It's ok and important to let yourself grieve.
A 3 page collab on some kinds of grief and how it shows up more or less. I hope its helpful
It's okay to 'grieve' things that aren't just death. I've allowed myself to grieve a friendship ending, a situationship, losing something important to me, etc. It's okay to give yourself time to process the loss of something. Grief looks different for everyone, try to find a way that works for you to help make it easier for you.

There are even more parts to grief (whee) however, recognizing them as they are, helps you adjust and give yourself space.
I don’t know who needs to hear this but grief is so much more than just something you experience when someone dies. it’s okay to grief opportunities and time lost. people you used to know. people you used to be. relationships. ways of living. places. your childhood. you can feel grief over so many things and it’s okay and real and seeking help is okay too, you’re not being disrespectful.

Thanks! Oh! I have a question! I saw your work about teenage mutant ninja turtles and loved it! What gave you the idea to draw you the comic if you mind me asking?
I’m not sure which tmnt comic you mean, I’ve drawn three tmnt comics: Fire/Wind, Neapolitan and Wasp. SO I’LL ANSWER FOR ALL THREE!
Fire/Wind was a round robin comic done with Kitteh. So most of the plot was done on the fly. It started out as a practice comic for me and Kitteh to try out, and it kind of bloomed into something bigger. After the first part was nearing its end we decided that we’d make it chapter based, each one titled after the elements which suited each turtle. Fire (Raph), Wind (Mikey), Earth (Donnie) and Water (Leo).
Neapolitan was made for a Leo x Mikey online fan book. The story was written by Kitteh. I went icecream colours because of the story. Asking Kitteh she says: I thought it would be cute that Leo found it was gross that Mikey was eating his pet icecream cat. And so Mikey decides to find a way to make Leo like it which involves kissing.
Wasp was also made for a Donnie x Leo online fan book. It was also written by Kitteh based on the Wasp episode of tmnt 2012. I had to shorten the story and make it a semi silent comic because of time constraints.
