i hope everyone who uses any type of meta social media, and are european, are making sure to opt out of their new use of AI!

they are using the "information shared on Meta’s Products and services," including "things like posts or photos and their captions" to train its AI models.

the best way to make sure they don't use your data is to delete all your accounts, but there is an opt-out form uk and eu users can fill out. i followed the steps in this article, and my request was approved pretty quickly.

How to Opt Out from Meta's AI models on Instagram

I have found the link to the right form.

You'll wish to complete said form if you have an Instagram account, post your work on there and do not want your work to be used to train AI models.

Tip: Be patient once you have sent in the code that will be mailed to you. It takes a little while for it to be sent. Do NOT refresh the page and wait patiently.

Once done, you should receive a mail confirming that you were opted out.

In short, we never see R&J’s sweet honey become “loathsome in its own deliciousness.” I’m not saying that interpreting R&J as an allegory for the typical love relationship is clownish just because (1) aspect doesn’t fit neatly into the allegory. Allegories do not need to be exact. But if Shakespeare had wanted R&J to exemplify this very universal phenomenon of a passionate relationship losing steam and breaking down...he could have shown R&J’s love actually lose steam and break down. Or shown that they are not truly compatible and would have broken up had things gone right, even if the lovers themselves don’t realize it. He didn’t, though. So the Friar’s dire warning never really comes true. In the end, it’s a possibility, but a possibility made irrelevant by R&J’s circumstances. I don’t know, does this make sense?

It inspired my to think hard about how to use my social media, what accounts online I do not need anymore and thus delete them, getting a more secure e-mail address ... and I am still working my way through the rest of the blog series. The author also takes into account that there are people who cannot do all of the suggestions, for instance because they have to use certain internet things for work or for other reasons.

Got my first Google AI BS result when searching something while hanging out with friends and right then and there switched all search preferences to duckduckgo and plan to do the same when I'm on desktop. If anyone has other search engines they recommend as alternatives to google, let me know.

so meta is using all Instagram art to train their ai, you can object in their privacy policy settings (which I just did) and I got a mail saying that they'll proceed with my objection "in the future"

does anyone know how long does it actually take or is this a way of them low-key saying that they couldn't care less about my opt out

oh i figured out why people are hating the tv theory they've got a slightly different one in mind then i do - go rewatch the third doctor all the way through and you might start to see the vision i hold. or google iris faction paradox. i think thats right idk i got the hunch in 2022 its been awhile. also boss. i remember boss being involved ( character) (i think boss being the vlinx but like i said researched this hunch 2022/2023 still havent shaken it )
