[npd-advice]

how do i tell the difference between good and bad?

Good and bad is honestly much more flexible than people want to admit, in my opinion. What might be "good" to someone might be "bad" to someone else, and vice versa. I typically say I'm a bad person just because I reject and don't fit into conventional morals.

I sorta just base it off of level of harm, I suppose. Unless it severely harms someone physically or mentally, I tend to not think too hard about it.

Nevia is a lake monster who dislikes going out in crowded public spaces. It prefers to stay at home or be in nature. However, it enjoys creating art and crafts, and it likes learning about topics that are interesting to the system.

Nevia protects the system in social situations, where one of its front triggers is social fatigue. In those situations, it handles the situations in a fairly emotionless way that often causes others to disengage, while she tries to disengage with the situation itself. It is also protective in general, to the point of sometimes acting like an aggressive creature.

Nevia dislikes being seen or being in the public eye, but if it gains a reputation for being a "cryptid" or otherwise rare or unusual, she finds this validating. She is much more sociable with members of its own system than external people.

Nevia feels masculine and gravitates towards masculine clothing but feels disconnected from actual binary gender. She mostly feels eerie and non-human so labels herself "kenochoric". 1: First starter was either Cyndaquil or Totodile, I can’t quite remember. I played both my HeartGold and SoulSilver games at the same time as a kid, so I’m not sure which one I went with first, but I’m pretty sure it was Totodile on my SoulSilver copy.

Random anecdote, but speaking of Johto starters, I’ve never actually finished a run of HGSS with Chikorita to this day?? Considering how many times I’ve replayed it, no idea how that hasn’t happened yet. Guess I just keep restarting those runs or something, cause I’ve never even had a Meganium. I also still read Meganium as Magnamum all the time cause I guess kid me couldn’t read and now Magnamum is seared into my brain??? Idk

Hi, so I deal with a lot of paranoia around other people since I believe most people are bad in some way and untrustworthy and scary, I'm pretty sure it's a mix of NPD (the whole "I hate nearly everyone because I'm better than them) with social anxiety, but it's severely affected my social life. How would you recommend trying to get past this, especially as this is also something to do with people around my age and younger?

I won't make any assumptions about any medical availability, but I will say that being put on mood stabilizers did help me out a lot when I was younger. And as I got older, it helped my personality actually flesh out and properly develop (and apparently it developed wrong. whoopsies.)

Other than that, I'd start small. If you're a student, I'd start with talking to people in group projects. Otherwise it's kinda hard for me to say cause I.. don't really talk to people a lot offline LMFAO

There should really be a friend-making app for neurodivergent people... like a platonic tinder for the people too cool for neurotypicals
