The Nelons, a renowned American Southern Gospel group, made a significant return to the music scene after several years with their latest album "Loving You," which released on August 30. This 11-song collection marks their first chart appearance, debuting at No. 9 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart dated September 14. With an impressive total of 3,000 equivalent album units sold predominantly through album sales, the group is gaining traction in a competitive genre where emotional connection with the audience is paramount. However, this achievement is shadowed by tragedy, as three members of the Nelons—Kelly Nelon Clark, Jason Clark, and Amber Nelon Kistler—lost their lives in a plane crash in northeast Wyoming on July 26. Opa and Oma memorial home service - Friday 27th October

The week before my dad's mum's grave stone was completed I went to grave to pay my respects and I thought it was time to pay respects to my elders before me. I thought it would be nice to hold a memorial service for our grand parents I already do that with my side of family this one was more to focus on Matt's family.

I invited Matt's family over for roast. Roast was what Matt had a lot with this grand parents. Fran made chocolate ripple cake which was the first dessert her mum taught her. Her father took his life when she was 6 so she doesn't have any vivid memory of him but we still thought of him. Everyone shared stories of the grand parents which was really nice because I didn't get to know them but through these stories I got a glimpse who these people were. As long we remember them they are always with us.
