You know what GETS ME about O.S.S.H.A arc Avid? Every bad thing he does, he does out of love. Avid has been trapped in Limbo for countless years by his own estimate, a thousand according to Olm, and either way it has been WAY too long. Then Olm tells him that if people fall into The Void, if His Friends fall into The Void- there is a chance that THEY will end up in Limbo too! Avid can’t let that happen, he CANNOT let his friends suffer the same way he has, so he’ll do WHATEVER it takes to keep them Safe. Yes, he wants to escape himself, but his first priority has ALWAYS been keeping his friends safe from HIS personal hell. He’s more afraid of them suffering than he is of continuing to suffer himself. He is a villain because he loves the other SBK-ers far more than he cares about his morals.

Every song from Short Circuits 03 by The Garages and how it relates to Skyblock Kingdoms

Because I'm normal. Some background:

WHAT IS SHORT CIRCUITS 03? - SC3 is an album by the garages that came out in February 2022, parallel to the last short circuit season in blaseball (long story). One of the more cohesive albums that the garages made, it's about time, how fickle everything is, and what you do with what you've got. And also has the funniest disstrack ever made. (Also I'm on it)

WHY SBK? - Because there's something so finite about skyblock due to the void that's under everyone's feet, and also they're dealing with god nonsense too. So it works. And I can do whatever I want so there.

OKAY NOW ONTO THE COMPARISONS

diary entry 7/15-7/28 + fourteen days is not enough for my screams to reach your ears: O.S.S.H.A. Avid + Avoid. The horror of realizing everything can swallow you whole so quickly and being unable to stop it. There's so much you want to say. And do. And you can do none of it. So you just have to sit there. Avoid has been in limbo for 1000 years. There is so much he wants to do. So much he wants to say. He can't, there's no time and all the time in the world (if anyone's out there somewhere between me and earth / or somewhere far out in the dark places / I hope my words have brought you some comfort / for one last time, this is Alice, at the end of everything.)

will: Sapphire. Just. Everything about Sapphire. Her imprisonment in Ruby's body and how they've been there for seemingly eons and need to get out (i know my chances are gone / odds almost one thousand hundred to one / but while there's still one / one shot / im searching for a way out / i'll keep searching for a way out), the relationship between Saph + Nav as well as Ruby + Viking in general and how push and pull it is (free me, take me, see you on the other side, let me go). This is the song that made me start thinking about SBK in connection to this album as a whole because it's SO in parallel

STRIKEOUT: Doovid. I continuously describe Doovid as a webkinz soaked in milk (which he is) but he's also a lot of fun! And this song is sososososo fun but is also about the most loser webkinz soaked in milk guy ever. To be fair Doovid is not a loser, but he has the like. Vibe of someone who walked into a party without knowing anyone due to the fact that he is the only average guy on the server full of people CONSTANTLY going through it (when my horoscope said that "my life would be changed" / i thought it meant that i would get to play college basketball / but i'm here, and i hear them call my name / i guess i should go). This song could also be about Milkman if you squint.

hymn to a non-allergic reaction: my song!!! this can be taken in two/three ways- leon simping for olm (if you wanna be funny) or olm possessing vintage (if you wanna be angsty) or O.S.S.H.A. Avid tubing his friends. Hey what if god showed up and wanted you to join his cult and in order to get you to do so he wrote you the most ineffective ad jingle known to man. But also what if he made not-so-subtle threats towards your friends and alluded to your role during the end of the world (so prep your family, say goodbye [tell all of your friends goodbye] / for the sake of peace they all may die). What if you wanted literally nothing to do with this (there is another god in the sky that calls my name. i do not want to listen to it, for it does not abide by science, but nothing in this world makes sense anymore, so f*ck it all, i guess.) but couldn't get away from it so you just. Gave up. Maybe this is also about Fool but idk much about him so bear with me.

two week world: less lore and more meta- SBK and it's community! This is a small community but it's one full of love and collaboration and we will cherish it for a long time. What the SBKers do here is gonna stick with us (maybe one day our light will guide someone home).

just bad: birch please. thats it thats the whole thing. if there's a line to compare it to. were like the netherlands weather in that just like it were bad. i take no pleasure in announcing the facts.

So not to have SBK brain rot, but I headcannon that Avid created O.S.S.H.A due to his experience within the void. Perhaps he is afraid that what happened to him will happen to others, or perhaps he is afraid he will change further the more he falls

OH,,,, oh. Man. he's the one with firsthand experience with the void and what it can do to a person. he came out the other end mostly okay, but what about the others? is this only the start for him? someone needs to do something, because the other islanders / skyblockers / monarchs / whatever arent taking it seriously.

plus he REALLY has beef with acacia and accused them of trying to directly sacrifice people to the void, which is how they ended up as a level 8 on the scale. hes taking acacia personally.

You got it Vintage o7 ! A lot of these are hybrid headcanons because, as I'm sure you know, MCYT fandoms love to give people creature traits because its cool. -Marmalade definitely has a grimiore of spells. I think she also has some void staining on her hands and legs from repeatedly falling in the void. -Centipede hybrid Kittrix! (this is a compliment i love insects) She is actually one of the people I haven't gotten to watching her POV yet but I thought it would be fun because of the clattering of her keyboard and the bright red hair! (look up malaysian cherry red centipede if you are not scared by bugs. they are Very red. its cool.) -Elffe made a joke about eating the magic crystals Milkman has in his shop so I think he should get to actually be able to do that, for fun. He should also get to have sharp teeth, also for fun. -Ruby is an allay so i think xe gets a swishy tail with blue fur on the end. -I like the idea that Trog has been studying void for a long long time. Time can get a bit strange with the void, so they've had much more time than people usually would, though perhaps at a price. I think they have lots of notes saved about it. They also have void staining that only shows when something bothers it, therefore they have a dark mark where O.S.S.H.A's laboratory signal beam hit them. -Anything I say about Anathra here would technically be spoilers because his lore hasn't shown up much yet but know that how his visor functions and what that means has been rotating in our mind since finding out what it does. I do think he gets to be something inhuman as well though, perhaps from space, who knows. -Acorn is fae! She's still getting used to some minecraft things and i think that's from adjusting to the overworld from the fae wilds. Also using plants such as leafs or acorns as currency when dealing with humans is literally a fae thing. It's like right there. -There is a headcanon for Doovid that i know at least three people share that will only make sense if you have watched a very specific old mcyt series. i am one of the people who shares this headcanon. So i will just say his goggles have important significance. -[gestures wildly at avids 100 days nightmare series] [gestures more intently] [gestures at limbo] there so much going on there. hi. he does also have sharp teeth though (monkeys have very long canine teeth! therefore so would doovid)

Thing about Dr Tube again.....

Thinking about how the closest thing they have to a parent held a sword to their throat and. offered to kill them, as if expecting them to want to die. As if their desire to live was wrong somehow. And then they met Trog for the first time, someone they expected to hate or at very least dislike them for taking over their life and siding with O.S.S.H.A, someone they though would want them to leave at the very least. And Trog saved them. Trog wanted them to live when their own creator thought they should die.

How do you think that would feel?
