Whosoever Takes This Poem Seriously

So far, so good at keeping up with the NovPAD prompts. Some of them have yielded kinda lame poems that look a little less lame, even slightly funny, if I type them out. Some of them were literally scribbled into my phone’s note app minutes before bedtime.

This one isn’t great, but it basically lays out my thought process upon discovering Day 4′s prompt was Whosoever ______. Sometimes you have to show your work and share the filler. Whosoever Takes This Poem Seriously

just because it starts with a highfalutin word like “whosoever,”
 a word reserved for declarations
 of great and terrible import, for vows and documents 
with binding signatures
 will be surely
 disappointed.
