Does anyone know stuff about monitor calibration? cause the last art piece I made looks great on my monitor but is so dark its barely visible on my phone screen (┬_┬)
I found a setting called "scenery mode" on my monitor that yeets up the saturation and contrast and looks similar to the way my phone looks, should I just keep it on this one?
Like is there any way to know that the colors and contrast on my screen are as close to default as possible?

Here it is.
Uncle Mod please for all that is holy - I swear it wasn't a fever dream, but I can't find the information now, but I swear on my life it was something you reblogged; there was a post that was reblogged about how computer screens were never the same color/never matched on the RGB scale and etc, and someone added to the post about a website... program.... thing??? that would help you scale and match your monitors so they were as close to the same color as possible???
I'm working with two different computer screens at home, from two different entire eras of manufactoring, and two different brands - NOT INCLUDING my drawing tablet, that is a screen itself. I'm trying to get the RGB to match as best I can and its going to drive me insane, please tell me you know the post I'm talking about and you can link it to me/reblog it again for me to see I swear it was something you reblogged please tell me I'm not already insane LMFAO UNCLE MOD HELP ME-
*Lights the Bat Signal YO TECH PEOPLE. ANYONE KNOW THIS POST???

very little has ever made me think as much about color as being a bridesperson for someone who's okay with us not matching but has a very specific vision btw. including color correcting photos for my actual job. or oil painting class

Hi! I was wondering how you edit your pictures? They look beautiful :)
hi and thank you :)
my gshade preset does most of the editing, but i use topaz clean to smooth them out, then the smart sharpen tool in photoshop to get them nice and crispy. i also add more shadows/highlights if i feel like it's needed. so fun fact: i use two different monitors and the colors are so off on both of them. i never really know what my photos look like until i see them on my phone. sometimes they are super dull and other times they are crazy over saturated. what i've been doing recently as a fun lil last step is just slapping a filter on them once they are on my phone. it makes them look a lot more cohesive, esp when i do huge photo dumps. i use both vsco and tezza for the filters.
