days he wasn’t at college and was working. He was amazing so what changed.

The bright green bus pulled up to the stop and you got on the buses around here were all old and rusty so it took a while to start again, Luckily you only lived 2 minutes way from the town so it didn’t take long for you to be stepping of the bus only to be greeted with raining the down pour covered the jumper in seconds and remembering you  didn’t bring you a umbrella you signed and continued to walk towards the nearest restaurant your shoes squeaking as you did so.

You pushed open the door only for the smell of chips and curry to hit your nostrils making you drool at the smell.  The place was cute and clean was empty with only a few tables full you made your way to an empty table that was near the window and sat down you began to watch the rain pour down the windows .It was 6.30 and you hadn’t eaten all day you wanted to ask jimin if he wanted to go out to eat he had been working day and studying all night for weeks and you wanted him to have a break. That didn’t happen you wiped away the fresh tears that escaped your eyes and quickly wiped them away with your sodden grey jumper before anyone saw.

“Good afternoon miss what do you want today?” a cute boy said his teeth sticking out and his smile covering his whole face You sat up and smiled at the man before saying.

“Hi ermm chips and Diet coke Please” you said and he walked away to get your order giving you a small smile before he did so.

45 minutes later

You got bored of looking through Instagram all pictures of your friends with happy lives good boyfriends, money, boyfriends spoiling them with teddys and perfume and expensive holidays to the Caribbean. Jimin worked hard but you wanted a little bit of attention he hadn’t bought you anything in ages he used to do it all the time. Even when you were kids he bought you this pink cow on your first date and you loved it. you sighed and   checked your phone seeing if there was any messages from Jimin but sadly no. You had been gone for hours didn’t he care.

“I have your meal sorry for the long wait” you snapped out of your day dream to see the young waiter placing the food on the table and giving you a smile.

“it’s okay thank you” you spoke giving him a smile before he left the table and went to another table.

You picked up the salty goodness and placed it in your mouth only for you to moan in response it was good. You picked up more chips and placed them in ketchup and shoved them in your mouth. You shoved food in nonstop until the plate was clean. Satisfied that the chips filled your hunger you have a big drink of you coke and picked up the menu.

 do they do cake? You thought in your head and flicked through the menu looking for a desert to satisfy your sweet tooth.

“That’s my boyfriend’s favourite” the young waiter looked over your shoulder and look at the ice cream with sprinkles and smiled. 

“OOOHH okay I will have one please “you said as he picked up the empty dishes and went back to the kitchen.

Not long after he placed the ice cream down and you drooled in response your mouth filled with saliva as you began to eat this delicious treat.

You finished eating and paid and then made your way back to the bus stop only to be greeted with the rain again and only to remember that the bus stopped 20 minutes ago. You signed and began to walk back home.

Did jimin want you there? You began to realise he said leave what were you going to do you didn’t have anywhere else to stay?

It was now 9:30 it was raining and dark and he hadn’t come looking for you it was clear he didn’t care you said in your mind and sat down on a rock. Were you not enough for him did he get bored? Maybe he was dating his co-worker at work she was blonde and had a curvy body you always were jealous of her. Did you not satisfy him anymore? Did he find someone else?

You didn’t understand what had happened why was he like this he had always been loving a kind so why the sudden change?. You fell for him very quick when you first met it was at a friends party and you   had a crush on him  straight way with his chubby cheeks and cute smile he was lovley and kind  just what you wanted. Time passed and you loved him more he always treated you to little things meals out , movie dates an gifts but the last few weeks he changed. You tried to ask what was wrong but always got yelled at.

Was this the end for you both?

You were brought out of your thoughts as your saw you had 10 miss calls from jimin and 15 texts asking where you were. You smiled as your saw he did care about you, you couldn’t stop the smile forming on your lips. You suddenly were blinded by car head lights as the car pulled up in front of you.

You saw jimins head get out the car with a bouquet of red roses in his hand and small smile on his face before running over to you.

“I’m so sorry please don’t leave me again” he said as he burst in to tears. You looked at him with a confused look.

  “Baby I’m so sorry “he continued “ I’m such a bad boyfriend I went after you after I said those things I wanted to apologies but I couldn’t fine you I started to worry that you had left me for good” he said while holding your hand and letting a few tears escape from his eyes.

You open your mouth to speak but jimin spoke up again.

“Y/N you mean so much to me and I realised how much of an ass I have been and I am so sorry I don’t want to make you cry anymore , I saw what my life would be like without you and I don’t want that I am so ashamed of what I have been saying to you these last few weeks I don’t know what happened” He said through tears.

“But I promise it won’t happen again baby I swear I can’t live without you baby “ He paused and smile and huge smile formed on his lips and he said the next words that would change your life.

“Will you marry me” he said as he got on knee and pulled out a ring.

“Yes” you said as he burst in to tears.

“How long have you had this?” you questioned as he slipped the wedding band on your finger.

“About 2 days after I met you baby” he said as he pressed his lips against yours.
