A year ago I made maps for TGCF. Now that I'm a bit more skilled in the drawing department I decided to re-work them — this time to match the revised version!

always a fan of my midnight thoughts of yllz!wwx's last moments with a-yuan :]

they might as well be the last ones alive of their little family and wwx knows in his bones that he's not going to survive the night.

one possible scenario is wwx trying to drown out the sounds of carnage by humming to a-yuan his favourite lullaby. maybe a-yuan's already asleep in his arms but he keeps humming anyways in case the nightmare chases him into his dreams.

thinking abt wwx gently tucking in a-yuan in the tree stump. gives him one last lil forehead kissie. "from everyone." he had whispered then. a-yuan doesnt hear. he's fast asleep.

maybe wwx's last words could have been

"live well, a-yuan. take all the time you need. we'll wait for you. bring lots of stories to us."

maybe these last moments are forgotten by both wwx and a-yuan. maybe it remains buried beneath the dead soil of the burial mounds.

or maybe a curse during a night-hunt with the juniors drags this memory of his to the forefront

I know that in the books, Nie Huaisang becomes Chief Cultivator after everything, and in the show it's Lan Wangji. However, there's an AU that lives in my brain where eventually, maybe not immediately but eventually, the title gets passed to Lan Jingyi instead. I have no justification for this, I just think it would be fun

i just had a ddream that at the end of cs, mime bomb spoke but there was literally no sound. like, they cut the audio off but all the other characters could hear him 😭

and i remember thinking during the dream that "mime bomb mustve been the studios favorite character cuz hes low budget" or something cuz he didnt have a VA 😭

its why hes so insistent that chu wanning looks down on him, because chu wanning is just like everyone else and doesnt think he's worth enough for something like "fairness"
