𓂅new order. "tarte aux fraises and a pain au chocolat."

Contracts and preferences pt.1 pt.2

pairing. Aventurine x gn!reader x Dr ratio (poly) cw/genre. angst, argument, some slow burn again, slight being left out, some nsfw in pt.2, negligent attitudes synopsis. you went from being “decoration” and “ partner” to “ servant” and “assistant”. full menu
The more you gave, the more they seemed to demand, leaving you feeling like you were slowly sacrificing your own identity in the process.
Each passing day brought a new chore, a new task to complete.
You longed for a moment of understanding or appreciation, but it felt like your efforts were going unnoticed.
But you always pushed these thoughts and feelings down, telling yourself that it was just part of the job, part of being their assistant.
You were already managing to hold it mentally, even feeling a little calmer.
But it all went to hell.
You were currently in bed, trying to rest after a busy day.
Both Aventurine and Ratio were there, on the other side of the bed.
Your body was turned, looking at the wall, you've always liked that place.
About an hour, it was only a damn hour before you started hearing faint sound of kissing and movement in bed.
Your body stiffened as you heard the sound of their make-out session in the bed, right beside you.
You tried to ignore it, telling yourself it was normal.
But the sound of their movements and sighs of pleasure filled the room, making it impossible to escape the intimate atmosphere.
You clenched your fists, feeling a mix of discomfort and frustration.
Every kiss, every touch they shared felt like an invasion of your already limited space.
You desperately wanted to shout at them to stop, to show some respect for your feelings and the boundaries of the relationship.
But you lay there, frozen in place, your body tense and your nerves on edge.
The sound of their voices filled the room, intertwined with whispers and panting.
"Ah, wait, not that...not yet," Aven muttered.
You felt a flash of frustration, but you held your tongue.
Each moan and gasp seemed like a knife twisting in your heart.
You tried to block out the sound of their pleasure, but it was like a damn torment.
"Are you sure they're asleep?" you heard Aventurine ask, keeping his voice low.
"Yeah, just be quiet," Ratio responded, his voice hushed.
Your heart sank at his words, realizing that they thought you were sound asleep, oblivious to their intimate moments.
How many times had they done this before, assuming you were asleep?
The realization hit you like a punch in the gut.
Their voices became more hurried, their movements more urgent.
You hated this.
Their breaths, their moans filled the room, mingling with the rustling of sheets and the creaking of the bed.
You clenched your jaws, tears of frustration welling up in your eyes.
Each sound seemed to mock your presence, disregarding your feelings and boundaries.
Damn, it'd be a long night.
…
It was a long night.
You barely managed to get the dream together.
You stayed all night in the same position you were in, so you felt your body sore and numb.
When you tried to move, you felt something was attached to your back.
Aventurine was curled up against your back, sleeping peacefully.
You were trapped in his embrace, unable to move without waking him up.
You felt a mixture of irritation, struggling to untangle yourself from his grip.
But Aventurine seemed to cling to you, his arms wrapped possessively around you even in his sleep.
You gritted your teeth, frustration and frustration growing.
Ratio lay on his back, still sound asleep.
You didn't even notice that they had settled like that.
Aventurine's embrace was warm and tight, but it felt suffocating.
You tried to carefully wriggle free, but his grip only tightened, pulling you closer against his chest.
You cursed silently, feeling trapped.
Each futile attempt to move only made him snuggle tighter against you, his breath tickling your skin.
Their sleepy murmurs and sighs only added to your frustration.
Aventurine murmured something unintelligible, his head nuzzling against your shoulder as he slept.
You tried to contain your frustration and desperation.
You didn't want to make a scene, but the longer you stayed stuck like this, the more your irritation grew.
The feeling of being trapped, both physically and emotionally, was unbearable.
Finally you couldn't take it anymore and with one hand you shook his shoulder a little.
Aventurine muttered in his sleep, stirring slightly at your touch.
He let out a groggy mumble, his grip loosening slightly.
"Hm... what..?" he muttered, his voice thick with sleep.
Ratio stirred too, waking up due to the disturbance.
He blinked clearly, rubbing his eyes.
You took the opportunity to break free from Aventurine's embrace.
With a slight push, you managed to move away from him, freeing yourself from his grip.
Ratio groggily sat up, rubbing his eyes and looking sleepy.
"What's going on?" He asked, His voice still groggy.
"Nothing, nothing," you said, once you had finally freed yourself from his arms.
"You can go back to sleep," you added, as you moved down the bed, getting up.
Ratio raised an eyebrow, noting the tension in your movements.
"Are you alright?" He asked, genuinely confused.
Aventurine mumbled incoherently, his arm still outstretched as if trying to find you in his sleep.
"Better than ever," you said, with some sarcasm in your tone.
Then you left the room, to go to the bathroom and then start doing your things.
Ratio watched you go, a mixture of concern and confusion etched on his face.
He glanced at Aventurine, still asleep and mumbling in his sleep.
"What the hell was that...?" Ratio muttered, running a hand through his hair.
For your part, you were still in a bad mood, because of the bad night and everything that was starting to come together.
You left the bathroom, somewhat refreshed, starting to go to the kitchen, to prepare the damn breakfast, as always.
You entered the kitchen, feeling a pang of frustration as you began preparing breakfast.
The motions felt mechanical, your mind preoccupied with the events of the night before.
You couldn't shake the feeling of being ignored and underappreciated.
Every task felt like another responsibility piled on your shoulders, another item on a never-ending checklist.
As you went about making breakfast, the kitchen slowly began to fill with the aroma of food.
The sounds of frying and sizzling filled the air, a familiar routine you had grown accustomed to.
After some time, Ratio entered the kitchen, still a bit sleepy.
He approached you, leaning against the counter as you continued to work.
"What's on the menu today?" he asked, stifling a yawn.
You replied without looking at him, focusing on preparing the food.
"Toast, scrambled eggs, and sausage."
Ratio hummed in acknowledgment, his gaze following your every move.
He opened his mouth to say something, but he closed it soon after, noting your distant behavior.
Ratio stayed for a moment, observing you in the kitchen, noting the slight detachment in your demeanor.
The silence between you was palpable, as you continued preparing breakfast without meeting his gaze.
Ratio shifted his weight, leaning against the counter.
"You seem quiet today," he finally said, breaking the stillness.
"As always, love," you said, as you continued to move the sarten a little.
Ratio's eyes narrowed slightly at your response.
"Is everything alright...?" He inquired, his voice laced with concern.
You shrugged nonchalantly, continuing your tasks without lifting your gaze.
"I'm just focused on the breakfast," you replied, dodging the question.
Ratio let out a thoughtful hum, studying your demeanor.
"Are you sure? You seem... tense now."
He tried to catch your eyes, wanting to gauge your mood.
"Nah, you think too much," you said, turning the eggs.
Ratio sighed, realizing that you were not going to give in easily.
He leaned his head slightly, his eyes fixed on your back as you continued cooking.
"Sweetheart, you know you can talk to me, right?"
He tried to sound reassuring, hoping to draw an honest response from you.
Meanwhile, Aventurine appeared in the kitchen, still a bit disoriented.
"Morning," he chimed in, approaching Ratio.
Ratio glanced at him, his expression conveying a silent message.
Aventurine, still half-asleep and disheveled, shuffled closer to Ratio.
He yawned loudly and rubbed his eyes, unaware of the tension in the air.
"What's for breakfast?" he asked, his voice gravelly with sleep.
Ratio looked between Aventurine and you, noting the contrast in your demeanors.
He turned his attention back to Aventurine, trying to divert his attention.
"They're making eggs and toast," he responded, keeping his voice neutral.
Aventurine hummed in approval, the scent of breakfast rousing him further.
He took a seat at the table, still a bit groggy.
"Sounds delicious," he commented, his stomach grumbling.
However, Ratio's eyes lingered on you, his concern growing.
He observed you as you moved around the kitchen, noting the subtle signs of frustration in your movements.
Ratio cast a glance your way, noticing the way you seemed to be deliberately avoiding looking at Aventurine.
He furrowed his brow, mentally noting the subtle cues of discomfort.
He needed to tread carefully here.
"Sweetheart, can you make me a coffee?" Aven asked, from the table, lying down a little on this.
You paused your tasks, turning your gaze towards Aventurine, who was leaning on the table.
His request was a routine one, yet today it felt like another demand added to your already overflowing to-do list.
You let out a soft sigh.
"Sure, love," you responded, forcing a neutral tone.
You tried to keep a neutral expression, though the irritation was bubbling just beneath the surface.
Ratio watched the interaction with a keen eye, sensing the subtle tension in your response.
He observed as you moved to prepare Aventurine's coffee.
The silence in the kitchen was punctuated only by the sounds of brewing coffee and the sizzle of eggs frying.
Ratio continued to study you, noticing the small telltales of your frustration, the slight clenching of your jaw.
Aventurine, blissfully unaware, hummed in appreciation as he waited for his coffee.
He approached you, with calm steps, before taking your waist and attaching his body to your back.
You froze for a moment as Ratio's body suddenly came into contact with your back.
His hands on your waist were a usual gesture, but today felt like an invasion of your personal space.
You tried to conceal your discomfort.
His breath tickled the back of your neck, but instead of comfort, it only heightened your discomfort.
"Uhm... could you?" You said, as you moved your arms a little. Waiting for him to catch the hint.
Ratio seemed to misunderstand your meaning, thinking you were gesturing for something else.
He leaned in a bit more, his presence enveloping you from behind.
"What is it, sweetheart?" he asked, his voice soft and intimate.
Frustration welled up within you as his grip tightened, his body pressed closer against your back.
You let out a forced laugh, trying to maintain a semblance of normalcy.
"I need to finish cooking," you explained, your voice slightly strained. "Can you... give me some space, please?"
Ratio seemed a bit surprised by your request, but he immediately released his grip, stepping back to give you some space.
He tilted his head slightly, his expression showing a hint of concern.
"Sure, of course," he said, his voice laced with understanding.
You let out a sigh, something relieved.
"Can you take this to Aven?" you said as you pointed your hand at the fresh cup of coffee.
Ratio nodded, picking up the cup of freshly brewed coffee.
He approached Aventurine, who was still sitting at the table, and placed the cup in front of him.
"Here you go," Ratio said, his tone soft, while kissing him on the head.
Aventurine let out a slight laugh at his actions.
"Thanks," he said, recording the cup and taking a sip.
Ratio smiled back at Aventurine, watching him save the coffee.
Meanwhile, you attempted to return to cooking, trying to suppress the turmoil of emotions welling up inside you.
However, Ratio's eyes remained fixed on you, his observant gaze taking in your every movement.
Once you finished preparing breakfast, you walked to the table, holding their plates for them to eat.
You left them and also left yours in your place.
Ratio and Aventurine began to eat, the sound of their forks clinking against the porcelain creating a gentle rhythm.
However, Ratio couldn't shake off the unease he felt as he observed your behavior.
He could see the subtle signs of tension in your body language, the small gestures that hinted at your inner turmoil.
Ratio tried to engage in light conversation, hoping to ease the tension.
"The food is delicious, as always," he commented, his gaze flickering towards you.
Aventurine nodded in agreement, devouring his food with enthusiasm.
"Yeah, it's really good. You always make the best breakfast," he said, with his mouth still somewhat full.
"I'm glad you like it," you said, and before you started eating, you got up from the table, to head towards the bedroom.
They watched as you got up and started to leave the table.
His eyebrows furrowed, knowing that something was off by your abrupt departure.
"Sweetheart, you're not going to eat?" Aventurine asked, his voice tinged with concern and confusion.
You paused in your steps, turning slightly to look at them.
"Huh, yeah," you replied, your voice soft. "I'm just going to change the sheets in bed,"
"'cause I don't think you two changed it," you muttered between your teeth, before continuing on your way to the bedroom.
Ratio and Aventurine exchanged glances, realizing the hidden meaning behind your words.
"Right..." Aventurine murmured, a slight hint of embarrassment in his tone.
Meanwhile, Ratio pursed his lips.
Now, more relieved to change the dirty sheets, you left them in the washing machine.
And again you headed towards the dining room, sitting in your place.
When you arrived, you hadn't realized that your plate was now in your hands and suddenly you were now sitting on Ratio's lap.
Ratio, taking advantage of your moment of surprise, had gently pulled you onto his lap without you noticing.
A small gasp escaped your lips as you found yourself sitting on his thighs, the unexpected move leaving you momentarily flustered.
Aventurine chuckled, amused by the sight of you on Ratio's lap.
Ratio wrapped his arms around your waist, holding you snugly against his chest.
"Okay, sweetie," Aven said as he turned a little in his seat.
"Open your mouth," he added, as he approached your fork with food toward your mouth.
You felt a mixture of surprise and slight resistance as Aventurine tried to feed you.
Ratio's arms held you firmly on his lap, preventing you from moving away.
"I can feed myself," you protested, trying to push away Aventurine's hand with the fork.
Aventurine smiled mischievously as he brought the fork closer to your lips.
Ratio let out a soft chuckle, holding you tighter against him, enjoying the playful interaction.
"Come on, sweetheart, don't be so difficult," Ratio said.
"Let Vasha feed you."
Aventurine nodded in agreement, his eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief.
"That's right. Let us pamper you a bit," he added, bringing the fork closer to your lips again.
You moved something inconsulate, as you pulled your face away from the fork.
"No, I can do it alone," you said again, with some tension in your voice.
You were trying to control yourself so that frustration and irritation wouldn't consume you.
Ratio tightened his grip around your waist, keeping you firmly seated on his lap.
He leaned in closer, his voice now a soft murmur in your ear.
"Sweetheart, relax," he said, his breath against your ear sending a shiver down your spine.
"Just let us take care of you."
Meanwhile, Aventurine continued to attempt to feed you, enjoying the little game he had initiated.
He brought the fork gently to your lips once again, his eyes fixed on your stubborn expression.
"C'mon, just one little bite," he coaxed.
Your irritation grows more and more, your patience slowly reaching its limit.
Ratio's firm grip on your waist and Aventurine's persistence to feed you were driving you to the edge.
You gritted your teeth, trying to control the feeling of frustration that was coursing through you.
"I don't need to be pampered," you snapped, your voice strained.
You tried once again to push Aventurine's hand with the fork away, but Ratio's hold kept you firmly on his lap.
Ratio's grip remained steadfast, his arms firm around your waist.
Aventurine let out a soft chuckle, enjoying the challenge of trying to feed you.
"Oh, but we want to pamper you," Ratio said, his voice low and persuasive.
"Just one small bite, sweetheart," Aventurine echoed, attempting to force the fork into your mouth.
You were trapped between the two of them, their insistence to pamper you clashing with your growing frustration.
You couldn't hold back anymore.
The feeling of being controlled and restricted was overwhelming.
You snapped, your frustration finally exploding.
"No!" You exclaimed, pushing Aventurine's hand away forcefully, causing the fork to fall to the floor.
"I don't want to be pampered! I just want to be left alone and do things myself!"
Ratio and Aventurine froze, their playful expressions changing to surprise at your outburst.
Ratio's arms loosened around your waist as he was startled by your outburst.
He exchanged a glance with Aventurine, both of them taken aback by the force behind your words.
"Sweetheart, we..." Ratio began to say, his voice soft, but you interrupted him before he could continue.
You pushed away from Ratio's lap, standing up abruptly.
"I don't need your pampering. I can manage myself just fine," you said, your voice still tinged with anger.
Aventurine stood still, watching you get up, his eyebrows frowning a little in an hurt way.
Ratio wasn't going to keep quiet, first you push Aven's hand hard and now you behave like that?
"What the hell is wrong with you?" He asked as he got up from his chair.
You spun quickly, meeting Ratio's gaze, your frustration and irritation still visible.
"What is wrong with me? What's wrong with you two?" you retorted, your voice rising.
Ratio stepped closer to you, his eyes narrowing.
"We just want to take care of you," he said, his voice laced with frustration. "Can't we even do that?"
"Oh," you let go, almost lowering your tone, sarcastically. "of course, of course, now you both want to take care of me,"
"How funny, really," you added, letting out a slight laugh without grace.
Ratio was getting exasperated by your attitude, his patience wearing thin.
"What the hell does that mean?" He demanded, his voice raising in volume. "We've always taken care of you, so why are you acting like this now?"
Aventurine, who previously was watching the argument, finally spoke up.
"He's right, sweetheart," he intervened, "we're just trying to be nice, why are you getting mad?" his voice soft but still carrying a hint of offense.
"Oh, aeons," you let go, smiling a little as you ran your hand across your face.
At this point you didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
"Although you two had great jobs, apparently never learned the meaning of a few words," you snapped.
You meant the word 'always', by Ratio's words, since according to him, they always took care of you.
Ratio's irritation only grew in response to your sarcasm.
"Oh, please, enlighten us then," he said, his voice thick with sarcasm. "What words do we need to learn?"
Aventurine, now with more upset in his facial expressions, frowned.
"Yeah, I'd like to know too," he echoed Ratio's sentiment, "since apparently we've been doing a terrible job of taking care of you."
You let out a frustrated sign, your emotions boiling over.
"Do you really want to know what words?" You asked, your voice rising.
"Alright. Let's start with always. Apparently, you define 'always' as 'sometimes'," you exclaimed, your voice filled with bitterness.
"Ha! Or even like 'almost never'."
They exchange surprised glances, taken aback by your response.
Ratio crossed his arms, his irritation still palpable.
"What? We take care of you all the time," he retorted, his voice defensive.
Aventurine nodded in agreement, adding to Ratio's defense.
"Yeah, we do everything for you. We look after you, we're kind to you, and make sure you're comfortable. How is that not 'always'?"
You let go of another laugh, as a mockery.
"Oh guys, you are for each other" you said.
"Seriously, you two are completely oblivious."
Before they could answer, you kept talking.
"Oh, but let's see," you said, as you put a hand on your lips, as if you were thinking.
"Because you two are so kind and considerate to me, surely thought it would be a good idea to fuck next to me, while I was 'sleeping,'" you said as you made quotation marks with your fingers.
"Oh right," you said before clearing your throat, ready to mimic their voices.
"'Are you sure they're asleep?','Yeah, just be quiet'."
They both froze, their eyes widened in surprise at your revelation.
Ratio's expression turned from annoyance to a mix of surprise and sheepishness.
"Oh come on, it's not like we were intentionally—"
Aventurine interrupted Ratio, trying to defend themselves.
"You... you weren't asleep?," he said, his voice hesitant.
You raised an eyebrow at their words, not letting their words diminish your anger.
"Surprise, surprise! No, I wasn't sleeping," you retorted, "It's hard to sleep when the bed is shaking violently and there's moans all night long."
Aventurine's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, realizing the implications of your words.
Ratio's annoyance returned, trying to defend their actions.
"Well, we didn't realize you were awake," he said, "We just thought you were a heavy sleeper or something."
"Bullshit," you released.
"Oh, Aven, how is your back?" You asked, pretending to be concerned.
Aventurine's embarrassment only deepened.
"Uh, it's... fine," he muttered, his voice quieter than usual.
Ratio, however, was not about to back down.
"What's the big deal anyway?" he said, his irritation seeping into his voice. "We're in a relationship, it's normal for us to be intimate."
You let out an exasperated sign, your frustration growing even more.
"The 'big deal' is that it's disrespectful and inconsiderate," you said, your voice growing louder.
"You two made all that noise and didn't even bother to check if I was asleep or not."
Ratio rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed.
"Oh, come on now," he said, "you're blowing this out of proportion. We just forgot to check. It's not a big deal."
"Yes, it's a big deal, because I'm also your partner!" you snapped, with a heavy annoyance in your tone.
Ratio seemed unfazed by your assertion.
"Yes," he responded, his tone not matching your annoyance. "You are our partner, but we have our own relationship too."
This only fueled your irritation even more.
"So what? You think I'm just an accessory to your relationship?" you snapped.
Aventurine, sensing the tension, tried to intervene.
"Sweetheart, that's not what he means," he tried to mediate.
"Shut up," you let go, as it was starting to irritate you to want to appease the situation, as if it wasn't anything important.
Aventurine's attempt to intervene was abruptly shut down by your sharp words.
Ratio, feeling provoked by your reaction, shot back.
"Hey, don't talk to him like that," he snapped, his irritation reaching its peak.
You, on the other hand, were not backing down.
"Why not? I'm tired of you two treating me as if my feelings don't matter," you said, your voice rising once again.
Ratio's defensive attitude was not waning.
"Your feelings do matter," he retorted, "but you're overreacting. It's just a small example."
You were becoming more and more frustated by Ratio's dismissal of your feelings.
"Example?" you asked.
"You want more examples?, of course," you let go, getting a little closer to both.
"Maybe that 'decoration' and 'partner' stuff isn't the best term for me."
Ratio's annoyance turned into confusion, as he exchanged a glance with Aventurine.
"You know what should be the term that describes me?" You asked rhetorically before answering yourself.
"Assistant who is more of a servant,"
Ratio and Aventurine fell silent, shocked by your words.
Ratio seemed taken aback, his expression turning dark.
"Assistant? Servant? What are you saying?" He asked, his voice low.
Aventurine, on the other hand, seemed saddened by your words.
"Is that really how you see yourself?" He asked, his voice soft.
"And you still ask, Kakavasha?" You snapped, as you looked at him, after asking that stupid question.
"Now all I hear are petitions, petitions and more petitions." You kept talking, not waiting for them to respond. "Even some become orders,"
Ratio was becoming angry at your comparison.
"That's not true," he argued, "we don't treat you like a servant."
Aventurine was already getting tense again, bothered by the tone you were talking about and how to say things that, to him, made no sense.
"We just ask for your help with small things sometimes," he said, his voice steady.
But you continued to express your frustration.
"It's not just 'small things,'" you said, "It feels like that's all I'm there for, to do whatever you ask, whenever you want."
You saw that Ratio was going to speak again, you supposed to dismiss your words, so you didn't let him answer, speaking first.
"Put this in the washing machine, did you change the bath towels?, Pass me this, pass me that, You have the agenda tomorrow and in the past?, Wash the clothes, Clean the house, Wash the dishes, Order our belongings, Make me a coffee, Is breakfast ready?" You said suddenly, several examples of what they were asking for. "And the list goes on,"
Seeing their faces, you mocked, "A little more and I'm ordered to make an appointment for you two."
Aventurine was starting to get defensive, but he was still trying to control himself.
"We just ask for your help because we need it," he said, his voice rising. "We're busy with other things."
You, on the other hand, weren't accepting their excuses.
"You two are always too busy," you said, your own voice rising. "What about me? I'm busy too, I have things to do, you know?"
Ratio, who had been quiet for a few moments, suddenly interjected.
"Are you really that busy?" He asked sarcastically. "You're just at home, doing nothing all day."
That stung hard.
You felt a stab of resentment at his words, as if he had dismissed all the hard work you did day in and day out to keep their life together.
"Doing nothing all day?" You echoed, your voice filled with a mixture of hurt and anger. "You really think that?"
Ratio held his gaze, his eyes cold as he spoke.
"Well, what else do you do?" I've inquired.
"Ha, right," You let out a bitter laugh, "I don't do anything and you're both so busy, so I have to be always on call to wait on you."
Ratio's expression hardened, not appreciating your sarcasm.
"We're not asking you to be on call," he said, his voice growing louder. "We just expect you to help out around the house and with other matters. It's a partnership."
"You live here too, so you should pull your weight," Aventurine added, echoing Ratio's words.
You felt your frustration boiling over.
"Pull my weight?" You repeated, your voice rising. "I already do-"
"How much you complain about, if that's what you signed the contracts for, that's what you're our assistant for." Ratio interrupted you, coldly in his tone.
Your irritation shot up even outside, fueled by Ratio's words.
"And there it is," you snapped, "the real reason you two want me here, right? I'm just your little helper, your assistant, here to do the dirty work while you two play."
This time, Ratio didn't deny anything. "Yes, because that's who you are."
You felt a pang of pain at his confirmation. It was as if he had just confirmed all your fears, that you were nothing more than a convenient presence in their lives.
Aventurine chimed in, his voice trying to defend Ratio.
"It's not just about that," he said, hesitantly. "We value your company, and we enjoy spending time with you-"
You cut him off.
"As long as I'm useful, right?" You said, your voice tinged with bitterness.
The realization that your relationship with them had been reduced to a transactional, one-sided partnership hit you hard.
Your eyes stung with unshed tears, but you pushed on, refusing to back down.
"Is that really all I am to you?" You asked, your voice shaking slightly. "Just a convenience?"
Ratio's Demeanor remained cold, unfazed by your emotional display.
"You knew the terms when you signed the contracts," he stated matter-of-factly.
Aventurine, a little quieter up to that point, chimed in.
"We told you what the arrangement would be from the start," he said, his tone less harsh than Ratio's. "But that doesn't mean we don't have a relationship."
"Right, a 'relationship,'" you repeated, with a touch of sarcasm. "Is that what you call this? Because from where I'm standing, it feels more like you two just want a live-in maid."
Ratio's expression darkened even more, clearly not appreciating your tone.
"We're not forcing you to stay here, you know," he said. "If you're so unhappy, you can always leave."
His words were like another knife in your heart.
You weren't sure how to respond. The thought of leaving them had never crossed your mind. Despite everything, you loved them. But the way they had just treated you, like you were nothing more than a convenience, had hurt deeply.
You swallowed hard, trying to keep your voice steady.
"You'd like that, wouldn't you, Veritas?" You retorted, your voice quivering slightly.
But as much as you tried, you couldn't stop the tears you were trying not to shed from falling.
Ratio shrugged nonchalantly, as if to say that's what he really thought. Aventurine, on the other hand, remained silent, unable to defend you.
It was so unfair.
You looked at Ratio with displeasure, no matter that your vision is blurred by tears
You stopped looking at him, to look at Aventurine, waiting for him to say something, to take your side in this.
But seeing that he wasn't going to say anything, you were instantly agitated.
"I met you first," you said, almost in a plea.
He looked down to one side.
"Vasha...?" You asked, something fearful about his action.
"...I met him first." He said, in a low tone.
Your heart sank further. It was as if Ratio's words had just confirmed everything you had feared. It was clear that they valued each other more than they valued you.
Oh, you felt so stupid.
You started sobbing, with that, humbling yourself more in front of both of you.
You didn't want to do that, but after suppressing your feelings for a long time, it made it difficult for you to control yourself a little.
Both Ratio and Aventurine seemed uncomfortable at the sight of your crying. Ratio looked away, clearly not interested in dealing with your emotional outburst. Aventurine, on the other hand, looked conflicted, torn between comforting you or respecting Ratio's attitude.
He took a step closer to you, but Ratio stopped him with a gesture.
"Don't coddle them," Ratio commanded, his voice still firm. Aventurine hesitated, looking conflicted, but ultimately stayed put.
"You're being cruel." Aventurine mumbled, looking at Ratio with a certain disapproval for his way of acting.
Ratio shot a sharp glance at Aventurine.
"They're just being overly emotional," Ratio said, dismissing Aventurine's concern.
Meanwhile, their words and lack of compassion only deepened your sobbing. You felt completely alone in this.
Maybe you were from the start.
Even standing there in front of them you tried to cover your face, with your hands you tried to clumsily wipe your tears, to stop humiliating yourself.
Ratio's coldness contrasted sharply with Aventurine's visible concern.
"Oh, stop," Ratio said, rolling his eyes.
Aventurine protested again.
"They're obviously hurt," he said, his eyes flickering to you, "We can't just ignore that."
Ratio shrugged indifferently.
"They'll be fine," he said. "They're just being dramatic."
Aventurine looked at Ratio with a mix of disbelief and disappointment.
"You're unbelievable," he mumbled.
Meanwhile, Ratio looked almost annoyed.
"Now, come on, it's been late," he said, starting to walk into the bedroom, to change and get out.
Aventurine watched Ratio leave the space and then turned his gaze to you.
You kept wiping away your tears as best as you could, still trying to compose yourself, but the hurt and frustration were deep-seated.
When he approached you, you took a step back, feeling vulnerable and a bit defensive after the previous argument.
His voice was softer than Ratio's had been.
"Here, let me…" Aventurine said, gently reaching out to help you wipe your tears.
You didn't refuse, but it wasn't like you accepted or made the slightest attempt to stick to him.
Aventurine tried to be gentle as he dabbed away your tears.
But you were still feeling raw and hurt, and it was difficult for you to feel comforted. You kept looking down, avoiding his gaze.
You didn't feel special or anything, at that moment you could just continue sobbing and letting the tears soak your face.
Ratio, impatient and already on his way to the bedroom, called out to him. "Vasha, come on."
Aventurine shot a concerned glance at you before looking back at Ratio.
"What about them?" he asked, gesturing towards you.
Ratio didn't even look back.
"They'll be fine," Ratio repeated, as he opened the bedroom door. "They just need a moment to calm down."
Aventurine let out a sigh, torn between staying with you or complying with Ratio's demand. He seemed torn, as if he didn't want to leave you in that state, but also didn't want to ignore Ratio's call.
He looked at you again, his eyes reflecting his conflict. Finally, he spoke in a hushed tone, as if he didn't want Ratio to hear.
"We'll talk later, alright?" he said, trying to give a small reassurances.
Then, without waiting for your response, Aventurine reluctantly followed Ratio into the bedroom.
The door closed behind Aventurine, leaving you alone in the hallway.
The silence echoed in your ears, the only sound being your shallow breathing as you tried to contain your sobs.
You felt so alone and unimportant. It seemed as if your emotions didn't matter to Ratio, and even Aventurine's attempts at comfort seemed half-hearted.
The apartment was now quiet, and you were left with your thoughts. The realization of Ratio's harsh words, his casual dismissal of you, and Aventurine's inability to defend you or at least stand up for you, weighed heavily on your heart.
You remained standing in the hallway, the sobs still making your chest ache with each deep breath.
You managed to go and lock yourself in the spare room next to the master bedroom, seeking solace in that bed.
After locking the door, you climbed into the bed and curled up in a ball under the covers.
The tears continued to fall, your body trembling from the force of your sobs. The room was dark, and the silence around you seemed to amplify your pain.
The conversation with them played over and over again in your mind, their words like poison in your heart.
They just see you as their little helper, someone who serves their needs.
You clutched a pillow tightly, burying your face in it as you tried to muffle your sobs. The pain of their indifference was almost physical, like a weight pressing heavily on your chest.
It was as if the bed enveloped you in a cold, embraced the loneliness you felt in your core.
But just being there and allowing yourself to cry felt good, you didn't hold back.
You don't know how long you were there, sobbing and sobbing, but at some point, tiredness made you practically faint, falling sound asleep.
Even at night, when they had both already returned home, you were still in that room, sleeping.
As they entered the apartment, they noticed that the table was still with the dirty dishes and your breakfast plate that you did not even arrive to eat.
Ratio and Aventurine exchanged a knowing look as they noticed the untouched breakfast.
Ratio spoke first.
"They didn't eat anything all day, huh?" He said, a hint of indifference in his voice.
Aventurine nodded, a mix of guilt and shame on his face.
"I guess not," he mumbled.
Ratio let out a sigh, as he squeezed the bridge of his nose a little.
Ratio walked a little further through the apartment, his expression hard to read.
Aventurine followed him, his footsteps echoing behind Ratio's.
"Maybe we should have checked on them," Aventurine said, his voice tinged with guilt.
Ratio remained silent, while frowning somewhat hesitantly.
Aventurine spoke again, his voice was low.
"Do you think they're still upset?" he asked Ratio.
Ratio let out a sigh again.
"Of course they're upset," he replied, "We literally said hurtful things to their face, Vasha."
Aventurine looked even more guilty as Ratio stated the obvious.
"But I thought you said they were just overreacting?" He said, almost defensively.
Ratio looked to the side, somewhat annoyed by Aventurine's comment. "And I think they are," he said, "But that doesn't mean we didn't hurt them."
There was a moment of silence between the two, before Ratio spoke again. This time, his voice softer than before.
"We may have to find a way to apologize," he said, sighing again.
Aventurine nodded in agreement, seemingly glad that Ratio had considered some kind of reconciliation.
Ratio continued to look at the dirty dishes, the ones they had left there before going out and the breakfast that you had prepared but not touched. That made him feel a new pang, a pang of guilt, but he refused to dwell on that now.
Aventurine spoke again, breaking the silence.
"We should talk to them, right?"
Ratio considered for a moment before nodding.
"Yes, we can talk to them."
Aventurine seemed to take a silent sigh of relief, glad that Ratio agreed to the option.
"When?" he prompted.
Ratio looked at the bedroom door, clearly aware that you were in there.
"Now," Ratio answered, his voice firm.
Aventurine stared at Ratio, slightly surprised by the response.
"Now? But they might be asleep..." he muttered, hesitantly.
Ratio's expression didn't change, as he was resolute.
"It's still early," he replied, "And they are probably awake."
Ratio started walking towards the bedroom door, Aventurine following close behind.
As they approached the door Ratio paused, listening for a moment to see if he could hear any sounds from inside.
Meanwhile, Aventurine stood by, his heart racing a little.
In the finals, he ended up knocking on the door, not too loud.
There was no response after five minutes.
Aventurine shifted uncomfortably. "Maybe they really are asleep," he said hesitantly.
Ratio sighed, a slight trace of worry crossing his expression.
"Maybe...we should check on them," he suggested, his voice tinged with a subtle concern.
Aventurine nodded, agreeing with Ratio's suggestion.
"Yeah,"
Ratio took a breath, then reached for the doorknob and slowly turned it, opening the door a crack to peek inside.
Ratio slowly opened the door and looked inside.
The bedroom was dark, the only light coming from the lamp in the hallway. However, it was enough to see you lying on the bed, your face buried in the pillows.
A soft, regular sound betrayed the steady rhythm of your breathing.
Ratio pushed the door open a little further, his eyes still fixed on your sleeping form.
Aventurine peered over his shoulder, trying to catch a glimpse of you.
"Are they...?" Aventurine whispered, looking at Ratio.
Ratio answered, still observing you. "Yes, they are asleep."
Aventurine let out a sigh, relieved to know that you were indeed asleep.
"That's good, right...?" he said, half expecting Ratio to agree with him.
Ratio, still looking at you, however, didn't answer immediately.
He simply stood there, watching you sleep silently, a strange expression on his face.
Ratio's sudden silence confused Aventurine. He looked at Ratio's face, trying to understand his expression.
"Veritas?" Aventurine murmured, his voice a little higher than a whisper.
Ratio turned his head slightly, his eyes still fixed on you.
"Hm?" he responded, almost as if he had forgotten that Aventurine was there.
Aventurine looked at Ratio and then at you again, starting to realize that Ratio was strangely contemplative.
"Are you...ok?" Aventurine asked, a note of hesitation in his voice.
Ratio seemed to come out of his trance, snapping his eyes back to Aventurine.
"Yes, I'm fine," he said, though there was a slight hesitation in his words.
Ratio slowly closed the door, then turned to Aven.
Who grabbed his face, somewhat worried.
"Tomorrow we will talk to them and everything will be fine," he said, rubbing his cheeks gently.
"Yes, tomorrow," he repeated, more as if assuring himself than Aventurine.
He closed his eyes for a moment, letting Aventurine's hands remain on his face for a while.
It was somewhat comforting, but Ratio's mind was still occupied with the previous argument.
...
The morning sun slowly shone through the curtains, illuminating the bedroom.
Ratio and Aventurine, both already awake, were still lying in bed. However, neither of them had gotten up yet.
Ratio had his eyes fixed on a point on the ceiling while Aventurine sat against the headboard, looking thoughtful.
There was an unusual tension between them, the events of the previous day hanging heavily in the air.
Aventurine broke the silence first.
"Veritas," he said, looking at Ratio.
Ratio turned to look at him, wordlessly waiting for him to speak.
Aventurine continued, his voice low but firm. "We need to talk to them, like we said we would," he said.
Ratio sighed slightly, already knowing what was coming.
He knew they had agreed to speak to you, but the thought of it made him uncomfortable.
"I know," he murmured, turning his gaze back to the ceiling.
Aventurine noticed Ratio's uneasiness and looked at him with slight irritation.
"Why do you look so reluctant?" he asked, a note of annoyance in his voice.
Ratio didn't answer immediately, he looked away to one side, avoiding Aventurine's gaze.
Aventurine pressed him again.
"Veritas."
Ratio finally turned to him, his expression somewhat resigned.
"I feel like I went too far," he said.
Aventurine's expression softened a little, hearing Ratio's confession.
"I think we both went too far," he said, gently.
"Yeah," he confessed, his voice softer than usual. "What I said yesterday was...harsh."
"You feel...bad?"
Ratio nodded slightly, sighing afterwards.
"I feel ashamed," he admitted, still avoiding eye contact.
Aventurine moved a little closer to him, a hint of empathy in his eyes.
He reached out and placed a hand on Ratio's shoulder, a gesture of comfort.
"I feel the same," he said quietly. "I should have said something, tried to stop you..."
Ratio finally looked at him, the corner of his mouth tugging slightly in something resembling a weak smile.
"I wouldn't have listened to you anyway," he said, not trying to hide the truth.
Aventurine couldn't help but chuckle a little despite the serious atmosphere within the room.
"Probably not," he agreed.
There was a moment of silence, before Aventurine spoke again, changing the topic.
"Do you think they will forgive us...?"
Ratio closed his eyes for a moment, thinking about the question.
The events of the day before played again in his mind, each harsh word, and your tearful expression.
"I don't know," he responded truthfully, his voice low. "I hope so, but..."
He was going to say something else, but he shake his head, pushing away negative thoughts.
"No, they're going to forgive us." He said, in a way of convincing himself.
"They will," Aventurine said, in an attempt to give some comfort, although his face said that he had doubts.
Ratio nodded slightly, yet the look in his eyes betrayed the uncertainty he still felt.
Then, another silence fell across the room, only the sound of a clock ticking could be heard.
After a long moment, Aventurine spoke again, breaking the quiet.
"We should get up...and go talk to them," he said, glancing at the bedroom door.
"Yes, we should..." Ratio agreed, though neither of them made any effort to actually get up from the bed.
They both lay there for a few more moments, as if they had both suddenly lost the courage to do what they had promised.
Aventurine was the first to stir, sitting up.
"Come on," he said, reaching out a hand towards Ratio, silently prompting him to get up as well.
Ratio looked at Aventurine's outstretched hand for a moment before finally grasping it and pulling himself up.
He swung his legs off the bed and got to his feet, feeling somewhat reluctant but knowing that the conversation was unavoidable.
No one said anything as they left the room to go to the dining room.
As they entered the dining room, their eyes immediately fell on the breakfast table.
Or, more precisely, on its lack of dirty dishes.
The plate they had left after breakfast was gone. The table was completely clean and polished as usual.
Their eyes fixed on the spotless surface for a moment, then they heard noise in the kitchen.
They both turned in the direction of the kitchen at the noise.
As they stepped into the kitchen, they were met by the sight of you standing by the counter.
Currently, you were busy placing clean dishes in a cabinet.
You even had food put in a pan, which was being frightened, while you arranged some clean dishes and glasses that you had just finished washing and drying.
They stood at the entrance for a moment, both a little unsure of what to say or how to behave.
You seemed to be too focused on your tasks to notice their presence at first.
Aventurine and Ratio exchanged a quick glance, both aware that this was the moment they had to talk to you.
Then, Ratio took a step forward and cleared his throat slightly to get your attention.
Your head snapped over to look at him, surprise and a slight hint of cold indifference appearing on your face as you made eye contact with Ratio.
Seeing your expression made Ratio hesitate for a moment, his throat feeling dry. He swallowed, trying to find the right words to say.
Aventurine, standing next to him, shot him a look that clearly said, say something.
There was a palpable tension in the air, the events of the day before still hanging heavy between you all.
You broke the silence first, your voice quiet but steady.
"Good morning."
Seeing that no one was speaking, you were not going to be rude, especially to your bosses.
Ratio took a moment to respond, feeling a bit taken aback by your flat greeting.
"Good morning," he returned, his voice somewhat awkward.
Ratio opened his mouth slightly, to try to say something again, but words got stuck in his throat.
He wanted to apologize right away, but he couldn't find the right words.
Aventurine noticed his struggle and decided to act first.
He stepped forward until he was standing next to Ratio, then sighed slightly before speaking.
"Can we...talk to you?" he said, his voice softer than usual.
You finished placing the last glass in the cabinet and closed the door before turning to face them fully.
"We're already talking," you said, something obvious.
Ratio pursed his lips at your response, a bit irritated by your coldness. But he knew it was their own fault, he tried to stay calm.
"But yeah, we can talk when I'm done preparing breakfast." You spoke before they said anything.
"Also, I also have to talk to both about some things," you added, calmly, as you turned back to the stove, to make sure that the food does not burn.
They watched you turn your back to them to tend to the food, a lump forming in each of their throats.
They both hadn't expected such a sharp and indifferent response from you, but they knew they deserved it.
Ratio looked at Aventurine, who seemed just as uncomfortable and regretful.
Neither of them spoke, waiting for you to continue.
The only sounds in the room were the quiet sounds of the food cooking and the sizzling.
After a few moments, you spoke again, still with your back to them.
"You can sit down," you said, gesturing slightly towards the table behind them.
Ratio and Aventurine exchanged a look, then both sat down at the table, silently.
They waited, the silence seemed to stretch on indefinitely.
"Love, you want me to, huh, help you?" Aventurine tried to break the uncomfortable silence.
You shook your head without turning around, silently rejecting Aventurine's offer.
"No, thank you. I'm handling it."
They remained silent again, watching you work.
Ratio leaned back in his seat, his hands clasped together under his chin, as he watched you in silence.
Aventurine, for his part, was tapping his fingers nervously on the tabletop, his gaze flitting back and forth between you and Ratio.
The atmosphere was uncomfortable, with none of them knowing how to begin the conversation.
You continued your tasks in the kitchen, acting as if they weren't there.
Finally, you turned off the stove and turned around to face them again.
You had plates in your hands, which you put in front of them. The smell of the food was good.
"Here's the food," you said, still in a cold tone.
Then you turned around again, bringing your own plate, as you sat in front of them.
Ratio and Aventurine looked at the food on their plates.
It all looked very good, just like you always prepared.
But, they didn't feel like eating, the knot in their stomachs preventing them from doing so.
You started to eat, silently. Ratio and Aventurine didn't move.
Another silence fell, heavy and uncomfortable.
Aventurine glanced at Ratio, silently communicating to say something, before it got even more tense.
Ratio took a moment to look back at Aventurine.
He knew Aventurine was right. They had to start the conversation.
He turned his gaze to you, who continued to eat, without looking up.
He opened his mouth to say something, but still, the words didn't flow.
Finally, after taking a deep breath, he managed to start speaking.
"We… we want to apologize," Ratio began, his voice strained, "for what we said yesterday."
You didn't respond to Ratio's apology right away, continuing to eat.
However, they could see that you had stopped for a moment, listening to him.
"We said some things that...we didn't mean," Ratio continued, his expression remorseful. "And we didn't act right, towards you," he added quietly, casting his eyes downward.
You finished chewing and swallowing what you had in your mouth before you spoke.
"Okay, now I want to hear you," you said, looking at Aventurine.
By the time you had listened to Ratio, so now it was time for you to hear him.
Aventurine swallowed hard, feeling like a child who had just been scolded.
He swallowed, feeling the knots in his stomach tighten even more.
"I also want to apologize," he said, his voice slightly unsteady. "I shouldn't have said what I said yesterday," he admitted, regretting the words he had spoken.
Then, he added, his face more distressed. "I also shouldn't have been silent, when Veritas-" He stopped short, realizing he almost referred to Ratio as such.
A small, almost bitter smile pulled at the corner of your mouth. But you said nothing about it.
Ratio, at that, felt a sudden pang in his chest.
But, he kept quiet, his lips pursed.
He had noticed, throughout the previous day and this morning, how you responded differently to each of them.
You seemed to forgive or react better to Aventurine, than to him. Which he couldn't blame you for, but it hurt more than he would like to admit.
You sat quietly for a few moments, letting them speak.
You knew they were trying. You could tell, they were at the very least, sincere in their apologies.
You took another bite, slowly chewed, and swallowed before speaking again.
"I accepted your apologies, both of you," you confirmed.
Ratio felt some relief at your words, even if your cold tone still hurt. But he still remained silent.
Aventurine, on the other hand, also felt that small load leave his shoulders and he smiled slightly, glad you forgave him.
He looked at Ratio, encouraging him to continue the conversation.
Ratio couldn't help but notice your cold tone, even after accepting their apologies, and it only made him feel worse.
He wanted to say something about it, but held back, knowing it wasn't the right time.
Instead, he continued, speaking again, his voice still somewhat strained.
"We really regret what we said," he said again, his eyes fixing on yours. "We want...we want us to go back to how we were before," he said, swallowing hard.
You took a pause to study both of them.
You could see that Ratio was uncomfortable and, although Aventurine was trying to look better, you could tell he was uncomfortable, too.
You couldn't deny that the relationship between you had deteriorated, and you wanted to change that, too.
"I don't think we can go back to how we were before..." you said, your eyes looking away to one side, as you continued to speak. "But we can...start again," you suggested, your head turning back towards them.
Ratio felt a pang of hope at your words.
Start again.
Maybe you had more hope for them than you wanted to show.
He relaxed his shoulders slightly, feeling some of the tension being released.
"You...you're giving us a second chance?" Aventurine asked, his tone a mixture of disbelief and optimism.
You nodded slightly at Aventurine's question.
A small smile tugged at the corner of your mouth. "Yes, I'm willing to give you both a second chance," you said, your tone less cold than before.
"Have you two finished speaking?" You asked, in a calm voice.
At that, Ratio shook his head a little, all of the above had been his imagination.
"Uhm, yes," Aventurine said, quietly, responding for him and Ratio.
You let out a small sigh and looked at both, your expression still cold.
"Like I said before, I accept your apologies, but they don't erase what you two said, or what happened."
They both knew that, but it still hurt to hear it.
"We understand," Ratio said quietly, still looking down, as he fiddled with his fingers nervously.
You took another bite, slowly chewed, and swallowed before speaking again.
"Good," you responded, your tone not so cold, but still guarded.
"So, don't take my forgiveness as a sign that everything is fine between us," you clarified.
They nodded slightly, understanding the warning in your words.
"We won't," Aven said, his voice hoarse again, the knot in his stomach twisting even more.
Silence fell again, a heavy one.
You continued to eat silently, while Ratio and Aventurine remained sitting, staring at their plates, their untouched food.
You looked up from your food again, noticing their plates.
"You both are going to eat that or just stare at it?" You asked, an edge of sharpness in your voice again.
They both stiffened at the sharpness in your voice.
Ratio opened his mouth to answer, "We aren't-" he started to speak, but a loud rumble interrupted him.
He stopped, a look of embarrassment crossing his face as he realized the source of the sound.
He hadn't even realized that, since he hadn't eaten breakfast, his stomach was protesting.
Aventurine stifled a laugh, looking at Ratio amused, and trying to cover his mouth with a hand.
Looking at them, it was kind of bitter to you.
The table was silent for a while, every now and then you looked at them, finally they were eating.
You let out a sigh, before placing your fork on the plate again.
"I wanted to make everything clear, because that's what the worker-boss relationship I have with you is all about." Your voice came out calm, without any hint of hate.
They both froze in their seats, looking at you as you spoke.
Ratio could not help the feeling of his stomach twisting upon hearing those words.
Aventurine was much more expressive, his face fell, disappointment clear in his eyes.
He felt his chest tighten and his breathing become slightly ragged, but he didn't say anything. He tried to keep his voice steady as he spoke, "So, you...you mean we're just...boss and employee...again?"
Your eyes moved back and forth between them as they spoke, noting their reactions.
You took a moment to think, you knew your words would hurt them, but it was necessary.
"Yes," you answered, your tone firm.
"For the moment, our relationship can't be as it was before. We need to redefine the limits between us."
They swallowed hard, both of them still looking at you with slightly dejected expressions.
On the one hand, you wanted them to feel bad. The things they said were not acceptable, and it stung that they had thought you would forgive them so easily.
But at the same time, you didn't like seeing them like that, and a small part of you was screaming to just say 'no, that's not it' and hug them tightly.
"I'm thinking about myself this time," you said, holding firm in your decisions.
Ratio and Aventurine sat silently, silently processing your words.
Ratio's shoulders slumped, a mixture of guilt and disappointment in his eyes.
He couldn't blame you for your decision, as it was a logical one.
Aventurine, on the other hand, was visibly upset by your statement, but he tried to keep his voice level and composed.
"What does that mean? What are the limits again?" he asked, his voice tinged with barely suppressed frustration.
You leaned back in your chair, folding your arms across your chest as you looked at them.
"The limits include a more professional relationship, no intimate nicknames or comments," you listed some examples, your tone matter-of-fact.
"No touching me without my permission, even something small," you added a bit firmer, your eyes slightly hardening.
Ratio bit his lip at your words, feeling a pang in his heart at the thought of not being able to hold or hug you anymore.
However, he understood, it was his own fault for everything that was now happening.
Aventurine was visibly more frustrated by the established limits, but he tried to control himself, although his words came out a bit sharper than he wanted.
"And, how long are we going to be like this?" He asked, trying to keep his voice calm.
You raised an eyebrow, totally unbelieving of his words.
"I don't think you two are getting it," you said calmly.
Ratio glanced at Aventurine, clearly not liking his tone.
Aventurine, however, chose to ignore Ratio's look and focused on you.
"What do you mean?" he asked, his voice filled with a mixture of frustration and resignation.
Ratio, on his part, chose to remain silent, watching silently for now.
You let out a small sigh, not surprised that your words hadn't gotten through to them.
"The duration of this situation is indefinite," you said, matter-of-factly. "Maybe permanent,"
Ratio's stomach dropped upon hearing your words.
Permanent?
That can't be true, right?
He glanced at you, his expression hopeful, silently praying that you would change your mind.
Aventurine, on the other hand, could not believe what he was hearing.
"You can't be serious," he said, his voice filled with disbelief. "This can't be permanent, I-" he started to protest, his body tense.
"It is, because I'm getting out of your relationship,"
Your tone was firm, not showing any signs of wavering.
Ratio could start to feel a slight panic rising in his chest, but he tried to keep himself calm.
"You can't do that," Aventurine protested, his frustration coming through in his voice. "You-" he tried to continue, but you interrupted him.
"No, you don't have a say in this," you said firmly, your eyes fixed on him.
Aventurine opened his mouth to speak again, but Ratio spoke first this time, his voice a little desperate.
"Please," Ratio pleaded, "There must be another way.", his voice cracking a little.
His heart was racing rapidly, his palms started to moisten with sweat.
Aventurine looked at Ratio, surprise and slight hurt at his desperation.
He was just as surprised to hear Ratio, someone who was usually rational and controlled, talk in such a panicky way.
You thought you were going to falter, to have your decision go to the trash if you ever saw it like that, but somehow, you stayed calm.
"Why are you complaining?" You started.
"Isn't this what you wanted, Veritas?" You asked.
"”cause after all, you met him first, right, Kakavasha?" You asked again now looking at Aven, keeping calm.
"Why are you two complaining then?"
Ratio's breath caught in his throat upon hearing that.
It felt like a punch in the face, a painful reminder of the situation.
He bit his lip, a lump forming in his throat.
Aventurine, at that, froze in his seat, his heart dropping at your words.
He felt as if you had just stabbed him, deep.
He took a shaky breath and replied, his voice wavering, "That's not-" he began, but was unable to finish.
You finished eating your last pieces of food before getting up from the table.
"Finish eating, it's getting late," you said, as you went to the kitchen to leave your plate.
Ratio swallowed hard, trying not to let his emotions get the best of him.
Aventurine also struggled to keep his emotions under control, his shoulders tensing.
Neither of the two spoke again, they could only watch you disappear into the kitchen.
They couldn't believe it.
It had ended.
All of it.

Hey! I really like your writing. And I especially enjoyed your Hannibal and Will Graham fics and latest about stucky x reader. If I can request something with will x hannibal x reader? Gn or male whatever you feel more up to. I would love to hear your original ideas for pairing, but if you'd rather have a concept to start from. I thought about Will having a good friend before canon working in buro. Both having crush on each other, but Will wasn't quite ready to start relationship. Enter Hannibal and his attempts to get Will out of his shell. First thinking reader to be a hindrance for his plan to ensnare Will, but later discovering that they're mesmerizing on their own.
I hope it's not too much to ask. Thank you. I love both good poly and mlm headcanons. There's totally should be more of them and I am glad to see your delightful contribution. 💛✨
Oh, this idea just gave me a bunch of other ideas. Like what if instead of will and the reader having feelings for one another, it was a combined effort from the murder husbands (after the doctor consumed will's thoughts and affections) that finally made you get into a relationship with both. Perhaps will has feelings for you (one sided) as he struggles to find a clutch to normality when his mental state deteriorates, and Hannibal exploits this—making will take action but also try to squeeze himself into that picture. And you, while spending time with hannibal and will, are conditioned to return their affections (like we saw hannibal do to will through touches and understanding.) Ahhh, the possibilities are endless.
You, Me and Him
pairing: murder husbands x male reader tags: you don't like will or hannibal (romantically), but the murder husbands have a way of convincing you otherwise, heavy manipulation, will falls first, hannibal falls second, you are blind, ignoring obvious red flags, but it's will and hannibal so...
Will Graham had never been the best at deciphering his own heart. That was the ironic truth of a man whose empathy allowed him to unravel the psyches of murderers. Yet when it came to you, the one person he viewed as a tether to normalcy, every feeling became painfully tangled. He needed you close—needed your steadiness, your uncomplicated presence—to keep his head above water when the horrors of his job threatened to devour him. But you were a friend, so clearly uninterested in him romantically (much less men in general, Will believed) that he kept his longing chained behind carefully guarded walls. For a long time, watching from the sidelines, enjoying your companionship in even the smallest measures, was enough.
When he stepped into Dr. Hannibal Lecter’s office for therapy, his conflicting emotions became one of many topics he reluctantly confided. At first, Will was hesitant to talk about you. He loathed the idea of Hannibal’s clinical eyes dissecting the one pure comfort in his life. But Hannibal had a way of drawing secrets out as though they were confessions whispered in the dark—gentle, unassuming, yet invasive all the same.
From their first sessions, Hannibal gleaned that Will’s focus on you had reached near-obsessive levels. Whenever your name came up, Will’s eyes lit with equal parts tenderness and desperation. The doctor took it all in. He listened, encouraged, dissected Will’s words with calm curiosity. Whenever Will voiced his fear that his longing for you could drive him off the edge, Hannibal consoled him: “It isn’t a crime to desire closeness, Will,” he would say, voice low and soothing. “If anything, a connection to someone good might ground you. Keep you from unraveling.”
And as Will flinched under the weight of his guilt—he wanted you, but he felt wrong for it—Hannibal delivered subtle reassurances: “Why deny yourself a chance at happiness? You are no monster for wishing to be near him.”
Over time, Hannibal made a space for himself in Will’s life. The patient-doctor relationship merged into a twisted friendship, with Hannibal stepping further and further into Will’s personal sphere. Will was slow to grasp the transformation, perceiving Hannibal’s presence as comforting at first. Someone who understood him deeply, without flinching from the darkness within.
As Hannibal’s influence grew, so did his interest in you. Your involvement with Will—your genuine, unjaded nature—captured Hannibal’s attention. It wasn’t long before he decided he wanted you, too, if only to keep Will’s new bond firmly intact. The idea of shaping your perception—of orchestrating a scenario where the three of you formed an exclusive, unbreakable circle—was alluring.
He carefully watched the interactions between you and Will, noting each time your eyes flickered with concern for Will’s mental state. Each time you offered him a patient smile or a comforting word. In Hannibal’s mind, you were both prime for gentle, consistent manipulation—Will, desperate for your acceptance, and you, yearning to maintain his well-being without suspecting the deeper motives beneath your kindness.
Hannibal began planting seeds during casual dinners. He’d invite you over, always ensuring Will was present, then guide the conversation: “I see such relief in Will when you’re around,” Hannibal would say, touching on your care for Will’s shaky mental state. You, flattered and a bit concerned, would look to Will—who merely wore a half-smile, eyes shadowed but hopeful. These moments didn’t feel unnatural—Hannibal excelled at making them seem perfectly ordinary. Yet each small gesture and pointed remark primed you for what would follow.
Meanwhile, Will was unraveling under Hannibal’s subtle coaxing. He spent nights twisting and turning in his sheets, dreaming of you standing in the sunlight of his dilapidated front porch, the only bright thing in his life. He hated the ache that throbbed in his chest whenever you weren’t near. Hated how, beneath that longing, lived an unsettling willingness to do almost anything to keep you from leaving him behind. Hannibal noticed. And time and time again, he whispered that it was only natural—only right—to keep close what one cherished. Why shouldn’t Will stake a claim on the happiness he deserved?
So it happened one evening after you helped Will through a particularly vicious nightmare. You’d come by late, responding to his shaky phone call. You found him hunched on the edge of his bed, cold sweat on his brow, terror in his eyes. You soothed him as best you could, offering words of comfort and an embrace that felt wholly innocent to you.
But to Will, it was everything.
As you tucked the blanket around him, whispering that it was going to be okay, he lifted his gaze, tears lining his eyes. You’d never seen him so raw, so open—an unspoken plea shining on his face. Before you could question the emotion behind his stare, Will leaned forward and pressed his lips to yours.
You froze. That moment stretched, your mind racing in startled confusion. You’d never considered that Will might want you in that way. You stayed tense, uncertain, before you gently pulled back. Will’s eyes flashed with immediate regret, anguish coloring his cheeks crimson. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, voice trembling. “I—I didn’t mean—” But he did mean it. You could see it plainly. He meant every second of it.
You managed a quiet, shaky reassurance, “It’s…it’s okay,” even though you felt the distant echo of something too big to process, a boundary abruptly torn open. Will’s need, so potent, made the air feel oppressive. Confused and reeling, you left with a promise to text him later—an effort to keep things calm, to not break him further.
Hannibal found out about Will’s impulsive kiss—Will couldn’t hide it, not with the guilt and mixed desperation etched on his face. Yet the doctor didn’t scold him. Instead, Hannibal allowed a knowing look to pass between them. He recognized this was precisely the kind of bold step that would push you closer to their collective snare.
In the following days, Hannibal carefully orchestrated his own moment. He sensed your unease—your confusion about what had happened with Will—so he extended an invitation for “conversation and clarity.” He offered his home as a safe space to untangle your worries. You accepted, too relieved to have a calm voice of reason to notice the mild triumphant glint in his eyes.
Inside Hannibal’s tastefully refined dining room, you found yourself revealing the tension you’d been carrying since that night. How you felt torn between concern for Will and your own ambivalence—perhaps even fear. Hannibal listened, nodding, never once shaming you for your uncertainty.
When your breathing became shallow and eyes misted with tears you didn’t know were there, Hannibal placed a hand over yours on the table. His voice dropped to that gentle register you’d come to associate with absolute safety. “You care for Will deeply,” he intoned, letting his fingers lightly trace your knuckles. “And that’s admirable. But do not discount the possibility that your affections run deeper than you realize.”
“But I—I’m not…” you began, stumbling over the words.
Hannibal smiled then—self-assured, not smug—before he rose from his seat to stand behind you. He reached out, guiding you to stand as well. You followed, both unsettled and lulled by his presence. With careful gentleness, he turned you to face him. “There is no shame,” he said softly, voice thick with something that made your heartbeat stumble, “in discovering new paths of desire.”
You opened your mouth to protest or respond or something. But Hannibal’s palm slid along your jaw, tipping your face up just enough for him to lean in and press a deliberate, lingering kiss to your lips—quieter, more controlled than Will’s had been, yet just as fierce in its own way. Your body tensed again, mind whirling with confusion. The combined weight of Will’s unexpected confession and Hannibal’s assured advance threatened to overwhelm you.
When he pulled back, Hannibal kept his hand on the curve of your jaw, scanning your expression as though memorizing every flicker of emotion. The world felt dizzyingly narrow, your pulse pounding in your ears. A hundred protests died on your tongue because beneath your shock, something about Hannibal’s closeness felt safe, even if you couldn’t explain why.
From that day forward, there was no denying it. Both Will and Hannibal wanted you in a way that went beyond mere friendship. Their dynamic, once centered on doctor-patient formality, now pulsed with an undercurrent of shared intention. They had found common ground—you.
Through hesitant text messages and quiet, orchestrated meetings, you found yourself toggling between Will’s fragile urgency and Hannibal’s guiding confidence. You noticed how Will’s eyes filled with a desperate hope whenever you walked into a room, or how he’d hover near you, afraid to overstep but unable to pull away. How Hannibal’s hand casually came to rest on your arm or shoulder, an anchoring gesture that left your thoughts in disarray. You were never alone long enough to piece together how deliberately they’d closed in around you.
Confusion gnawed at you; you’d never before felt anything resembling romantic desire for men, and yet their combined attention stirred something you weren’t prepared for. Part of you wanted to retreat, to breathe, to figure out who you were without their influences. But each time you tried to put distance between you and them—perhaps a few days’ break—something would happen: Will’s mental state would plummet, or Hannibal would send a carefully crafted message. You’d end up returning to them, guilt and concern driving you.
And bit by bit, their touches became as common as breathing. Their whispers of gratitude, the gentle smiles, the confessions of how precious you were to them—each act chipped away at your hesitation.
Will was the first to proclaim it in words. One night, as you helped him with an anxiety attack, he clutched your hand and said in a broken voice, “I need you. I—I don’t know what I’d do without you. Please stay.” He didn’t elaborate on what “stay” meant—stay the night, stay in his life forever—both, perhaps. The raw fear in his eyes and the ache in his voice made you feel responsible, compelled to soothe him.
Hannibal, in his quieter moments, would tell you over a shared dinner, “You are a calming harbor in a tumultuous sea,” even as his eyes glinted with an intensity that suggested something far beyond simple appreciation. “I wouldn’t see Will as he is now if it weren’t for you,” he’d add, implying a joint responsibility—one that seemed to unite you, Will, and himself.
It was a carefully orchestrated dance: you, feeling the weight of Will’s fragile psyche; Will, obsessed with maintaining your presence; and Hannibal, the puppet master pulling subtle strings, pushing you further into their shared darkness. By the time you realized the full extent of their devotion, you were already too entangled to easily escape. You found yourself flitting between a swirling confusion of your identity—were you truly opening up to their love, or were you merely shaped to believe it was inevitable?
In Hannibal’s grand design, forging a bond with Will was only half the story. With Will’s acceptance of his own darker impulses—fanned by Hannibal’s influence—the good doctor finally had a partner who could see the world more like he did, unrestrained by common morality. All that was missing from their perspective was you, an untainted counterpart they felt made them complete.
Your presence served as a reminder of normalcy that Will desperately needed, and as a new challenge that Hannibal found irresistible. When the two of them decided to claim you, it was less a spontaneous decision and more the product of Hannibal’s unwavering manipulations combined with Will’s deep-seated fixation.
They became your support system, your protectors, and, unwittingly to you, your manipulators. They smoothed over every apprehension with heartfelt declarations or a soft, well-timed touch. Each gesture was designed to break down any lingering resistance, any chance you might realize this path wasn’t your choice at all.
In the end, there was a weary sort of acceptance in your gaze. A flicker of longing for them—two men who craved you to the point of madness—and a quieter flicker of doubt that you couldn’t quite extinguish. If it ever threatened to surface, one of them would appear at your side, holding you close until that doubt dissolved under the intensity of their love and need. And that’s how you found yourself in a situation you would never have predicted: caught between Will Graham’s trembling devotion and Hannibal Lecter’s calculated passion. One man who feared losing you almost more than he feared himself, and another who viewed both you and Will as beautiful pieces in his private masterpiece.

zᶻ ( MAIN DRS ) ⨟ ♡
my main drs refer to the drs i'm most focused on scripting and the ones i'll mostly be posting about (this will be updated over time as i get hyperfixated on drs!!) — if you're curious about which dr i'm planning on shifting to first, that would be my 'rocky beach house' waiting room which you'll find listed below
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ marvel / mcu [ feat. idols ] ⠷
i have multiple mcu/marvel related drs, but this is one of my main ones—and the only one that i will be sharing (as of right now.) i have taken out soooo much from the original source material 'cause i'm not looking to get traumatized lol! still figuring some things out, but will update as i have them all settled in my brain & notes app ^O^
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ zerobaseone [ gyubrik vers ] ⠷
yes i have a major crush on both ricky and gyuvin... err there really isn't much to say about this dr 'cause basically the only particularly interesting thing about it is that i date shimkongz but you know what that's enough for me and that's all that matters. (watch me go back and edit this specific part of this post multiple times 'cause it changes depending on which member(s) i'm hyperfixated on lmao)
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ crush! [ own bg ] ⠷
my staple group, my family, my home, my everything. i love these boys with all my heart!! this dr came from the idea of being a nugu group that ends up dominating the industry. i also wanted this dr to be mostly unscripted as i'm normal a scripting fanatic lolz - definitely one of my faves ever!
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ zerobaseone [ poly vers ] ⠷
no yujin is not included in the poly because he is my brother!!!! (scripted him into boynextdoor) anyway, one of my faves ever because i'm always debating which zb1 dr to focus on (i have 20+..) and i realize how much easier it is to pick if i'm just dating all of the members<33 i love my familybaseone
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ male soloist ⠷
three male drs in a row... i am Man. again i adore this dr because i have nothing else to say i just love it okay!!!!! in this dr i was a contestant on boys planet and ended up in 10th so ultimately not making the lineup.... but it's okay because through the show i get to meet my boyfie gunwook<33
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ zerobaseone [ gunwook vers. ] ⠷
nobody loves gunwook more than me!!! (i'm looking at you seok matthew) this dr is free from any angst at all despite me being a bit of an oblivious dummy but that's nothing.. also pre-debut i was a prodigy so my iq is like 189 'cause i'm just that cool and awesome except im an actual dumbass when it comes to love 'cause tell me why i don't know gunwook is crushing on me despite confessing to my face multiple times throughout idol planet??
zᶻ ( FAVE DRS ) ⨟ ♡
listed below are some of my favourite and most special drs, but they don't quite make the cut for being my main dr as i'm focusing on other things at the moment. they're still very dear to me and definitely in my list of priorities of places i want to shift to first, though!!!
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ boynextdoor ⠷
one of my favourite male drs >_< there isn't much to say about this dr other than i love it very much. the angst from my relationship with jaehyun reflects my cr a lot so sometimes it's a bit bittersweet talking about this dr, but i love it so much either way and i cannot wait to live out my life here
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ girlnextdoor [ own gg ] ⠷
boynextdoor's sister group except not sister cause most of the members are dating each other... one of my many own girl group drs however it is by far my favourite not only because of our adorable concept, but also the overall vibes of the dr are superb compared to any other ^O^
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ solis [ loona brother grp ] ⠷
i got inspired by a shiftoker who introduced his loona brother group dr! i've always adored the girls (and i do have a few loona drs!!!) but a brother group is just what i needed :] i scripted the members to be the zb1 members + myself (duh), and dessa (bestie!!!!!!) & someone else that i haven't figured out 'cause i had to script out the other person i originally had 'cause we aren't friends anymore!!!!!! the lore goes CRAZY by the way...
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ enhypen [ multiple vers. ] ⠷
if you know me, you know i love enhypen!!! i currently have five different enha drs which includes my main eighth member dr, my 7th member dr where i scripted out jay cause i date someone else (that man can't exist if he's not dating me!!!), another 7th member dr but i'm a Man, my femhypen aka genderbent enhypen dr, as well as my 12th member dr where it's actually a co-ed group
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ aespa [ multiple vers. ] ⠷
aespa is one of my ult ggs that i love so much :] i have a fifth member dr where i date karina and a fourth member dr where i replace karina lol yes i'm crazy psycho and can't see my s/os date other people so i script them out altogether!!!
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ zerobaseone [ multiple vers. ] ⠷
as i've mentioned before i have MANY zb1 drs im talking 20+ and i can't even give you an exact number because i add and remove zb1 drs basically on the daily these days... the ones that are staying for sure (which are separated by who i'm dating—and not including the two that are my main drs) are: jiwoong dr, hao dr, hanbin dr, matthew dr, taerae dr, ricky dr, gyuvin dr, gunwook dr, ot8 (w/o yujin) poly dr, mattparkz dr, shimkongz dr, myung jaehyun dr, woonhak dr, and karina dr
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ stray kids [ multiple vers. ] ⠷
stray kids was my ult group for the longest time and although i don't stan them as hard as i used to, they'll always be some of my favourite people which is why i adore my two skz drs with all my heart! my main (and first ever non-own grp kpop dr) skz dr is my minho dr and my most recent one is my minsung dr :] no i don't ship them irl but yes i date both of them!!!! we exist!!! also btw i'm a guy in both of these drs ^O^
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ atlantis [ own bg ] ⠷
this was my first male dr that i made back when i thought i was cis... dark times! however its one of my faves and has a very detailed survival show (that definitely needs to be updated) that i will for sure talk about at some point in time lol i love my members in this dr so much
୨ৎ ˚ ﹒⠀ eclipse [ own gg ] ⠷
this was my first ever k-pop dr which i made before even knowing k-pop drs were actually very common in the shifting community (i learned shifting on instagram and i wasn't really a part of the community until i joined tiktok about six months after learning about it) anyway i love my eclipse girlies and one of the main reasons i made this dr was to have a co-ed kingdom/queendom show where the winners would be named the kings and queens of kpop (obviously eclipse wins!!)
zᶻ ( OTHER DRS ) ⨟ ♡
below are all my other drs!! note that i have so many drs and many of them have multiple versions (for example i have "canon" drs and some that feature idols instead of the original characters; other drs i just have multiple to experience different lives or have different s/os lol) so this technically isn't every single one of my drs, but every single universe that i will shift to. they say to dream big and i do!!!!

I’ve been wondering does Zosan x reader kids ever ask them if Chopper is their big brother? And if they say he’s not quite that he’s a value member of the crew, so the kids ask why they don’t adopt him since he seems to be closer to them, especially to Zoro and because Chopper either runs to him, Sanji, or reader when something happens?
I mean look at this baby!! Who wouldn’t want to adopt him right away?! 🥹🥰
Oh Chopper my sweet baby boy. I'm so happy to do this, I took some creative liberties with it though so i hope you don't mind.
Reader is Female (Sorry), Zoro X Sanji X Reader, Poly relationship, established relationship. Their daughter is Kuina a 5 year old blonde haired girl with Sanji's eyebrows but reader's eye's and skin tone.
Warning: bad language, Hurt/comfort and Fluff.

Luckily for the blonde haired girl she managed to avoid all three of her parents on the way into the medical office, she scrapped her knee while running around with Luffy and Usopp, she didn't tell the two about it, just that she was tired. Kuina knows they'll tell her parents who will react like they always do, her blonde daddy will freak out and fuss over her, her moss headed dad will glare mainly at uncle nose for letting it happen while her mother will try and control the situation all while trying to comfort her daughter. It doesn't matter if its a broken bone or a simple cut, she finds they overreact too much, Chopper on the other hand doesn't, he just deals with the problem. After cleaning out the cut and putting a band aid on it Kuina was good to go, with a large smile she jumps off the chair and hugs the doctor "Thanks Brother, i'm gonna go play now, do you want to join?" She asks pulling away to see the reindeer's wide eye'd expression, its true she see's him as a bother, but she's never called him that before, her smile drops at his face going from shocked to sad. "Kuina, I'm not your brother" Chopper states not knowing how to deal with the situation, Kuina looks at him confused before grabbing his hand and stepping closer "Not by blood but i think of you as my brother, Mum, Dad and Daddy also treat you like your theirs too so... can't we be siblings?" She asks with hope in her voice but Chopper sighs and leads her over to the chair getting her to sit down, so he can explain things to her. "They only treat me that way because other than you, i'm the youngest of the crew, In their eyes i'm a child but not their child"
Kuina sinks into her chair feeling slightly deflated by his words but shakes her head "That's not true, they treat you like they treat me." She tries to make him see it her way but Chopper hops up onto the chair in front of her holding her hands tight "Do you have parents? is that why we can't be siblings?" She asks trying to understand, the doctor looks up surprised at her words but decides to tell her hoping she will understand "I do but… you see before i ate the devil fruit i was just a normal deer but after, my parents and my herd didn't recognize me, they sore me as a monster, they hurt me and cast me out. The towns people also sore me as a monster, if it weren't for Dr Hiriluk and Dr Kureha i would have been alone. When i joined the crew i didn't fully trust them but over time i have come to see them as family but" Chopper stops for a second letting out a sigh, Kuina leans in squeezing his hand as her eyes tear up, she can't image anyone treating Chopper that "Kuina, its ok if you see me as a brother but I'd rather you not call me that out in the open, i don't want you parents to be forced into looking after me like i'm their kid. I do love them a lot and go to them when ever i need something but your their child… I'm not, being treated like their child is very different from being their actual child" The doctor tried to be open and honest even though it hurts him to say all this, of course he see's her three parents as parental figures, but they have Kuina to take care of, she's their flesh and blood not him.
The young girl tears up at his words before leaping forwards to hug her fuzzy brother, she still didn't fully understand, but she knows not to push him into anything although there is one thing she has to ask "They could adopt you? then you would be their real child" Chopper sighs at her words holding her tighter while rubbing her back "That's up to them not up to me" His voice sounds so sad but it wasn't a no, Kuina was now determined to find a way around this and to make him happy, at the moment though she doesn't know what to tell him, a part of her wanted to tell him to shut up and ignore all that silly stuff while the other part of her remembers what her Mother and Luffy would say. "I don't like the way you think but I'll respect your destitution" She whispers to him soon feeling the reindeer hug back slight tears welling up in his eyes. Kuina knows what she has to do, in order to understand she needs to take a note from her auntie Robin, gather as much information as possible not only to learn more and understand the situation but also how to go about things. She wants Chopper to feel the love she gets from her parents and to have a family who won't kick him aside, of course the crew is family but being able to call someone mum or dad can maybe help heal old wounds or make the future brighter. Pulling away from the hug Kuina smiles brightly at her fluffy brother while patting him on the head "Thanks for helping me out Teddy, I'll see you later ok" The young girl smiles wide before running out of the medical room before he can stop her.
The first person Kuina runs too is her Mother since she didn't want to walk out of the medical room into the kitchen, she knows that her blonde farther will be all over her with questions and looking her over for any kind of cut or bruise. Running across the deck and to the bedroom's she smiles upon hearing her Mothers humming coming from the bedroom. Putting the cover back on the bed your startled by Kuina's sudden voice right behind you "Mum, can i ask you something?" Jumping you place a hand over your heart while turning to face the young girl "Kuina! You get snakier everyday... what do you need sweetie?" You bend down picking your little girl up and place her on the freshly made bed, your proud that your daughter can sneak up on you but it also concerns you a little. "Would you ever consider adopting Chopper?" Kuina asks letting her legs sway a little while sitting on the bed, your eyes widen at her question but you manage to compose yourself enough to try and think of a coherent answer. "I've never really thought about it before... Why are you asking sweetie?" You ask hoping to find out why she suddenly has this idea in her head, shifting a bit Kuina looks down at her fiddling hands as you kneel down to be eye level with her "You, Dad and Daddy always treat him like your child and i see him as a brother so i was wondering why not adopt him, so he can officially be a part of our family" Understanding now you can't help but smile and let out a small laugh catching your daughter off guard. "I'm sorry sweetie but i would have to adopt the whole crew one way or another since i see them as family too. I see Nami as my sister and Jinbe as my uncle." You try to explain.
Kuina sighs while pushing her self foreword to get a little closer, her eyes seem sad which makes your heart break so before she can speak you take her hand in yours while the other goes to her cheek "Just because he's not officially family doesn't mean you can't think of him as your brother. I do think of him as my child, i love him like i love you but adopting him is something very different, he's his own person, and he's never shown an interest in having a parental figure. Either way i will always be there for him and i will always be there of you." Your words make Kuina nod understanding your point of view on things but there was still something else she has to ask. "Mom, What if.. What if Chopper wants you to adopt him?" Kuina asks looking up from her hands and into her Mothers eyes which soften slightly but their also kinda sad, you hate seeing your daughter upset but you can't sugar coat things for her. "Well if that were the case then me and your farther's would have to talk about it, and then we would have to talk about it with Chopper to see if he really wants it." You give your honest answer which the young girl nods at before pulling you into a hug, with a smile you hug back while rubbing her back "Thanks Mum, i think i understand now... I love you" Kuina smiles pulling away from the hug so you can cup her face basking in her beautiful smile " i love you too sweetie, I've got to get back to cleaning before dinner, ok" You state standing back up and letting your daughter jump off the bed and run out the door leaving you to clean the rest of the room.
The second person Kuina goes too is her green haired dad who she knows will be training in the crows nest, making her way up the ladder she pushes open the hatch, the sound of clinking mental and huffs of her farther fill the room as the young girl slips through the hatch. Zoro holds a large weight over his head while doing lunges, his daughter knows well enough to stay away while he's working out so takes a few steps back before calling out to him "Dad" Her little voice hits his ears making the swordsman smirk turning his head to the side as he stands up straight "What's up baby girl?" He asks placing his large weight down before grabbing a towel to wipe his hand and face "I wanted to ask you something" She calls out staying where she is until her Farther says otherwise, just because the weight is down it doesn't mean the area is safe for her. Wrapping the towel around his shoulders Zoro walks over to his daughter with a raised eyebrow which tells her to go on "Would you ever consider adopting Chopper?" Kuina asks looking up at her suddenly frozen farther, Zoro had to process her words for a second since it caught him off guard, its only when his daughter touches his hand that the swordsman snaps out of it. Zoro sighs and sits down cross-legged on the floor before pulling his daughter onto his lap "What's going on?" The swordsman asks giving his daughter a stern look wanting her to tell him exactly what's going on in her head. Leaning into her dad the swordsman wraps his arms around her knowing what ever is troubling her is making the young girl sad. "I see Chopper as my Brother but when i called him that he.. He said not to call him that, not because it makes him uncomfortable but because he's not your child. Even though you treat him like your own Chopper doesn't see himself as a part of our family but i want him to be"
With a sigh Zoro rubs her back unsure how to answer this but his daughter came to him for a reason instead of you or Sanji, so he feels like he has to answer in some way. "Baby girl, It's ok if you see Chopper as a brother and its true we treat him like a child at times, i am a little protective over him-" Kuina pulls away to give her farther a deadpan look making the swordsman glare down at his daughter "More than a little" Zoro can't help but let out a small laugh at her words before ruffling her blonde hair "I love Chopper like i love you and want both of you to be safe, i will always treat him that way and consider him family but" Zoro pauses for a second trying to choose his next words wisely while his daughter weights patiently for him, it takes a while but soon he manages to find the words "Chopper is a part of our family no matter what, but adopting him is a tricky subject since its not only a big destitution for us and Chopper to make but as well... Chopper is his own person, its down to him what he wants, if he wanted to be adopted then me, your mum and your dad will have to talk about things before we do anything else." Zoro sighs hoping his answer was good enough while pulling the young girl into his chest for a tight hug, Kuina hugs back with a smile starting to see a pattern forming but there's still one more person to talk too. "Thanks Dad, I love you" Kuina pulls away to look up at her farther with a big smile before stepping off his lap, the swordsman gives her a small smile back before ruffling her hair making the young girl giggle "I love you too, Baby girl" He calls out as the blonde girl runs to the hatch to head back down onto the deck.
The last person to talk too was her blonde farther so Kuina heads to the kitchen, its almost dinner time, so he'll still be cooking but her hope is Uncle Luffy won't be in there bothering him. Luckily when she opens the door its just her dad in the kitchen, Sanji looks up from the pot he's steering to see his daughter make his way over to him "My sweet girl, what do i owe the please" The cook smiles wide walking over to his daughter who holds her arms out for a hug "I want to ask you something" She states as her dad happily picks his daughter up holding the young girl close as he makes his way back over to the stove starting to steer the pot again "Of course my angel" Sanji places a kiss on her head holding her with one arm as he turns the heat down on the cooker "Would you ever consider adopting Chopper?" She asks but isn't surprised to see a shocked look cover his face, the cook gulps his mind running with answers and questions of his own, but he soon manages to shake his head and put Kuina down "I- Urm... I've never thought about it before" Sanji pulls over a chopping board with a small knife starting to chop up stuff for a salad, Kuina tilts her head to the side worried by her farther's reaction, but she pushes over a stool to stand on. Stepping up she places her hand on her farther's arm getting him to look at her "I'm sorry if i made you upset" Sanji's eyes soften at her words, putting down the knife he turns to his daughter and cups her face while placing a light kiss on her forehead "You didn't upset me, you just caught me off guard. Can i ask what made you think of this?" The cook asks pulling away from his daughter who nods at him.
Kuina tries her best to explain while pulling over the cutting board and knife wanting her help her farther cook, Sanji lets her do the salad as he tents to the other pots and food in the oven "I called Chopper Brother today, i see him as my brother, but he got really upset when i called him that. He told me about his family and that he doesn't want to you, mum and dad to feel forced into looking after him like he's your child if i call him brother around you. I tried to explain that you, mum and dad treat him like he's your child already but... I just thought maybe adopting him would make him feel more like family" Nodding Sanji stands next to her while steering the pot understanding a bit more now, "I'm glad you see him as family but you shouldn't push him into anything. Your such a sweet heart but some times pushing someone to make them happy doesn't always work, in fact it can make them sadder" The cook turns to his daughter not wanting to hurt her but also wanting her to know the truth, pushing some hair out of her face Sanji tries his best to make her understand Choppers side of things "Being abandoned by family is hard, its takes a long time to recover and to find something that fills that hole, I'd like to think the crew has filled that hole. Your right in saying that i treat Chopper like my own and its because i love him like he's my child but no one should force him into feeling the same way. I know it upsets you sweetie, seeing him sad but you can't force him to be happy" Kuina looks up at her farther with teary eyes while putting down the knife, she wants Chopper to be happy but maybe she'll do more harm than good if she pushes it.
Either way she still needs to know if they would adopt him if the reindeer wanted them too "W-what if he wants to be adopted, to be a part of our family but is too shy to ask?" She asks while rubbing her eye to try and stop the tears from falling, Sanji's heart breaks at seeing his little girl about to cry so quickly picks her up pulling the young girl into a tight hug "We'll if he does want to be adopted them we would have to discuss it as a family first, make sure everyone is on the same page, if he's too shy to ask then there's noting we can do other than wait until he's ready to ask. There's also the matter of paperwork which we wouldn't be able to do since were pirates so it would be more of a verbal adoption than an official one" Sanji sighs rubbing Kuina's back as she clings onto him while burring her head on his neck, she didn't know what to say, the plan she had has gone out the window and now she just feels helpless at the fact her furry brother doesn't feel like a part of their family even though her and her parents love him and want him to be a part of it. Sanji tries to sooth the little girl as tears start falling down her cheeks, he hates breaking her heart, but he can't lie to her, the door to the kitchen opens making the cook growl slightly about to yell at Luffy or who ever is about to walk in only to see you and Zoro walk on with very confused faces. On the way to the kitchen you spotted Zoro coming down from the crows nest so you waited for him hoping to talk about Kuina and her strange question only for the swordsman to beat you too it. The two of you had a talk about it but it only made the two of you even more confused so decided to head to the kitchen wondering if she's also talked to Sanji.
Kuina sniffles before pulling her head away form her blonde farther's shoulder to see who opened the door, upon seeing her tear stained face you run over to see if she's ok "Oh sweetie what's the matter?" you ask as Zoro quickly walks over his aura was more murderess than it was concerned, all he needed to know was who. "It's ok, she's not you" Sanji calmly states mainly looking at the swordsman hoping to stop that heavy aura the moss head is letting out "I'm sorry, i just want Chopper to be happy" Kuina lets out while trying to wipe her tears away, sighing you now understand she's asked all her parents the same thing, Zoro calms down when hearing this so takes a stop forward and places a hand on his daughters head "You could have just asked us all together, why separately?" The swordsman asks as the little girls starts to calm down "I-i wanted to get your separate opinions so i could make a plan but... I don't know what to do now, I want Chopper to be happy and i know i can't force it but its clear you all love him like your own and treat him like your own, but he doesn't see that. When i mentioned adoption to him he didn't say no and i could see how upset he was when talking about how he's not your child but i that could be changed " She starts to tear up again making Sanji sigh and hold his daughter closer as you brush some hair out of her face prompting her to go on. "I know i can't force him into anything and that its his chose but his own fears and worries are stopping him from saying what he wants to say. I want him to feel the love that you give me, i want him to have a family that loves him and won't abandon him. We can be that family but no one is willing to make the first move to ask, Chopper won't ask because he's scared and you won't ask because its up to Chopper so we're at a stand still"
Your heart breaks for your daughter, all three of you may have given different answers but in the end you all agree that its up to Chopper what he wants. The short silence is soon filled by loud crying but its not coming form your daughter, Chopper runs out of the medical room and into the kitchen his eyes filled with tears as he runs to cling onto Sanji's leg since he can't get to Kuina in his arms. Kuina's eyes widen at seeing her fluffy brother crying while trying to say something but it sounds more like babbling, the cook sighs placing a hand on Choppers head trying to calm him as Zoro sighs bending down to pull the reindeer of Sanji's leg "Chopper Honey" You sigh bending down to try and see his face "I-i love you too" Chopper calls out making your heart melt, Zoro manages to get the doctor off Sanji's leg as the cook puts Kuina down letting the young girl hug Chopper who happily hugs back crying into her shoulder. Thinking for a second you grab Zoro and Sanji's arms then gesture over to the pantry with a nod, knowing the three of you need to talk you all make your away into the pantry to have a privet conversation while Kuina sooth's Chopper. "So i'm guessing she asked you two as well" Sanji sighs while looking over to his daughter, nodding Zoro crosses his arms over his chest "You think we fucked up?" the green haired man asks but you shake your head with a small smile "No, we all have our own opinions on it and i'm glad she still came to her own consultation of not wanting to give up." Your proud of the girl you've raised, she has Sanji's kind heart, Zoro's courage and your understanding, a perfect mix.
Sanji takes your hand pulling you into him while the other takes Zoro's hand doing the same "I know we can't do the paperwork but .. Do you want to adopt Chopper?" The cook asks with a small smile already knowing his own answer, looking from Sanji to Zoro you nod, with a smirk the swordsman wraps his arm around your waist while looking between his two partners "Well i already see him as my son so of course" Zoro grins looking you over before turning to the cook who nods leaning up and placing a kiss on the swordsman's lips "Well lets see what he thinks" Sanji's beautiful smile grows on his face as he leans over to place a kiss on your lips, happily kissing back Zoro bends down placing a kiss on your cheek, pulling away from the cook you look up at the green haired man and place a kiss on his lips which he leans into. With the three of you in agreement you all head out of the pantry and over to Kuina and Chopper, the young girl has manages to calm the reindeer down as she rubs his arms while he wipes his face. "Chopper" You smile getting the doctor to look up at you "We wanted to ask you something" Zoro smirks placing an arm around your shoulder as Sanji takes your hand "We love you a lot, and we already consider you a part of our family, but we were hoping that maybe we could make it official" The cook gulps getting kind of nervous.
Squeezing his hand you decide to continue for him "Chopper, Would you like us to adopt you?" You ask watching as the doctor's eyes widen in shock but a big smile forms on his face "Yes please" He calls out running up to the three of you with his arms wide open. The three of you bend down letting Chopper jump into your arms, happy tears fall down his fluffy face that Sanji brushes away, Zoro looks over at Kuina who's smiling wide but her eyes are filling with tears, opening his arm for her the young girl runs into her dads arms joining in the hug. "See i told you... Your a part of our family Brother" Kuina calls out putting one arm around Chopper to hug him "I love you all so much, thank you" The doctor cry's out suddenly turning to hug the young girl and cry into her shoulder again "Thank you Kuina.. I love you sister" Kuina can't help but let some happy tears fall as he hugs the reindeer back shoving her head into his shoulder, she's beyond happy that the person she thinks of as a brother is now actually her brother., he'll be happy and loved now, he'll be looked after like she is and have someone to go to that he can call mum, dad or sister. With a laugh Zoro pat their heads glad to see his little girl happy again and to have Chopper officially be his son. Sanji wipes a tear away form his eye trying not to cry as he watches his two kids hug each other, he always wanted a loving family, but he didn't think it would ever be this loving, either way he's so glad for it. Placing a hand on your heart you watch the two kids with a smile, your so lucky to have them in your life and to have them grow up under your watch.

I probably won't share many details about my DRs simply because I am not someone that shares a lot about my life and relationships, but here is an overview:
- I (currently) have 11 partners across the multiverse
- I am engaged in this reality, and while they aren't a shifter, they know about shifting and are okay with it, as are all my other partners (but I don't judge people that don't tell their s/os)
- I have two people I am in a poly relationship with that I call my soulmates, they are in most of my WRs and DRs. Truly my whole life
- My main WR I go to when I get stressed, or don't know where else to go, is an apartment in Japan that is a short walk away from this great sushi place
- I have a couple realities where I go to different schools, but I only shift there when I want to actually study and do homework so it's rare 💀 which means no Hogwarts DR for me for now
- I have had to stop shifting for people/breakup with them for various reasons, so if anyone is going through that know that it's normal just like any other breakup ❤️
Feel free to ask questions! I would love to talk more about everything. I will not share details I don't want to share, but don't worry about asking weird questions cause obviously no one can guess boundaries

Would a sleep deprived bug eater (Dr. Kel) be normal about (get into a poly relationship with) some space cats (Arirals)

Hi! I'm rather new to poly and have found your blog to be a source of reassurance. I was wondering if I could ask for some advice-- no worries if you can't respond!
My partner and I opened our relationship about half a year ago. I don't really like my meta as a person; there isn't anything particularly wrong with her, our personalities are just too different and her energy stresses me out a little. Think grumpy cat and hyper puppy.
We share a friend group and this friend group does a lot of events together so we often share the same space. For context, she's known some of them for longer than I have, but I have become more enmeshed into the group since I joined. Hinge and I also live together (with two of said friends). Because of that, I always let her spend time with hinge whenever we have a gathering because I get to see hinge more often than her. In fact I almost actively avoid hinge and hang out with other people to give them space. Afterwards, I sleep on the couch so she can sleep in the (hinge and my) bed with hinge.
I feel like I'm doing my best to give her/them space but I can tell she isn't happy. The group went out to a restaurant for my birthday and when I walked into the lobby where she was waiting with some of the others, she started crying at the sight of me and had to excuse herself. I'm not sure what I did wrong. I had just had a date with hinge and we walked in together so maybe I forgot to stop holding hands with hinge (?) Maybe she saw my phone screen which was a picture of me and hinge (?) (A normal picture of us hugging not anything too intimate)
I feel awkward now and like I have to watch myself to make sure I don't "slip up" again. I don't think I should need to hold myself to such strict standards but perhaps I'm wrong. It feels like walking on eggshells around her and if I show hinge any affection then she'll be upset. The other day hinge sent a picture of us to the group chat and I think she's unfriended me on socials since then.
What should I do in a situation like this? Can I even do anything? Was my mistake really that bad?
😬😬😬
I'm just going to put the read more here
TL;DR: yeah, you should do something. I don't think its all on you for not adhering to 0 affection in front of the girlfriend ever though.
This brings up a lot of personal struggles for me. I am going to present as best I can a good faith reading of all parties here, but know that my bias favors you, dear asker.
For clarity, the asker will be called you, the partner will be called Hinge, and the meta of the asker will be called gf/Girlfriend.
I think Girlfriend is not actually 100% okay with polyamory, and is doing her best to smother those feelings because she's so fond of Hinge.
In fairness to gf, I am making a lot of assumptions (limitations of tumblr asks and limited information), its still fairly new, and its a really complicated place to be in for her. You're all friends so god only knows what would happen to the dynamic of the friend group if she couldn't make this work. If she breaks up, that makes things really awkward, if she enforces a stricter thing about keeping your lives separate, that makes things really awkward. Basically every move she makes here risks ramifications for her whole (or at least a lot of) her social life, not just her relationship with Hinge (and you).
Based on what you've said, I would be surprised if gf's done the work to confront the reality of what polyamory will look like for y'all and make peace with it. Or renegotiate that reality until its something she can make peace with. I say this because in most healthy dynamics I have seen, it should be expected for a partner to give you attention on your birthday. Girlfriend not being able to handle whatever it was that set her off, to me is proof she wasn't preparing. Now once she was at that junction, gf did the right thing by excusing herself, but I can only imagine how much that killed the vibe. On your birthday 🎂🫤.
So to your questions: "What should I do in a situation like this? Can I even do anything?" I do have some things you could do, but not a lot. The first of which is to ask her wtf that was about (but very gently) assuming its recent enough to do that. I would come at this from a place of confused concern a la "I just wanted to check in with you after the dinner. You seemed really upset and I wasn't sure why. I really wanted you to have a nice time for my birthday".
And then the paths diverge. Maybe she says "it was fun, sorry, it was just hard seeing you laughing with Hinge" but maybe she says "My Aunt just died and I was trying to keep it together and I couldn't". I'm operating off assumptions because I have to. But you don't have to. Confirm that shit one way or another. Then, you have three options
You can ignore it (not recommended).
You can go for a heart-to-heart.
You can ask Hinge to work with gf on this.
For both 2 and 3, you're going to have to have an idea of what's acceptable to you and what isn't. How much (more) are you willing to compromise and realistically able to do? If you're making Hinge the go-between (which might be the good move if you and gf don't really get along!) you will have to lay it all out. Make a whole speech about why you're concerned, what a better for you set-up would look like, how you'd like Hinge to help facilitate that, and how long shit like this is something you're able to handle. Go into it as a problem solving endeavor seeking Hinge's input and support, with the understanding this is for gf's sake too. Talk about a how things would look in a few months. If you do ask Hinge to handle this, you two need to agree on what is reasonable, on what timeframe, and that Hinge will present it to gf as something they're concerned about too so as not to paint you as a snake in Hinge's and gf's garden
Because I only see a few things that can happen
Nothing changes. It goes on like this forever. Its always kinda weird, you probably start dreading inviting her to things for fear of a repeat of your birthday, but you all just kinda grin and bear it and its not ideal but its good enough.
You can separate more. Like, all three of you are never in the same room together. This will likely make things really weird with the friend group! Every group activity will require people to choose whether its you who gets the invite or gf. Friends also have to be on board with not talking about shit you did with Hinge. Hinge will probably have to kind of "live two separate lives." How does that work given that you live with Hinge? haha, good question! It will necessary limit how much time gf has with Hinge, how much time you have with Hinge, and how much free time outside of you two for the rest of his life Hinge has. All this is workable, but it will probably be difficult and kinda weird for a good while.
Girlfriend can pony up. She can go through the gut-wrenching process of desensitizing herself to seeing you two show affection and accept that you are always going to be there, too. I expect you and especially Hinge would do what you can to help her, and there will be benefits, too! but its still just going to be really hard on her for awhile. This can put Hinge in a pinch if your expectations and Girlfriend's aren't lining up, and since this is mostly on her, you don't have as much control.
Someone breaks up with someone. This doesn't need further explanation.
I will now show my ✨ biases✨. I don't know how long Hinge and Girlfriend have been together, but assuming its the full 6 months, and assuming the issue IS she's just not okay seeing you two like each other, ever... personally, that's "push comes to shove" time for me. Are you in or are you out? Is she actually okay with polyamory, or is she forcing herself into something that's making her miserable for love? Y'all's timeframe might look different, but if you don't address this soon, this sounds like shit that could force one of you to a point of ultimatums. Most people need good time to acclimate to polyamory! but if its six months and she is indeed crying about you two briefly holding hands... that's not acclimatization. And maybe you're Built Different💪, but I could not handle a those restrictions with those consequences long term. Personally, I'd sooner die than not be able to hold my partner's hand, so I think you're being very accommodating, and if gf can't handle human slip-ups, that's not on you.

Hey I noticed you said you were getting mean asks so I wanted to give you a nice one to counteract it! You have an amazing cute artstyle that lends so well to the horror aspect as it's so deceiving. The fluffiness of the designs is adorable and your Pinkie Pie is LITERALLY the cutest Pinkie I've ever seen (and I've been in the fandom since like 2011)!!! I love the queer rep too! Esp the polyamory. Rarely have I ever seen polyamorous mlp content in the past over a decade, so it's such a treat to see.
Something I've found so interesting with these horror MLP AUs is how much the bury your gays trope (sorta) happens. Normally it'd be a problem but in these AUs there's literally SO many other queer characters that it almost feels like queer folk are almost reclaiming the trope? It's fascinating to see!
Another thing I love with your AU is the focus on background ponies and OCs (but with the inclusions of that adorable Pinkie Pie). Usually in terms of bg ponies all you see in these AUs are Redheart, Cherilee, Derpy, Dr. Hooves, Lyra, and Bonbon imo. There's nothing wrong with any of them, but they're the main ones I've seen. So it's extremely refreshing to see characters other people haven't really used! It's unique!
At some point I might draw some fanart of your characters if I get the energy, I love them a lot even if I have trouble remembering names sometimes.
Oh and I like that you're responsive when fans have questions, so I hope you get other good messages too to fill your inbox with positivity!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH thats so niceys to me.......
i didnt get around to answering it for a bit because. i liked a little joy in my inbox (( and ive been a bit overwhelmed recently ))
i wanna say thank YOU for all the countless support youve given me for my funny little series, im happy to have you around!!!!!!! it makes me sooooo sad how often a lotta queer couples might just be used for drama ((appledashmylittleworms)) or constantlyyyy are getting murdered in front of eachother (( lyra and bonbon in like. every au )) it may be horrifying but love should prevail too!! it sucks to see a lotta stories just be one sided with everything, either they gotta have no ships because its scary or a bunch cuz its silly, you can do both!!!!!!!! i think bonds and relationships regardless of the types are really what make a story a story! and i know theres a lotta smack thrown at polyamory and it makes me so sad, i identified as poly for many years and although i dont anymore i think its CRAAAZY that people get so upset over it.... whats there to hate...... theres just more love for everyone.......
anyway- i just wanted to say thank you sooooo much for everything <3 and if you have any questions anytime id be happy to answer them, in inbox or comments or whichever works best for you!! im happy to engage and get people more immersed in my story! i know that i cant convey a everything perfectly (( thank my epic brain for that)) , i LOOOOVE answering questions. for real. i love quaestions. and although i may get nervous, please know i read everything and really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!1
#salad says!#sorry that was so long ;;;;;#OH and just to say - the inbox is open for the cpc as well you can ask to see stuff (( like ponies or locations ))#thank you again <3

Also hypothetically!
What if whilst Roxy was away, either in the wrong Fazbear location with Cassie, or somewhere else, she met someone, and upon her return and talking to some of the techs, discovered that she was poly? Like, she fell for someone else, without falling out of love with Chica at all? So now she's back home with Chica, feeling like someone important is missing? Just like she felt Chica was missing in all the time she was away as well?
What if that other someone were to sneak on a delivery truck like they did to come see her? Or would Roxy be tempted to do that herself, just to go back and see them one last time?
How would Chica feel about that too? Given how Roxy is, I can imagine it would feel almost impossible to tell Chica if they don't really have a word for, or an understanding of poly relationships, but if she did, would Chica still feel as secure in her relationship with Roxy as before? Would she be fully supportive, accepting straight away that Roxy just so happens to love two people romantically, or would it be more of a tentative thing, where she doesn't really get it but still accepts it, and as she gradually understands it, she gets more and more actively supportive?
I mean... if Roxy were to be able to pursue a relationship with this other animatronic too, I feel like it would probably take a lil getting used to having to 'share' her girlfriend with someone else, ya know? Maybe she - and probably the other animatronic too honestly - would fumble this a few times before they settled into a normal with it, as one usually does in a new relationship. Would she be cool with it all though?
Would she maybe start to worry she's not enough for Roxy? Or would she want to know every single detail about this other animatronic right that very second and immediately start wingmanning for her? Do you think she'd worry about whether they'd get along and how Roxy would feel if they didn't?
And if Roxy happens to have fallen for another Chica variant, would she make at least one joke about Roxy clearly having a very specific type? If it were a Bonnie variant or something, would she joke about types too given rabbits and chickens are both very much prey animals, or would that be someone else's joke lmao
Also, Daniella having to call another manager to be like "hey so. Your animatronic snuck onto a delivery van to see my animatronic again... do you uh. Maybe wanna set up a play date or something so this stops happening or...?" (<- Jokey version, your Daniella seems much more professional than that lmao) would be kinda funny ngl. Possibly even funnier if the phone call doesn't happen and Roxy and Chica start doing it too and this turns into a game of seeing how long it takes before either manager figures out they're doing this. Or the other manager has to keep calling Daniella like "IS MY ANIMATRONIC OVER THERE AGAIN?! GOD FUCKING DAMN IT-" cause they don't understand how this keeps happening or why lmao anyway
Tl;dr: How would Chica feel about Roxy being poly and in love with both her and another animatronic (of your choice)? And would they turn the delivery trucks into a sneaky bus service for this?
~@monty-glasses-roxy
I think Roxy would be pretty confused in this kind of situation, simply because of her lack of knowledge on the topic. She'd actually be distressed. She'd probably go to a staff member for help before bringing it up to any of the animatronics. Maybe June or Vanessa. Once she finally has an understanding of polyamory, she'd definitely go to Chica to discuss. Roxy would never pursue another relationship without Chica's consent.
I think, once educated and after a lot of deep conversations, Chica would be okay with it. And yes, Chica and the others would make jokes about Roxy's taste in women! Whoever that other animatronic might be, the Glamrocks will find something to tease her about.
As for sneaking on trucks... I don't think Roxy would risk it. If she's not careful, she could end up never seeing her family again. She has too much trauma around that... But maybe the other animatronic wouldn't worry. They probably have a little less to lose and a lot less trauma.
But yeah, Daniella would make arrangements with the other Plex to make sure Roxy and the other animatronic don't get put in necessary danger trying to visit. It'd also likely open the doors for traveling animatronics.

if you could ship urself with any adult pnat character who would it be. u have to choose at least one but you can date as many as you want in a polycule situation.
Oh this is a REALLY hard question, namely because I've never thought of it before. I'm very aroace, so I'm going to approach this as if I'm creating an adult-aged self insert who I'm planning to ship with someone.
With that in mind, I pick Penny OR Dr. Zarei, but not both at once (even though my hypothetical self insert would probably be poly). Penny has been getting into enough shenanigans, on-screen or otherwise, that I think it would be fun being a part of her 'plot', so to speak. Also, her personality is DELIGHTFUL. She'd be fun to talk to and chaotic to follow around and assist. A self-insert of mine would probably be willing to abandon zir personal moral code if it meant ze got to hang out with Penny.
I have to admit that I picked Zarei for similar reasons (fun gimmick/plot), haha. I think the whole scientist thing is really cool, as a reader I'm a huge fan of Zarei's willingness to play around with spirit homonculi. It's awesome. It's hard to say what the adjustment period would be like for my self insert character, but I imagine a sense of scientific curiosity would win over in the end. Zarei and her weird spectral lab assistant. Anyways.
Day and Zarei would still be canon in this AU, OF COURSE. I don't normally go for canon ships but I'm dedicated to Day-Z. Is that their ship name? I think that's their ship name.
I also just realized that in both scenarios, I imagined my self insert being the eager assistant to each girl's respective brands of chaos. The relationship would 100% come secondary to them being weird and cool. I guess I AM too aroace for this question HAHA
#paranatural#penny spender#mina zarei#anonz#anon this question was SO fun to think about#thanks so much for sending it in#gonna be thinking about this for a while LMAO#pnat shipping asks

Hey! Since it's Pride Month, I thought I'd share my flags! I want to create a comfortable space for people, so I'll share some stuff abt me :3
(cw sexual themes bc i talk about sex in a nonspecific way, just in case ^^)
Starting with gender...
From left to right: Genderfluid: Identifies with a fluid/changing gender. This could be changing daily, hourly, weekly, or just entirely at random! For me, I've had several occasions where I just feel a different way outta nowhere lol Genderfaun: Like genderfluid, but only encompassing masculine and neutral genders. I don't really feel like a feminine gender represents me, so I don't go by feminine pronouns. Transgender: You already know. /lh Hellgender: I am an otherkin/demonkin (once i post my persona here you'll probably be able to tell)!! Hellgender just means that how I feel about my gender can't be described by earthly terms, and hell-related descriptions are better suited. Neurogender: I identify with this gender because I feel that my gender comes from a skewed/incomplete understanding of gender norms, mainly from being neurodivergent, leading to a non-cisgender identity. TL;DR, instructions unclear i transed my gender because brain go brr
Okie, sexuality...

Again, from left to right: Omnisexual: Like its cousin Pansexual, I experience attraction to all genders. However, gender is a factor in that attraction. Achillean: I have a preference, as a masculine presenting person, for masculine/male people. Quoiromantic: I have no idea if i experience romantic attraction or not, so this fits pretty well. Cupiosexual: I like the idea of sex, but not to reproduce, and I don't feel sexual attraction. I see it more as a form of intimacy and as an activity to do. Additionally, as you may see on my blog, I post and interact with a lot of sexual things. This is because I see it as something to appreciate. Sex and its companion activities, especially when depicted, are some of my favorite art forms. Just the visuals of such intimacy is beautiful and I like looking at it :) (also, i can get horny too 3:< [<-its normally not this i just like seeing sex things lol]) Also one more bc it didn't really fit with the others...
Ambiamorous: I have little preference in whether I am in a monamorous relationship or a polyamorous one. I do prefer monamorous, but poly is fine :3 Note that I will not enter a polygamous relationship.
Okie that's it!! Happy Pride :3

you’re quick to take action . even in the most tense , life-or-death sort of moments , you never hesitate to lock in . . . forgive my terminology LMAOOOOOOO . but he really admires you for that because i’m getting the thought that your quick decision making skills have gotten the two of you out of very perilous situations
with the magician, i have a feeling that you’re able to wield a myriad of things to your benefit . for example , you know how in like video games a character normally has like one weapon they’re reeeeaaally good with , like in genshin tartaglia's build is rly good w/ bows and itto's it=s with claymores , like they can use other weapons but they’re not nearly as effective , but with you you can wield a bow or sword or polearm or even just your fists and you're still op LOLLLLLL you make the best with what you have and he loves that about you
you’re very resilient , strong in both a physical and emotional way . yk how in shonen animes when the main character is like thrown and falls through like a hundred walls and goes “… heh , i’m just getting started 😈 “ and stands up from the pile of rubble like they just didn’t break through bricks LMAOOADOHF that’s you both on a literal and figurative way T T he likes that abt you because it puts his mind at ease , that you can take care of yourself even when he isn’t around you , you’re a very capable being all on your own .
with the seven of cups it tells me you’re a very multi-faceted person , and he LOVVESSS that . like there’s a lot to you as a person , and his favourite thing abt it is knowing that there are parts of you that only ノheノ is privy to hehehheeheudhsiujh >////////< like maybe you’re secretly a really sappy person and NO ONE believes him when he says it because you’ve never ever shown that part of yourself to anyone else before

you’re a very passionate person !! it’s something that not only he does , but everyone notices it first about you . not only that , you also have a very vibrant aura surrounding you , it’s definitely the first thing that caught his eye . how you almost seem to be surrounded by this dreamy , hazy light at alllllll times ໒꒰ྀི ≧ ᗜ ≦ ꒱ྀི১ .
there's a quality you have that doesn't make you fit in , like there's something about you makes you stand out from the crowd . OOOHHHH maybe it’s your intellect ??? like you’re very in tune with your intuition in a way that’s almost scary , like you can clock shit from a mile away and that makes you stand out from everyone else . i'm also getting the vibe that your individual success is most probably what sort of alienates you from your peers ?? you’re like in a lane of your own in the good best way possible , like you aren’t doing it like anyone else and he picked up on that IMMEDIATELY

as i was shuffling the cards and the four of pentacles came up , for some reason i was like " awww he thinks you’re someone to cherish so deeply " , like yk how kids have a favourite stuffy they're never ever eeeeevvveeerrr seen without , like they’re always bringing it around everywhere and holding onto it so tightly , like that’s how he feels abt you LMFAISDAOSIDF
he wants to show you off !!! he’s like there’s no way someone as perfect as you is with me , i have got to be smug and brag abt how i pulled you LMAOOOAOHDSFHI i dont think he’d like ever actually go abt doing it though , because it’s showing up in a question on something he feels deep down , but if given the chance and subtly nudged into it he would do it so obnoxiously loud bc not only is he amazed that you even gave him a chance , but he’s like soooooo proud to be your partner (⸝⸝o̴̶̷᷄ ̫ o̴̶̷̥᷅⸝⸝)
new person , same old mistakes by tame impala is playing currently and i was humming the lyrics “ . . . tried but it’s way too late . . . “ during the intro of the song before literally any words were spoken T T . embarrassingly , they're the wrong lyrics , which doesn’t make any sense because i know this song through and through , i literally know the lyrics like the back of my hand ,, so i know that that was channeled for realzies because the thought that he feels like it was inevitable for him to fall for you appeared right alongside it . like maybe before the two of you got together he tried and tried and tried to ignore his feelings and it was all in vain because his fate was already sealed by the time he even realized ahsufjadsfjh
in that same vein , i get the feeling that before you two got together he liked you looooooooong before that . and he felt a sense of deceit when it came to you because he felt like he was betraying you for having these feelings ( ? ) in what he knew was meant to be a completely platonic relationship . & with the three of cups clarifying the seven of swords i do feel like that rly was the case ,,, omg he felt awful for even wanting to be more than friends LMAOOAOSHDFH
slightly off topic ,, but woowowwowoow i love when the spread tells a cohesive story iskjdfksj like he goes from feeling very secretive with the seven of swords , then there’s that whole confession arc of " omg i wanna be with you " with the page of pentacles , then in comes the celebration of reciprocation with the six of wands & finally the sense of security within actually being with you with the four of pentacles aaaAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH ໒꒰ྀི >ヮ<꒱ྀི১ !!!!! ꒰ & no joke as i was typing “omg i wanna be with you “ the boy is mine by ariana started playing LMAOAOOAJDFOJDA and it’s even funnier , but i didn’t include this , but i was thinking earlier with the whole manifestation aspect of the page of pentacles he feels like you were made for him HELLPPPP ??? ꒱

Putting you tags here because yes. If we have a sex repulsed ace with someone to whom bodily intimacy is an important part of the relationship it's abviously a recipe for disaster. Unless they're not monogamus and the sex-liking person outsorces those needs to another partner(s). But for that convo y'all have to be normal about poly relationships.
But even if we cast aside the far ends of the spectrum and focus on what's inbetween - there are aces who don't mind sex or even like it. Sex for them is just not the most important thing and if it just so happened that they end up with another ace and not have any sex for the rest of their lives they'll just be content with other things not even realizing that the last sexual situation they experienced was decades ago.
Then again the same person can do very well with an allo partner because they're still ok with sex. Is it sex with just this person? Or some kind of preson in general? Are feelings more important than general preferences? Doesn't matter, can be different for everyone. Point is they can ttly be compatibile with someone who not only needs sex in their life (= could have another partner for that) but in this exact realtionship relationship (= they agree to stay monogamous).
In the end it all boils down to clearly communicating one's boundaries. If you're horny on main (not a bad thing in itself!) but I'm sex repulsed and at least one of us wants us to stay monogamous then it won't work. If I can live just fine without sex as long as I can pleasure myself in privacy but it's still too much for you to handle then it won't work either.
But if both people agree what they're ok with the others' boundaries and how they want to handle their needs then it's non issue.
I know it may be shocking to some but sex and love are two very separte things where one can exist without the other or they can exist next to each other or together with one another.
TL;DR stop trying to paint the world with that one 6-color paintset you have and claim that this is how it looks irl. The reality has much more colors, hues, shades and textures and to some colors even have sounds. You may not see all the subtle vibes but they're there. Get on the shrimp level.
one of my fandom litmus tests is whether or not ppl think asexual characters can be in relationships because some of y’all would rather write five paragraph essays explaining why you can’t ship them with anyone than redefine the way you view love (aka acknowledge rather than invalidate relationships that have no sexual physicality)
#wrote it as a stream of thoughts with many interruptions inbetween so sorry if it's messy#sztefu talks
