This Vegan Sweet and Spicy BBQ Tofu by Rabbit and Wolves tastes great with both sweet and savory foods. Tofu cubes that have been perfectly grilled and marinated in a delicious mix of soy sauce, maple syrup, and spices. This dish will make your mouth water and satisfy your barbecue cravings without breaking your vegan lifestyle.
Ingredients: 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 2 tablespoons ketchup. 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish.
Instructions: To make the marinade, mix the soy sauce, maple syrup, ketchup, sriracha, apple cider vinegar, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl with a whisk. Put the tofu cubes in a shallow dish and cover them with half of the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, and turn the tofu every so often to make sure it gets a good coating. Set the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat to get it hot. Tofu cubes that have been marinated can be put on skewers or put on the grill directly. To keep things from sticking, brush with vegetable oil. For 10 to 12 minutes, turn the tofu over and baste it with the marinade you saved, making sure it gets a nice char. Remove from the grill once done and top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy the Vegan Sweet and Spicy BBQ Tofu with your favorite sides.

Indulge in the flavors of fall with this creamy and nutritious Paleo-friendly pumpkin coconut milk pudding. It's dairy-free, gluten-free, and sweetened naturally with honey or maple syrup. The addition of chia seeds not only thickens the pudding but also adds a boost of fiber and omega-3 fatty acids. Top it off with some toasted coconut flakes and chopped nuts for a delightful treat!
Ingredients: 1 cup canned pumpkin puree. 1 can 14 oz full-fat coconut milk. 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup. 1 tsp ground cinnamon. 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg. 1/4 tsp ground ginger. 1/4 tsp salt. 2 tsp vanilla extract. 2 tbsp chia seeds. Toasted coconut flakes and chopped nuts for garnish optional.
Instructions: Pumpkin puree, coconut milk, honey, maple syrup, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, ground cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract should all be combined in a mixing bowl. Blend until well-combined and smooth. To evenly distribute the chia seeds throughout the pudding mixture, stir them in and stir again. For the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken the pudding, cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least 4 hours or overnight. Make sure the pudding is thoroughly combined by giving it a good stir before serving. Pour the pudding into glasses or serving bowls. Add some texture and taste to each serving by sprinkling chopped nuts and toasted coconut flakes on top. Enjoy your tasty and nutritious pumpkin coconut milk pudding chilled!

It's really simple to make these chocolate vegan donuts, and they're great for when you need something sweet. They are made with coconut flour, which makes them light and fluffy, and maple syrup is used to make them sweet. You can make them your own by adding your favorite toppings.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup coconut flour. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1/4 cup coconut milk. 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Vegan chocolate chips optional, for topping.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a donut pan. Mix the cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and coconut flour in a large bowl with a whisk. The dry ingredients should be mixed with the maple syrup, coconut milk, coconut oil, and vanilla extract until everything is well mixed. Put enough batter into each donut mold to fill it about three quarters of the way to the top. Bake the donuts for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle of one comes out clean. The donuts should cool in the pan for a few minutes before being moved to a wire rack to cool all the way down. You can melt the vegan chocolate chips in the microwave or on the stove if you want to, then drizzle the chocolate over the donuts once they are cool. Serve and have fun!

Vermont maple syrup makers face uncertainty amid Canada and China tariff chaos
Producing maple syrup in New England is already a challenge thanks to unpredictable spring weather — and now, President Donald Trump's shifting tariff strategies are stirring even more uncertainty in an industry deeply tied to international trade.
Tumblr media
“Any disruption in our cross-border operations hits us hard,” said Jim Judd, a fourth-generation sugar maker and owner of Judd’s Wayeeses Farms in Morgan, Vermont. “Making maple syrup is uncertain enough as it is.”
